♪ Hey, go, Ninjago ♪

[Cole] "The Traveller's Tree."

-[all groaning]
-Everyone okay?

Now I know how my socks
feel in the dryer.

[Kai] I think I swallowed
my teeth.

-Aah!
-Ooh.

Looks like we made it
to the Never-Realm.

[all yell]

What was that?

[gasps]

We have to get out of here.

Now!

Huh?

Wait.

Do you have the Traveller's Tea?

-So we can get back home?
-What?

Aah!

Cole, we need that tea
to get back, remember?

After we find Zane?

So do you still have it?

Oh, no.

Cole, Cole, Cole...

You let us down, Cole.

It must still be in there.

Once you've found it,
you can be our friend again.

Whoa.

But-- It's about to fall.

You should have thought about
that before you lost the tea.

Go!

Aah!

Oh, boy.

Oh, gosh, please don't fall,
please, please don't fall...

[whimpers]

[yells]

[Jay] Cole.

-Cole, wake up.
-[screams]

It's okay, buddy.

You're okay.

You.

-Huh?
-I can't believe you did that.

You made me go back
to the Bounty

for the Traveller's Tea,
and it fell off a cliff.

I what?

Cole, relax, buddy,
it was just a nightmare.

And you.

You were even worse.

You said I let you down.

Well, it was a mistake. Okay?

Sometimes things just happen.

Hey, we understand.

-It's okay.
-Yeah, right.

That's not what you said
in my dream.

[sighs]
It's too early for this.

Maybe we should go after him?

He'll calm down.

[kid giggles]

[Sorla] Ice and water.

They are different,
but the same.

You must only remember
who you are

and believe in yourself.

Good.

But I... I feel it changing.

Freezing.

It's becoming more difficult.

Change is inevitable.

It is the nature of all things.

Life itself.

[Sorla] But still,
it remains water.

You must feel the truth of this.

[grunts]

Do not fight it.

Embrace the change.

You must believe
in yourself, Nya...

[grunts]

Oh. I can't.

It's impossible.

It will obey.

When your need is greatest,

you must only remember
who you are.

Try again.

[sighs]

[panting]

-[Cole] Nya.
-[gasps]

I think the others are--

Ugh.

Oh, you were in the middle of...
Sorry.

Another Cole mistake.

Cole, wait.

Come, try again.

[grumbles]

[kid crying]

Hey there, kiddo. What's wrong?

Mr Ninja.

Nothing. I'm okay.

You can call me Cole.

It's just... I'm supposed
to play with my friends,

but I lost our ball.

Now, I'm afraid
they'll hate me forever.

Yeah. I get it.

How can you possibly get it?

You're a Ninja.

You're not afraid
of anything. Ever.

Sure I am. I make mistakes, too.

Sometimes. Little ones.

That they just keep
reminding you about

over and over until you--

Uh, heh. What I meant to say is,

why don't you find another ball?

Or try to make one?

-How?
-I don't know.

Out of snow, or something.

That's a great idea.

You look like you also have
a problem, Mr Ninja.

Yeah.

I lost something, too.

But it's more important
than a ball.

And now, because of me,
we may never get back home.

Oh. That's not a big deal.

Just go to the Traveller's Tree.

When travellers are stuck,

they're supposed
to go to the tree.

Wait.

Did you say, "Traveller's Tree"?

Oh, I hope that means
what I think it does.

Where is it? Is it here?

Not here. Up there.

That's a big help.

Now, go. Talk to your friends.

I'll bet they're
waiting for you.

Bye, Mr Ninja. Good luck.

[grunting]

I told you there wouldn't be
any fish up here.

I said it would be
a waste of time.

You never said that.

I said that.

I said how could there
be fish on a mountain--

Unh!

[both laugh]

Uthaug.

[yells]

Uthaug. Uthaug!

-[gasps]
-Aah.

Uthaug. Hold on.

-Grab my hand.
-[groans]

Grab on.

[grunts]

[yells]

Oh, pull me up, quick!

I... I can't. You're too heavy.

What are you trying to say?

[groans]

[both yell]

Huh?

Hey, guys.

Boy are we glad to--

[both yelling]

[Cole groaning]

Here, friend.

This fish jerky is some
of the last we've saved.

What?

We heard rumours
about a mountain stream

that wasn't frozen, but...

When we got here,
we saw it was solid ice.

Like everything else.

If it wasn't for you,

this trip would
have been our last.

Well, if I hadn't have
gotten lost

trying to find
the Traveller's Tree,

our paths might
never have crossed.

Oh...
You're looking for the tree?

Yeah, you know where it is?

Up there.

But you can't go that way.

That is the home of Krag.

Krag? What's a Krag?

"What's the Krag?"

Oh, nothing important,
just a living nightmare!

A fearsome beast
that defends the tree.

It's feet tall, covered in
red fur and yellow teeth and--

Yellow fur and red teeth.

Red teeth?

Where did you hear
such nonsense, Uthaug?

It's not nonsense, Boma.

My great-great-grandfather
saw it once.

Well, my great-great-grandmother
was with him

when he saw it
and her eyes were better.

[Cole] Wait, hang on.

Has either of you
actually seen this "Krag"?

-Well, no.
-Not exactly.

Well, how do you know
he even exists?

We have heard him.

He makes a roaring sound
at night.

Shh... Just listen.

[Uthaug imitates roaring]

-That's you.
-What?

I can see your lips moving.

Oh, sorry.

He's probably asleep.

Okay, well, I'm not worried.

But the part about the tree,
is that part real?

Have you guys seen it?

-Well, no.
-Not exactly.

[groans]
Oh, great.

Look, Krag or no Krag,
I gotta be sure.

I gotta try.

See you around, guys.

[grunting]

[ground crunches]

Huh?

Whoa...

The Traveller's Tree.

[panting]

-[Krag roaring]
-What?

Krag!

[Cole grunts and yells]

Hey, Nya. Have you see Cole?

We figured he needed
some space to cool off,

but now we're getting worried.

Not since this morning.

[Boma] Your friend is up there.

-What?
-Cole?

He is on the mountain.

We tried to tell him not to go.

But he would not listen.

He is looking
for the Traveller's Tree.

Up there.

[Krag roaring]

Gumdrops.
