Mm-hmm.

Yes. Very good.

-Toad?-Yes, Frog?

I believe our kite is ready to fly.

Are you sure?

I am sure.

It will fly all the way to the topof the sky. You will see.

Well, all right then. I will see.

[door opens, closes]

You seem very sure of this kite, Frog.

That is because I have confidence.

Hmm. What do you mean by "confidence"?

Confidence is believing in somethingso much that it is sure to happen.

Well, I have never made a kite before, and neither have you.

But I would like for it to fly.

Then have some confidence, and it will.

All right.

If you say so.

Ooh, look at that.

Hiya, Frog.

Hiya, Toad.

What ya got there, hmm?

A kite. Frog and I made it.

Frog says it will flyall the way to the top of the sky.

I have confidence.

Oh, really? All the way to the top of the sky?

Well, we sure would like to see that.

Well then, come to the meadowand you may watch.

Now let us see this kite fly.

[grunts]

Huh?

Frog, what just happened? Not enough confidence?

Not enough wind.

We need confidence and wind to fly a kite.

Do you see the wind? I do not.

[smacks lips] Try this.

Why that?

This is a way to find the wind.I see other folks do it sometimes.

[smacks lips] Hmm.

Is it working?

Mmm. I am not sure.

Maybe we should try something else.

-Wind? Hello, wind? Are you there?-Wind, come this way! We need you!

[wind blowing]

Frog, see that? The wind heard us.

Yes, it feels very windy. This must be good for flying our kite.

Let's try again. I will hold the stringwhile you run with the kite.

Right. Here I go.

[grunting, panting]

[groans]

[tutting]

Why are you making that… [tutting] …sound?

We have bad news for you, Toad.Your kite will not fly.

-It won't?-Oh, no. Not at all.

Well, why not? We have plenty of wind.

-Too heavy.-No feathers.

-Lacks aerodynamics.-Too many holes.

-Not enough holes.-Oh, forget about it.

[sighs]

Frog, this kite will not fly.

Oh? How can you be so sure?

The robins told me.

They said it lacks aerodynamics.

I have no idea what that even means, but whatever it is, we do not have it.

Toad, do not listen to those birds. They know nothing about flying.

Trust me, I'm a frog.

We do not need aerodynamics.

No?

No. Because we have confidence, remember?

Try once more, Toad. This time, wave the kite over your head.

[chuckles] Confidence.

Oh, and waving. Don't forget the waving!

[grunting, panting]

I have confidence! [grunts]

Wow, they are not giving up.

[robins] Aw.

Blah.

We tried to tell you, Toad.

That kite will never make it to the sky.

[groans]Our kite will never make it to the sky.

Toad, have you beenlistening to the robins again?

No.

Maybe.

We must try one very last time.

This time, you should run, wave and jump up and down.

[panting, grunting]

Lean into the wind!

Use the airfoil!

Go, Toad!

It's flying. It's flying!

It's falling.

[robins] Aw.

We know you're trying, Toad. We really do.

But it will never work. You might as well throw that kite away.

We might as well throw this kite away.

Toad, we must tryone more very, very last time.

This time, you should run, hop upand down, wave and shout, "Up, kite, up!"

And it will flyall the way up into the sky?

Do you have confidence?

Yes?

Then it will!

[grunting]

Up, kite, up.

Up, kite, up! Up, kite, up!

-Well, would you look at that.-Yeah!

-Whoo-hoo!-It actually worked. That kite is flying!

We did it, Frog. All the way to the top of the sky.

I knew we could. It just took some confidence.

And running and shouting and jumping.

Yes, that too.

Whoa. This kite really does want to fly.

-Whoa! Toad?-[pants]

[grunts] I have you, Frog.

Gotta hand it to you, Frog and Toad. That kite sure is up there.

Even we robins can't fly that high.

Maybe you need more confidence.

-Whoa!-[strains]

Looks like your kitewants to take you both for a ride.

I do not want to fly.

I do not want to fly either.

Down, kite, down!

Maybe it can't hear you on account ofit being up there at the top of the sky.

-[both] Down, kite, down!-We'll help!

[both] Down, kite, down!

[Robin] Down, kite, down.

Should we let go?

Then our kite would fly away, and we worked so hard on it together.

Hmm, that is true.

Shout again?

[all] Down, kite, down! Down, kite, down!

Hey, what's all the-- [gasps] Oh.

That's quite the catch you've got there,Frog and Toad. Need a hand?

If not too much trouble, Gopher.

Why, it's no trouble at all.

[strains] Oh-- Whoa!

[all] Down, kite, down!

Down, kite, down!

[robins] Down, kite, down!

This is actually kind of fun, don't you think?

Like a stroll through the countryside, without the strolling part.

I would prefer my feet on the ground, where they belong.

Oh, well, there's Turtle.Maybe she can help.

[all] Down, kite, down!

Down, kite, down!

Turtle, grab ahold of us,and see if you can pull us down.

This kite is not listening.

[all] Whoa!

-Frog.-Yes, Toad?

This kite has a lot of confidence.

It certainly does.

Too much confidence.

Mercy me, what is this?

Hello, Mink. We're flying our kite.

Looks like the kite is flying you.Let me give you a hand.

[grunts]

Come on, folks, grab ahold!

-[robins cheering]-[Toad, Mink] Yeah!

Now that's what I call teamwork.

Thank you, everyone.

[wind gusting]
