(* Music )

Scrambler:
oh, man!

Another awesome day in fixham!

Yes!
Let's go to the farm!

Nuh-uh,

I want to see what bob
and the team are doing.

And we always have more fun
when we do what I want!

Good morning,
team.

Good morning,
team.

I've just
had a call

From the manager
of fixham museum, david mockney.

Yes, and he wants us
to get over there right away!

So, come on,
team!

( Engines rev )

It'll be exciting there!

Scram to the museum!

Ah, bob!

We're just about
to open a big show,

And now this happens!

What kind of show,
mr. Mockney?

It's all about when fixham
was first built, muck.

Machines:
wow!

Rock 'n' roll!

So, what seems to be
the problem, david?

Well, it's these pillars,
wendy.

They're crumbling.

The whole thing
could fall down!

Don't worry,
mr. Mockney.

My team will have that
fixed up in no time!

(* Music )

Oh, this does look exciting!

Oh, um, there
you go, bob!

All safe.

Come on,
mr. Mockney!

I can't wait to see what fixham
was like back in the olden days.

Okay, team.

Let's prop up the roof
and take out these pillars.

Can we fix it!?

Together:
yes we can!

Oh, uh, yeah,
I think so...

(* Music )

( Ratchet clicking )

This is a model of fixham
as it first was.

Oh!

Who built it?

Ah, well, they say
it was the first man

To arrive in the harbor--
brickbeard the pirate!

Spud & scrambler:
brickbeard!

Yes!

Look.

Some people say this museum
used to be his house.

I thought pirates
buried treasure,

Not built towns!

Ah, well, actually,
brickbeard is supposed

To have hidden treasure
somewhere in fixham...

His gold hammer!

Hmm, of course,
it's only a story.

A golden hammer...
Wow, that sounds awesome!

(* Harp music )

( Brakes screech )

( Gasps )
brickbeard the pirate!

( Laughing heartily )

Where are you going to hide
your golden hammer,

Captain brickbeard?

Somewhere you'll never guess,
scrambler, ya scurvy rogue!

No one'll ever find
me golden hammer!

Ha-har.

(* Harp music )

(* Pirate music )

Oh, spud!

I was just imagining
brickbeard!

The golden hammer
was in an old, red box.

Look!

Maybe the golden hammer's
in there!

Hey!

Wouldn't it be awesome

If we could give bob
that golden hammer?

But the box is locked,

And mr. Mockney said
no one's ever found the key.

Yeah...

But I bet the key's
hidden in here somewhere!

You have to go back in
and look for it, spud!

(* Music )

Good!

It's time to move
the old pillars away.

Here goes, bob!

Coming down!

( Bang! )

( Boom! )

Where should I look?

Everywhere, spud!

Oh,
all right.

(* Lively music )

( Gasps )
spud!

( Gasps )

(* Music continues )

Spud!

Aaaaggh!

Oh, dear!

I'm ever so sorry,
mr. Mockney!

Oh, that's it!
Out, spud, out!

Oh, my goodness!

What happened?

Spud here has been fiddling
with my exhibits!

And now
this helmet's stuck!

Sorry,
mr. Mockney!

I'll help spud get it off
as soon as we're finished.

(* Music )

I've had enough,
scrambler.

There probably isn't
any golden hammer anyway.

No!

We have to keep looking!

Where would brickbeard
have hidden that key?

( Gasps )
what about the chimney?

I'm not going up there!

I can't even see out
of this silly helmet.

How am I gonna
get up on a roof?

Don't worry!

I've got a awesome idea!

Oh, I don't wanna do this,
scrambler!

I don't like heights!

Shouldn't we ask bob first?

No!

Because...uh...
Well, he's busy.

Right?

Oh, uh, okay then.

( Whirring )

There!
All done,

Except for putting
these fallen tiles

Back on the roof.

( Lofty's crane whirs )

Oh, do I have to do this,
scrambler?

I can't even see properly!

Don't worry, spud!

I'll tell you what to do
from down here!

Awhhh!

Left a little...
Now right a little...

Oh, uh, which way,
scrambler?

Uh, I can't do it!

Yes, you can,
it's easy!

You've just got to drop
spud down the chimney!

Drop him!?

Drop me!?

Yeah!

Oh...
Uh, okay!

There!
Good as new!

Aaaaaaarrgghhh!!!

( Crash! )

Spud!

What are you doing?

And why is lofty helping you?

Heh-heh...i'm sorry, bob,
i-i didn't want to!

Oh, bob!

It isn't spud's fault
or lofty's--

I made them do it!

Why!?

Well, um...

Uh, I can't say!

It's a surprise...
For you, bob!

Thanks, scrambler,

But I'm not sure
I want a surprise,

If it means
dropping spud through the roof!

( Gasps )
oh dear!

Sorry, spud.

I won't make you do anything
you don't want to again.

Good!

Now, I'd better
get this roof fixed!

(* Music )

( Drill whirrs )

( Bam )

You were right, spud.

There probably isn't
any silly key anyway.

Oh, yes there is!

It was inside that roof
I fell into!

Spud!

Now we can open the box

A-a-and get
the golden hammer for bob!

Well, you know,
if you want to.

Oh, yes!

As long as I don't have
to go up on the roof again!

Um, uh, mr. Mockney?

Could you tell me some more
about the golden hammer, please?

David mockney: oh, it's just an
old story, scrambler, a legend.

It probably
doesn't even exist really.

( Door slams )

( Giggles )
come on, let's try the key!

( Gasps )
it fits!

Here it comes!

The golden hammer!

Together:
awww!!!

It's just
a piece of paper.

But look!

A picture of a bear!

What can that mean?

I know!

It means the golden hammer
must be hidden somewhere...

With a bear!

Oh, you mean
it's a clue!

Yeah!

We're gonna to do it, spud!

No matter what it takes,

We're going to find
that golden hammer for bob!

A bear?

Voice of brickbeard:
ahoy there, shipmates!

Brickbeard here,

The pirate who built fixham!

It's been a long time
since I was in fixham,

But I left
some treasure behind!

D'you remember what it was?

Har-har!

Me golden hammer!

Spud and scrambler
would love to find me treasure.

They thought it was
in this old, red box,

But all they found was a clue.

Remember what it was?

Har-har!

A bear!

But how's a bear gonna help
to find me golden hammer?

Well, shipmates,

See if you can find out
what me clue means

In the next part of "the legend
of the golden hammer!"

(* Music )

Bob's gonna get
an awesome surprise

When we find
the golden hammer, spud!

Yes, scrambler,
but how are we--

The golden hammer,

Hidden in fixham long ago
by brickbeard the pirate!

( Laughing heartily )

Where are you going
to hide your golden hammer,

Captain brickbeard?

Somewhere you'll never guess,
scrambler, ya scurvy rogue!

No one'll ever find
me golden hammer, ha-har!

Spud:
how are we going to find it?

Huh?
Blblblbl!

All we've got's this clue--
a picture of a bear!

Where are we going to find
a bear in fixham?

Bob:
morning, team!

I've had a call
from mrs. Toosey

At the fixham toy store.

Oh, um, she has lots
and lots of toys, doesn't she?

Yes, lofty!

And she wants
a big new window,

So everyone
can see them.

Let's go!

( Engines running )

Hello, mrs. Toosey!

Is that the window
we're making bigger?

Oh, yes, bob!

Oh, yeah.

It is kind of hard to see
the toys through it, isn't it?

Ooh, uh,
are they all inside?

Whoa!

You do have
a lot of toys!

Yes, lofty,

And the children will be able
to see them all

Through my new window!

I'll put this beautiful
old toy cupboard in the middle,

And all the toys around it!

Ohhh, hello there,
teddy bears!

They're so cute.

Oh, I'll just move them
over here,

So they won't get dusty
while you're working.

Taking out the old window

Will be kind
of bangy and crashy!

I know you're only toys,

But will you be scared,
bears?

Maybe I should take you
somewhere quiet.

I'd better not
tell anyone though!

They'll just think I'm silly!

( Tires screech )

Hello, mrs. Toosey!

Uh, we-we're looking
for a bear!

Have you seen any?

Oh...
( Giggles )

Not any real ones, spud!

I do have some teddy bears
in my store, though.

Teddy bears?

Find the teddy bears,

And we'll find
the golden hammer!

Well, no one's
inside the toy store,

So we can knock
that window down safely.

Teddy bears...

Here I come!!

Okay, team,
time to start!

Can we fix it?

Together:
yes, we can!

( Bam! )

(* Music )

Here we are, teddy bears!

No noise!

Oh!

Hello, foxes!

Hello, lofty?

I need your help.

Oh, um,
just coming, bob!

I'll be back to see you
really soon, teddy bears!

(* Music )

Okay, team!

We're going to knock
a bigger hole

For the new window!

( Crane whirs )

Scrambler:
spud!!!

Spud!!!

I think you'd better stop
looking for teddy bears

For a minute, spud!

Stop?

Why?

( Boom! )

Aaaaaaargh!!

That was
a very bad idea!

( Boom! )

( Ratchet clicking )

(* Music )

( Tapping )

( Drill whirrs )

It doesn't matter
how noisy the building is now!

The teddy bears
are far away!

Huh?

Did you say teddy bears?

Have you seen
some teddy bears, lofty?

Yes,
in the toy store.

I took them to the woods.

The woods?
Why?

Well, it's kind of silly.

Don't worry about that!

Just show us,
quickly!

( Engines rev )

Oh!

Uh, it's empty!

They're gone!

Gone!?

I've lost them!

I'll never see
those teddy bears again!

And we'll never find
the golden hammer!

All:
oh, no!

You lost
mrs. Toosey's teddy bears?

Yes, bob.

I thought they'd be frightened
by the building noises,

So I took them far away.

But they're just toys,
lofty.

I know.

It was really silly.

That's why I didn't
tell anyone.

Oh, lofty!

You should have told us.

Yes, dear.

We'd have helped you,
you know!

Really?

Yes!

And we're going to help you
now to find those missing bears!

Spud, we have to find
those teddy bears

Before bob does!

Yes!

If bob finds the teddy bears,
he'll find the golden hammer!

And then, it won't
be a surprise!

( Gasps )

(* Suspenseful music )

Now where can
those teddy bears have gone?

Oh,
hello again, foxes!

Lofty, did you see
those foxes before,

When you had the bears?

Uh...yes.

I think
we'd better follow them.

(* Music )

( Engines rumble )

Shh!

( Foxes barking )

Lofty:
the teddy bears!

The foxes took them!

Foxes do sometimes
take things, lofty!

Lofty:
look!
A baby fox!

That's why they took them.

So it could play!

Oh.
( Giggles )

Well, why don't we let
baby fox have a teddy bear?

I still have
plenty for my store!

(* Music )

Yip-yip!

Oh,
you're welcome, baby fox!

I don't get it,
scrambler!

We found the teddy bears...

But where's
the golden hammer?

The clue must
have been wrong.

(* Music )

Lofty:
oh, look, bob.

Now I can see the teddy bears,
whenever I go by.

It's no good,
scrambler!

We'll never find
the golden hammer now.

Just have one last look
in the toy store, spud.

Maybe there's a teddy bear
we didn't see, huh?

( Sighs )
all right.

Where would you like
this cupboard, mrs. Toosey?

Oh, right there
in the window,

Please, bob!

( Gasps )

A teddy bear!

Another red box!

Just like the one
we found the clue in!

( Machines cheering )

Aww...
( Giggles )

The golden hammer
must be inside!

Quick, spud,
open it!

Yes!
The golden ha-ha--oh!

This isn't a golden hammer!

No, but it is
another clue!

A dragon!

We have to find
a dragon, spud!

First, it was a bear,
now a dragon!

Where are we gonna find
a dragon in fixham?

I don't know, spud!

But we've got to start looking!

We'll find
that golden hammer

For bob somewhere...

I just know it!

Voice of brickbeard:
ahoy there, shipmates!

It's brickbeard
the pirate again!

Spud and scrambler are still
searchin' for me treasure--

The golden hammer!

But it ain't gonna
be easy to find!

I left some clues though.

First, a bear!

D'you remember where spud
and scrambler found one?

Har-har!

In the toyshop!

It was a teddy bear

Sitting on top of a red box,

But me golden hammer
wasn't inside.

It were another clue!

A dragon!

So, shipmates,

Will spud and scrambler
find a dragon in fixham?

And will it lead 'em
to me treasure?

Keep watchin'!

And see if you
can spot a dragon,

In the next part of "the
legend of the golden hammer!"

(* Music )

So we're looking for
this golden hammer

To give to bob as a surprise?

Yeah, spud!

It was hidden in fixham,
long ago...

By brickbeard the pirate.

No one'll ever
find me golden hammer!

Har-har!

(* Harp )

( Gasps )

How will
we find it?

All we've got
is this clue!

But brickbeard left it
to tell us where to look!

If we find a dragon,
we'll find the golden hammer!

But dragons are scary!

Bob:
hello, team!

( Engines rumble )

Ela, the teacher,
just called from fixham school.

There's a problem
with their wall!

No prob', bob!

Can we fix it?

Together:
yes, we can!

Uh, yeah, I think so!

( Engines rumble )

Let's start looking there!

But dragons
don't go to school...

Do they?

( Vroom! )

Ela's right.

This wall's very old!

Hey...

What's this?

Oh, it's some kind of picture!

(* Chinese music )

Oh! Oh!
It's a dragon!

No, lofty!

It's ela
and the children!

Children:
hi!

Hi, bob!

We're practicing for our special
dragon dance tonight!

(* Chinese music )

Bye!

(* Chinese music )

( Gasps )
scrambler, look!

A dragon!

Awesome!

Let's follow it!

But dragons
are s-s-s-scary!!

Whoa!

Muck!

Bob says he needs us
on the other side!

Bob:
scoop!
We're ready!

Coming, bob!

Come on, muck!

This old picture's so pretty.

There's an ear...

And a tongue...

And a wing!

( Crane whirs )

Whoa!
( Bam! )

Muck!

What are you doing there?

You could have been hurt!

Sorry, bob!

I was looking at the...

( Gasps )
it's gone!

There was a picture
on the wall!

A picture?

Are you sure?

It just looks like
a load of bricks to me, muck!

No!

There was a picture,

A really good one!

Um, okay...come on!

We'd better get on
with the job!

Oh...

Why won't anyone believe me?

Hey!

I could put it together again!

Then they'd see it!

( Thud! )

Muck, can you
do a job for me?

I need
these bricks taken away.

Take the bricks away?

Mm-hmm.

All right!

To the supplier's yard!

Why are they
going there, bob?

Wendy's going to sort
through them, scoop.

So we can use some
again in our wall!

(* Music )

Here are the new bricks,
bob!

Thanks, packer!

Once I've used these,
I'll need the ones muck took!

(* Music )

Hello,
farmer pickles!

Would you like a wall?

( Chuckles )
I don't think so, muck.

My sheep wouldn't be able
to get to their hay!

( Sighs )
ohhh.

What's this wall for
anyway, muck?

It's special,
travis!

It's got a picture on it!

Really?

It just looks like
bricks to me.

Oh, I'll build it
somewhere!

Then you'll see!

Bob, we've run out
of bricks!

We need those old ones!

I wonder if wendy
sorted them yet?

( Cell phone beeps )

Hello, wendy?

Muck hasn't
turned up yet, bob!

That's funny!

We'd better go
and find her!

( Beep )

( Engines rumbling )

( Brakes screech )

I thought we were following
the dragon, scrambler!

Yeah!

But you're right, spud!

It's really scary!

Ohh!

( Dragon roars )

Perfect!

It won't
get in the way here!

(* Music )

( Glub, glub, glub )

There is a picture,
I knew it!

So this is your wall,
huh, muck?

It's kind of a funny picture.

I know, but...

Hold on,
it's sinking!

Sinking!?

Yes, muck!

It's all soggy here!

Quick,
or you'll sink too!

But my picture...
I have to save the bricks!

( Bam! )

( Gasps )
oh, no!

I'm sinking!

( Whirring )

Heave, lofty!
Heave!

( Engine revs )

Oh, muck!

What were you doing?

Oh, bob, I'm sorry!

I wanted to put the wall
back together

To make the picture I saw!

No one believes me.

Well, muck,
at least you're safe.

And so are the bricks,
thanks to you!

You know,
maybe we can put them together!

We can reuse nearly all
of the old bricks, bob!

Great, wendy!

You say where to put them, muck!

Yeah!

We want to see
this picture!

( All agree )

Scrambler:
run, everyone, run!

There's a dragon coming!

Ooooh!

That's not a dragon.

It's ela and the children.

( Laughing )

Together:
hi!

Come on,
everyone!

We've got a wall to finish!

And a picture too!

It's not a dragon!

But that means

It won't lead us
to the golden hammer!

We have to find another dragon!

Oh, no!

Scrambler:
oh, yeah!

(* Music )

Look, it really
is a picture!

Um, what is it?

Parts of it are missing!

We can paint them in,
if you'd like, muck.

Yes, please,
ela!

(* Soft music )

( Muck gasps )

It's a dragon!

Together:
oh, yeah!

And tonight,
we can do our dragon dance

In front of it!

(* Chinese music )

( Laughter )

( Applause )

Aw, the children's dragon
looks amazing!

Yes, muck,
and so does yours!

Oh, scrambler,
I can't search anymore.

Spud, look,

It's just like the dragon
on brickbeard's clue!

Look at the dragon's tongue!

And this brick's all wobbly!

Scrambler:
a red box!

The golden hammer
must be inside!

Yes, it's...

Oh, it's just another clue!

What is it?

I don't know, spud,
but brickbeard left it for us,

And it's going to lead us
to the golden hammer!

I just know it will!

Voice of brickbeard:
ahoy there, shipmates!

It's yer ol' pal,
brickbeard the pirate!

And here's me treasure!

Me golden hammer's hidden
somewhere in fixham.

But all spud and scrambler
have found

Is some of the clues
I left behind.

Here's the first one...
A bear!

That led 'em to a teddy bear.

And underneath it
was another clue...

A dragon!

But there ain't
no real dragons in fixham.

Ha!

D'you remember
what they did find?

A painting of a dragon!

Ha-ha!

And its tongue
was pointing to something.

But me golden hammer

Weren't in
that red box neither!

D'you remember what was?

Ha-har!
Another clue!

What d'you suppose
that could be, shipmates?

Could it lead to me treasure?

Keep watching and find out

In the next part of "the legend
of the golden hammer!"

(* Music )

We're gonna find
the golden hammer today, spud!

I can feel it.

And then we can give it
to bob as a surprise!

The golden hammer...

Hidden in fixham
hundreds of years ago,

By brickbeard the pirate!

No one'll ever find
me golden hammer!

Ha-har!

( Startled )
oh, uh, uh...

We won' find it

If we can't work out
this clue that brickbeard left.

Yeah.

We need to find
something in fixham

That looks like this.

( Engine rumbles )

Where are you all going,
bob?

To the lighthouse,
scrambler.

The harbormaster
wants it fixed.

Let's go!

( Engines rumble )

Hey!

Maybe the clue matches
something at the lighthouse.

Yes!

Let's look there first!

( Vroom! )

Hello, bob.

We're off to harvest
the potatoes.

Would you like some?

Yes, please,
farmer pickles!

We'll drop
some off at the yard.

( Engines rumble )

( Vroom! )

( Brakes screech )

Okay, team,
there's lots to do today!

I'll be doing
all the biggest jobs--as usual!

If you say so, scoop!

Let's look at the plans.

First, we'll clear
this overgrown path.

( Computer beeps )

Then replace the door
and windows...

( Beep )
and paint the front.

( Beep )

Last of all, we'll fix
the big light at the top.

( Beep beep )

It needs a lot of work!

Yes, dizzy!

It hasn't been used
since brickbeard's time!

Spud & scrambler:
brickbeard the pirate?!

Yes.

He was supposed
to be the last person

To ever climb up inside!

Maybe the golden hammer
is here!

(* Sea chantey )

It's splasher.

Hi, everybody!

What are you
doing here?

I've come to help with anything
big that needs doing!

What?

But the big jobs are my jobs.

I always do them!

Come on, team,
let's get started.

Can we build it?

Together:
yes, we can!

Uh, yeah,
I think so.

(* Music )

Can someone
move this pile, please?

Yeah, I'll help,
roley!

Uh, I'll do that,
splasher.

It's a big job,

And I do all the big jobs
around here.

( Metal rattling )

What was that noise!?

Sounded like chains...

Like brickbeard's anchor chain!

Maybe he's come back
for his golden hammer!

Oh, no!

We'd better find it quick!

( Vroom! )

Ha-ha!

See, bob,
these big jobs are easy.

I love them.

We still have
a lot to do, scoop.

Can you move this pile
over there?

Yeah!

No prob', bob!

I'll help,
scoop!

No thanks, splasher.

This is a big job,

And I do all the big jobs
around here!

Oh! Uh...
I can't see!

( Tires screech )

Ohhhhh...
Whoa!!!

( Splash! )

Scoop!

Are you okay?

I'm fine...
Heh-heh.

I suppose I tried
to lift too much.

Don't worry,
I'll get you out!

Let splasher help
next time, scoop.

But I don't want splasher
to do my big jobs.

Bob:
okay.

We have to clear the refuse
and reuse what we can,

Then repair the broken windows.

Come on, team,
let's get on with it!

(* Music )

( Window creaking )

( Machine rumbles )

( Crane whirring )

I'm ready
for the new panes of glass.

Anyone free?

I'll help,
bob!

Scoop:
oh no!

That looks like a big job!

I do all the big jobs.

Uh-oh...whoa!!!

( Glass shatters )

Oh, I broke the glass!

I'm so sorry, bob,
I went too fast.

You have to be careful
around glass, scoop.

But don't worry;
I have some more.

Maybe you're tired
from working so hard, scoop!

No!

I'm really strong
and I can do more big jobs!

Okay!

Can you pick up some cement
from the yard, scoop?

No prob', bob!

And, splasher,

Can you pick up some paint
from the store?

Of course,
I'll be back soon.

And then I'll help you
with the last jobs, bob!

Oh, no!

I don't want splasher
doing my last big jobs!

Splasher:
see you later,
alligator!

Oh!

Splasher's gonna
get back before me.

I have to go faster!

That's the last sack
of potatoes unloaded.

I hope bob's hungry!
Ha-ha!

Ah-ha!

These must be the sacks
of cement.

I have to hurry!

I have to get back
before splasher,

Or he'll do one
of my big jobs!

I did it,
I'm back first!

( Brakes screech )

Uh-oh, I'm skidding!

Whoa...
I can't stoppp!

( Gasps )
brickbeard!

No,
it's scoop!

And he's gonna crash!

Whoa!

Arghhh!

( Bang! )

Oh!!!

Are you okay?

I'm so sorry!

( Crane whirrs )

There.

I'm fine, but...

Here's your paint, bob.

Wow!

What are all
these potatoes for?

Good question!

Oh, no!

I must have picked up
the wrong bags!

I was in a hurry.

Why?

Because I wanted
to get back first,

So splasher didn't
do all my big jobs.

But, scoop, there are
so many big jobs to do.

I didn't mean to upset you,
scoop.

I just wanted to help.

Hey, splasher,
wait!

I've been really silly.

Maybe we could share
some of the big jobs.

Share?

Yeah!

If I clear up the potatoes,

Then you could do
the other big job...

Picking up the cement!

Really, scoop?

You want me to do
one of your big jobs?

Of course!

Come on!

(* Music )

Wendy:
oh, it looks wonderful, bob!

All we need to do now
is get that light working.

Look!

There's someone
in the lighthouse!

It's brickbeard the pirate!

Hello!
Only me!

( Clink )

The light works!

But the glass is filthy!

Come on, bob.

( Vroom! )

( Metal rattling )

Hey!

There's that sound again!

A-and there's something here.

( Creak! )

Wow!
It's an old well!

Scrambler, look!

The clue!

( Gasps )
it's a bucket on a chain.

This is it!

It wasn't brickbeard's chains
we heard clanking!

It was this chain!

And look!

Another red box!

The golden hammer?

Oh, no!

It's another clue!

It's just a box!

How's that going to help us
find the golden hammer?

I don't know, spud,
but we have to keep looking

Until we find
that golden hammer for bob!

(* Pirate music )

Voice of brickbeard:
ahoy, shipmates!

It's brickbeard the pirate
here again.

Spud and scrambler still
ain't found me golden hammer!

I did leave 'em
some clues though.

Wanna see 'em again?

Here's the first--
a bear!

That one led 'em
to a teddy bear.

Where they found
me next clue...

A dragon!

They followed that one
to a dragon painting.

And found me third clue.

D'you remember what
that one turned out to be?

Ha-har!

Now you see what it is...

A bucket on a line!

In that bucket
were another red box!

But it weren't
me golden hammer inside.

It were me fourth clue.

Looks a bit like a box,
don't it?

Well, whatever it is,
it could lead to me treasure!

Har-har!

So keep watching and find out
in the next part

Of "the legend
of the golden hammer!"

(* Music )

Spud:
where do you think brickbeard

Hid
the golden hammer, scrambler?

I don't know, spud,

But it must be here
in fixham somewhere...

(* Harp )

No one'll ever find
me golden hammer!

Ha-har!

(* Harp )

If we are going to find it,

We have to work
out this clue brickbeard left.

It's some sort of box.

Where did I leave my computer?

Oh, here it is, bob!

Oh, thanks, dizzy!

You're good at finding things!

Now we can get going
to the theatre.

We're fixing it up today.

Come on, team!

(* Music )

( Engines rumble )

The theatre!

Maybe something there
will look like our clue!

And lead us
to the golden hammer!

( Vroom! )

Okay, team,
this is today's job.

We'll be making a frame
for the lights,

( Computer beeping )

And hanging new curtains,
ready for tonight!

( Beep )

What's happening
tonight?

Tonight, i, dickie olivier,
will be performing!

I'm the theatre manager,
and lead actor!

What's an actor?

It's someone
who goes on stage

And tells stories, dizzy.

But in the theatre world,
we call them plays!

Tonight's is
"the legend of brickbeard."

Brickbeard the pirate?

Yes!

He lived in fixham
many years ago.

Then one day...

( Whispers )
he disappeared!

I bet I could find him.
( Giggles )

Let's get started,
team.

Can we build it?

Together:
yes, we can!

Oh, uh, yeah,
I think so.

( Clank! )

( Whirring )

( Tool clicking )

Oh no!
We've run out of cement.

I'll get some more, bob.

( Gasps )

It's brickbeard!

Oh, I found him!
He's come back!

Together:
brickbeard!?

Quick!

Oh...

He's gone.

Together:
awww!

It was brickbeard.

Why won't anyone believe me?

Hello, dickie.

What are you doing?

Learning my lines for the play,
dizzy.

It's hard,
but I'm going to keep trying,

Until I know them all!

I'll keep trying too.

I'll find brickbeard again.

(* Music )

Oh, look,
it's the trapdoor!

Uh, what's a trapdoor,
wendy?

Well, there's usually...

Uh, uh,
I think,

An elevator to carry things
up onto the stage.

Dizzy, lofty, can you get
the next backdrop?

Oh, uh, yeah,
I think so.

( Whirring )

Oh, look!

It's brickbeard's pirate ship,
the bonny beard!

Pirate voice:
shiver me timbers,
ar-ha-ha...

( Gasps )
shhh!

( Whispers )
brickbeard's here!

Behind that bush!

Hello, everybody!

( All gasp )

( Rip! )

Lofty!

You tore the bonny beard!

Oh, I'm sorry, bob,
I thought you were brickbeard!

Brickbeard!?

Yeah, dizzy thinks
she found him!

Brickbeard's just a story.

Now, we need
to fix this backdrop.

Come on!

Oh, hello, dickie.

Have you learned your lines yet?

No, dizzy.

It's difficult,

But I can't give up!

Now, where did
I put that hat?

Dickie's
still not giving up,

So I'l keep trying too!

I will find brickbeard!

See?

( Giggles )
I found his hat!

Wow!
( Gasps )

Put it somewhere safe.

I'm going to find brickbeard!

Uh...there's a phone
in here!

Huh?

So do pirates
use cell phones?

(* Music )

( Whirring )

( Click! )

( Gasps )
look!

It's brickbeard!

Whoa!
( Thud! )

Sorry, muck!

But, look,
brickbeard's on stage!

There's no one there,
dizzy.

But I did see brickbeard!

( Dizzy sighs )

No one ever sees him,
except me.

I give up!

Wait!

It's brickbeard's cape!

Oh, dickie was right.

Never give up!

I will find brickbeard!

Oh, there's a nametag.

Uh, "this cape
belongs to..."

I can't read the rest.

Do pirates have
nametags too, spud?

( Distant laughter )

Pirate voice:
this is my pirate ship...

Brickbeard!
I've found him!

Shiver me timbers!

Walk the plank!
Yes...

( Gasps )

Oh, hello, dizzy!

It's me, dickie!

You're brickbeard?

Uh, yes,
I'm playing brickbeard,

But I'm no good at it.

Oh, I feel like giving up!

No!

I was going to give up
looking for brickbeard,

But I didn't
and I found him.

It's you!

Yes, yes, dizzy,
you're right.

I am brickbeard!

Oh, but I've lost
my pirate's hat and cape.

( Giggles )
I know where they are!

Come on!

(* Music )

Oh my!
The show's starting!

Ar-har!

I'm brickbeard and I'm
looking for my golden hammer!

Have any of you taken it?

It wasn't us!
We can't find it!

We-we don't even know
what this clue is!

Spud, it's not
brickbeard!

It's dickie the actor!

( Gasps )

Spud!

Get off the stage,
please!

Oh, dear...

( Backdrop creaking )

Ohhh!

( Trapdoor whirs )

Spud!

You opened the trapdoor!

And look!

That frame looks
just like the clue!

I'll take that!

( Whirring )

( Trapdoor slams )

( Applause )

Spud!

The golden hammer?

Uugh! No...

It's just another clue!

Oh, it's a picture
of a boat!

Well, there are loads
of boats in fixham!

Oh, where did brickbeard hide
this silly golden hammer?

Haar-haaarggh!

Together:
ohhhh! Ahhhh!

You really are
a brilliant actor, dickie!

Thanks, dizzy,

But I couldn't have done it
without you!

( Chuckling )

Voice of brickbeard:
ahoy there, shipmates!

It's me again,
brickbeard the pirate!

I thought no one would
ever find me golden hammer!

But spud and scrambler's
close, shipmates!

And all 'cause I left 'em
such good clues!

Har-har!

Let's take another look.

First clue I left was a bear!

That led 'em to a teddy bear,

Where they found
me second clue...

A dragon!

That led to a painting
of a dragon!

And that painting led 'em
to clue number three...

A bucket in a well.

And in that bucket
they found me fourth clue.

That turned out
to be a frame

On the trapdoor
at the theatre,

And inside that frame was
me last and final clue!

D'you remember what it was?

Ha-har!

A boat, shipmates!

But fixham harbor's
full o' boats!

Ol' spud and scrambler,

They's close
to me treasure now,

But they still
has a ways to go!

Keep watching!

Maybe you'll spot
the right boat

Before they do

In the last part of "the legend
of the golden hammer!"

(* Music )

Will we ever find
the golden hammer, scrambler?

It's been missing
for so long.

Yeah, hidden all
those years ago

By brickbeard the pirate!

Brickbeard:
ha-ha-ha...

No one'll ever find
me golden hammer!

Har-har!

We wil find it...

And give it to bob
as a surprise!

But all we've got
is brickbeard's clue--

A picture of a boat.

Well, let's start
at the harbor.

That's where
all the boats are!

( Vroom! )

Now, team!

Today, we're moving
the oldest ship in fixham!

We're putting it
on a platform on land.

So, come on,
let's go!

(* Music )

( Engines rumble )

(* Music continues )

Okay, team.

First, we need
a flat piece of land

To build on.

That's your job,
roley!

Roley?

* Roley and a seagull *

* On the seashore. *

* When we sing,
we go... *

Caw-caw!

( Laughs )

I'd sing with you all day,
mrs. Seagull,

But I'm helping
to move this ship!

( Squawking )

Mrs. Seagull,
what is it?

I'll help you!

Roley!

Caw-caw!

Dizzy!
You scared her off!

Bob needs you!

I'll be back
as soon as I can,

Mrs. Seagull!

( Vroom! )

Uh, which boat first,
scrambler?

Scrambler:
I don't know, spud.

Um...

We'll just have
to keep looking,

Till we find
that golden hammer!

Bob:
okay, roley!

I want you to flatten off
this patch of land,

While we start on the platform.

Okay, bob!

Can we build it?

Together:
yes, we can!

Uh, yeah,
I think so.

( Rumbling )

( Tap, tap )

( Drill whirs )

( Logs thumping )

Caw! Caw!

Roley:
mrs. Seagull!

Caw! Caw!

( Breathless )
oh, can I go and see
my friend mrs. Seagull, bob?

She's on the ship!

Not yet, roley.

We're pulling the ship
out of the water next.

But you can go on board
when it's up on its platform.

( Crane whirs )

Caw! Caw!

Uhhh!

Oh!

Your friend isn't
very friendly, roley!

What's the matter,
mrs. Seagull?

Caw! Caw!

I really need to find out
what's wrong with her!

We should ask bob
what to do!

No, dizzy,
she asked me to help!

Okay, time to get the ship
up onto the platform.

( Whirring )

( Creaking )

( Creaking & cracking )

Ah...

Now can I go on board?

Soon, roley!

First, we have to make it safe,
with props on either side.

Let's go and get them!

Ohhh...

( Engines rumble )

Now what, scrambler?

We've checked all the boats...

( Gasps )
except this one!

Hey!
What's that?

Crossed hammers!

Scrambler:
brickbeard's sign!

This must be his ship...

The bonny beard!

The golden hammer
must be here!

( Engines rumble )

Oh, bob, wendy!

Are you putting
the props up now?

Wendy:
yes, roley!

But they'll have
to be concreted in,

To make sure they're safe.

Oh man...

( Whirring )

(* Music )

( Thud )

Uh, are we going to concrete
in the props now, bob?

Yes, dizzy,

But we've forgotten
the cement!

Back soon!

Hey!
The props are up!

I can go on board!

Dizzy:
no!

Roley, wait!

It's not safe yet!

Hey, the ship's
not tipping over!

It must be okay!

Let's find
the golden hammer!

(* Music )

Caw!

Mrs. Seagull!

Uh-oh,
what was that?

Whoa.

The ship's moving!

Bob!

Roley and spud and scrambler
went aboard the ship!

What?

But it's not safe!

( All gasp )

( Crash! )

( Roley, spud & scrambler
screaming )

( Creaking )

( Splash! )

( Screaming continues )

Uh, we've got to turn
the ship 'round!

But we can't go anywhere
with the sails all wrapped up!

I'm really sorry!

If I'd just
asked bob for help,

None of this
would've ever happened!

Mrs. Seagull:
caw! Caw!

Roley:( gasps )
oh!

I can't ask bob for help now,
but I can ask mrs. Seagull!

Caw!

Roley, how's a seagull

Gonna help turn
this huge ship around?

Caw! Caw! Caw

( Peck-peck-peck... )

She's opening the sails!

Well done, roley!

Actually it's well done,
mrs. Seagull!

Caw! Caw! Caw!

(* Music )

Wendy:
oh, thank goodness
you're safe!

But what were you doing?

I'm really sorry, bob.

I was trying
to help mrs. Seagull,

But I should
have told you.

Please, bob, will you
help me help mrs. Seagull?

Of course, roley,
let's take a look.

( Whirring )

A nest!

No wonder you got upset
when we moved the ship;

You were trying
to protect your eggs!

Cawww!

And there's
something else in here too.

Cawww!

( Gasps )
that's what we were looking for!

What's inside?

Something totally awesome!

We'll show you tonight!

( Vroom! )

( Laughs )
well, of course!

Now, let's get this ship moved.

It's almost time
for the grand opening!

(* Pirate music )

Audience:
wow!

Har-har!

( Cheers & applause )

Seeing dickie dressed up,

It's almost like
brickbeard was real!

He was real!

He built fixham!

Yeah!

And he left something behind!

And we found it
for you, bob!

For me?

(* Tinkling )

The golden hammer!

I thought it was just a story!

I can't believe you two
have found this for me...

My very own golden hammer!

Of course we have,
bob!

You're not just
any old builder,

You're the best builder
ever!

(* Pirate music )

Brickbeard:
yes!

( Hearty laughter )

(* Theme )
