PINKALICIOUS: "Plantastically Pink."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): I'm waiting for

a very important delivery.

It should be here any minute!

(doorbell chimes)

It's here! It's here!

♪ ♪

(gasps)

What is it, Pinkalicious?

Something I've been waiting for

for a very long time.

Oh, I remember when we ordered it.

Ordered what?

I wonder what it looks like.

What what looks like?

A Pinkabloom seed!

What's a Pinkabloom?

The prettiest, most pinkatastic flower

in the whole wide world!

Wow!

I'm going to grow it in the backyard.

It's going to be pinkaperfect.

I wish I had a Pinkabloom seed, too.

You can help me plant mine, if you want.

Really?

(giggling)

We have to find the perfect spot for the Pinkabloom.

How about there?

PINKALICIOUS: Hmm... too shady.

Pinkablooms need a lot of sun.

There?

PINKALICIOUS: Too crowded!

Pinkablooms need a lot of room to grow.

Ooh!

There!

Perfect! Come on!

♪ ♪

PINKALICIOUS: That should be big enough.

Seed, please.

Here you go.

Grow big and strong, little seed.

Can I cover it up?

Yes.

But be very gentle.

♪ ♪

Now, we wait for the Pinkabloom to grow.

How long do we have to wait?

Not long.

The Pinkabloom will start to grow any minute now,

and when it does, oh, it'll be pinkatastic.

♪ ♪

What are you two staring at?

You trying to hypnotize worms or something?

Oh, hi, Kendra!

We just planted a Pinkabloom seed.

It'll be here any minute now.

I doubt it.

Flowers take a very long time to grow.

Not the Pinkabloom.

The Pinkabloom is different.

We just need to water it, and...

(gasps) We forgot to water it!

♪ ♪

See? What did I tell you?

Flowers don't grow that quickly.

Not even Pinkablooms.

Come on, Pinkabloom!

Why won't you grow?

What are you doing?

I read somewhere that plants

like it when you talk to them.

Ha!

The next thing you know, you'll be singing to it.

Great idea, Kendra!

Plants love that, too!

Singing to plants?

Now I've heard everything!

It's worth a try.

(clears throat)

♪ Come on Pinkabloom, it's time to grow ♪

♪ There's no need to be so slow ♪

It's working!

It was my idea!

Don't stop, Pinkalicious!

♪ Grow, grow, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ Grow up tall ♪

♪ Be the prettiest flower of all ♪

That's amazing!

What's amazing?

Her flower grows when she sings to it!

It's called a Pinkabloom. Watch!

♪ Come on Pinkabloom, grow up high ♪

♪ Grow until you touch the sky ♪

Wow! Can I try?

Sure!

♪ Grow tall, Pinkabloom, tall and strong ♪

♪ Grow and grow when you hear my song ♪

ALL: (giggling)

My turn!

♪ Grow tall, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ That's what I said ♪

♪ Grow 'til you have clouds on your head ♪

Where's the flower?

It's supposed to have a flower.

It's inside that bud.

KENDRA: How come it's not blooming?

Maybe it needs to grow some more.

It's going to take forever for it to be as tall

as the flower in the picture.

Maybe if I sing faster, it'll grow faster.

And then it will bloom, right?

Right!

(faster tempo): ♪ Come on Pinkabloom, it's time to grow ♪

♪ There's no need to be so slow ♪

♪ Grow more quickly, zoom, zoom, zoom ♪

♪ I want to see a Pinkabloom bloom! ♪

It's working!

Do it again.

What's working?

It's Pinkalicious's Pinkabloom, Mommy.

It grows when we sing to it.

And the faster we sing, the faster it grows.

Show her, Pinkalicious.

(slowly): ♪ Come on Pinkabloom ♪

♪ It's time to grow ♪

♪ There's no need to be so slow ♪

(speeding up): ♪ Grow more quickly ♪

♪ Zoom, zoom, zoom! ♪

♪ I want to see a Pinkabloom bloom! ♪

(gasps) That's amazing!

You made the tempo faster, and the Pinkabloom grew faster!

What's tempo?

Well, it's how fast or slow you play or sing music.

You mean like this?

(slowly): ♪ This is a slow tempo ♪

♪ Slow tempo, slow tempo ♪

(speeding up): ♪ And now it's getting faster ♪

♪ Faster, faster! ♪

♪ And now the tempo's really fast ♪

♪ And now the tempo's really fast! ♪

♪ Really, really, really, really ♪

♪ Really, really, really fast! ♪

(laughter) Oh, Peter.

My turn!

(quickly): ♪ The Pinkabloom grows and grows and grows ♪

♪ How tall will it be? No one knows! ♪

(singing faster): ♪ The Pinkabloom grows ♪

♪ And grows and grows, how tall will it be? ♪

♪ No one knows! ♪

(fast tempo): ♪ The Pinkabloom grows ♪

♪ And grows and grows, how tall will it be? ♪

♪ No one knows! ♪

And now, the fastest tempo of all!

♪ The Pinkabloom grows and grows and grows ♪

♪ How tall will it be? No one knows! ♪

(laughter)

I think you can stop singing, Pinkalicious.

The plant is tall enough.

But it hasn't bloomed yet, Mommy.

It's supposed to look like this!

It's going to have beautiful pink petals,

and it's going to smell so wonderful.

Then I guess you'd better keep singing.

♪ Come on Pinkabloom, it's time to bloom ♪

♪ I want you to bloom real soon... ♪

It's never going to bloom!

And it's getting late.

I'd better head home.

Me, too.

See ya, guys!

(yawns)

Time for bed, guys.

But the Pinkabloom still hasn't bloomed!

I have to keep singing!

Please, Daddy?

Tell you what.

Your bedroom's right up there.

How about you get ready for bed and sing from your window?

(gasps)

I can help!

Maybe we can take turns... if you can stay awake.

I can stay awake.

(slowly): ♪ Bloom, bloom, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ Faster than a blink ♪

♪ Bloom, bloom, Pinkabloom, pink, pink, pink... ♪

(yawns)

Your turn, Peter.

Peter?

PETER: (snoring)

(yawning): I guess it's my turn again.

(very slowly): ♪ Come on Pinkabloom ♪

♪ It's time to bloom ♪

♪ I want you to bloom real soon... ♪

(yawns)

♪ Bloom, bloom, Pinkabloom, faster than a blink ♪

♪ Bloom, bloom, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ Pink, pink... ♪

(snores)

(birds chirping)

Wake up, sleepy heads.

(both yawn)

I'm not a sleepyhead, Daddy!

I was up singing to the Pinkabloom all night.

(gasps) The Pinkabloom-- did it bloom?

Aww, I don't believe it!

It didn't bloom!

Not even a tiny bit.

But you sang and sang and sang and sang.

And sang really fast!

I know.

The fast tempo helps the Pinkabloom grow faster,

but it doesn't make it bloom.

I guess I need to try something else.

Come on!

♪ ♪

Hey, what... What about your hot chocolate?

Maybe the flower can't hear you inside that bud.

You might be right, Peter!

I'll try singing louder!

♪ Come on Pinkabloom, it's time to bloom ♪

♪ I want you to bloom real soon ♪

♪ Bloom, bloom, Pinkabloom, faster than a blink ♪

(coughs)

(hoarsely): ♪ Pink, pink, pink ♪

You are not still singing to that plant!

I am, and I'll keep singing until it blooms.

(hoarsely): ♪ Come on, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ It's time to bloom ♪

(coughing): ♪ I want you to bloom real soon ♪

But you're losing your voice.

I'll help you sing louder.

PINKALICIOUS and PETER: ♪ Bloom, bloom, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ Faster than a blink ♪

♪ Pink, pink, pink ♪

Look!

It's starting to bloom!

(clears throat) Maybe because Peter and I sang together.

It must like loud music!

If we all sing together,

the song will be even louder!

Then, maybe it'll bloom

even more.

Maybe the tempo needs to be a teensy bit faster!

(cheering)

PINKALICIOUS: It's even more beautiful than I imagined!

Mommy! Daddy!

(gasp)

Oh, wow, that is the pinkest Pinkabloom

I've ever seen.

Have you ever seen a Pinkabloom?

Well... no.

But it's still the pinkest!

ALL: ♪ Pinkabloom, Pinkabloom ♪

♪ Pretty as can be ♪

♪ You have bloomed for my friends and me! ♪

(cheering)

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): I am going to sing

to all my flowers now and see what happens.

KIDS: That's artalicious!

I'm Caleb, this is Maggie.

Today, we're making paper bag kites.

♪ ♪

CALEB: We need a paper bag,

glue,

markers,

string,

some tape,

a straw,

stuff to decorate with,

and a ribbon for the tail.

I think we need holes

for the string to go in.

Yeah! Can you please do it for us?

Sure, I can.

CALEB: We asked my mom

to punch holes in the kite,

so that we can put the string through the holes.

We're going to tape the string

to the kite so that the string doesn't slip out.

♪ ♪

The kite will look super cool!

MAGGIE: I'm drawing a purple cloud.

CALEB: Nice.

We should make shapes out of the paper.

♪ ♪

CALEB: Now we're adding a straw

to the kite to keep the kite from bending.

MAGGIE: Can you please hold the...

straw down?

Be careful, don't tape the string.

Okay, there we go.

Every kite needs a tail!

♪ ♪

Let's see if it flies.

Three, two,

one!

Go!

MAGGIE: (laughing)

PINKALICIOUS: "Painting Pixie."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Today, Peter and I are going outside to play.

I just need to find my tiara...

Peter!

Have you seen my tiara?

No tiara here!

♪ ♪

Found it!

All right!

(gasps) What's this?

It's a little painting...

on my tiara?

(giggling)

Peter, did you paint this?

It's so cute!

No!

It wasn't me.

Can you please tie my shoe?

(gasping): Look at that!

Hey! I've got a painting on my shoe!

But, who painted it?

Maybe Daddy did.

He likes to surprise us.

Come on!

Daddy! Daddy!

I found a painting on my shoe!

And I found one on my tiara!

Paintings? Really?

Look! Did you paint them?

I wish I did, but it wasn't me.

I've been making spaghetti sauce all morning.

(slurps)

It needs something... hmm.

Look at this!

Another painting!

Who could be making all these

little surprise paintings?

Maybe it was Mommy!

Hey, you're never going to believe this.

I found a little painting on my toothpaste! Ha!

If Mommy and Daddy didn't make these pinkapretty paintings...

Who did?

Oh! Rafael is a really good artist.

Maybe he made them.

Let's go ask him!

Whoa!

Rafael!

Check this out!

It's a little painting of a puppy.

(barks)

You didn't paint it?

Me? No!

Hmm... Someone's been leaving little paintings

in strange places.

Like on my shoe.

Oh, wow.

Yeah, we don't know who it is.

But we're going to find out!

Oh, I wish I could help you...

(panting, barks)

...but I really need to take Rusty for his walk.

(all giggling)

(giggling)

look at this painting! (laughs)

The painter's been here!

We must be on the right track!

Maybe we can get her to come out.

Peter! Give me your shoe.

The painter likes putting paintings

on the bottom of shoes, right?

(gasps) We found you!

We didn't mean to startle you.

I'm Pinkalicious, and this is my brother, Peter.

Hi, I'm Penelope.

Are you the artist who's been leaving

little paintings everywhere?

(laughing): That's me!

I'm a Painting Pixie!

BOTH: A Painting Pixie?

What's a Painting Pixie?

Painting Pixies surprise people with art.

See, it makes them happy, and that makes us happy.

Oh! You're doing a really good job!

You're putting art in all kinds of surprising places.

Thanks. (giggles)

But I'm actually a junior Painting Pixie...

I'm trying to earn my big pixie wings.

See, right now, I can only fly this high.

But once I get my big wings,

I'll be able to fly way up to the sky!

How do you get your big pixie wings?

Well, first, I have to paint pictures

on all of these canvases.

And then, I have to find surprising places to put them

before the sun sets tonight.

Then I'll get my big pixie wings!

That's a lot of paintings, Penelope.

Where are you going to put them all?

You can put art almost anywhere!

♪ ♪

♪ A picture here ♪

♪ A picture there, but not where you would think ♪

♪ It could be in the attic or the bottom of the sink ♪

♪ Underneath a pillow case or in a pickle jar ♪

(cheering)
