Hold on, Derek! Help is on the way!

Kenny!

How the hell does a kid end up getting stuck in a grain silo

50 feet above the ground?

It's called walking the grain.

People go up into the silo and they stomp around on the corn 'cause it's a cheap way to dislodge it from the drain.

Sounds like you've run a few of these, Judd.

Yeah, we lose a few people a year to them down here.

You get that much grain together, it's like quicksand.

So if he's already up to his chest, how long do we have to get him out?

Ten minutes at the most, but that depends on the air pocket, but you also can't pull him out too fast or you'll just rip him in half.

But i-it's corn.

Yeah, it's corn.

It weighs 1,200 pounds per cubic yard.

It's like having four refrigerators on top of every part of your body.

All right, here's the deal.

When we get there, Judd's gonna run the call, all right?

You do what he says when he says it.

Copy that. Copy that.

Copy that.

All right, let's raise the area!

Everybody with high-angle training goes up!

Let's get this kid out of here!

All right, listen up, y'all!

This is what we're gonna do!

You get in there, you put your platform down.

You stay put!

One false step could cause an air pocket.

Nobody's feet touches the corn!

Copy that.

I got eyes on him, Cap.

Hey, try to stay relaxed, okay? Stay calm.

Don't struggle.

We're gonna get you out of there.

Remember, nobody steps on corn!

Hey, pass one of these down!

Please, hurry!

Got it. Got hands on.

All right, Marjan.

Hey, give me that horse collar.

Copy that. Yep.

Harness flying in.

All right, partner. Okay?

We're gonna get you out of here.

You got a lot of pressure on your chest right now. You've gotta try to relax.

Hard to breathe!

It's gonna be okay.

Tighten that right now.

Hold that one right there. Watch that rope.

All right, got another coming in.

Putting it behind you.

Check your elbows, kid.

We're gonna get these around you to form a seal and then suck out the corn to relieve the pressure.

You gotta go around. You good?

There you go. Oh, you got him.

We're losing him.

Come on, we gotta go.

All right, hey, we're gonna drop this in.

We're gonna vacuum this out around you.

You better watch your arms. Just keep your head up. Just relax if you can.

All right, breathing? Okay.

Yeah.

TK, you're up.

Just make sure that you don't let him fall.

I got it. I got it.

Let's go. Come on.

Do it.

Go, go, go. Do it.

Okay, Derek, he's gonna start the suction rig.

We're almost done.

Okay, let's go. There you go.

Oh, there it is!

Hey, hey! Yeah.

Gonna get you out of here. All right, buddy?

Talk to me. - Making progress, Cap.

Stand by.

All right. All right.

Whoo!

Let's go.

Come on, Marjany.

Move your arm over here, kid.

Make that flow.

Don't get too close, Marjan.

What was that?

Hey, hey, hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

My line snapped. Marjan, Marjan!

Hold on, hold on. Do not struggle!

Don't struggle! Hold still!

Whoa! Marjan!

Get back! Get everybody!

Get to the sides! Go, go, go!

Marjan! What am I supposed to do?

I'm sinking! Marjan!

Grab my hand! Judd!

That's an order!

Oh, God!

TK, don't! Let go!

No, no, no, no, no, no!

No! Oh!

Captain Strand, they went down!

Who's going down? - TK and Marjan!

Cut it open now!

What's going on? Derek, listen to me!

When I say "now," take a deep breath and let go of that harness.

What?

Just do it or you'll be torn apart.

Okay, the only way out for you now is down.

It's open, it's open!

Take a deep breath and go now!

Whoa, look at that.

Holy smokes.

You see that? You think they're okay?

You okay? I'm good.

Where's Marjan?

Wow.

Oh, damn.

Oh.

Form a wall!

You don't think anyone caught that on video when my hijab came off?

Oh, yeah.

This is gonna be epic.

Epic disaster.

Just grinning like the butcher's dog, huh?

I don't even know what that means, and I do not know what your deal is right now.

My deal is that you disobeyed a direct order back there at the silo.

A direct order? You're not my boss.

You're damn right I was the second the Cap put me in charge of that team.

I was just following my instincts.

Your instincts?

Based on all of your, uh, silo rescue experience at Times Square?

I'm not doing this with you, all right?

Well, that must be nice that you get to move right to the front of the line while everybody else who deserves a sh*t...

You don't know the first thing about me, dude.

No, man, you must have been k*lling it in New York City that you got to follow Daddy down here at the drop of a hat.

Seriously, Judd, back off.

Or what, pretty boy?

Are you gonna go and tell your daddy?

You gonna say, "Judd's hurting my feelings?"

I-I was just trying to help.

I'm not some damsel in need of saving.

100% right.

What I did was presumptuous, inappropriate, and probably sexist. I'm...

I think I'm going through some stuff right now.

Get a therapist!

What's up?

I need you to know that I had nothing to do with Captain Strand coming to your house last night.

Captain Strand.

Did you ice that?

I'm fine.

You might try this arnica.

It'll help with the bruising and the swelling.

Thanks.

I'm surprised you didn't turn up here with the police.

Honestly, Michelle, I'm not interested in having any more legal dealings with you, or any dealings with you, for that matter.

I never liked you.

You're arrogant, a know-it-all, a bully, and I felt that way before Iris went missing.

Then why are you here?

You wanna talk about Iris?

Fine.

I just don't know if you're ready to hear what I have to say.

Try me.

You think your sister was so perfect?

She wasn't. I never said that.

Oh, please.

You and your mom idolized Iris, and the further away she gets from you, the more sainted she becomes.

The fact is, you didn't know Iris.

And I didn't, either.

Not at the end.

What's that supposed to mean?

Something in her changed.

I mean, she was always so stable and sweet and kind, and then something happened.

I don't know what, but it was like something inside her broke.

She wasn't... Iris, and she started hanging out with people she wouldn't introduce me to.

Did you tell all of this to the police?

Whoever those people were, they could have been driving that truck.

I told the police everything I knew, which only made me realize how little I did know.

And why didn't you tell me?

From the day Iris went missing, you accused me of murdering her.

I was supposed to protect her.

And I lost her.

She went off into the darkness, and I let her go, and I didn't follow her.

She called me that night.

More than once.

And I didn't pick up.

And I have to live with that, and it kills me.

You're not the only one who lost her.

I know.

Well, those storms we promised you are here earlier and fiercer than first predicted.

Tornado warnings in effect countywide.

Hang on to something, Austin.

It's going to be a bumpy night.

Oh, my sweet Lord!
