'Yee-haw!'

Bo, You better
get after it a bit.

They can't start dress rehearsal
till we get these props to 'em.

Well, don't yell at me.

It's not me that's got the
miseries. It's the General.

What's the matter
with you, fella?

You know, some
cars are like people.

They can get episodic, too

But, in the General's case,
it was just carbon building.

But it sure picked a bad time.

Because further on down the road

Bo and Luke were about
to get all they could handle.

You see that fellow
sitting in the back?

He's the crime czar
of the whole state.

Norman Nervous Willis, so
called 'cause he's convinced

that the rest of the underworld
is plotting against him.

I don't like it.

That orange car
has been on our tail

for the past ten miles.

It's got to be Cutler
and Monday's boys

planning on making a hit
before we get to Atlanta.

Norman, relax.

Cutler and Monday
wouldn't be dumb to use a car

that stands out like that.

They would if they thought I
was dumb enough to fall for it.

I didn't get where I
am being careless.

Now, when you're as
edgy as Norman Willis

and the General
starts acting up like that.

What would you think?

They're blasting us.

Luke?

' "N-W."'

What do you suppose
that stands for?

I got no idea but I'm
gonna call Roscoe right now.

Alright, I'll check the General.

This here is Luke Duke

calling Roscoe P.
Coltrane, come back.

That was close.

It's okay, we lost 'em.

It ain't, okay.

I think, I'm having
a heart att*ck.

It's impossible to
have a heart att*ck

if you ain't got no heart.

And Norman didn't
have either one.

So, Bo and Luke unable
to reach Roscoe or Enos

waited up for Cooter to come
and doctor up the General.

And Daisy was playing a nurse

in a play the church's little
theatre group was rehearsing.

What's keeping Bo and Luke
with those props, Reverend?

Hmm, I don't know.

We might as well call off dress
rehearsal till tomorrow though.

Now, don't loose those notes
that the director gave you.

No I won't.

Oh, and you might as well
leave that costume here

We can take it to the
cleaners with the rest of 'em.

Okay. I will.

Where can I find
the nearest doctor?

Oh, well that will
be Doc Applebee.

Better call first to make
sure. There's a phone inside.

I gotta sick man
in the back seat.

See what you can do
for him, nurse, please.

Well, I'm not a...

Can I help you mister?

I think, it's too late.

Now, listen, listen
you gotta think positive.

Nothing's ever too late.

As soon as your friend's back
he'll take you to Doc Applebee.

Everything's gonna be just fine.

He just passed out.

The doc told me to
bring him right over.

Okay.

Well, you can't tell
a book by it's cover.

But if only Nervous Norman
ain't having a heart att*ck

He's gonna have apoplexy when
he finds he's got Daisy's notes

and Daisy's got his.

Which means that
Daisy's gonna be in danger.

Man, I hate that.

There you go gents. Good as new.

Don't that knock
your shirt in the dirt?

Cooter, you are a surgeon.

I could have swore we'd
need another radiator.

Noting to it, nothing to it.

Hey, let me get this right now.

That personalized
license plate was N-W?

- That's right.
- Yeah.

You still got that
pal in the D.M.V.?

- Elmo?
- Yeah.

He's still hanging
out up in hot Atlanta.

I'll give him a call when
I get back to the station.

In the mean time, I
want ya'll to lay low.

Yeah, we'll do that.

Listen, don't say nothing
to Uncle Jesse, alright?

- We don't want to worry him.
- Sure.

- Oh yeah, and...
- Yeah, I know.

- Put it on the bill.
- Yeah, the bill.

- Thanks, Cooter.
- Yeah.

- See ya'll then.
- You got it.

Is your heart okay?

Yeah. Just some indigestion.

Good, 'cause I sure hope you
got your little black book with you.

I left it on the back
seat of the Limo.

Uh-uh. This was in the backseat.

"Walk around the
desk to the door and say

"Yes Doctor, I will
Doctor, thank you Doctor."

- This ain't my book.
- I know.

Must belong to the nurse
in front of the church.

The one that got into the limo.

She must have taken
your book and left this.

It's got names and numbers
and every racket I'm runnin'.

If fed's ever see
that, it's over.

Come on, we
gotta get that nurse.

You don't have to
read between the lines

to know that Norman
would do anything

to get back that book of his.

And if he finds Daisy,
well it ain't gonna be pretty.

Fortunately for the time
being, he just missed her.

Coming into town the
other way to see Roscoe

Bo and Luke missed
seeing old Norman's limo

that was parked
outside the church.

Alright, let's see now, Flash.

We're gonna go through
this Police dog training manual

just one more time,
alright, you ready?

Alright, velvet ears..

Um, that's good.

Ten hut.

At ease.

Well, we got the at
easedown perfect.

But the ten hutneeds
a lot of work.

Now, ready? One more time.

- Hey Roscoe.
- Oh!

Listen, don't come
sneaking in here like that.

You nearly scared the
wrinkles off of Flash here.

'Flash, we're sorry. We gotta
scare of our own Roscoe.'

Yeah, we got sh*t at by some
looney in a black limousine.

It had personalized plates, N-W.

- Right.
- Why?

- What do you mean, why?
- We don't know, why?

Well if I know you two jokers.

You probably did something
to instigate it in the first place.

As soon as Flash and I get
through with her dog training

then we'll go out and
find out what you two did.

What we did? It was this
guy who did the sh**ting?

- We didn't sh**t nobody.
- Oh, tiddly tuddly.

You expect me to take your word

against a man who ain't
even here to defend himself?

I give up. I give up.

Oh, does that mean you're
gonna make a full confession?

Roscoe, it doesn't mean we're
ready to make a full confession.

- What it means is...
- Out out, riff-raff. Tiff.

Roscoe, you're not well.
We'll take care of it ourselves.

You cannot take the law in
your own hands. Wait a minute.

Here, come back. Flash, Flash.

Would ya pursuit?
Oh, good grief.

- Did you find the nurse?
- That was no nurse.

The pastor said her
name's Daisy Duke.

And the costume she was
wearing was for some church play.

We gotta find her.

Hey, relax Norman. Relax.

She left in her jeep, heading
for the farm she lives on.

You know where it's at?

And the road she's taking.

Ah! Ah! Oh!

- Roscoe, you gave me a fright.
- Oh, I'm sorry about that.

Listen, you know those Dukes
have really got me upset now.

Yeah, you got me
upset coming in like that.

You know what they did?

They come in and told me
some cock and bull story

about a long black limousine

with some guy in
there, sh**ting at 'em.

Had a personalized
license plate.

I think he said
that they were N-W.

- N-W?
- Like North-West.

N for Norman, W for Willis.

- What?
- Norman Willis.

- Norman Willis.
- Yeah!

You mean, theNorman
Willis? The boss of all bosses?

- Nervous Norman Willis.
- Ooh.

Oh, Roscoe, if he's in town
you're looking at a dead man.

Oh, well, you
don't look too puny.

No! No, no, no.

What I'm talking about is
I gotta get me an aspirin.

So, I don't have a
headache when they bury me.

Oh, no. Listen..
Boss, li-listen, Boss.

Don't get your little
flab in an uproar.

Listen, they were sh**ting at
the Dukes not sh**ting at you.

Oh yeah? Well, that
don't make no difference.

Because I'll tell you
what, Nervous Norman

he'll sh**t at anybody he
likes, whenever he likes.

Here, hold this.
Give me one of these.

He must've have found out
that I've been shortchanging him

on the % he's supposed to get

out of every deal I
make outside of Hazzard.

And if he had found that
out, he must have come here

to fit me for the concrete
overcoat and the seaman shoes

I'm gonna be wearing for my
trip to the bottom of Hazzard pond.

- You mean..
- Yeah!

Sorry we're late
with these props.

We ran into a little trouble.

Rehearsal's been called off
for today and Daisy's gone.

What are you talking about?

She just left before those men
in that limousine came looking.

Black one?

Wait a second, did it have an
N and a W on the license plate?

That's the one.

Luke, they won't
hurt her, right?

If they sh**t at two Dukes
they'd sh**t at one more.

- Let's go after..
- Thanks a lot, Reverend.

'Lost sheep calling Bo Peep'

Where have you been?

'Ain't important where
we are. Where are you at?'

- , coming up on the
junction with . Why?

'Look behind you. Is there
a black limo tailing you?'

There sure is.

Looks like the one I left
back in Hazzard an hour ago.

Alright now, just stay cool.

I gotta tell you those guys
took a potshots at me and Bo

just a little while back.

'Now it seems
they're after you.'

- What for?
- We got no idea, like I said.

'Stay as far enough ahead,
so they can't get a sh*t at you.'

Then you double back and we
should be able to intercept you

over on the other
side of clear creek.

Got it. I'm gone.

Now, as Daisy was trying
to avoid Nervous Norman

Boss was doing the same thing.

Roscoe, I'm telling you,
there's nothing I can do.

So, tell me, what can I do?

Well..

You know what I'd do if I
was a crook because I'm not?

- No.
- And you're not.

But if, if a crook was
smart what they would do

is go to some rich mans house

and take all of his
heirlooms and valuables

and sell it and give them to
you and get you off the hook.

- Yeah.
- Of course we're not crooks.

Yeah, I know. No,
we can't do that.

- Wait a minute.
- Wait a minute.

Wait a minute.

You did just give me an idea.

Oh, goody for me.

- I'll tell you what.
- What?

We could rob the
richest man in town.

And then we could fence
off all his fancy expensive

paintings and antiques.

And I raise enough ready
cash for Nervous Norman.

Oh! We can't do that.

I can't. I'm the sheriff.

I can't go sneaking
around robbing people.

Well, you ain't gonna
be sheriff if I'm dead.

And that's what I'm gonna be

if I don't keep Norman
from getting nervous.

- But I'll tell you what.
- What?

- The fellow I'm talking about.
- Yeah.

This rich fellow. He'll
give us permission.

Well, how nice of him..

Why would anybody be so
stupid as to do something like that?

- Me?
- You?

I'm talking about my house.

Oh, it's your house?

- Now, you get it?
- I got it.

You know, I could
have thought forever

and I would've
never thought of that.

Let's see how the Dukes are
making out with their problem.

Any ideas about
what we're gonna do

when we meet up with
Daisy and them fellas?

First, we're gonna have
to draw their fire off of her.

And what about second?

Second, we avoid getting
hit while we're doing the first.

'I was afraid you
were gonna say that.'

Listen, fellas you better
come if you're coming

'cause they're
closing in real fast.

'I got you in sight,
right about o'clock.'

'There's that orange car again.'

Yeah, those boys
sure don't give up easy.

Bo... do somethin'.

With the General
out of commission

and old Norman hitting
two for two in his sh*ts

things just don't
look good for Daisy.

Daisy, we're outta the
race. We've got a blown tire.

You're gonna have to loose
'em just as best as you can.

- 'You read me?'
- Loud and clear.

What are you stopping
for? She's got my book.

We go ten feet off the road
in this limo and we've had it.

Just calm down, Norman.

We know where
the little lady lives.

Luke, Bo, I lost 'em.

'I let them eat my dust.'

I knew she'd do
it. That's our girl.

Now, y'all gonna tell
me what's going on here?

I ain't sure Daisy, but it looks
like somebody's Duke hunting.

We better find out who
and why before he trees us.

Breaker one, Crazy Cooter
here, lookie here, lost sheep

I done found out who,
but I don't know why.

'Elmo says that N
W is none other than'

'Nervous Norman Willis.'

He's the sole
owner of that limo.

And Nervous Norman, is
number one on the F.B.I's list.

And he's also number one
on his competitions hit parade.

What in the world would he
want with Bo, Luke and me?

Can't tell you
that, I know that if..

You go to ask him
you better be careful

'cause I hear that he
sh**t first and answers later.

Hey, listen, I think it's time
to get Uncle Jesse in on this.

Daisy, run over and pick him up

and meet us at Timber
Top, minutes, alright?

- I'm gone.
- Yeah, I'm down, I'm goin'.

I'll see you in there .

Breaker, this here is the lost
sheep calling the shepherd...

Luke got a hold of Uncle Jesse
and told him what happened.

And that Daisy'd bring
him to the meeting

so they could figure out
what to do about ol' Norman.

Now Norman meanwhile,
was heading to the Duke Farm..

Looking to get Daisy
and his book back.

And Boss and Roscoe were
busy robbing Boss' house..

To pay Norman
what Boss owed him.

Ya'll do realize
that this all started

'cause General Lee backfired..

- 'Get it on the truck.'
- Hey, chief.

'Careful with it.'

'Alright, grab that thing
on wheels, will you?'

We might need that because
the next thing's heavy.

- Yeah.
- Come on.

'Come on, come on.'

- What else I got to go.
- Leaving it right there.

'He says, joker's heavy.'

- What you think, Norm?
- Why not?

'Careful with that
vase, will you?

It's a genuine antique.

Well, Lulu paid a small fortune.

Wait a minute!

They're stealing
the things we stole.

'Stop that truck,
stop that truck.'

'Wait a minute!'

No, no, no!

Now, while ol' Roscoe
was coming up roses

Boss was coming up empty.

And so were Norman and Jake.

She's gotta still
have it with her.

Unless she went
to the police with it.

I sure hope she did 'cause
J.D. Hogg runs this county.

And if he's got it, I
got it. Let's go find out.

How'd you like to have
sit everybody down

and try to explain
what was going on.

So it's like I said,
one of them took off

to call Doctor
Applebee in the church

I took a look in on
the sick guy in the car.

Two minutes later, they
were gone and that's it.

He couldn't have been too
sick if he was let go so quick.

- He didn't say nothing to you?
- Not a thing.

We can't sit around and wait
for him to take another sh*t at us.

Wait a minute. We could.

What if we made it known
that we was at the farm?

You know everybody pick
out a spot and stake it out.

Somebody watch the barn,
somebody watch the house.

Good idea. I'll take the
hill overlooking the farm.

Ah, now, Daisy...

Listen, what I was
thinking was maybe...

'Oh, wait a minute.'

I'm a member of this family too.

They're out to get me like
they are Bo and Luke, uncle.

If you don't think I
can carry my share

if that's what
you're trying to say..

Settle down a second, we
didn't say nothing like that.

We just don't want to put
all our eggs in one basket.

If anything was to happen
there wouldn't be anybody to help.

Right, if we had you with the
law, then we have us a back up.

Why didn't you say that?

Trouble with that is,
Roscoe, he ain't no help.

I know.

Roscoe ain't no help, but
I know one deputy sheriff

who'd bend over
backwards to help Daisy out.

That'd mean the only other
law man in Hazzard County..

You guessed it,
Deputy Enos Strate.

You bet Bo, I'm right on it.

All Enos had to do was
hear that Daisy's in trouble.

And he took off like a redbone
hound on a possum hunt.

You let total strangers
rob the very house

you were supposed to be robbing.

But you see, but...

Oh, but me no buts
you button head.

Sheriff, oh sheriff, oh sheriff.

You were supposed
to help me, weren't you?

Instead you're adding
to all the troubles

I got with Nervous Norman.

What kind of trouble?

Well... He, ha, ha. Oh.

It's you, it's you.

'Oh, its you, it's you.'

Don't get Norman Nervous.

I mean, don't get
Nervous Norman.

Nervy Normous.

Forgive me please,
please forgive me.

I promise you'll get it back.

Then you got it.

Well, no, not exactly.

But-but-but you'll get it.

- Oh.
- Every last cent.

I promise. I take an
oath on the sheriff's life.

What?

The sheriff's life?

Every last cent?

Yeah, every last
cent of that money.

I short-changed you on the
% I was supposed to give you

on all my outside deals.

Oh.

You mean, you didn't know?

- No.
- Oh-h.

But I know now.

Oh..

Me and my big mouth.

I just put my foot in it.

All the way up to
your double chin.

- Get up, Hogg.
- I'm up.

We just might
work somethin' out.

- Yeah, you name it, you got it.
- Ooh.

Little gal named Daisy Duke
turn anything over to you?

Now, listen, what
has Daisy got that-that

I'm supposed to get
that she's still keeping.

None of your business.

You just get her and
turn her over to me.

We'll do it, just remember
Daisy Duke she's just a little gal.

You wouldn't hurt
her, would you?

Me?

Hurt that little gal?

Not on your life.

- That's a promise.
- Good.

You just bring her to me..

And we just might
square everything.

We bring her to you,
you square. Alright, alright.

Come on, you heard him.
We gotta bring him Daisy Duke.

You're not nervous now,
are you? That's good.

Come on, come
on. He ain't nervous.

You ain't nervous, are ya?

You're not nervous either?
I wouldn't be if I were you.

Just have anything you want
in the office, cigars, whatever.

You did mean that
about not hurting her?

Of course I meant it.

Once we get that book..

You just finish that
little gal off real quick

and she won't hurt at all.

Meanwhile, we'll
go look for 'em boys

who's got the contract
out on me and cancel it.

First, shh... we dump the limo.

Since they know
what to look for.

Yeah.

Nervous Norman Willis,
Nervous Norman Willis.

State police and
F.B.I's been trying to get

something on him for as
long as I can remember.

What's he want with
Daisy and you fellas?

That's what we
gotta figure out, Enos.

In the meantime, we
should have a place

where Daisy can stay
where he can't get at her.

I see what you mean.

Back on the Metro Squad
we called it a safehouse.

You know where
you can find us one?

Meaning no offense, my house
is about as safe as safe can be.

Well, you go on with him,
and I'll take the jeep home.

Knowing Daisy was
now in good hands..

The Dukes and Cooter
headed for the farm..

Expecting Norman
to show up there.

The Dukes didn't know
Norman had already been there.

And having traded his limo
for a less conspicuous vehicle

was combin' the
roads of Hazzard..

Looking for their orange car.

Boss and Roscoe were gonna
start their search for Daisy

in a logical place,
the Duke farm.

Whoever did this, did a heck
of a job of tearing things apart.

Yeah, I believe this is worse
than the great tornado of .

Well, it proves one thing..

That Norman fella is looking
for more than y'all and Daisy.

The door is open.

- 'He said it was open.'
- Oh, it's open.

Alright, so it's open.

Oh, what a mess.

What, did the termites
stop holding hands.

Will you just hush up, please?

'Alright, where's Daisy?'

What do you wanna
know about her for?

Because she has certain
property belonging to another party.

That other party couldn't
be Norman Willis, could it?

- Ooh, he guessed it right.
- Would you, please.

It's none of your
business who the party is

or what the property
is in question.

J.D., we're not gonna
tell you where Daisy is

till we figure out what
them fellas are looking for.

Alright, alright.
Come on, Roscoe.

We'll find Daisy, if we
have to turn this farm

and half of Hazzard county
inside up and upside down.

Wait a minute that's outside...

Oh, would you hush please?

I mean, Daisy
couldn't have gone far

her jeeps parked out front.

Her jeeps parked out front.

I told you hush.
We're late, come on.

And this was the only
boarding house in Hazzard.

And also the home
of Deputy Enos Strate.

- Enos Strate speaking.
- 'Howdy, Enos.'

- 'Can I talk to Daisy, please?'
- Sure enough, buddy. Hold on.

- It's Luke.
- Oh, good.

Thanks. Hey, Luke.

Daisy, listen, think back to
when you was in that limo..

'...now did you pick up
anything before you got out.'

No, I sure didn't.

Oh, wait, I picked up
my little black notebook

'with my stage
directions in it.'

Where's that notebook now?

In the pocket of my costume.

Oh, gosh. We took
it out to be cleaned.

'It's um.. What are
you asking me for?'

Norman thinks you've
got somethin' of his.

I suppose, you and him had
the same size and color notebook.

- You think I picked up his?
- That's a possibility.

Did you look inside before
you put it in your pocket?

- Uh-uh, I didn't, Luke.
- Then that could be what it is.

You sit tight until we run over
to the cleaners and pick it up.

- Okay, I will, bye-bye.
- Bye-bye.

- Did you catch any of that?
- 'Yeah.'

Whatever he's got written,
he don't want nobody seeing it.

Especially, the FBI.

Come on, we got some
reading to catch up on.

With Daisy safe at Enos's place.

And the Dukes now knowin'

what old Norman
was after and why.

Well it begin to look
like the Dukes was gettin'

everything well in hand.

And if you believe that

you don't know
much about the way

things work in Hazzard County.

You see, Norman
had switched cars.

Oh, lookie-lookie-lookie,
here come them cookies.

'Got a surprise planned.'

And that is a massive dynamite

and that ain't fair.

What's that? Get
it out of here, Bo.

'Get it out.'

Well, that there
was kinda too close.

Not only that, it
wasn't even the limo.

Either-Either Norman's
got a whole army down here

or he switched cars.

I don't understand why
they're tryin' to k*ll us.

I mean, Daisy's
got the dang book.

First time they sh*t at us.

She hadn't even
been in limo yet.

I don't understand.
We goin' after that car?

No, they got too
much of a head start.

What we'd really need
is that book of Norman's.

Let's go get it.

Dynamite must have
finished those boys off.

Otherwise, they'd
be coming after us.

Yeah.

Now all we have to do is
wait for Hogg to bring us

that Daisy gal and the book.

Yeah, knowin' Hogg, If he
gets his hands on that book.

He's gonna do
some heavy reading.

I've been givin' that
some thought too.

Hogg will just love to have
somethin' to hang over my head.

We better finish
him off with the girl.

- 'Hotel? No way!'
- 'Well, you never know.'

I mean, she'd be seen.
That's no place to hold up.

- It wouldn't take a second.
- Yeah but...

Check it out, you never know
where those Dukes will be.

Oh, uh, Gussie?

This is Sheriff
Roscoe P. Coltrane.

- Would you say hello from Boss?
- Yes.

Ooh, hello from Boss.

Uh-uh, listen, Gussie

Give me the Hazzard
Hotel and snap it.

This is official business.

'Oh, hello, Wally.'

Did a brownish haired
young lady check in?

Maybe with sunglasses.

Maybe a hat pulled
down over her eyes.

Oh. Uh, no-no-no.

Don't say anything to
her. We'll be right over.

- Well, well, well?
- Good news, good news.

- She's there? She's there?
- Oh, yeah.

Seems that, a blonde

weighin' about a
pounds about ' "

checked in under the
name of a Jane Smith.

You gotta be
cookies short of a dozen.

Daisy Duke ain't
that tall, that heavy.

She ain't blonde and
that ain't her name.

Well, she would
be if she wore a wig

and had high heels on

and maybe
padded up a little bit.

- I don't know about that.
- Listen, we will check it out.

- Alright, let's go.
- You never know.

I think she's on that
second floor here.

- Is that what they told you?
- This front room here.

- You sure of that?
- Yeah.

- Wait a minute.
- Gotta sneak and take a peak.

This ladder being here,
you could go right up.

- Well, listen, Boss.
- I'll show you...

Wait a minute. Why
don't you do that?

- Now, I mean...
- Me?

- Yeah.
- No-no-no, Roscoe.

I'm getting a little
fever. I mean..

My knees knock sometimes.
I got enough troubles.

Listen, you're just.. Come
on, disguise yourself.

We'll make you
up. Put that hat on.

Young man, here let me trade.

I'm commandeering your..

I'm gonna take your ladder
here and your paint bucket.

- Don't waste any time.
- Don't rush me now.

This is nervous.
I'm not good at this.

Wait a minute.
Oh, don't push now.

Alright, alright, up-up-up.

- Come on, come on, come on.
- Don't push.

I'll hold the ladder real
good. That's the idea.

Woo-hoo.

Listen, this is scary.

Listen, Boss..

I can see it.

Yeah, listen, that's good.

Oh.

Oh!

- You're not Daisy Duke.
- Oh, really?

How long did it take you
to figure, you peepin' Tom?

You oughta be
ashamed of yourself.

Well, I'm not Tom.

I'm.. I'm Sheriff
Roscoe P. Co...

Uh, don't-don't..

- No, no, no.
- Oh, no.

Sure hope this
thing is in there.

- Hi, Mrs. Walker.
- Mrs. Walker, listen uh..

Now, Daisy didn't
happen to leave somethin'

in her nurse's costume, did she?

Everything's already gone
out to the plant in Capitol City.

'But if you're
looking for that..'

That little black book
that was in her pocket?

Yeah.

I wrapped it in some brown paper

and mailed it out to the farm.

- You mailed it?
- Well, I tried calling Daisy.

But weren't nobody home.

And being closed tomorrow and..

Yeah. Well.. Thanks
a lot, Mrs. Walker.

- Yeah, we appreciate it.
- We'll check the mail.

Doggone post office is closed.
We have to wait till morning.

I know it.

Sure was mighty good
supper you cooked up, Daisy.

Thanks, Enos.

Why don't you sit and relax
and I'll take care of the dishes.

I'll do that, Daisy. Shucks.

Excuse me. Sit down, Daisy.

Enos Strate speaking.

'Hey, Enos, Daisy there?'

Oh, hi, Luke. She sure is.

Safe and sound.

- It's Luke again - Thanks.

- Hey, Luke.
- Yeah, Daisy.

Listen, Mrs. Walker said she
put that black book in the mail.

So we're gonna pick
it up in the morning.

Just give me a holler
and I'll be waiting.

You got it, bye-bye.

- Everything alright?
- Seems to be.

What are you gonna do with
that black book when you get it?

We ain't gonna give it to
Roscoe. That's for sure.

We got in touch with the FBI
and asked them to pick it up.

So, by tomorrow the whole
thing should be ancient history.

Trouble is, Luke

sometimes history
repeats itself.

I reckon it ain't
gonna be that simple.

And I bet I know where
Enos got that idea.

I saw that movie too.

Enos..

'You're such a gentleman.'

You're waiting for me to
turn off the light, Daisy?

Yeah, okay.

Sweet dreams.

And Enos was gonna
have the same dreams

that he'd been having since
he was in the third grade.

Picturing him and Daisy together

for the rest of their lives.

Sweet dreams to you too, Daisy.

When the next
morning got there..

Sure is great having coffee
first thing in the morning.

Especially yours Daisy.

Thank you, Enos.

But are you sure you don't want
me to whip you up breakfast?

It's only gonna take a minute.

I'd like nothing better, Daisy.
But I'm gonna be late for work.

You just make yourself at home.

And I'll be back
as soon as I can.

Okay.

'Enos.'

I wanna thank you for being
so very, very sweet to me.

I really appreciate it.

Oh, shucks, I ain't..

I ain't doing nothin', Daisy.

Yeah, you did.

Thanks.

Well, I gotta go.

- Bye.
- Buh-bye.

- Hello.
- 'Yeah, Daisy, it's Bo.'

- Luke and me are on our way.
- Good. I'll meet you outside.

Alright.

Ooh-ho.

Idiot!

You idiot. You idiot.

You numbskull. Is
there something wrong?

Are you kiddin' me?
Did you see that?

You done scuffed all
the chrome off my bumper

and made my vehicle
criminally att*ck yours.

I'm sorry...

I don't think it's
anything to laugh about.

What's that red stuff
on the side of your face?

I must've cut myself
shaving, sheriff.

Oh, you're shaving
with lipstick now?

Oh.

Daisy kissed me
as I was leaving.

- Oh, is it? D-Daisy duke?
- Yes, sir.

- You know where Daisy is?
- Yes, sir.

- You tell me where she is.
- She's stayin' at my house.

Now, friends if it's one
thing old Enos can't do.

It's lie.

And Enos had no way of
knowin' that by telling the truth

he was puttin' Daisy
into massive trouble.

Hey, Boss.

Good news. Good news.

Guess who's stayin' over
at Enos Strate's place?

Uh? You mean that
on Spring Lake Drive?

Yeah, you get three guesses.

- Oh, his momma?
- Nope.

- 'His aunt Vinnie?'
- 'Nope.'

- Oh, I don't want to play.
- Daisy Duke.

I guess we know where Daisy
Duke is stayin' now, don't we?

Well, let's not waste any time.

The sheriff and I'll go get her.

Never mind, Hogg.

Jake and me will
do that ourselves.

Yeah but remember you promised..

Nobody's gonna get hurt.

Hogg.

I gave you my word.

Which you could count
on just about as much

as letting a fox
free in a hen house.

Now, how this day
was going to turn out

will depend on who
got to Daisy first.

Bo and Luke

or the man with
the nerves of jelly

and the heart of steel.

Who gets there first?

Old jelly nerves.

You know he'd be funny
if he wasn't so dangerous.

- 'You gotta go with me.'
- No, no. Somebody help.

No, no, no.

They got Daisy.

- No, somebody help, no.
- Come on.

Okay, let's have the book.

I don't have it.

There's that orange car again.
They gotta have nine lives.

How did they know where we were?

Hogg, he set us up.

He told 'em that
we're going to get her.

And you..

You gotta be in on with
Hogg and Cutler and Monday.

Listen, mister, I don't know
what you're talking about.

I don't know anybody
named Cutler and Monday.

And those fellas back there
are my cousins, Bo and Luke.

And they ridin' in
the General Lee.

Yeah? They're working
for Cutler and Monday

and that double crosser Hogg.

I'll tell you somethin'.

Bo and Luke do not
work for anybody.

Specially, Boss Hogg.

'What are we
supposed to do now?'

If we get much closer
they're liable to sh**t Daisy.

If we let 'em get away they
might sh**t her anyway.

We're danged if we do
and danged if we don't.

If we only had that book
we could trade it for her

but we ain't got it.

We know we ain't got
it. They don't know that.

- It's worth a try.
- Yeah.

This here is Luke Duke callin'
Norman Willis, come back.

This is Willis.

Speak your peaks and
remember we got the girl.

Yeah, well, we got the book.

Sounds like we can
maybe do some business.

How do I know you're not
with Cutler and Monday?

You've fired on us before.

We wasn't f*ring at you
that was the General Lee

back f*ring, that's all.

Told you, you get
too nervous Norman.

Those boys could be
what they say they are.

I'll tell you something.

You can call Boss Hogg
and check it out with him.

Or anybody in Hazzard
County for that matter.

- Okay, I'll check it out.
- Okay.

If you're telling
the truth, we deal.

'Meanwhile, you lay off'

until I get back to tell you
where and when we meet.

We hand that book to
Norman and you, I and Daisy

have all bought
ourselves a one way ticket

to Boss Hogg's funeral party.

I've been thinking about
Norman's nervous habit.

There's gotta be a way to
make that work to our advantage.

How?

Well, he ain't only
hard after the book.

He's worried about some guys
named Cutler and Monday, right?

Yeah.

If we got us a big black Limo

and dressed up Uncle
Jesse and dressed up Cooter.

And have them show up
at exactly the right time.

Then he'd get spooked..

We'd be able to grab him
and that other fella and Daisy.

And Enos would get Norman.

- You got it. Let's go.
- Alright.

And believe it or not.

That's a relatively
simple plan for the Dukes.

If you haven't opened
your big fat mouth

right in front of Norman.

It'd be you and me gettin'
Daisy now instead of him.

Well, It's not my fault.

How did I know that
Norman was gonna be here?

- I ain't no mind reader.
- Yeah, of course you ain't.

First, you gotta have
the mind to rig with.

- Well...
- Oh-ho-ho.

Lordy, lordy, lordy.
What do I do now?

- Is it a guessin' game?
- Huh?

Hogg?

- J.D., you there?
- Oh, who's that?

- 'J.D. it's me.'
- That's Norman.

- It's Norman. Wait a minute.
- J.D.?

Say hello from Roscoe
but don't make him nervous.

Umm, this is J.D.
Hello, calling Norman.

I'm right here
waitin'. All ears.

Do you know two boys
named Bo and Luke Duke

'who drive an orange car?'

Oh, Yes, yes, yes.

That'd be the
Duke boys for sure.

Uh-uh, why do you wanna know?

We got the girl but they
got what we thought she had.

Well, don't you worry now, now.

Uh, the sheriff and me,
we'll go find them Dukes.

I just wanted to
know who they were.

We'll find them ourselves.

Eh-uh, you'll find
'em yourselves.

Yeah, not if I
can find 'em first.

Oh, glory be. I've got
me a second chance.

- Yeah, come on, Roscoe.
- Over and out.

We gotta find Bo and Luke
Duke before Norman does.

Right, good.

Thanks a lot, Miss Tizley.

Yeah, I'll say hello to
Uncle Jesse for you.

She made me take her dang
number when there's nobody in there.

- What made you take her number?
- I got it.

'This is Willis calling
Bo and Luke Duke.'

We read you Norman.

We also got your little
book. Now, what next?

'Meet us at uh..'

junction of Old
Post Road and uh..

It's County .

County . minutes.

We'll be there in two shakes.

Cooter, Uncle Jesse
how are you doin'?

Oh, we got it.

Thanks to Cooter's cousin
Tyrone, we got the Limo too.

Uh, Enos, you readin' this?

Loud and clear,
Luke, and raring to go.

Let's go for it gentlemen.

Oh, there they are.
That's the Dukes.

'They're goin' the other way.
Turn around and get 'em.'

Boss and Roscoe, there's
a sore sight for eyes.

Don't worry. They won't
be followin' us for long.

Hang on, cousin, we're
gonna go for a hole in one.

'Yee-haw.'

Woo-hoo.

- Lookie, look.
- Oh, I can do that.

You can't. Wait a
minute. Wait a minute.

Boss and Roscoe alright?

'Yeah, they look to be.'

'This here is the
Lost sheep calling.'

Green light all the way.

Attention all patrol
cars in Hazzard County.

Attention all patrol
cars in Hazzard County.

This is your state police.

A black Limousine believed to
be owned by Cutler and Monday

is headed in your direction.

'They're armed and dangerous.'

Did you hear that?
Cutler and Monday.

- They're headin' this way.
- Can't leave without the book.

Okay, let's have the book.

You give us Daisy
and you get this.

Of course, you ain't
gonna have much use for it.

- What are you talkin' about?
- Take a look.

- Cutler and Monday.
- Come on.

- Daisy, are you alright?
- I'm okay.

Look out.

Turn it around.

Now it may look
to the uninitiated

that Luke's plan fouled up.

But his backup plan was cooking.

'Cause he knew that the
road that old Norman was on

was dead endin'
at the steel plant.

Keep on rollin', Norman.

You ain't headed
nowhere but the slammer.

Daisy, you stay here and wait
for Uncle Jesse and Cooter.

- Come on.
- Right.

Come on.

- You alright?
- 'Course, I'm alright, come on.

- Come on, up, up, up.
- Yeah.

Look out.

You stay after 'em.
I'll try and cut 'em off.

Oh, argh.

Come on, just drop it.

Well, the Duke luck
was with old Luke.

You see besides being nervous

old Norman was also a coward.

Somebody else had
to do his killin' for him.

Up close.

Uncle Jesse and
Cooter radio'ed the FBI

and told them where they's at.

Norman and Jake would be
the guest at the federal prison

for more years
than they had left.

- Hey.
- Hey.

Boss got off the
hook with Norman.

But not with Lulu.

Lulu wanted everythin'
just like it was.

And though old Boss collected
his insurance for the stuff

that had been stolen from him.

The Insurance paid
what the stuff cost

when he bought it years ago.

We all know how price's
have gone up now a days.

As for the Dukes.

Well, tonight was
the opening night

for the Hazzard church's
little theater group players.

And just like everythin'
else here in Hazzard.

The show must go on.
