Have you ever seen a big storm?

Well, today, there's a big storm
coming to our neighborhood.

But it's OK, because Mom and Dad
and the other grown-ups

will be there to help us
all stay safe.

- There's a big storm coming

to our neighborhood today,
bigger than a regular rainstorm.

- That's right,
and that's why we're here,

at the treehouse.
We're picking up our friends

and bringing them to our house
so they'll be in a safe place

for the storm.
- Look, Daniel.

I'm blowing in the wind,
meow meow, like the leaves.

(kids laughing)
- You look like a leaf

blowing in the wind!

I'm a leaf dancing
in the wind too!

(kids laughing)

(boom of thunder)

(gasp)
- Did you hear that noise?

(thunder growling)

It sounded loud

like boom-boom-boom!

- Meow meow, and the sky
is getting dark.

Meow meow, I don't like storms.

- Hoo hoo, I don't either.

- ♪ Storm, storm, go away ♪

(boom of thunder)
- Hoo! Hoo!

- Dad!
- Mommy!

- Oh my!
- Alright, I know that
a big storm can feel scary,

but the grown-ups are here
to keep you safe.

♪ Follow the plan
and you'll be safe ♪

This is
our storm safety plan,

so we know what to do
in a big storm.

And now the plan
is to all go to our home,

so we're safe.

my big tiger.

- Come on, Margaret,

it's time for bed.
- Hello!

I'm so glad we're all here
and we're all safe.

Please make yourselves
at home.

- Nifty galifty! Ha! Ha!

- The rain is so loud.

It sounds like whoosh!

- It looks like it's raining
sideways, meow meow.

- (kids): Oooh!

- I wish it was sunny,
so we could go play outside,

or snowy
so we could go sledding,

or just a little bit of rain

so we could splash
in the puddles.

Hey, do you want
to make believe with me?

Let's make believe
we're playing outside

in all kinds of weather.

- The next part
of our storm safety plan

is to make sure we have
everything we might need

for the storm
in our emergency kit.

the emergency kit?

We have to find
everything on our list.

The first thing on the list
is a flashlight.

Do you see a flashlight
in our emergency kit?

- Hmm... Um... there's
the flashlight, meow meow.

- Flashlight, check.

OK, the next thing
on the list is

our first aid kit.
It looks like this.

Hmm, where is
the first aid kit?

- We have that, too.

- First aid kit, check!

The next thing on the list
is water bottles.

Do you see water bottles?

- Hoo hoo! Got them!
- Water bottles, check!

We checked everything
on the list.

Look, Mom! Everything
is in our emergency kit.

- Wonderful!
Is there anything else

you think we should add?
- How about a book? Hoo hoo!

Or three?
Books make me feel safe.

- I think that is
a great idea.

How about we just
put in one book

since our kit might not be
big enough for three.

- Hoo hoo. You choose
which one, Daniel.

- OK. Ooh! Could we put in
this one?

- (O and Katerina):

- And now we know our emergency
kit has everything we need.

(kids screaming)

That was a loud one, huh?
But we're safe.

- Sometimes, a big storm
can make the lights go out.

- No, it was my tummy.
I am hungry.

Let's all have dinner now, OK?
- Dinner?

In the dark?
- Sure, and I just set up

a special dinner
in the living room. Come see.

- Oh boy!

- Grrific!
- Like a picnic.

- An indoor picnic.
- Your dinner is served.

- Mmm! What did you get?
- Ooh, I like this kind

- (X the Owl): Oh my!

(Mom Tiger laughing)

in my tum-tum-tummy.

that we're done with dinner,

it's time to start
getting ready for bed.

(Dad Tiger humming)

- I love my sleeping bag!

- (Mom Tiger): It's a rainy
night, so it's game night

at Haley and Thomas' house.

- Whoa! The lights just flashed.
- The storm.

Do you want to go get
the emergency kit?

- Ay-ay, sir!
- The grown-ups have a plan
for when the lights go out.

Lanterns. If the lights go out,

they'll still be able to see.

They follow their safety plan.

even though the lights went out.

There was a big storm
last night.

O and Katerina slept over. See?

- The wind was so loud!

- And it rained, and it rained,
and we got to sleep here.

And the plan is

first, you help your family,
then you help your neighbors,

and then your neighborhood.
So yes, you and Katerina

will go home
to help your families.

- That sounds

The storm made a big mess.

it's blocking the path
to our house.

- Oh, the wind was so strong,

it knocked down our mailbox.
But we can fix it.

the mailbox up.

the wind was so strong,
it blew down our mailbox,

but Dad fixed it and I helped!

to the Clock Factory to help.

such a mess.

Mr. McFeely is helping.
He's picking up the branches,

so they're not in our way.

- OK, Trolley,
the road is clear for you.

- (Mom and Daniel):

- Anything I can do to help.

the Neighborhood too.

(bicycle bell ringing)

one of our big, beautiful trees

has come down
on Main Street.

- Oh no!

- Right in front
of our beloved Clock Factory.

Ah, what a shame!
- Dad, Mom, look!

Dad's Clock Factory.
The tree's so big

and it's on ground.
What are we gonna do?

- I know. Seeing
the Neighborhood after a storm

can be scary.
- It is.

- When I was young
and I would see scary things,

my mother would say to me,
"Look for the helpers.

You'll always find people
who are helping."

- You're a helper, Dad.
- That's right.

What other helpers do you see?

- Will you look
for the helpers too?

Look! I see more helpers.

What helpers do you see?

I see firefighters.

Oh! It's Music Man Stan
and Dr. Anna.

- That's right, firefighters
help in all different ways.

Right now, they're going
to help the Clock Factory.

- They are? Wow!

Music Man Stan
is a firefighter,

and Dr. Anna is
a firefighter.

And my dad is helping too.

There's a lot of helpers
in the Neighborhood.

Hey, do you want
to make believe with me?

Let's make believe
that we are helpers

keeping everyone safe
in the whole Neighborhood.

- ♪♪ We are some of the helpers
in your neighborhood ♪

♪ We take care of you,
that's what we do ♪

- ♪ I'm a police officer ♪

♪ I keep things
safe in town ♪

- ♪ I'm a doctor
and if you get hurt ♪

♪ I help you feel better
all around ♪

- ♪ I'm a firefighter ♪

♪ I can put out fires
and keep you safe and sound ♪

- ♪ We are helpers
in your neighborhood ♪

♪ We take care of you,
that's what we do ♪

♪ Us and lots of others too ♪

♪ We are here
to take care of you ♪♪

- Wasn't that grrr-ific?
- OK, Daniel,

it's time to help move the tree.
- But how will we do it?

- Remember how we moved
the mailbox?

- Uh-huh! I helped!
- Right. And if we all work

together, we can move
the tree too.

Wait right here, I'm going
to need your help again, OK?

- OK, Dad. Ugga mugga.
- Ugga mugga.

(Mom Tiger laughing)

(Dad Tiger talking indistinctly)
- Look, Mom,

Dad's helping!
- Yeah, they're tying the tree

so they can move it away.
- Oh! Here we are.

- The tree is so big!

How do you think
they'll move the tree?

I don't know how
they'll do it.

(Daniel gasps.)
It's Trolley!

Trolley is going
to pull the tree

away from the Clock Factory.
- OK. One, two,

three, haul!

- We can help too.
Let's say, "One, two,

three, pull." OK?

three, pull!

- Come on, Trolley.
- You can do it, Trolley!

- Ha! Ha! Nice job, Trolley!
- Oh, good!

- The helpers moved the tree.

The Clock Factory
isn't blocked anymore.

- Ho! Ho! Hurray!
- All of the helpers

worked together and made
the Clock Factory safe.

I feel safe now, too.

- ♪♪ When things seem bad
or scary ♪

♪ Just take a look around ♪

♪ You'll see that people
help each other ♪

♪ People help all over town ♪

(Ding! Ding!)
♪ Look for the helpers ♪

firefighters ♪

this new tree for us to plant.

(Daniel gasps.)

...to help everyone remember
how we all came out

and helped the Neighborhood
after the big storm.

- I would like that,

Come on! Help plant
the tree with me.

(Daniel laughing)

I think this tree

is going to grow
big and strong

in our neighborhood.
- Me too.

The big storm was hard,
but we looked for the helpers.

There were a lot of helpers,

and we helped too.

Here's my friend Tim

to help clean out
the playground.

- Let's go plant
some flowers!

OK, guys, you're going to help
me plant some of these flowers

around the tree.
So what we're gonna do

is take up the shovels
and we're gonna take

one of these flowers here

and just put this down
into the dirt.

This is going to be so nice
for the neighborhood.

Braydon, here. We'll put 'em
right down in here, OK?

- Hi! Would you guys like
to help me come up

and plant a tree?
- (the others): Sure!

- Alright, come on up.
Alright, we're gonna be planting

this tree today. And if you come
close with your hands,

I'll give it to you.
Hold it from the bottom.

Good! Put it in this hole.

Be real careful.

OK.

If you guys want to help me,
spread it all the way around

the dirt, OK?
- Mm-hmm.

- Step away.

Brayden, could you go get me a
watering can to water our tree?

- Yeah.
