[BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT
PRESENT]

For me, the first time in Chile,
to be honest...

I wasn't confident about
my live performance.

And I had to work on my vocals as well.

For me, personally,
writing and composing music...

to be honest, I was truly...

Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok performed
the songs that they made.

I envied them a lot for that.

I accomplished only one thing.

I wanted to perform a song
that I made on the stage.

A song that I wrote on my own.

And that song is "4 O'CLOCK."

I made it this far and this high.

So I want to become a singer
that my fans can be proud of.

Here's Bangkok, Thailand!

Sawadikap.

I love Thailand. I love it.

A long time ago,
when we had just made our debut,

we came to Thailand for the first time.

We gave a concert performing
"N.O," "No More Dream" and "I Like It."

We had nothing back then.
We were just rookies.

And they made us feel as if we were stars.

It was beyond imagination.

They told us
eight or nine thousand came.

We took the escalator and walked around.

The fans were so loud that
you couldn't even hear the music.

That helped tremendously in having
a good impression on going abroad.

Now they feel like old friends
with whom you can have lots of fun.

We'll have a lot of fun with these guys.

The venue is very far
from the dressing room.

That's a long distance.

Don't even think about coming back
after you get to the venue.

Work having that in mind.

We took a few weeks rest
from the concert.

So we were in great shape.

The three youngest were too hyper.

Jimin, V and Jungkook.

They can be excited,

but I hope they can still
take things seriously.

Though I know that
they'll do a good job.

We take time to think together
before we begin to perform.

We take that time,
so we don't loosen up too much.

Any changes for "Not Today"?

Be more careful about the last bridge.

By the end of it.

I need someone that can speak
before we perform "Boy In Luv."

- You do it.
- No, I have a sore throat.

- I need to sing "Wings" right after.
- Then Jimin can do it.

- Or I can't sing "Wings."
- Me? No.

I'm trying to avoid screaming too much.

- I'll do it whenever I can.
- Jungkook won't, so you do it.

You do it.

Jungkook, you try doing it.

Jungkook, you do it. You never do it.

You never do it, so you do it.

Try doing it here.

- Jungkook will do it.
- Yes, Jungkook will.

No, I don't want to do it.

Try doing it here.

Are you ready?

Are you ready?

- You say, "Make some noise."
- Okay. Jungkook will do it.

Jungkook will do it.

He can do anything but that.

There are a lot of changes
that we could make a mistake today.

We haven't performed in a while,
and it's hot.

- Bangtan, Bangtan!
- Bang, Bangtan.

- Bangtan, Bangtan!
- Bang, Bangtan!

We'll hear Jungkook say
"Make some noise."

- Make some noise.
- I'm looking forward to it.

You have to do it. Don't skip it.

You'd better do it or you'll see later.

If you don't do it...

Exactly when should I say it?

- You ready?
- Are you ready?

Make some noise!

ARMY time.

I'm not sure I said it right.

- Is that a catchy phrase?
- That was a catchy phrase.

Say it in Korean, please.

ARMY, you're the best!

[Missing you
even when I'm looking at you]

Let's do this.

- Bang, Bangtan!
- Bang, Bangtan!

Your boy's here.

Your boys are here. Scream!

I have a trainer that
checks on my vocals regularly.

I called my trainer so many times.

I told him that I made a big mistake.

That I made small mistakes
here and there while singing.

I was like this a year ago too.

I was preparing for a concert
and I was unable to sing.

I had my vocal lessons,

but everything was too new,
so I couldn't do anything well.

I got too sensitive,
so I practiced until late at night.

It's going to be so dry
inside the plane.

And my throat feels sore already.

I really hate the air inside the plane.

I think they like your voice very much.

Thanks for the compliment.

I liked your voice.

Your voice is really nice.

Like Jungkook.
Jungkook's a great singer, right?

If you want to be like him,
you have to work really hard.

You can't be good if you don't.

And I'm like, "Okay."

I'm not trying to say
who's better than who.

I personally like Jimin's vocals.

I like Jimin's voice better.
It's my taste.

So whenever I look at Jimin...

Though I'm not a singer,

I told him how to make what sound

I think I gave him a lot of advice.

But I think I understand very well
how Jimin feels.

He's a performer,
and if he does a bad job on stage,

it's the most frustrating thing.

My trainer saw the concert.

He said that I improved a lot.

He also said that I'm improving slowly,

so I don't need to worry.

So I said, okay.

If you can be good after one lesson,
then everyone can be a good singer.

So I thought once again
that I can take it slow.

Man.

I remember back then.

I told them so many times
that I want to learn how to sing,

but they kept telling me to rap
when I can't even rap.

Well, I couldn't do either.

Imagine if you had to rap.

- You kept asking me to.
- I don't even want to imagine.

I even wrote some lyrics.

I'm like, "Who was that?"
They said it's such and such.

And I ask, "How was Jimin?"

Ah, he's not interested in rap at all.

I tried my best. I did what I could do.

So I said, "He has to sing."

My stomach hurts. This is so hilarious.

We're here.

I feel a lot of pressure.

We have to look awesome,
and I have to do a good job.

And I think a lot about these things.

But then the concerts end in a rush.

We now have a flow.

How and when
we need to deliver how much.

And that could lead us
to fall into mannerism.

So we try to be careful about that.

We keep looking for smart ways
to deliver and show ourselves.

I think we're still
on our way to finding it.

I think about how much excitement
I should deliver to the audience.

If I keep my pace,
a lot of energy builds up.

But on the flip side,
that's one of our keywords.

[Want more of it, Manila]

You see how excited they are.

They've waited for months for this.

So how can I control my pace with logic?

I think that makes it really hard.

It's hard. It is.

Hong Kong. The food is great.

If you're Korean,
you should eat small octopus.

Small octopus?

It's really good.

What's this octopus?

Dead octopus.

If only ramyeon was
the healthiest food in the world.

You're eating again?

Mine too.

Okay.

He's a good one.

Jungkook, I trust you
and I'll follow you.

Hey, there are mushrooms
in this ramyeon.

It's a chocolate ball. What?

Dang you!

I thought it was mushrooms!

Perfect. You fell for it.

You fell for it.

Welcome to 2017 BTS Live Trilogy.
Episode III THE WINGS TOUR in Hong Kong.

Scream!

Before the concert,

I don't think too much anymore.

Because the more I think,
the more mistakes I make.

The curtains come down,
RM goes out,

then we go out and sit.

Then we can finally breathe.

We get ready. We get our minds ready.

It's beginning.

Let's do this as if it's the last.

That's what I think.

It's hard. It's very hard.

But after all, the concert is also...

momentary.

Actually, the man called Kim Namjoon...

likes to enjoy nature
and walk around on his own.

He likes to meet his friends
and have a drink together.

He definitely has that side.

I didn't have enough time
to live as Kim Namjoon.

Actual time.

Well... I don't know.

This is always difficult.

Whenever I wear makeup
and stand in front of the camera,

I don't know to what extent
I should be honest.

That's the hardest part for me.

Maybe it's better to spare one's breath.

And leave room for imagination.

But that's not how I am.

People keep telling me that

in the end, giving people room
for controversy and interpretation

is what makes a star.

Many have told me so.

And if I were clever and smarter,
I'd like to do that,

but I can't be someone I'm not.

There are people that can do that.

I always want to communicate with people.

I want to tell them what I'm going through.

If you tell me your story,
I'll write that in my music.

I want to keep telling a story.

Anyway, being an idol star,

you don't have a choice
but to have two identities.

You don't have a choice.

I invested a lot in my identity
as BTS and RM.

And this is really a dilemma.

We need to find ways to overcome this.

And I'm trying different things.

I study, I read books.

I need time to be wholly me,
the original me that I know.

If we have to talk about this sad part
and these guidelines,

it's very difficult.

How much can I share
to not look weak to my fans

and still remain faithful to them?

How much truth can I get off my chest?

Is he not here?

Can I get some help?

It hurts too much.

This is serious.

We need to make a choice.

I'll go for it.

Take a break here for two minutes.

We only have two songs left.
I have to do it.

We'll soon start.
Two minutes left. Two minutes.

The Billboard.

I can't believe it.

The stylists were picking out outfits.

I asked them what's going on.

They said we're going to
the Billboard Music Awards.

You're going to
the Billboard Music Awards.

What? The Billboard Music Awards?

A friend called me
and said it feels like I'm an alien.

It's like we're watching TV,

but we're inside the TV.

When we receive the biggest award
in Korea and become number one,

we can feel how far we've come.

But this time,
when we received this award,

it felt like, "What's going on?"

We've been given a huge award.

Do we deserve this?

The idol group BTS has been nominated
for the Billboard Music Awards.

They're the first Asian stars
to have been nominated,

and will be called out to the stage
as the winners.

And I don't know why I'm going to do this,

but I'm going to admit.
I've never heard of them before today.

How huge are they?

In 30 minutes,
we'll be standing on that stage.

Billboard.

Oh, they're probably the largest,
most popular K-Pop band at the moment.

Thanks to
their very dedicated army of fans.

Actually named ARMY.

- We are BTS!
- BTS!

- 2! 3! Bang...
- Tan!

Hello, we're BTS!

- Yay! What's up, Billboard?
- What's up, Billboard?

Gosh, I'm so nervous!

I'm nervous. Oh my God!

Wow, so many people.

How controlled is the K-Pop industry?

I mean, do these guys
write their own stuff?

How involved are they in
their own careers and their own lives?

Or is it a bit of a factory?

Yes, I mean, one of
the prevalent notions of K-Pop is that

it's factory manufactured music,

which is true to a large extent,
but BTS is special

because a lot of members actually
do produce their music.

I love his authentic presentation
of the self

and how he represents young people.

I'm sweating so much.

I need tissue paper.

It's so hot.

I can't fan myself because of my hair.

BTS in Billboard.

- Las Vegas.
- Hello.

BTS in Billboard.

Why do I feel like going to the bathroom?

And the Billboard Music Award goes to...

BTS!

BTS arrived at Incheon Airport
this afternoon.

They were awarded the Top Social Artist

before they moved to Sydney, Australia,

to continue with
their current overseas tour.

Hello!

Yes, Suga.

Hello, we're Billboard's
Top Social Artist BTS.

Yeah, baby.

We received the loudest acclamation
among all the prizewinners.

I could feel how people watched us
with a "who are they?" look.

How do I explain this?

The number of retweets is shocking.

The view hits on YouTube.

Where is this coming from?

Half of the interview
was about these questions.

Where would it be from?

Our fans of ARMY throughout the world

made many efforts to
make more of our dreams come true.

I want to tell our fans
that we want them to be proud of us.

They made this award possible.

So I really hope they're proud of us.

I wanted to say this to them.

So many moments flashed before my eyes.

From the practice sessions...

Everything flashed before my eyes
in an instant.

Okay. Now I've been awarded this,
so I'm going to work harder.

I haven't had this thought today.
Not even once.

Well, just because we were awarded
such a huge prize,

we won't suddenly change.

Suga kept joking and said,
"Now we're Billboard singers."

It doesn't feel real yet.

The call of this generation.

The first K-Pop singers.
I love all these names,

but it's a lot of pressure.

If that becomes our main goal...

I don't want to lose
what we've been doing and enjoying.

I think I said this before.

If we keep up the work
that we've done so far,

I'm sure people will recognize it.

If you think about what pulled BTS up
to where it is now,

we didn't cling to such goals.

If we keep up this work consistently,

that will naturally follow.

I don't want to worry about
how long this will last.

I don't want to focus on that too much,

and forget how much I'm enjoying
what we're already doing.

I'm actually more worried
that I'll stop enjoying this

thinking about when this will end.

I think I understand a little now.

What matters isn't chasing
after things like that.

It's more important we don't forget
and carry on what we've done so far.

I think that's our next step.

When I'm dancing I think

I'm moving like J-Hope,

but when I actually do the monitoring,

I'm dancing as Jin.

J-Hope is like water. He really is.

I feel at ease when he's around.

Can't we just leave
seven here on the stage

and each of us performs separately?

I know, right?

We talk about the dome in every meeting.

We talk about the dome
every time we talk about something.

It was like a goal. Something like that.

We... I bought a new camera.

You can look forward to it.
