Previously on Secrets and Lies...

Jess is bipolar and goes off her meds.

How violent does she get?

There's no way that she k*lled Tom.

The first blow happened here, and then she chased him back there, where he d*ed.

I thought you were looking at Ben Crawford.

Tom's k*ller is female.

You don't know what it's like to lose a child!

I loved Tom, too!

You still have yours!

Christy: Is Abby with you?

What?

I've looked everywhere, Ben. She's gone.

Do you have Abby in there?!

You lost your daughter now? Feels horrible, doesn't it?

I'll k*ll you!

Ben: Abby!

Abby!

Abby!

Open the damn door, Jess!

[Cellphone ringing]

Hey.

Ben, where is she?

We're gonna find her.

I'm scared.

I know. I am, too. But you got to stay calm.

God, what if...

Don't even say it.

It's been hours. [Beep]

All right. That's the other line. It could be news.

Call me back.

I will.

Ben Crawford.

Mr. Crawford.

Did Elaine call you?

Yes, she did.

Jess has Abby. I don't know what she's capable of.

Officers are on their way to you right now.

[Sirens wailing]

All right. I see them. They're here.

Mr. Crawford, did you r*pe Jess Murphy?

Mr. Crawford, are you there?

[Knock on door]

Mr. Crawford?

Yeah, I'm here.

Uh... be right there!

Uh, can you hold on? I got to let the cops in.

Of course.

[Cellphone beeps]

Mr. Crawford?

[Cellphone beeps]

Son of a bitch.

[Door slams]

[Police radio chatter]

Where's Abby?!

Get out of my house!

Abby!

Get out of my house!

Get out of my house!

Man: Police! Open up!

What did you do to her?

What did you do with my daughter?!

I don't have her!

Where is she?

Get your hands up!

Where the hell is she?

Aah!

Hands up!

She has my daughter!

Mr. Crawford, please.

Down on the ground.

Get your hands up now.

Last night, he r*ped me!

Woman: It's gonna be okay.

That's a lie!

That's why he broke into my house today.

I understand.

You're a liar!

I'm scared.

It'll be all right.

Mr. Crawford.

She has my daughter.

You've got to help me find her!

Let's go.

Why won't you... you've got to listen to me! Please!

I don't know. He just ran in.

Officer: It's all right.

Broke the window.

Right this way.

Jess: I didn't do anything wrong.

Man: All right, let's go.

He's crazy.

She's got my daughter!

She has Abby! The woman is deranged!

[Car door opens]

[Engine turns over]

Get in. [Police radio chatter]

Notify the precinct. [Siren chirps]

Officer: Detective.

You need to see this.

Blue jacket.

[Siren wailing]

Jess has done something with Abby.

I'm telling you. You got to help me.

Your daughter's fine, Mr. Crawford.

What?

She's at your brother-in-law's.

She's with her mother.

She went for a walk and didn't tell anybody.

[Exhales deeply]

She's safe and sound.

[Sighs]

I want to talk to her.

As soon as we're done here, you can.

Okay, I don't care what she said.

I didn't r*pe Jess Murphy.

So you've said.

I slept with her, but I went to bed with one woman and woke up with another one.

She is crazy.

I'm aware of Jess Murphy's medical history.

Did you know that she had another child who d*ed?

And then there's Tom?

Where'd you find that?

I found that soaking in Jess Murphy's laundry sink.

Come on. This is insane.

I didn't r*pe Jess, I didn't put that in her sink, and I haven't seen that jacket since the day in the woods.

I know, Mr. Crawford.

What do you know?

I know all about Jess Murphy.

I know you didn't have the jacket.

And I know you didn't k*ll Tom.

You know?

I do.

You're free to go.

Go home, Mr. Crawford.

Okay.

[Door opens, closes]

Abby: I'm sorry, Dad. I wanted to be by myself.

I'm just glad you're okay.

You and mom hate each other, and...

I don't hate your father.

I don't hate your mother.

And Nat acts like nothing happened.

I got sad.

But I didn't mean to scare you.

Mom's really mad, though.

Yeah, so am I.

We have to know where you are, Abby. You can't just leave and not tell anyone.

I know.

Do you forgive me?

If you promise to never do it again.

I promise.

Abby.

Mom wants to talk to you.

It's me.

You okay?

I think the nightmare's finally over.

What do you mean? What happened?

The blue jacket was Jess'.

Jess k*lled Tom?
