"Dharma Bums"?

It was given to me by someone I loved very much.

Last night, I saw these people... down by the lake.

They were wearing these masks.

Jack Sykes. This belonged to my father.

He was doing the same thing we are.

You should keep your eyes open.

'Cause bear traps aren't the only thing we should be worried about.

k*ll Amy, or someone else will die.

Cricket... always knew when I was feeling down.

Man: You know, it doesn't make sense.

Alex: Cricket loved to overnight. She loved these woods.

She knew where to walk, where not to walk.

She stopped me from stepping in the trap that afternoon.

She was coming to meet me.

Holyoke told me that if I didn't do what he told me to do, that someone else was going to die.

So, what, you're saying that you pissed off a ghost and he k*lled her?

I knew I should have just kept my mouth shut.

What happened to Cricket was an accident.

I just wish there was some way we could find out for sure.

[Grunts]

The camp hasn't been open in six years.

This is a horrible idea.

Cricket is dead and you're turning this into some stupid slumber party game.

It's not a game, it's real.

Look, my... my abuelita was a Santera.

She knew how to talk to the other side, and she taught me.

What do you think you're gonna hear?

I thought... if I could come back, maybe I could... recreate the magic, but... we were... the Dharma Bums... one summer a long time ago, and you have no idea how badly I screwed up.

[Sniffles]

[Laughs]

We're the creepy adults who, like, show up, and the kids are like, "Why are they here?"

The camp's been closed for years.

The one that got flu, like, on the first day of camp, and she was so upset that all the other kids were swimming and running around.

She was stuck in bed.

And you... you stayed with her.

You were playing cards and painting her fingernails, if I remember.

We talked about her parents' divorce.

She ended up having a great time because of you.

I ended up getting the flu. [Chuckles]

Those were days were... the best.

[Growls]

[Gasps]

[Masculine voice] You should have k*lled Amy when you had the chance.

[Straining]

[Ghostly snarl]

Blair: It was Cricket.

We woke something up.

Alex: Yeah, well, it wasn't.

I found a notebook that belonged to my dad.

He was looking into the exact same things that are going on at camp now... satanic rituals... just before he got k*lled.

You mean this is happening he... here?

According to this, they would have buried a lock of hair, a deer heart, and a skull for the ceremony to be complete.

So I went out there and started digging.

Nothing.

Which means they weren't doing this ritual, which means my theories are crap, which means I'm an idiot.

So, why are you out here?

Because you're not an idiot. Something is happening there.

I didn't believe it, but...

Where'd this come from?

[Sighs] We... did a seance tonight.

I passed out, and when I woke up, I was drawing this.

[Sign taps]

What happened to Cricket hurt all of us.

But instead of being here for you, I hid.

And if some of you are thinking... or saying that I'm not doing my job...

I understand that.

But at Camp Stillwater, we look out for each other.

We all have broken hearts.

But maybe trying to talk to the ghost of a person we miss the most isn't the best way to remember them.

If we're looking for Cricket, we don't need to look out there, we need to look inside ourselves.

This summer will always be a special summer, because it is the one that holds the last memories of Cricket.

[Sniffles]

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, too.

[Shovels clangs]

[Gasps] Oh, my God!

[Clanging]

[Hinges creak]

[Gasps]

[Shudders]

Garrett?

Jess, look.

That's where Dave's body was found, right?

Right where it says "1."

And that's where we found Cricket.

That's 3.

What do you think we'll find if we look there?

We're about there.

Yeah.

What the?

It's blood.

Something was buried here.

Or someone.

But whoever did it...

They came back and moved it.

Which means they know we're onto them.

Did they find it?

No.

Someone moved it.

Who?

The same person that's been helping us all along.

Yeah, well, we still don't know who they are.

No, but whoever it is, the teacher says we should thank them... for showing us what a true believer really is.

Garrett: It's number 4.

They're going to k*ll again.
