Everyone loves an adventure
and having
an exciting story to tell,
and the island of Sodor
is a place where
many exciting things happen.
[whistle toots]
All aboard for a big adventure.
"Rangers of the Rails."
[thunder rumbles]
Uh-oh, sounds like there's
a storm on the way.
Oh, dear, I hope it's over
by the morning.
One of my jobs tomorrow
is taking the Sodor rangers
-up to Callan Castle.
-For a campout?
Oh, wow, how exciting, Nia.
[thunder cracks]
[wind blowing]
Whoa!
Oh, listen to that storm.
Don't worry, Percy.
It's the perfect night
to stay indoors
and tell stories.
Oh, yes. Oh, please, Nia,
tell us the story
of you and Thomas
in the Brazilian rainforest.
Oh, yes, the one
with all the rain
and the collapsing bridge.
Oh, oh, or about
the animals in Africa.
Wow, you've been everywhere,
Nia.
Although there was
that time I went
to The Great Railway Show
on the mainland.
Oh, not that old story.
We've heard it a trillion,
million times, Emily.
Sorry, it's been a while

I've got a lot to do today.
Once I've finished at the yard,
I have to pick up the car
of camping supplies
and take the Sodor rangers
up to Callan Castle.
That's a lot of work, Nia.
Ooh, I know.
What if Emily takes the
Sodor rangers instead, Nia?
Then you have more time
to do your other jobs,
and maybe Emily
will have an adventure
on the way up
to the rangers' camp.
[gasps]
What do you think, Nia?

Oh!
Why are we stopping again?
Oh, dear. I need to make up

when I saw that you forgot
the rangers' camping supplies.
Yeah, I realized that
after I came off the line,
but look, the girls have been
practicing their ranger skills,
and they found clean water,
kept themselves warm,
and even made shelters.
-Amazing!
-I know.
It's been really good fun,
but I'm glad to see you,

the girls will be happy
that you brought
the extra supplies.
