For this experiment,

we'll need a coffee filter,

some colourful marker pens,
a plate,

and some water.

-First, we take
a coffee filter

and put it flat on the plate.

Then, we take a marker,
and draw a circle somewhere

around the middle.

You can add extra circles
if you want,

but make sure
they're not too close together.

Now, we add a few drops of water
to the middle of the filter...

...and watch what happens.

-The colours are moving!

-And changing!

-That's called chromatography.

The water moves through the ink

and separates it
into different colours.

Then, you can tape them
to a stick or straw...

-Wow, pretty flowers!

-Woof!

-What's your second wish
going to be?

-Let's think of something big!
-Like a volcano!

-One volcano, coming up!

[ Swoop! ]
For this experiment, we need...

[ All ] Clay!
Yes!

And a small water bottle,

water, washing up liquid,
baking powder,

vinegar, and red food dye.

First, build a mountain
around the water bottle.

Next, fill the bottle
halfway up with water.

Then, add a few drops
of washing up liquid,

two tablespoons
of baking powder,

and a few drops
of red food dye.

Then, we mix it all together!

Now, to turn our mountain
into a volcano

with some vinegar.
[ Glug! Glug! Glug! ]

When the vinegar
and baking powder mix,

they bubble up
and expand until...

[ Rumbling ]

[ Squirt! ]

-[ Gasps ] It erupts!

-Like a volcano!

-I calculate that leaves you
with one more wish.

-And remember, Squirrels.

-Ah, woof!

-Be careful what you wish for.

-This is it.

-Our last wish has to be
really special.

[ All ] Ice cream!

-Er, yeah.

That works for me.

-For this, we'll need...

a small food bag,
a big food bag, milk,

cream, sugar,
vanilla, ice cubes,

salt, and toppings!

First, put the milk, cream,
sugar, and vanilla

into the small bag.

Squeeze out the air

and seal.
[ Zip! ]

Next, put the ice cubes
and the salt inside the big bag

and stir them together.

[ Giggling ]

Then, put the small bag
inside the big bag,

seal the whole thing up...
[ Zip! ]

...and shake!

Salt mixed with ice cubes
makes the inside

of the big bag extra cold.

This cools the mixture in the
small bag, turning it into...

[ Splat! ]
[ All ] Ice cream!

[ Ding! ]
Mmm!

-Delicious.

-Well, time to get back
to my experiments.

[ Swoop! ]

Oh, I just wish
I had more space to work in!
