I wonder how she does that.

claws like a dragon!

No. This lizard is a different
color than nelly

And it has stripes!

- Nelly doesn't have stripes.
- Nope.

I didn't know there were so many
different kinds of lizards.

Hmmm. Do you think that lizard
looks like nelly?

- It does look like nelly!

- I see you found the part
about anole lizards.

- Mom, prince wednesday,
look at this!

- Hmmm. In this picture,

The lizard is part
green and part brown.

- And in this picture...

The lizard is brown.

- Is that the same lizard?

- It certainly is!
That's called camouflage.

- Camouflage.
- Yep. It helps them hide.

If they want to hide on a tree
trunk, they turn brown.

And if they want to hide
in the grass, they turn...

- (Both): green!
- You got it!

- Wow! So nelly could
be green or brown.

Maybe... Nelly lives
right in our backyard

But we just couldn't see her!

- Maybe she's hiding!

- Can we go outside again, mom?
- Sure.

- Where could she be?

Mm... I don't see her.

- I just see leaves.

- Do you see a little lizard?

Awesome! Now I need you guys
to all go off into the room

And find something that you
think might sink or might float.

- Dinosaur.

- That's really neat!
I didn't think it would do that.

Wow! It floats!

- Abe, what did you bring back?

- I think it will sink.

Hey! I was right!

The orange again?

It sank!
(Teacher laughing)

- Why did it sink?
It's because of the skin!

The skin has all these
little air bubbles in it.

But when we peeled all
that skin off, it sunk.

Now let's go off and find
some more things

That will sink or float!

- This is a trolley repair kit.

there is a pump inside

We can use to fix
trolley's tire?

Yes, there is a pump!

So, I attach this part
to the tire, here...

And then I press
this up and down,

And that blows air
into the tire!

- Look! The tire's blowing up!

- The pump is working!
- There you go!

Like a trolley car,

Except it goes up
a steep hill on tracks

And it's pulled by cables.
You wanna go?

- Sure!
- Come on!

Ok ryan, do you want to go
see how this all works?

- Sure!
- Ok, let's go.

- Whoa! Look how big
those gears are.

- They are huge, aren't they?
- Yeah!

- And you know what
makes this all go?
- No.

- Well there's a big green motor
back there and it's electric.

It starts turning that
little gear down there,

And the little gear
turns the big gear,

And the big gear turns that big
drum. So as the drum turns,

That cable comes up and it
pulls the car up the hill.

Would you like to see
where the operator stands

That makes all this work?
- Sure.
- C'mon let's go!

- This is what makes
the cars start to move.

Turn it this way that car goes
down, turn it that way, the
other car goes down.

And this is the control that
opens the door of the car.
