Amy: Previously, on "Heartland"...

Hey Georgie, any idea why there's a Westfield trailer here?

Your trailer showed up at Heartland to pick up Flame.

Why?

Okay, I can explain.

You're riding him now, is that it?

But somebody needs to jump Flame in the Fall Finale.

You're the one who quit.

You got exactly what you were after.

Not yet.

I want to win this thing.

Georgie, you don't have to give up your dream.

You just need to find the right horse.

Phoenix.

My friend Lainey is the one who made that post about you and Dylan, and it was so not cool, but...

I promise I'm not gonna let anything happen like that ever again, deal?

Thanks for having my back.

That's what friends are for.

I think it's time to solidify this partnership with more than just a handshake.

We all wanna be here.

So let's just do it in a fair way.

[Pages rustle]

[Pen rasps]

[Horses whinny]

Mitch: Come on!

Jack: Hup!

Hup!

Let's go!

Good!

Hup!

Giddyap!

[Horse whinnies]

[Hooves thunder]

Hey!

[Clucks tongue]

Get up there, get up.

Uh uh!

Hup!

Let's go!

Get through there!

Hup!

Get!

Get up there.

Come on!

[Horses snort, whinny]

Move it out.

[Clucks tongue]

Hey, you wanna hear the latest?

Yeah.

What's up?

Our friend Stumpy's out of town.

So he asked Tim to keep an eye on his cows for him.

Tim says sure, no problem.

Then he up and leaves with Casey to one of her rodeos.

So guess who gets stuck with that job?

I'm guessing it's you.

Ah, it's not the first time I've had to pick up a ball that Tim dropped...

you feel like tagging along?

When are you thinking about heading out?

Later on, if that works for you.

Sure.

Yeah.

Count me in.

Hey, do you want a banana?

[Lyndy coos]

Good girl.

Oh!

Bummer.

Wyatt's car broke down in Calgary.

Well, that's too bad.

Yeah, he has to wait for a part to come in.

Yeah?

Oh my!

Ugh!

[Laughs]

Oh!

Here, let me help you.

Yes, thank you so much.

What's all this?

Oh, just a little project I'm gonna work on.

It doesn't look all that little.

Well, I'm uh, gonna make holiday wreaths for all my employees at Fairfield.

Like, from scratch?

Yeah.

I didn't know you were...

crafty.

Yeah, I'm so not.

But I watched a couple of videos online, How hard can it be, right?

I guess.

I think that's Peyton that just drove in.

What's she doing here?

I don't know, let's go find out.

I will be right back, you enjoy your banana.

Thanks, Lisa.

Yeah, yeah, no problem.

All right, look what I have.

I am gonna make very pretty Christmas things.

Georgie: Hey.

Hi.

Is everything okay with Tyson?

Oh yeah, he's great.

That's uh, partly why I dropped by.

For me?

Yeah, it's just a little something to say thank you for helping Tyson out.

And me.

Well, thank you, you didn't have to do this.

And you did pay me.

[Laughs]

Georgie: Wow.

That's beautiful.

Yeah, it is, and it's too much.

Oh please, Tyson and I get a chance to compete because of you.

Well, thank you.

[Phone chimes]

I have a training session at my place.

Do you want to come?

Oh, that'd be awesome, but Amy and I are training here.

Well, it's pretty cold, so if you both wanna come?

Um, I think I could make that work.

Great, it'll be fun to hang out.

Okay, well, I better get Lyndy organized, I'll talk to Grandpa and see if he can give you and Phoenix a ride over.

Okay, awesome, I'll get him.

I'll meet you there.

[Horse whinnies in the distance]

[Sighs]

Mommy has to work with some horsies today, so you're gonna spend some time with Lisa, okay?

Yeah.

Jack: Amy?

Hey.

It's just me.

How'd it go at Westfield?

Oh, I got Georgie and Phoenix there no problem.

It's quite the operation they've got running over there.

Boy, this place...

looks a little crowded to me.

Yes.

I knew that babies came with a lot of stuff, but we are definitely hitting maximum capacity.

Is my Lyndy ready to go?

Almost.

I just wanna change her, but if you don't mind taking this, I'll bring her over on my way.

Thanks, Grandpa.

Yeah.

[Lyndy cries]

[Hooves clop]

[Horses whinny]

[Flame nickers]

Flame.

Whoa, boy.

[Flame snorts]

Well, look who it is.

Good to see you, brown eyes.

S11E16 A Place to Call Home ♪ And at the break of day you sank into your dream ♪ ♪ You dreamer ♪ ♪ Oh, oh, oh, oh ♪ ♪ You dreamer ♪ ♪ You dreamer ♪ What're you doing here?

Peyton invited me.

I thought you were out of town.

Meaning you wouldn'tve come if you knew I'd be here?

I don't really care either way.

Are you sure about that?

Because it sounds to me like you might still be angry about the whole Flame thing.

Can't we move past this?

Whatever.

Just...

be prepared to lose.

Somebody sounds confident.

And isn't this the horse you had on the Hunt Club ride?

Phoenix is an amazing jumper, I think we might just surprise you.

I hope so, I like a good challenge.

Guess I'll see you on the course?

Guess so.

Good luck.

Good boy.

[Hooves clop]

Lisa: Okay...

I normally give my staff a really nice holiday bonus, but I just cannot afford it this year.

But I still want to make sure that they know I appreciate that they stuck with me.

You know what I mean?

Do you think this wreath thing is a dumb idea?

Jack?

Uh no, no I don't, I-I think...

they're probably just happy to still have jobs, Lise.

What are you looking at out there?

[Sighs]

Well, I was just up in the loft.

And...

I don't know how much longer those kids can keep living there.

Well Lyndy, she's growing so fast, She's already crawling, she's gonna be walking before they even know it.

They're pretty much busting at the seams, you know?

Mhmm?

And, so you have something in mind?

[Sighs]

I'm not going to be around forever.

We all know that.

So I wanna give those kids a parcel of land now.

And that way they can think about building something if they want to...

Have anything to do with the Tim health scare?

Yeah, probably.

I just don't want to just leave my land in my will, I-I want people to enjoy it, to be able to use it when they really need it.

It'd be nice if I was still around to see that.

I think it's a terrific idea.

I do.

I've got a beautiful spot picked out for Amy and Ty.

Do you?

And Lou?

Well, I already gave Lou the land for the dude ranch.

But when the time comes I'll have a few acres for Georgie, and Katie, if they want.

You will.

Well, 'cause you are a very thoughtful man, Jack Bartlett, you really are.

[Chuckles]

[Hooves clop]

I saw Dylan over here.

Sorry, I didn't think he'd be back so soon.

Oh, it's okay, I was gonna have to face him sooner or later.

Oh, don't worry, about it.

We'll just make a point to ignore him and have fun anyway.

Works for me.

Ready?

Oh, I-I don't like having my picture taken.

Oh, come on.

[Sighs] I'm going to post it on "Equestrian Gossip" No way!

That site's awful.

I don't look at it anymore.

Not since it posted all those lies about me.

Yeah, it can get pretty trashy, and...

Lainy was kind of a jerk, but the site's not all bad.

You'll see, soon enough, people will forget about all those lies.

What do you think?

Uh, you're doing this right here?

I just-I know it's a lovely sentiment.

But?

Well, how long do you think it's going to take to, you know, to make all these?

Well, I have no idea.

I have I think fifteen or so to do, why?

Well, I'm just wondering where we might be having dinner.

Well, your routine might be slightly disrupted for a day or two, but it shouldn't take more than that.

Oh!

Oh, here they are!

Hi!

Oh wow.

Hi.

I know, isn't it great?

It's uh, crafty.

Yeah.

Thank you so much for watching her.

Yes, of course, of course, hello my, darling!

There you go, Sweetheart!

And make sure that she doesn't get a hold of these, okay?

No!

No, no, no, no, of course, yeah.

Okay, I should get going, you be good.

Amy, do you have a minute?

I'd like to show you something.

Yeah.

Bye!

Grandpa, what are we doing here?

Well, I know how much you love this place.

I do.

That view is incredible.

Well...

It's yours.

Mine?

What-what do you mean?

Yours and Ty's.

And the baby's.

I'm gifting this piece of land to you.

Grandpa, are you okay?

Never been better, why?

Oh...

oh.

No, no, no.

I plan on sticking around for a long time yet.

No, it just seems to me that you're gonna outgrow that loft sooner than later, and...

well, I thought maybe you and Ty might wanna start thinking about building a place of your own.

[Happy exhale]

Yeah, thank you!

[Chuckles]

That's really generous.

Yeah, we like to challenge the horses during practice, so we raise them a bit.

It's already got a ton of likes.

Even Dylan liked it.

Jack: Well, she was surprised, but...

[Chuckles]

I think she liked it!

Oh!

Arghhh!

This...

Is there something that you're not telling me again?

Well, I'm getting audited.

Audited?

Yes, on top of everything else!

It's going to be fine, I don't have anything to hide, All my business expenses are for real, and...

So how long have you been sittin' on this?

I got the letter last week.

And what are you doing about it?

Well, I'm carrying it around in my purse.

I'm gonna do something about it, I am, I just, I haven't yet.

[Groans]

So that's what all this wreath business is about.

Lisa, you can't throw yourself into something like this just to avoid that!

I need to do something nice for my employees.

We've had a rough year!

No, I get that, but...

[Sighs]

I know.

But do you realize how much documentation, and all these receipts I have to go through, and get ready, and send it off to the accountant, it's just...

So, what's stopping you?

Well...

[Sighs]

I can't do it at Fairfield, there's too many prying eyes.

Well then, set up an office here.

And if you want this dining room table back...

Just bring all your stuff over from Fairfield, and take over one of the bedrooms, get organized, and just get down to business.

I know it wasn't easy.

Ah, it was the right thing to do.

Oh...

no.

Oh, hey.

We gotta...

[Panicked moo]

It's okay.

Shh!

Shh!

Shh!

No.

No, we need to get some milk in him.

He can't even stand.

Leave it to Stumpy to have his old nurse cow calving in the fall, I wonder if he even knows.

It's goin' below zero tonight.

Yeah, it's gettin' cold.

What do you think, hypothermia?

Yeah, good chance.

You know, we passed that range cabin back there, what do you say we get him inside, maybe we can warm him up.

Yeah, it's worth a sh*t.

Okay...

come here, buddy.

[Sighs]

[Phoenix snorts]

It's a strain.

How bad is it?

It's hard to say, there's a lot of inflammation.

So, what are we looking at?

Stall rest, and massage?

Yep.

And I have something else that'll speed his recovery.

[Sighs]

[Sighs heavily]

[Cows moo]

[Footsteps thud]

Here.

Ah!

Throw that on him, it might help a bit.

Thanks.

See if I can't get a fire goin' here.

[Logs clatter]

So...

you've been kinda quiet today, you got somethin' on your mind?

Oh...

[Groans]

You know, I...

Well, you know, Jack, I thought this partnership was the answer.

It got me out of the office, and those boardrooms.

But it's not.

At least...

it's not entirely.

Oh?

Don't get me wrong.

I mean, these last few months have shown me just how much I love the ranching life, but...

I just, I feel like I should have more figured out by now.

Like what?

My goals.

My life.

What I'm even doing with it.

I get that.

But keep in mind that...

that life only happens one day at a time.

Yeah.

You know, this guy would be doing so much better if we could just get some food in him.

Well, why don't we see if we can milk that cow, and...

try to get him to have some.

[Grunts, pot clanks]

That's a good idea.

Okay.

[Ice cubes rattle]

This ice boot should do the trick.

It'll increase the circulation, and reduce his pain.

Easy boy, it's okay.

How long should we keep the boot on for?

20 minute intervals, as often as you can.

All right.

Okay.

Good boy!

I'll come back and check on him tomorrow.

Thanks, Scott.

I'll walk you out.

I can't believe this happened.

[Phoenix grunts]

It's all right.

[Sighs]

It's gonna be okay.

Lyndy's still sleeping so soundly.

Oh, good.

What's all that?

Oh, I just put some snacks together for you and Georgie if you get hungry, because I know for sure she's not gonna be leaving Phoenix's side.

Uh, you're right about that.

She insists on sticking to Scott's schedule.

But not all night, right?

Well, as long as she can.

How's that going?

Yeah, don't even ask.

It's just taking so much longer than I thought.

That good, huh?

You sure you're okay to look after Lyndy?

No, no, no, I've got her.

I've got her.

And I'm gonna move all of that stuff out of there, you know how your grandfather likes to make sure we can all sit down and have a nice dinner, and...

oh!

Yeah, he told me to uh, find another place in the house to set up camp.

Yeah.

Well, that's-that's probably a good idea, you should do that.

Thanks.

[Cow huffs]

That's it.

Good girl.

[Milk squirts]

Stumpy's had this old girl for a lot of years.

Yeah, my dad had one of these little nurse cows, too.

[Loud moo]

Okay!

All right.

Should be enough.

Good girl.

[Cow moos]

[Sighs]

It's okay.

I'm sorry.

[Cell phone chimes]

[Approaching footsteps thud]

Is everything okay?

Yeah...

It's Wyatt.

This part for his car hasn't come in yet, so he's stuck in Calgary.

He's staying with some friends.

I put some comfrey in Phoenix's food.

It should help reduce the pain and the inflammation.

Thanks.

[Latch clanks]

As soon as he's finished, I'm gonna get that ice boot back on him.

Maybe I shouldn'tve forced him to do those higher jumps.

Maybe he wasn't ready.

You know that's not true.

This whole Fall Finale has become a horrible, competitive thing, and I let Dylan get in my head.

I understand why you feel bad about what happened.

But Georgie, there was nothing wrong with trying those jumps.

Okay?

It's not your fault.

And Georgie...

for the record, there's also nothing wrong with being a fierce competitor.

That's one of the things I admire most about you.

[Sighs]

[Fire crackles]

I know this is none of my business, but...

what brought this on all of the sudden?

This self-doubt stuff?

[Sighs]

I guess when I started seeing what Tim was going through, I just...

I didn't wanna waste any more time.

You know?

Yeah, I do.

Truth is, everyone's days are numbered, and it's probably a good idea to keep that in mind.

You know, from where I'm standing, you've still got plenty of time to figure things out.

You'll get where you wanna go.

Well, right now I'd be happy if we could just...

figure this little calf out.

[Groans]

Come on, buddy.

[Calf grunts]

Is he taking it?

And the inside of his mouth is cold.

That's not a good sign.

[Lyndy coos]

Word to the wise, Missy, don't ever get audited.

It's awful.

Okay...

Uh...

What is going on in here?

Oh.

Yes.

Mhmm.

You're not making wreaths anymore?

No, I will get to those eventually.

I really have to do something nice for my employees.

But uh...

I am-I have a very pressing business issue that I need to address, and quite frankly, I was doing the wreaths to avoid doing all of this.

So I'm gonna be drowning in paperwork for quite some time.

And I have been trying to figure out where I could make an office at Heartland for a while, so this is it.

So you're turning my room into your office.

Well, I did-I didn't think you were using it.

Did grandpa say that you could move in here, like, like permanently?

No, not exactly.

But I'm-what-what's the issue, Honey?

I guess I just always thought that this would be...

Lyndy's nursery, you know, when we were here.

And...

she can't sleep in the playpen forever, so I thought that we'd maybe put a crib in here.

Sure.

I just, I'm sorry, I didn't realize.

I had no idea.

But I just, I need somewhere to spread out, and do my work, so...

We'll talk about it later.

She's-she's tired, I should put her to bed.

Okay, I packed her things.

It's all in the bag.

Okay, thanks for watching her, Lisa.

Yeah.

[Lyndy coos]

[Papers rustle]

[Sighs heavily]

[Birds chirp]

[Sighs]

Hey.

[Lyndy coos]

Hey, bedtime?

Yeah, she's getting' tired.

Dylan: Hello?

Hey, Dylan.

Hi.

You okay?

Okay, we should get you to bed.

[Footsteps thud]

Here to gloat?

I'm here to help.

What can I do?

Yeah, it's not looking good for the little guy.

We're gonna stay with him, and do what we can, so...

don't expect me home anytime soon.

Okay.

Yeah.

Love you, too.

You know, you don't have to stick around.

I-I can handle this.

Besides, you've got somebody to go home to.

Oh, well, I know how hard it is to get a healthy calf to drink from a bucket, I'll stick it out with you.

What do you got there?

Honey.

My dad did something like this with a calf that wasn't eating.

Only, he used white chocolate.

There we go.

Come on...

[Slurping, smacking]

[Milk splashes]

Come on...

keep going.

That's it.

That's it.

That's a good trick.

Yeah.

[Laughs]

[Slurping]

[Phoenix groans]

Dylan: Easy, boy.

[Cell phone chimes]

[Dylan sighs]

That the boyfriend?

How'd you know I had a boyfriend?

Peyton told me.

So why isn't he here, anyway?

Wyatt's stuck in Calgary, otherwise he would be here.

Wyatt.

Right.

What I don't get is what you're doing here.

Well, why is it so hard to believe that I was worried about Phoenix?

And you?

Look, I know what you're going through.

I've been there with Arrow.

And it sucks.

And I was kind of hoping you can keep competing, because I'd like to get to know you better.

[Sighs]

So this talk about mortality, and goals, and your life...

could this happen to be about someone who's not in it at the moment?

I have been wondering how she is.

Well, I'm not sure, to be honest with you.

She's always busy.

That's my Lou.

Her franchise seems to be coming along, I just hope she's happy.

Me too.

[Calf grunts]

Now, you know...

that I've made a point to stay out of this, but...

well, it kinda looked like things were coming together for a minute there, you and her.

[Sighs]

Yeah.

A New York minute, as it turns out.

[Chuckles]

I guess things could've gone a different direction.

But...

they didn't, so.

Yeah.

Well...

I'm not gonna pretend I know the details of everything that went on between you two, but I will say this...

you don't strike me as the kind of guy who gives up on something that still has a chance.

[Fire crackles]

How's our friend doing there?

He's better.

But he's gonna have to stand and nurse, and I doubt that's gonna happen unless I can get him to go to the milk.

[Sighs]

Thanks for helping out, but uh, it's getting late, you don't have to stay.

Well, I have nowhere better to be.

Plus, I need to keep an eye on my biggest rival.

You know what, there's a good chance that's old news.

Look, I kind of acted like a jerk when I cleared those jumps.

I was just trying to show off to impress you.

You and Flame looked amazing.

I'm not proud of it, but I was jealous, and I wanted to show you, and to show everyone that we could make that height, too.

So I...

I pushed Phoenix to try them.

And...

he got hurt.

[Phoenix nickers]

[Georgie sighs]

He means everything to me.

What if he's not okay?

[Clears throat]

[Sighs]

Mitch: There you go, come on.

Yeah, good boy.

Come on.

That's it.

That's it!

Jack!

Jack!

Look at this!

[Gasps]

Good boy!

Well!

Good for him!

[Calf slurps]

Yeah, he knows what he wants now.

Yeah.

Okay, well, what do you say we get him to his mother, and see if he can start nursing?

[Laughs]

Huh?

Let's do it.

Oh!

[Groans]

Okay...

get up, buddy.

You can do it.

[Calf moos]

Yep!

Ah!

There you go!

Okay...

here you go.

Come on.

Come on, get some strength.

[Chuckles]

All right.

Did you know, Missy, that your G.G., [Babbles]

yeah, was up all night?

Saving a sick calf.

And, do you know what else?

Your Mommy and Georgie were up all night too, making sure that Phoenix gets better as soon as possible.

Pretty incredible people, huh?

Look at that.

You are one very, very lucky lady, did you know that?

And you know why?

Because you come from a long line of very resilient people.

You do, yeah.

Generations of them that grew up right here on this ranch.

And you know how they did it?

By pulling together.

Now that's not to say we always get along, or agree on everything, 'cause we don't.

That's normal, it really is.

The point is, at the end of the day, we're there for each other, and that's the important thing.

Yeah.

And I need to remember that.

[Sighs]

Scott: Good boy.

Well, you've done a great job.

There's already a big improvement.

I'd say he's gonna make a full recovery.

I think he's ready for some gentle exercise.

Okay, how about some hand walking?

Sounds about right.

That's really great news.

I'm happy for you.

Thanks for staying, it um...

meant a lot.

It was no big deal.

I'm just glad it all worked out.

But don't think this means I'll be taking it easy on you.

I'm still planning on winning the Fall Finale.

[Sighs]

Not if Phoenix and I have anything to say about it.

[Small laugh]

Guess I'll be seeing you around.

[Sighs]

Go on, yeah.

[Calf moos]

There you go.

There you go!

All right!

[Laughs]

Yeah...

Yeah, he was hungry, all right.

Yeah...

Well, he's gonna get a belly full now.

[Both chuckle]

Good on you.

Thanks.

[Box rasps]

[Cell phone chimes]

Hey, how'd it go with Scott?

Uh good, he thinks Phoenix is gonna make a full recovery.

Oh, terrific, I'm sure Georgie's thrilled about that.

Listen, um, I'm glad you came in, she's been down for an hour, I have an errand to run, so I'll be back in a little bit, and I'll get rid of all this when I do.

Oh okay, Lisa, but what about the gifts for your staff?

Oh just, I have...

just far too much business to do, and so I'm throwing the towel in on the wreaths.

It was stupid.

About yesterday, I...

No, no, I'm sorry, I overstepped.

And I should've asked first.

But the room's cleared out, and um, it's all yours again.

No, I feel awful.

I overreacted, you do so much for us, and...

I'm sorry.

I don't want you to have to give up on your wreaths.

You know what, believe me, it's for the best, and it has nothing to do with you.

You're sure?

Yes.

And um...

I don't have a creative bone in my body.

Clearly, so I don't know what I was thinking.

[Clears throat]

[Door opens, slams shut]

[Birds chirp, horse snorts]

Mitch: Oh, so I'll ride up a little bit later, and check on that calf.

After I get home, and get a bit of shut eye, and take a nice, long, hot shower.

[Laughs]

You know, I don't know which one's gonna come first.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I could eat for three.

[Guffaws]

You know, Stumpy's a lucky guy, you did a hell of a job.

Well, I mean, it felt pretty great to see that calf getting a second chance.

You know, I'd say what happened back there pretty much sums things up.

What do you mean?

Well, that calf got his second chance 'cause he earned it.

Yeah, he hung in there.

Yeah, and so did you.

Good things happen when you refuse to quit.

Well, the trick is, you've got to hang in there, so you can make the most of whatever comes your way.

[Hooves rustle in the foliage]

[Door opens]

Oh, it's you.

You had quite the adventure.

Yes, I did.

Did you see Phoenix out there?

Yeah, he looks real good, considering what he's been through.

Georgie did an amazing job.

She stayed up with him all night.

Well, good for her.

Grandpa, can I talk to you about something?

Okay.

It's about my room.

Ah.

Lisa told you.

Yeah, see, she feels real bad about that whole thing, Amy.

I have to admit, I-I didn't handle it very well.

But it really bothered me going in there, and seeing her just...

taking over.

Yeah, well, you didn't expect it, I guess.

Yeah...

Was there more to it than that?

I love the piece of land that you gave us.

I do.

But...

[Sighs]

I can't help but feel like I'm being pushed away.

[Sighs]

It was pretty presumptuous of Lisa to just go in there, and take over, I mean, she didn't even think to ask!

Okay.

But that was my fault.

I...

I might've encouraged her.

I know that I live in the loft now.

I still think of this as my home.

You know, that's my room, and...

I guess I always thought that...

when we did need more space, we'd just move back in here.

[Laughs]

Amy.

You and your family, you can live wherever you want, for as long as you want, this is your home, it always will be your home.

Now that piece of ground I want you guys to have, it's-it's not about pushing you away, or putting distance between us, or wanting to change your room into something else, it was meant for you and your family to have a place to grow.

But if that happens inside these walls, that's beautiful, too.

Thanks, grandpa.

[Sighs]

And Lisa does need a space of her own, too.

Yes, she does.

[Laughs tearfully]

[Cell phone rings]

[Phone beeps on]

Hey, Peyton.

Hey, I heard about the good news.

Oh yeah, I've got a lot of people to thank.

Yeah um, I was just calling to make sure that you hadn't gone on the gossip site.

No, I haven't.

Good, so, don't, okay?

Why?

What's on there?

Mean comments, just a bunch of lies, don't even worry about it.

Look, I gotta run, but I'll call you later, okay?

Okay...

Bye.

[Keys clack]

[Shrill whinny on video]

Brittney C: Georgie pushed her horse way too far.

Laineydoo: Georgie is the worst.

Daleyo: That chick can't ride.

Randi.

Uhl: So sad to see a beautiful horse treated like that.

Danceralysa: That yokel is totally out of her league.

Ilena.

T: Georgie's the worst!

She'd even hurt her horse to win!

[Overlapping voices]

Voice: Just go away!

Schmedly: Nobody likes you, Georgie.

Just go away.

Voice: Georgie is totally out of her league.

[Slams the screen closed]

[Sighs]

Jack: There will always be a piece of property here for your girls, Lou.

That's right, you never know.

Yeah.

Okay, Honey, bye bye.

What'd she think of the idea?

Well, she liked it.

She thinks that spot that overlooks the south coulee would be perfect for the girls one day, anyway.

Oh good, good.

What's going on in here?

I'll show you.

What?

What do you think?

I mean, I...

did you do that yourself?

That's so good!

Grandpa helped, believe it or not.

Yes, I did.

I did.

You did?

And I know it's not perfect, but it's just the first one, so we'll get better.

It's so good, I love it!

We've got a bit of an assembly line goin' here.

Yeah, we thought that we would tackle this stuff.

While you get down to business.

And I am happy for you to use my room.

For your office, or...

or whatever.

For as long as you like.

Well, what about Lyndy?

She can use Katie's room.

Jack: So, what do you think?

I'm-I-I...

am really grateful, thank you.

Thank you.

And listen.

If you want your room back, just say the word, honestly.

Okay.

You know what?

You guys, these are kinda great.

You know, if you made a few extra ones, we could sell them at the winter fair.

[Grumbles wordlessly]

Absolutely not.

Just an idea.

Nope, not happening.

[Lisa laughs]

Muah!
