motions, their eyes.

It's almost like they
live in another world.

They were formed
thousands of years ago.

Hawaiians believe
this area to be haunted

Since a lava tube
looks like an evil spirit.

Legend has it that you
remove the lava from this area,

You'll be cursed forever.

I call it dragon's throat.

Cody: 'cause it looks
like a dragon's throat?

No, I just like the sound of it.

This is my favorite spot
on the island, kealakekua.

It means pathway of the gods.

They filmed the old
series "seahunt" here.

That was before my time.
