[NARRATOR] previously on Queen Sugar.

I'm ready to run
for United States congress.

I don't currently
have the power necessary

to protect the people I love the most.

This isn't about power, but activism.

They terrorized me.

Some of the guys were talking about us

because Isaiah might be gay.

And we all need our people,
and he's one of mine.

You did this sh*t.

You were caught red handed on camera.

You've got no cards to play this time.

The only thing I want is the farm.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Good morning.

Good morning, baby.

How did you sleep?

Pretty good.

You?

There's too much on my mind.

[DARLA] hmm.

[RALPH] I never thought I
see myself leaving this land.

It's in my blood, you know.

I was born here.

And I'd die here too.

Charley says she wants us to
meet her at the city hall later.

Before the lawsuit is setup.

That's good news.

I know things are uncertain right now,

but one thing that I know for sure,

is that wherever we are,

that's exactly
where we're supposed to be.

And nobody,

not even the Landrys can change that.

Our baby girl is coming in a month.

We need to prepare for her
and for her future.

And if that includes
living on this land, so be it.

And if not, we're a family.

And wherever we are,

that's where our home is.

[RALPH] right here?

[DARLA] hmm.

It's going to be fine.
