EMMY:
Hurry, Max.

I'’m ready.

Found them.

I wonder why Quetzal asked us
to bring our ice skates today.

There'’s only one way
to find out.

BOTH:
I wish, I wish

With all my heart

To fly with dragons
In a land apart

[♪♪]

Quetzal said Max and Emmy
are coming today.

I can'’t wait to see them.

You don'’t have to wait.

Yay. You'’re here.

Hola, niños.

I'’m glad you could make it.

ALL:
Hi, Quetzal.

We brought our skates.

Will you tell us
the surprise now?

Please?

Sí.

In fact, I would like
all of you to be the surprise.

Wow, that'’s great.

That'’s really--

Uh...

How can I be a surprise?

Today is the birthday
of my good friend,

Willy the Snow Seal.

I would like to surprise him
with a birthday song.

Will you all help me?

Sure.
Okay.

Definitely.
Hey.

But why do we need ice skates
to sing a song?

Willy lives in an icy cave
near Frosty Falls.

I know where that is.

QUETZAL:
It'’s on the edge of a pond
that is always frozen solid,

so it'’s safe to skate on.

The floor of Willy'’s cave
is always covered with ice too.

A house you can skate in?

Cool.

I must finish decorating
his birthday cake,

so I will meet you there.

Maybe Zak and Wheezie could help
make the music for our song.

That'’s a wonderful idea,
Cassie.

Would you ask them for me?

Sure.

Come on, everyone.

EMMY:
Bye, Quetzal.

CASSIE: See you later. Bye.ORD: See you.

Quetzal wants us to skate

how to ice-skate?

Well, then, come with us

Works for me.

Wait a minute.

Sliding around on slippery ice
on those funny-looking shoes.

Sounds dangerous.

It'’s not really.

But just in case,
we all wear kneepads.

We'’re fine.

skate laces are too loose.

It'’s part of the learning
and it'’s part of the fun.

I don'’t think it'’s much fun
to have a cold tummy.

And an ouchy elbow.

Why don'’t you try again?

But this time we'’ll show you

some of the ways
we learned to skate.

The first thing you have
to learn is how to fall.

We'’re already good at that.

But there'’s a safer way.

If you feel
like you'’re about to fall,

try to fall backwards
on your bottom.

Hm. Maybe I won'’t bump
my elbow again

if we fall like that.

another try.
