and then I got dizzy

and, well, we crashed
and I hit the floor

and hurt my elbow!

- Oh, I know it hurts,

but a grown-up like me
can help you feel better.

(Daniel whimpering)
- Are you okay, Daniel?

- Um... I think I'm okay.
- All right, good.

Let's fix up Miss Elaina here.
Mm-hmm.

- Does it hurt,
Miss Elaina?

- No, it's just cold.

- Huh.

- And now a little cream,

that will help the scrape heal.

- It looks
kind of goopy.

feel like?

but it feels good.

take us to Dr. Anna's office?

I hurt my ankle but she's going
to help me feel better.
(dinging)

- Mom, will Dr. Anna
have to touch my ankle?

just so she knows

exactly where it hurts
so she can make it better.

(Daniel groaning)

there, Daniel, Mrs. Tiger.

- Hi, Dr. Anna.

Daniel hurt his ankle.

- Oh, dear. Can you
tell me what happened?

- I tripped over my toy car.

- Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
Come into my office,

so I can take a closer
look at your ankle.

- Up we get.

- I can see that
you've already

put an ice pack
on your ankle.

- My mom did that
to help me feel better.

- Oh, well that's helpful.
Can I unwrap it?

- Yep. It's all right,
go ahead.

- But Mom, I'm scared.

- I know it can be scary
going to the doctor

when you're hurt, but...

the bones look like

inside of a body.

- Wow, that's a lot of bones.

the bones in your ankle

to make sure
you didn't hurt one. Okay?

- Okay.

- Uh-huh!
- Can you push your foot

against my hand?
- It hurts to do that, too.

I don't think any bones
in your ankle are broken,

but I'd like to take
a picture of your ankle

with my special camera,
just to be sure.

This is called
an X-ray machine.

It will take a picture
of the inside of your body,

so I can see your bones.
- An X-ray machine...

- Ooh. It's a little heavy.

won't hurt at all,

The X-ray pictures are ready.

- Is that my ankle?

- Yes it is.
And it's showing me

that no bones are broken.

Your ankle is hurting
because you have a sprain.

- What's a sprain?
- It means your ankle

twisted the wrong way
when you fell down,

but your bones are fine.

It will take a little while,
but your ankle will get better

all by itself.
- Well, that is good news.

- Yes, it is. But you'll
need to take care of it.

- How?
- First, I'm going to

wrap your ankle
with this bandage.

You can feel it, it's soft.

- Ooh, it is soft and stretchy.

- I'm going to
wrap this around

so your ankle stays in the same
place while it gets better.

You want to count how
many times I wrap it around?

- (Dr. Anna): Now I tuck it in,

fasten it... There.

- Wow! It's all wrapped up.

Make sure not to
walk around too much,

and when you are sitting down

- Yes, elevate. That means keep
it up off the ground, like this.

- Well, Daniel, that's

- You sure are. And I want you
to come back in a few days

so I can check on you.
- Okay, I will.

- That's because you are
a brave and strong tiger.

I'm at the hospital
even though I'm not hurt.

I'm going to get
a cast on my arm.

- Hi Phineas, how are you?
- Good.

- We're just going to put a cast
on your wrist to make it feel
better. Okay?

- Okay.
- I'm going to wrap this

really soft, fuzzy cotton on
your arm. You wanna feel it?

- Now, when I'm doing this,
I want you just

to keep your arm just like that,
like you were going

to shake my hand, okay?
- Mm-hmm.

- You ready?
- Mm-hmm.

- And you get to pick a color.
- Green.

- Green? That was easy. Is that
your favorite?
- Mm-hmm.

- The cast dries
very quickly.

If you were really hurt,

you'd wear the cast
until the bone was healed

and then you'd come back
and I'd take the cast off.

It's very loud,
makes lots of noise,

but is has
a special safety feature

and it won't hurt you.
- Oh.

It won't cut you, Okay?
- Okay.

- There we go.
No, just let me do it.
