Chuck: Hi, I'm Chuck. Here are a few things that you might need to know.

Alejandro Fulgencio Goya,
chief m*llitary officer of Costa Gravas.

Goya: You saved my life.

How can I ever hope to repay you?

Sarah: Casey!

Casey: Gonna be laid up for a while.

Sarah: Well, maybe you could use the time to meet up with Alex, figure out what your role is in her life.

Casey: Why do you have my daughter's phone number?

(low growl)

Sarah: I do need to take things... slow.

Chuck; Super slow.

Sarah: Oh! Uh...

Whoa!

Sarah: Whoa.

Chuck: Wow.

The...

Sarah: You're not... I-I mean...

Chuck: No! Oh, no, no.

This... I don't want...

It was here, it was on the... it was on the ground.

Of course, with the one knee, you were assum... but no, not, that's not it.

Sarah: Well, I'm going to go talk to...

Chuck: I'm gonna go exercise.

So awkward.

Morgan; In a world filled with awkward Chuck and Sarah moments comes one moment so awkward...

Chuck; Morgan.

Morgan; That it will have...

Chuck; Morgan!

Please, don't t*rture me.

Sarah and I haven't spoken one word about what happened, and even though I wasn't proposing, I'd like to know if thinking I might have been was, you know, good news or horrible news.

She's acting like nothing ever happened.

Morgan;,I get it, I get it.

Your woman is a hot mystery... we both know that... but I'm actually more interested in this piece of the puzzle.

Now... would you have been happy if she accidentally said yes to your accidental proposal?

That's what's on the table.

Chuck: I mean, I didn't think we were there yet, but... maybe.

Morgan; Well, I tell you what.

Before there are any proposals, I'll tell you what I know.

You both are, without a doubt, crap communicators.

Chuck: Well, I... No, no, hold on a second.

Morgan: Precious looks and whimsical little make-ups after big misunderstandings, you guys are fantastic, sure, but... actual real live day-to-day open communication about your feelings?

Chuck: I get it.

We could be better communicators, fine.

So what now?

A self-help book?

No.

Morgan: This isn't just any self-help book.

This is Dr. Fred's 101 Conversations Before "I Do. "

Chuck; Yeah, but I can't bring Sarah a book about getting to "I do. "

We just had a talk about how she needs to take it slow, buddy.

Morgan: Don't show her the book, but use it as a tool to help you guys talk, man.

Chuck: Look, we can communicate without the help of a book, okay?

We're not that bad.

Morgan: You're great. You're right, I'm sorry, yeah.

I mean, you don't know whether or not you proposed, or if you did, if you're happy about it, or if she said yes or no to what may or may not have been a proposal, or if either of you ever want you to actually ask her for real.

Chuck; Yeah?

Morgan: Yeah, you don't need no book.

You're fine.

You're the perfect couple.

Captain: And when you're older, You and Daddy can work out together.

This is one of Daddy's favorite jams for tri-blasting.

Ellie: Devon.

Devon: Yeah.

Ellie: Do you realize that you haven't addressed me in over an hour?

Devon: Oh. Sorry, babe.

Hey, I gotta talk to Mommy for a minute, okay?

Hello, beautiful.

Ellie; Hello.

We need to talk.

I am, uh, feeling a little over-babied.

I'm not even four months pregnant, and it's all we talk about.

My hot husband suddenly drives a minivan.

Devon: Yeah, an awesome minivan.

Toyota Sienna, safest family auto in its class.

Ellie; I'm just saying that maybe we could... maybe we could get away, go somewhere, like...

Let's take a babymoon.

Devon: Oh, babe, I'd love to.

But colleges can cost over $300, 000 grand by 2028.

We gotta prioritize.

Ellie: The baby's not even here yet.

Can't we just spend these last few months as just us?

Devon: You need a break from babyland.

Ellie: Yes.

Devon: I am with you, honey.

Ellie: Okay.

Devon; Okay.

(whispering): We'll talk later, huh?

Beckman: Good evening, team.

Comandante Juan Pablo Turrini.

Most trusted advisor to Cost Gravan Premier Alejandro Goya.

Casey: Ah! The Generalissimo.

Casey, you're supposed to in bed recovering.

Casey: Getting some fresh air.

Chuck: In an underground bunker.

(Beckman clears throat)

Casey: So what's with Turrini?

Beckman: I ran into him a couple of times when I was trying to k*ll the Generalissimo.

He's the head of Costa Gravan Secret Police, and he's in town unannounced, which is extremely unusual.

I want everyone who wasn't sh*t recently to stake out the embassy to see if he turns up.

Everyone else should be in bed.

Sarah: No sign of Costa Gravan activity.

Chuck: Sarah?

Sarah: Yeah?

What is it, Chuck?

Chuck: Um...

We are crap communicators.

Sarah; What?

Chuck; Why are we so afraid to talk about the whole ring thing?

You know? I mean, we're in love.

You wear your teeth-bleaching system in front of me.

We should be able to talk, no?

Sarah: Okay. Well, um, let's talk about it.

Chuck: Okay! Okay.

Well, first of all, first of all, you know that-that definitely was not a... proposal, right?

Sarah: Yes! Yes, uh, totally, of course.

Chuck: Of course.

Of course? I mean, it could've been misconstrued.

Morgan... I know... Morgan gave me this book.

This kind of, you know...

It's a silly book, full of silly things, like questions, that you're supposed to ask your partner to help you get talking about the hard to talk about things.

So I was thinking...

I don't know, maybe we'll...

Sarah: Should I read it?

Chuck: No, no, no, no, no, no.

I'll read it.

I'll read it, and I'll ask you the questions, yeah.

And then we can have a series of emotionally stimulating conversations.

Or at least that's what the back cover says.

Beckman: Walker, Bartowski, we have new information.

Sarah: What is it?

Beckman; Our satellite picked up Turrini's motorcade.

He's not headed to the embassy.

Chuck: So then, where is he heading?

Turrini: Buenas noches, Dr. Woodcomb.

Unavoidable. Life is full of changes.
