Today'’s story
is speckle and
the bouncing bubbles.

One sunny day,
speckle and his friends

Were blowing bubbles.

They tried to see
who could make

The most unusual bubble

Or who could make
the most bubbles at once.

Then speckle
took a blade of grass,

Twisted it into a circle,

And made a gigantic bubble.

The bubble
grew over speckle,

Picked him right off
the ground,

And carried him away.

Speckle floated
over the meadow

And saw all of its flowers

Through his shiny
bubble ball.

Then a flower petal
touched the bubble
and it popped.

Speckle dropped
right into a patch
of green soft grass.

It was a perfect landing,
and everyone agreed

Speckle had created
the best bubble
of them all.

The end.

That was a great story.

I could be wrong.

Oh. I hope not.

[Thunder]whoa. There it goes again.

Oh, I can'’t believe
it'’s gonna rain.

Don'’t you, mac?

It'’s one of

[Grunting]
oh! Easy...

Whoa!

Cleo. I-is that

Yes, t-bone. Oy!

It'’s me.

What are you wearing,
cleo?

A raincoat.
Mrs. Diller says

I need it '’cause
it'’s going to rain.

It just can'’t rain.

Ooh. Not today.

[Laughs]
it already is.

Well, we'’ve got to stop it.
We'’ve just got to.

What'’s wrong with mac?

Today'’s the back-to-school
picnic at jetta'’s house,

And they won'’t have it
if it'’s raining.

This rain is gonna
spoil everything.

It'’s gonna get
the ground all muddy.

You cannot have a picnic
when the ground
is all muddy.

Someone has
to do something.

Ok. I will.

[Chomps]
don'’t worry, mac.

I won'’t let
the ground get muddy.

Whoa. Wait a minute,
t-bone.

What are you doing?

Catching rain.
If the rain doesn'’t
hit the ground,

The ground
won'’t get muddy,

And if the ground
isn'’t muddy,

The back-to-school
picnic can go on.

Ha ha. It'’s
a nice idea, t-bone,

But I don'’t think
you can catch
all the rain.

Mmm. Oh. Yeah.
Probably not.
Sorry, mac.

Oh, thanks for trying,
t-bone, but it'’s hopeless.

The picnic is never
going to happen.

Don'’t give up, mac.

Hey, maybe the weatherman
can make it stop raining.

The weatherman?

Yeah. You know,
the guy on tv.

You guys think
the weatherman

Is the one
who makes it rain?

Well, whenever he says
it'’s going to rain,
it rains,

So he must have
something to do with it.

So let'’s go talk to him

And see if he can
make the rain stop.

Wow. It'’s him.

We'’re going to get plenty
of rain, rain, rain

Here on birdwell island today.

We have to get
his attention

And ask him if
he'’ll stop the rain.

to make him

this rain?

the weatherman.

I can only talk
about the weather.

I can'’t change it.

I'’m afraid no one
can change the weather

Unless you dogs
know of a way

To get rid of those
big rain clouds
in the sky.

[Thunder]

That'’s where
the rain comes from.

Now you guys
better get home

Before it really
starts pouring.

Silly rain clouds.
It'’s all their fault

That my picnic
will be canceled.

Maybe we could
blow those clouds away.

That will stop the rain.

We can'’t blow
those clouds away.
They'’re too big.

You can'’t,
but maybe I can.

Mac: I hope
this cloud-blowing works

So the picnic can go on.

Let me see if I can reach
any of these clouds.

Hey, it'’s not raining
above this cloud.

I think
this just might work.

Great.

See what you can
do, clifford.

Here I go.

[Inhales, blows]

Both: go, clifford! Go!

Blow, clifford! Blow!

is going to work, either.

There'’s just no way
to stop the rain.

clifford. For mac.

[Blows]

Uh-oh. I think you broke
the cloud, clifford.

You cannot
break a cloud, t-bone.

for it to pour,
