Welcome to the annual
Wintery Wonderland

tree-topping ceremony,
a tradition that dates back

to when
my great-great-grandfather

settled this town
/ years ago.

Wintery Wonderland tree topper.

I can't believe
we get to participate

a magical ceremony.

The snow is fake.

It's the middle of July,
and hello!

Where are
the presents,

AKA the best part
of the holidays?

Wintery Wonderland is about
more than presents!

Nobody asked you,
snowball.

I'm Snowy, the Wintery
Wonderland snowball mascot,

and you're holding up
the ceremony.

The passing
of the tree topper

is about the act
of giving, not getting.

All I'm getting
is B-O-R-D.

Don't be such a grump.

This place celebrates
everything I love

about the holidays --

carolers, decorations,
ugly sweaters.

Max: Ooh, they're almost
to the tree.

totally lost on you?

No. This town is
all about the holidays,

and the most important thing
about the holidays

are the presents.

Ben,
the spirit of the holiday

is way more important
than getting stuff.

You can keep
your spirit.

I'm a superhero,
and I want my super toys.

Were you aware that this town
has seven toy stores?

There are five on
this one street alone!

Now,
if you'll excuse me,

I have a lot of toys
I need to write down

on Ben's Holiday
Want List.

The epicenter
of outpouring emotion

appears to be coming from
that small village ahead.

Very peculiar.

Such levels
of positive emotion

appear to be uncommon
among large groups of humans.

If it could be polarized
to a negative emotion,

the harvest
could replenish our batteries.

Our reserves are reaching
dangerous levels.

[ Beeping ]

We should make
everyone feel bad

so we can collect
their negative energy.

He literally
just said that.

You promised I could say
the evil plan this time.

emo robots again.

I'll show those robo-duds
some holid-alien spirit.

The word play wasn't that bad!

Our concentration of emotion
could be emanating

from these whimsical
establishments.

Their annihilation
will be a total bummer.

These guys have messed
with the wrong camper.

a little steam.

from the toys.

Your affection for these
novelties is encouraging.

Their destruction would be
quite fulfilling

if I felt emotions.

[ Grunts ]

share his devotion
to these trinkets...

Their destruction would generate
an infinite amount of power.

The sheer amount of toys
would be overwhelming

This outpouring of positive
emotion is draining power.
