Right around this time of year,
I eat everything I can

to get big and fat.

Why do you do that?

When fall turns to winter,

food is hard to find.

Some animals, like me,
take a long nap,

called hibernation.

And we often don't wake up
until spring.

Wow! Imagine how much food
you'd need to eat

to last all winter.

Well, every little bit helps.

when they grow.
