10x11 - Til Death

Post by bunniefuu »

I heard him say,
"These are my k*lling fields."

Somebody bashed her face in.

He had a vision
that he k*lled me.

It scares the hell out of me.
It scares the hell out of her.

Yeah, it does.

He just really likes fire.

- Well, he screamed a lot.
- So they tortured this poor guy.

How do I know he's not gonna

be hovering over my bed
with a Kn*fe?

He can make people
k*ll themselves

or k*ll other people.

Panic, panic, panic.

My name is Amy Allan.

I'm seeing, like, blood.

The house just feels bad.

I see dead people.

This man
is completely insane.

I speak to dead people...

Whoo. Okay.
She doesn't like it in there.

...and they speak to me.

He likes to twist that Kn*fe.

But there's only one way to know
if my findings are real.

Something paranormal
is trying to k*ll them.

I rely on my partner.

I'm Steve DiSchiavi.

I'm a retired New York City
homicide detective.

Now does he die right there,
on the spot?

I know every person,
every house has secrets.

I think it's trying
to steal my soul.

It's my job to reveal them.

You ever get touched
like that again?

But Steve and I never speak...

We never communicate
during an investigation.

...until the very end.

I'm as stunned as you guys are.

When we uncover if
it's safe for you to stay...

I don't want anything
to happen to my daughter.

Or time to get out.

His goal
is to k*ll you guys.

I'm in Wymore, Nebraska.

It's a small farm town
about an hour south of Lincoln.

I got a call from
a woman named Shannon.

Now she says the activity
in her house

is violent and out of control.

And get this -- she also
thinks whatever's in there

is possessing her husband.

And if we can't help,

she doesn't think her marriage
will survive.

Before Amy arrives,

I clear the house
of any leading information.

Photographs, historical items,

even furniture
can influence her findings,

so it's important I cover
or remove them all.

When I'm finished,

the location will be ready
for tonight's walk.

There's a deceased girl.

Looks to me like somebody
bashed her face in.

I heard there was darkness here.

I heard a male say,
"These are my k*lling fields."

So, Shannon,
when we spoke on the phone,

I can hear in your voice

that you're going
through hell here.

What's going on?

I think there's
something here,

pushing my husband and I
away from each other,

tearing our marriage apart.

My husband's not the same.

Shannon, let me back it up.

Who exactly lives in
the house now?

Keith, my husband, and I.

Now is this you guys
on your wedding day?

- Yeah.
- You make a nice couple.

So how long have you guys
lived in the house?

Almost eight years.

So you've been here a while.

Did the activity start
right away?

Yes, it was, like,
an apparition on the stairs,

and then gradually got worse.

And over the last six months
it's been intolerable.

And you think it's changing
your husband. How?

He's not the man
that I married.

The tone of his voice,
his attitude,

everything about him,
to me, has changed.

We don't speak, we don't
sleep in the same room.

We don't really eat together.

What you're describing to me

sounds like
husband and wife stuff.

What makes you think
what's going on here

has anything to do
with the paranormal?

Something bad
has ahold of him.

Something is there,
attached to him.

He had a dream or a vision
that he k*lled me.

And he told you this?

I mean, his face was blank,
his eyes were dark.

He was just yelling
and screaming,

and he has no recollection
of it at all.

- Why don't you guys just move?
- I stayed for him.

Marriage is hard enough.

Yeah,
but my marriage wasn't.

I've lost my best friend,

and I have nothing.

So most women would just
walk away from this mess,

but the love you have for your
husband sounds pretty deep.

It is.

I don't know
how far it's gonna go,

how much harm
it's gonna cause.

Can it influence him
to k*ll me?

I don't need to state
that I'm afraid of dying.

I'm afraid to be here.

Doesn't feel good
in the kitchen.

I'm seeing an old lady in here.

Something wrong with her,

her esophagus, then she drops.

How'd she die?

More than likely
a heart att*ck.

So would the living have
any experiences with her?

So they might see a woman
in here,

or they might feel the, like,
a throat issue she had.

While she was dying,
she was extremely sad.

The living would experience
sadness in this area.

Okay, so what's
going on in here?

I'll see faces
come around the corner

right there
by that kitchen door.

So you can see a little
old lady, just the head.

Can you tell me what
the old lady's face looked like?

Wrinkly. You can see
her gray hair.

I mean, there's no reflection
from the kitchen

that can do that, can it?
- No.

- Okay, anything else?
- Every once in a while,

you can hear footsteps
going up and down the stairs.

As far as the footsteps go,
how do you know

it's not your husband
or maybe one of the pets?

Usually when I hear
the footsteps, no one's home,

so Keith is usually gone,
the animals are outside.

All right, so you're seeing
faces, you got footsteps.

Anything else?

I went up these stairs.

It felt like something
shoved me in my lower back.

So how hard a shove
are we talking?

Pretty good shove.

Just, just -- okay,
but it feels like a hand?

Yes, so I grab the rail
and hang on to the wall

when I come down
the stairs to this day.

Okay, anything else?

Seen a little girl
on the landing right there,

an apparition of her.
- How old do you think she is?

I'd say between 6 and 8.

You can see through her.

She'll just stand there,
and then just disappear.

She has long hair. She's wearing
a white frilly nightgown.

She hums, she giggles.
I've never seen her face.

Okay, interesting.

I see
two young females up here.

They're sisters.
I don't know age.

Up here, they get more privacy.

Problem is,
they, like, fight all the time,

so I think the living would hear
a lot of yelling and arguing.

They would hear laughing,
crying, stomping around.

So, Shannon, I assume
this is your room.

Yes.
Okay, so what's
going on up here?

The closet opens
and closes by itself.

Mainly, it closes
by itself, like that.

Okay, so this happens while
you're sleeping in bed?

Yes. Recently,
the cr*ck in the door

appeared out of nowhere.

So you didn't
see that happen?

I did not see that
happen at all.

You talk about Keith's rage.

You sure maybe he didn't come
here and bash that door in?

Yes.

One of the girls
from the attic

likes to come into this room.

I saw her in a corner, peeling
old wallpaper off the wall.

I think the living
would hear a scratching,

scratching,
scratching, scratching.

Her fingers are bleeding
from it.

She's in the closet,
sits there and scratches.

She giggles a lot.

All right, so what else
is going on?

I was physically held down
in the bed.

So what did it feel like
to you?

Something on my chest
pushing me down

and just holding me down.

I literally could not gasp
and get air.

- That had to freak you out.
- It was very terrifying.

Okay, and anything else?

I tried to get up
to go to the restroom,

and Keith was standing
in my door.

He wasn't himself.
He wouldn't let me by.

He had no recollection
of nothing.

Now has he pulled
any more crap like that?

Yes, as a matter of fact,
when I'm sleeping,

I get this really eerie
feeling, and I wake up,

and he's standing
on the side of my bed

and just kind of hovering,
looking at me.

Like, just staring at ya?

Yeah, and this is
in the middle of the night.

- That's freaking creepy.
- It is creepy.

That is the only word
I can use to describe it.

That's not him.

Okay, I'm taking
your word for it --

nobody cheated on nobody,
none of this crap?

Nope.
Think something in him
is causing him to do this?

Yes, definitely.

If Amy tells you,
"Listen, you gotta

get the hell outta here,"
what would you do?

If there's no way
to fix this, I want out.

I want to be safe.

I'm seeing this dead guy,

and I think he's a trickster.

And it does bring nightmares.

He'll make a person dream about

somebody that
they're friends with,

and that person's hurting them,
turning on them,

trying to instill paranoia
or distrust.

There's a lot of physical stuff
going on.

Person in here
is the one being strangled...

...smothered, held down.

So, Keith, I was talking
to your wife earlier.

She's convinced that whatever's
in the house has changed you.

- Do you agree with that at all?
- Yes, absolutely.

Now she also told me that
you have these episodes

where you kind of black out
and scare her pretty bad,

and then don't remember it?

Yes, I don't know what
I'm doing when that happens.

I don't. I have no idea.

So are you taking
any medication

or anything like that,
that would cause any of this?

Ibuprofen is
the only thing I take.

I would never
intentionally hurt my wife.

- You know, I love her so much.
- Right.

Wouldn't happen. She's my
best friend and my soul mate.

All I want
is to make it work,

but it's bad enough
I don't know if I can.

Well, this is the first step --
figuring out what the hell's

going on in this house.
- Yep.

What about experiences?
Have you had anything?

A lot of banging noises.

It sounds like a large shelf
full of tools

falls on the floor
and just crashes.

So I know you guys
got dogs and cats.

You sure they're not running
around out here making noises?

Yeah, they're not
allowed out here.

- Okay, anything else?
- Yeah, I'll see black mists.

They just form and then
follow me around here.

And you can't
see through it.

And then it dissipates
and is gone.

I mean, you got a wood-burning
stove here, right?

I see 'em winter and summer.
I don't use this in the summer.

Okay, any problems
with the electric?

- Nope.
- That's strange.

Anything else?

Stuff goes missing
out here all the time.

- Out of the garage?
- Yes.

- Like what?
- Nuts, bolts,

car parts, tools.

Shannon playing games
with you?

Nope.
I've asked her, you know,

if she was out here
and moved something.

- That's gotta drive you insane.
- It does.

I want this thing gone.
I want it driven out.

I'll find some way
to get rid of this.

I feel it.
I feel that fear.

That trickster guy
does come in this area.

He does move things out here.

Would the living be
affected by this?

I think that they would
experience things going missing

and also hearing noises,
banging,

things like that out here.

The other thing is, somebody is
seeing a black streak thing,

which I think is him.

This trickster thing is here.

The energy is always
very hyper down here.

He was psychotic
or schizophrenic.

I'm trying to find out.

He's crawling along the ceiling,
but then he, like, fades,

so I think the living would
see shadow people down here.

He'll growl, like a dog,
to get people out of here.

So what's going on
down here?

Growling.

What kind of growling
we talking about?

Something that
I've never heard before,

not animal, not human.
- I know you got dogs,

but they don't sound
like that, do they?

No, and they're outside.

- Had you ever heard it again?
- No.

- All right, anything else?
- I've been physically att*cked.

What happened?

I was in the process
of getting out of bed.

Something rushed up the stairs,
knocked me back into bed,

and it just hit me
several times.

- What was it?
- It was a black mass.

Long, very long, muscular arms,
kinda long, stringy black hair.

I couldn't really see a face.

Now were you ever able
to stop the att*ck?

Two or three minutes in,

I was finally able
to move my right arm.

I swung through,
and it just dissipated.

Did this ever happen again?

Not that, but I got woke up
being dragged out of bed,

down the stairs, and thrown
on the living room floor.

This is something you see

in one of these
freaking horror movies.

- Exactly.
- After what you just described,

I'm afraid to ask
if there's anything else.

One of
the biggest things, um,

I have an issue with
is mood swings.

So this is part of
the personality change

we talked about before?
- Yes.

Okay, so describe for me how it
feels when these things happen.

Normally, I can
feel it coming on.

It escalates very quickly.

When you say mood changes,
what do you mean?

Sometimes anger,
sometimes extreme depression.

It's like something flips
a switch, and you have to fight

to get back out of it.

That scares the hell
out of me.

Scares the hell out of her.

Yeah. Yeah, it does.

You know, and that makes me
feel this big.

I can imagine.
Why do you wanna stay?

I don't have anywhere
where I can go.

I'm -- I'm backed into
a corner here.

She's afraid of you, though.

I know.
It's -- it's hard to take.

I don't know what to do.

I know. I know, it's tough.

It's obvious you love her.

It's all right. We're gonna
try to make it better.

This trickster, there's
been a lot of people here

who've been like him --

crazy, schizo,
psycho, depressed.

That's why I'm asking him,
"Are you, like, somehow

drawing mentally ill people
to you?"

If there are
mentally ill people,

he can then influence them,

so it's not good for people
to live here.

There's something wrong with
the living person in here.

I can't put my finger on it.

I think that they're unstable,
they're mentally ill.

I feel like the person in here
is the one

being strangled,
smothered, held down.

They're having
all these experiences.

Do you have any idea why
this person in particular

is having these experience?

The illness takes over.

- Because of him.
- Yes.

What would happen to this person
to continue to be here

and be influenced
by this guy?

Well, according to
the trickster crazy guy,

he can make people k*ll
themselves or k*ll other people.

You know, Wymore is a tiny city,
not even 1,500 people.

So when I made my calls,

everyone knew
Shannon and Keith's house.

I'm on my way to meet
with a local genealogist

who says the original owners
of the property

suffered from the moment
they set foot on the land.

Well, Phyllis, I appreciate you
helping me out with this case.

Now on the phone you mentioned
the family suffered a lot

on my clients' property.

But before we get
to all that,

who were they
and when did they get here?

The first owner of
your clients' property

was John D. Shock.
- Okay.

He came from
northern Ohio in 1868.

In 1869, he bought
165 acres of land

that included
your clients' property.

What happened next?

Within five years
he married a woman,

Susan Staveley, and they
eventually had six children.

All right, so they're
on my clients' property,

they started a family.

When did
the suffering start?

In 1878,
their middle daughter, Sarah,

came down with scarlet fever

and d*ed within
just a couple days.

Okay, so how old
was she at the time?

2 years old.

And then four days later
her older brother was 4,

and he came down
with the same thing,

scarlet fever, and he d*ed.

So within a week,
they buried two children.

You're kidding? Within one week?
What happened next?

They moved to the nearby town
of Blue Springs,

which is just about
a mile away.

- Okay.
- So didn't move far,

but that's where where
they lost two more children.

What happened?

Well, in 1883,
Shock's 6-year-old daughter,

Ida Mae,
she d*ed mysteriously.

Okay, do we know why?

No, the death records are
real sketchy back then,

and so we couldn't find
a cause of death.

All right, so now we got
three that are dead.

- What about the fourth?
- Well, in 1889,

their 9-month-old baby,
George, he d*ed.

All right, so do we know
how George d*ed?

At that time, there was
a lot of diphtheria

in the area
affecting small children.

So the original owners
of my clients' property

lost two girls
and two boys from disease.

And, I mean, that's a lot
for one family to go through.

Yeah, it is, and especially
at such a young age.

They're buried in a cemetery

that's not far from
your clients' property.

I'm seeing
those two young sisters again.

One of them got sick and d*ed.

I don't know what
happened to the other one.

Any idea when they're from?

I'm hearing 1930s.
Maybe this is earlier.

I wanna see if they actually
go about the house.

One of the sisters is in here.

Can you describe her?

She has fine brown hair, bangs.

She's wearing a yellow dress,
and I got the name Sue,

and I think she's insane.

She was unstable
when she was alive.

Do you know if she has
any kind of connection

to the property?

I think she lived here.

And she d*ed here
from an illness.

So far, I've got
a client who believes

her husband's possessed,
on a property

where one of the original owners
lost four young children.

But I wanna see if
there's anything else.

Searching through old records,
I find that

Shannon and Keith's house
used to be a funeral home.

Turns out, morticians prepared
dead bodies right on site.

I'm headed over to
meet a local historian

who says Shannon's house

was like Grand Central Station
for dead bodies.

Well, Laureen, I want to
thank you for meeting with me.

- I appreciate that.
- My pleasure.

I know a guy used to
use my clients' property

to run a funeral home.
- Yes.

What do you know about
this guy?

Actually, we have
two undertakers

that lived in that house
over the years.

Okay, so tell me
about the first guy.

Well, the first person
that owned it

was this man,
Thomas F. Houston.

He bought it in 1906.

He owned the mortuary
in downtown Wymore,

but in 1914,
there was a huge fire...

...and that fire destroyed
his business downtown.

Anybody die in this fire?

People were injured,
but no one d*ed.

All right,
so what happens next?

He moved all of his business
to his home.

Okay, so Houston is now
running his funeral home

out of my clients' house.

- How long did he do that for?
- Least a year.

In an average, how many people
would have d*ed within a year?

Easily, he could
be handling more than

a couple hundred deaths a year.
- Wow.

Now who was
the second mortician?

Well, Houston sells it
in 1917 to the next owner

of both the business
and the property.

That's Edward Miller.

Part of the time when
Mr. Miller owned the mortuary,

he also owned
a furniture store.

Explain to me why a mortician
would have a furniture business.

The people who made
the furniture

also made the coffins.

I'm seeing 12 coffins,

and they all have crosses
or crucifixes on them, okay?

So religion involved.

They're nice wood coffins,
not cheap.

Interesting thing about
the coffins

is that they're not buried.

What does that mean?

I'm thinking it's just
the deaths associated

with this property.

So every single investigation
I do with Amy,

I call the local cops,

and this time, it's paid off.

I'm driving over to meet
a retired police chief

who says there was
a bizarre case

near Shannon and Keith's house.

It started as a robbery
and ended in t*rture and m*rder.

Well, Rick, I appreciate you
helping me out with this case.

So what can you tell me
about this homicide?

A 71-year-old bachelor
named David Jones

was m*rder*d in his home.

All right, what do
we know about David?

Mr. Jones was
a very successful farmer,

and apparently,
rumors were that he kept

a lot of his money in cash
in his house.

All right, so I can see
where this is going.

So this guy's got cash,
he's elderly.

Correct, and on
March 18th of 1897,

these two gentlemen with masks
on broke into his house.

They told him
they wanted his cash.

- So did they get any cash?
- No.

What they did was
they ended up tying Mr. Jones

to the bed, and bound him,
and eventually they took

some old rags,
soaked them in coal oil,

and wrapped them around his
feet, and then set it on fire.

So they lit this guy
on fire?

Yes.
Well he screamed a lot,

but he still claimed he didn't
have money in the house.

So they put some soaked clothing
on his stomach

and lit that on fire.

All right, so they tortured
this poor guy.

Yes, they did.
And finally, what they ended up

doing was putting
a rag around his neck

and setting that on fire.

And then they left him
for dead.

And this is an article
about Davy Jones' death.

And this is pretty vicious.

Yes it is, it's the most
horrendous kind of a case

I've ever even heard of.

All right, so, Rick, was
anybody arrested and charged?

Actually, there were several
people arrested and charged,

and they all had alibis,
and finally a detective

in Lincoln, Nebraska,
about five years later,

got information about a subject
by the name of Fred Holds,

who was in a mental hospital
in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This is an article about
the initial arrest.

A detective interviewed him.
He confessed to the m*rder.

He gets arrested and charged,
and eventually he was released

because even doctors testified
that he wasn't mentally sane.

All right, so it's still
an open case?
It's still an open case.

I am seeing
that trickster dude.

Do you know
when he's from?

1800s. I'd say 60s, 70s...

maybe into the 80s?

Before there were houses here,
for sure.

So do you get anything
on who he was in life?

Well, apparently he liked
to set things on fire.

I think he b*rned
some important things.

I think he just
really likes fire.

I see him starting fires.

I think he k*lled somebody.

Okay, so is he causing
all the deaths?

A g*n, and then he's just
showing me this m*rder.

I think he feels like
he assisted in that situation.

How?

By influencing
a guy who was crazy.

Would the living
be affected by this?

He could influence them
to the point

where they might
commit homicide or su1c1de.

I saw a lot of dead people
during my walk,

but two stood out.

First, the young sister

who was scratching the walls
of the house.

Both hands,
they were bleeding.

Her face is really damaged.

One of her eyes is, like,
hanging out.

There's no lips left.

Next, I described
the trickster

strangling the living person
in the upstairs bedroom.

And this thing
was easily 7-feet tall.

And it was kinda in the wall,
and out of the wall.

The eyes, the were
squiggly black lines

that just kept moving.

Amy, is that what you saw?

Yes.

Now that Amy and I have
completed our investigations,

we're ready to reveal
our findings to each other

and our clients
for the first time.

So, Amy, I'd like you to meet
Shannon and her husband Keith.

Both of them say they had
a very happy marriage.

Here's a photo of them
in a lot happier times.

But because of the violent
paranormal activity

in this house,
their relationship
is hanging on a thread.

Now Shannon doesn't think
it's safe here,

and if you can't find a way
to fix it she's leaving,

with or without Keith.

So now that Amy knows
a little bit about you guys,

I'm gonna ask her
to describe her work for us.

Something I came across
in this room was really bizarre,

and what I saw was
12 coffins.

They were like a nice wood.

They all had crosses on them.

The weird thing was,
none of them were buried.

That made me believe
they were deaths

that were related
to this location.

Since we moved in,
I felt like there was a body

buried on this property.

I think I have an idea
what you might have seen.

Two different morticians
actually lived on the property

over a 40-year span.
- Wow.

First one was
a guy named Thomas Houston.

He bought the property in 1906.

Now he had a formal office
down in Wymore, in downtown.

But in 1914,
there was a massive fire.

The fire destroyed
most of downtown,

including Houston's business.

Pretty bad damage.

Fortunately,
there was no fatalities.

Houston set up shop after
the fire on this property,

and we know he worked here
for at least a year.

So the expert I spoke to
said that Houston

probably dealt with
up to about 250 dead bodies

during that one year.

Houston sold the property
in 1917 to another undertaker.

His name was Edward Miller.

In addition to running
a funeral home in town,

Miller also ran
a furniture business,

so it's pretty likely that
Miller was building coffins

for all the dead people,
preparing them for burial.

So do you think that could be
why you saw all these coffins?

Yes.

The next thing that
I got was two sisters.

Now these two are
active here.

What I felt was that they
lived here at some point,

maybe in the 1920s or 30s.

They looked pretty young,
between 11 and 16 years of age.

And one of them,
she doesn't look too good.

Got the name Sue with her.

She has damage on her head,
a little bit on her face.

So I think the girl
got sick and d*ed here.

Not a lot to go on,
but a couple of things you said

made me think
of the original owners.

The original owner
is a guy named John Schott

that built this property
in 1869.

You mentioned the name Sue.
Schott's wife's name was Susan.

Okay.

Now the two of them
had six kids --

three boys and three girls.

In 1878,
their 2-year-old daughter Sarah

came down with scarlet fever.

She d*ed from the illness

within a couple of days
after she got it.

To make matters worse, Schott's
son d*ed of the same disease

three or four days later.

The family wind up moving
to a town called Blue Springs,

which is about a mile from here.

That's when they lost another
daughter named Ida May,

who was 6 years old at the time,

but the death record doesn't
show what she d*ed of.

We can assume it was an illness.

Interesting.

Now you said these sisters
are active.

- What do these kids do?
- They're up in the attic.

That's where they're
the most active,

yelling at each other,
fighting,

so I think that
the living would hear

yelling, screaming,
stomping around up there.

Shannon, you told me about
a little girl

you saw up here on the landing.

She was, like,
between 6 and 8...
Okay.

...and wore a white flow-y,
like, nightgown,

and she just appears
on occasion

and hums and giggles.

One in particular likes
the large bedroom.

I saw her in the corner,

peeling old wallpaper
off the wall.

She was in the closet.

She sits there and scratches.

The closet,
it opens by itself.

It slams shut by itself.

And now it's cracked.

Could all this stuff be
from the two little girls,

or the one girl, at least?
- Yes.

I had a sketch done
of what I saw.

Okay.

That's creepy.

Wow.

You can hear that
in my closet.

I mean, it just sounds like

someone taking their nails
down a chalkboard.

She was just showing me
that to the point

where her bones are
coming out of her fingers.

Scares the hell out of me.

So the person I am the most
concerned with is a dead male.

He's extremely powerful

and has the ability to
take on different images,

so he's behaving like
a trickster and he's been

affecting and influencing
living people here

for a very very long time.

I got that he lived on this land
before there were any houses.

I think that he was
either psychotic

or a sociopath,
or possibly schizophrenic.

When he was alive,
he was a pyromaniac.

He would
set things on fire.

He actually did
k*ll someone.

So, Amy, couple of things
you mentioned

reminds me of a homicide
that was pretty brutal

that I came across during
my research.

Back in 1897,

a 71-year-old farmer
by the name of David Jones

was basically
att*cked in his home

not far from where
this house is.

A couple of guys wearing masks

broke into the guy's house,
looking for money.

Now what they did do to him

was set him on fire
three different times.

They wrapped rags in oil,

first around his feet,
lit it on fire.

Then they put it on his
stomach and lit that on fire.

Then they wrapped it around
his neck and lit that on fire.

Even after all that,

Jones never told them
where the money was,

and they left him for dead.

There was a big article
on it here. Poor guy.

You mentioned about
the crazy guy.

It was a guy that
the cops locked up

who was in an insane asylum,

and he actually confessed
to the m*rder.

The doctors said he was
too insane to make a confession

so they just said, "All right,
you gotta let him go."

So the m*rder charges
were dropped.

To this day,
the m*rder is still unsolved.

Holy...

You said
you were worried about him.

What does this guy do?

There's quite a few ways that
you would experience him.

First thing is that
he always has

an excessive amount
of energy.

He can actually
move things physically.

I'll be working on a car.
I know where all my tools are.

I go in, come out the next day,
my tools are gone.

Okay. He is capable
of making a lot of noise,

like crashes and bangs.

One of the other things
that he does

is sometimes he'll growl,

and I heard it specifically
in the basement.

Keith and I spoke about that.
Tell her what you heard.

I've heard it
a couple of times.

It's not an animal.
It's not human.

I mean, it sounds like if you
cross a cougar with a bear.

I believe if you see him you'd
probably see black streaks,

like just a streak of black.
You know what I'm saying?

And then possibly as
a shadow figure.

You told me about mist
that you see.

I've seen black mists,

anywhere between
like a softball size

to little bit bigger
than a basketball,

and then
they'll just dissipate.

The other thing he likes
to do is cause nightmares,

and those nightmares are
to make you become paranoid

of somebody you care about

and to try to get you
to turn on that person.

You know, Amy,
Shannon told me

about a disturbing dream
Keith had.

He said I had left him
for my ex-husband,

and he k*lled me.

I woke up to him just getting
out of bed as fast as he could

to run to the bathroom because
he had to look in the mirror

because he told me
he could taste my blood.

Do you remember that nightmare?

110%, like it happened,
like I did it.

That's how vivid it was.

I've never had a nightmare
that vivid in my life.

Okay, so now all this stuff
that we're talking about,

is that all this trickster guy?
- Yeah.

And what I saw specifically

was him strangling
somebody upstairs.

I did have a sketch done
of what I saw.

You're not gonna like this.

That's our room.

That's me.

You know, Amy,

Shannon's felt like she was
held down in her bed.

I was completely compressed
in the bed.

It was to the point
of almost being unconscious.

Wow.

You told me something
that happened to you

that, like,
right out of a movie.

I started to get up
out of bed.

A big black shadow runs up,
tackled me back into the bed,

and just started swinging.

b*at hell out of me in bed.

Two, three weeks later,

I'm getting dragged down
both flights of stairs

and pretty much getting thrown,
like, right where this table is.

So is this all this guy?

Yeah.

He is a mad man.

He takes any weakness you
might have and he exploits it.

And then, if you're
mentally unstable

in any way, shape, or form,
he can jump you

and kind of take over
your mind,

which can change your
mood and your behaviors.

So his ultimate goal,
I felt,

was for him to affect people
to either harm themselves

or better yet,
harm another person or people

and then themselves.

Shannon, I think it's best
you tell Amy

about what you think
is happening with Keith.

I wake up, I'll have
an eerie feeling.

He'll be hovering
over my bed.

I've never seen his eyes black.
I've never seen --

You know, he just --
It was so blank.

I had no idea why she was
ticked off at me the next day.

So when Keith goes into
one of these trances,

what the hell
exactly is happening?

More than likely
he's jumping him.

This is very scary.

How do I know he's not going

to be hovering over my bed
with a Kn*fe?

Or standing at the end
of my bed with a g*n?

So Shannon, you told me
you're afraid something here

might influence Keith
to hurt you.

And you nailed it.
You were right.

Now it's time to find out if
there's anything you two can do

to save your marriage
and your lives.

For that, I'm gonna
turn it over to Amy.

I think you can fix this,

but there are quite a few
things that you'll need to do.

There is a team that I would
like to have come here,

and it does consist
of a medium

as well as other types
of sensitives.

They can remove
this negative dead male.

Basically, what'll happen is

while half of the team is
removing this deceased male,

the other half of the team

will be working on
the both of you,

and that means removing
any negative attachments,

or things,

that have been influencing
and or affecting you.

Once all of that's been done,
then they'll also assist,

like, the dead sisters
and whoever else.

I feel like until
the people can get here

who can help you,
I would recommend

that one of you
stays somewhere else

to prevent anything
from occurring.

Wow.

I'm just gonna pack a bag
so I don't have to stay here.

I don't feel safe in my home.

And the last thing I would
like to see you guys do

is reach out to
a psychotherapist

and someone who does
specialize in marriage.

There has been damage done
to both of you as individuals

and to you as a couple,
okay?

Even though you were
influenced by this maniac,

you said and/or did things
that hurt the other person,

and that's going
to stay with them.

So once they bring this team in,

do you think all this
activity will stop?

Yes, I do, I do.

So it sounds like

once you get all
the paranormal taken care of,

then you guys work on this.

- Yeah.
- Very doable.

The question I have for
both of you -- Is it too late?

I hope not.

- You gonna take Amy's advice?
- Yes.

Absolutely.

We're not gonna be able
to work through our problems

until this is taken care of.

I walked in here not even
considering working it out.

At least now
I'm considering.

We'll get through this.

Shannon and Keith have
a long road ahead of them,

but if they bring in a team of
sensitives to remove the dead,

and meet with a psychotherapist
to work on their relationship,

I believe the activity will stop

and they can go back
to being a loving couple.
