Caillou:
"sharing the rocketship"

Storyteller:
one day, caillou and leo went
shopping with their mothers

For a very special gift.

Mommy:
do you think clementine would
like this for her birthday?

Yeah!
She loves modelling clay.

Leo's mom:
we've decided to give
her this puzzle.

Right leo?
Leo?

If it was my birthday,
I'd want this!

Caillou:
a rocketship!

Wow, it comes with astronauts
and everything!

Would clementine
like that?

I don't know.
But I do!

Can I have it,
pleeeease?

Me too! I want one!

We're here to buy gifts
for clementine, remember?

Leo's mom:
that's right, leo.

I only planned to buy
one toy today.

And it's not
your birthday!

But...
Can I buy it myself?

I still have some money
grandpa gave me.

Leo's mom:
it isn't quite enough, honey.

Wait!
I have money too!

Why don't we put
our money together

And buy one rocketship...
To share?

Yeah!

Mommy:
I still don't know
about this.

It's hard to share a toy

When you don't live
in the same house.

But we're great
at sharing!

I can have it one day,

And then leo can have it
the next day.

Yeah!

And then you can

And we'll keep sharing it!

And who will get it first?

Both:

Er, you can have it first.
