Today we're playing
outside in the snoooow!

Then I'm going to the
playground with Jodi

to try to swing all by myself!

You can come too!

Daniel: (yawning)

Hi, Neighbor!

Whoa... Snow!

It snowed! Let's go play!

(humming)

♪ Snow! Snow! I love snow! ♪

Hmm.

Ah! Here's my red sweater!

Dad Tiger: (yawns)

Daniel: (gasps)

Dad!

It snowed!

Dad: I know, you're
excited that it snowed,

but it's too early in the
morning for you to be up.

You should still
be resting in bed.

Daniel: I don't want
to go back to bed.

Dad: Hmm... Well, even
if you're not sleepy,

all of us Tigers
need to stay in bed

and rest a little longer.

(yawns) The snow will
still be there later.

Daniel: Ok... but...

when can I get up?

Dad: Your special
clock will let you know.

When both hands of the clock are
pointing to a green sticker,

that means it's time
to get out of bed

and start the day. Okay?

Daniel: Ok.

Dad, can you stay with me?

Dad: I think you're big enough

to stay in bed by yourself.

♪ You're big enough now, ♪

♪ you can try it yourself! ♪



Daniel: ♪ I'm big enough
now, I can try it myself. ♪



But, what do I do until
it's time to get up?

Dad: Well, you can...

try to fall back asleep,

or read a book, or...

even imagine

you're playing in the snow.

Daniel: Okay, Dad. I'll try.

Dad: That's my fuzzy guy!

Thank you, Daniel.

(yawns)

Ugga mugga.

Daniel: Ugga mugga.

I can't wait to go
play in the snow later.

Maybe we can go sledding!

But I have to stay in bed
a little while longer.

(sighs)

(humming)

Whoosh! Swoosh! Whoosh! Swoosh!

Whoosh! Shwsh..

I think my bed would
make a great sled!

Don't you?

Heyyyyy...

Do you want to
make-believe with me?

Let's make-believe,

that we're sledding
down a hill...

in our beds!

I'm going to ask mom and dad,

if it's time to play
in the snow now!

Wait!

I can check the clock myself

to see if it's time to get up!

♪ I'm big enough now,
I can try it myself! ♪

Is it time to get
out of bed yet?

Not on the stickers yet.

It's still too early, Tigey.

Come on Tigey, back to bed.

Let's go pretend skiing!

Whoosh!

Tigey's a good skier!

Good job, Tigey!

Faster, Tigey, faster!

Up and then down,

and up and then down.

Flip, Tigey!

You did it!

(gasps)

Look! Both hands are
on the stickers.

It's time to get up!

I did it! I stayed
in bed the whole time!

And you did it too, Tigey!
(giggles)

I knew we could do it!

Good morning, snow!

Dad: Good Morning, again!

Daniel: Good morning, Dad!
(giggles)

Look! It's time!

Dad: That's my big tiger!

I knew you could wait.

Are you ready for the snow?

Daniel: Before breakfast?

Dad: Yup! We know you're
excited to play in the snow,

so today, we're going
to play outside first

and then have breakfast!

Come on!

Daniel: Tigertastic!

♪ Snow! Snow! I love snow! ♪

Morning, Mom!

Mom Tiger: Good morning, Daniel.

Dad told me you stayed
in bed by yourself.

I'm proud of you.

Daniel: Me too!

Morning, Margaret!

Did you see the snow?

Margaret: Dan-dan!
(clapping) (giggles)

(baby noises)

Daniel: Hm.

(sighs)

Dad: Looks like everyone's
ready to play in the snow!

Daniel: I love
snow let's go go go!

Margaret/Daniel: (giggle)

Daniel: Wow!

Margaret: (baby sounds)

Daniel: Look at the
snowy snow, Margaret!

Margaret: (giggles) Fno!

(giggles) Fno!

Daniel: Let's make snow stars!

(giggles)

I'm a star! I'm a star!

Uh huh! Flap your arms
and legs like this!

Margaret: (baby sounds)
Daniel: (giggles)

Squishy, squishy snow!

Margaret: (giggles)

Daniel: Then you stand up...

Margaret: (baby talk)

Daniel: A snow star!

Way to go, Margaret!

Daniel/Margaret: (giggles)

Mom/Dad: (laughter)

Daniel/Margaret: (giggles)

Daniel: It's a snow star family!

Dad: Oh, I know!

Do you want my help
to build a snow-tiger?

Daniel: I think I'm big enough
to make my own snow-tiger.

Mom: I think so too, Daniel.

Margaret: (baby sounds)

Mom: Let us know,
if you need any help!

Daniel: Okay!

(humming)

Oh!

Maybe if I try to roll
the snow like this...

(sighs)

Now I'll make a smaller
ball for the head.

Awwww!

This is really hard.

lots of new things by myself!

Daniel: Brrr. It's cold today.

Jodi: I like the cold.

I can pretend I'm...

..ice skating!

Daniel: Me too! Wheee!

Come ice skate with us!

Jodi: Wooooosh!
Watch me, Daniel!

Daniel: Gliiiiiding backwards!

(giggles) Wheeee!

Nana Platypus: Look at
those wonderful skaters.

My oh my, so graceful!

Daniel/Jodi: (giggles)

Daniel: Jodi. Let's
skate to the swings!

Jodi: Okay!

Jody: ♪ Skating to the swings! ♪
Daniel: Skate, skate.

Jody: Whoooosh!
Daniel: Skate.

Nana: Wheeeeeee!

(chuckles)

Daniel: We're here. We did it.
Jodi: We made it! The swings!

Jodi: Wheeeeee....
Look at meeee!

I'm swinging so high in the sky!

Daniel: Tigertastic!

Jodi can swing up
high all by herself!

I can't do that.

Nana, will you push me please?

Nana: Hmm...
I can push you Daniel.

But I think you might be able
to swing all by yourself too.

Daniel: I've never
tried it by myself.

Nana: ♪ You're big enough now, ♪

♪ You can try it yourself! ♪

Daniel: Hmm.

I guess I can try...

But I don't know how.

Nana: I can help you
learn how to do it.

Let's watch how Jodi swings.

When she swings forward she
sticks her legs out straight.

Daniel: Oh yeah.

I see them go forward!

Nana: And when she
swings backward,

she pulls her legs back in.

Daniel: In and out...

Nana: That's it!
Now, let's try it.

I'll give you a little
push to get started.

Ready?

Daniel: Ready.

Nana: One...two...

Daniel: In and out...

I can't do it.

Jodi: Look, Nana!

I'm so high up!

Daniel: I want to
swing high like Jodi!

Nana: You can try again, Daniel.

Daniel: ♪ I'm big enough
now, I can try it myself. ♪

Nana: You're doing it, Daniel!

Daniel: I am? I am!

I'm swinging high by myself!

Tigertastic!

Jodi: Yay! Daniel,
you're swinging higher!

Daniel: Whee! (laughter)

Jodi: We're swinging up high!

Daniel: It feels so
good to swing by myself!

Nana: Just a couple more swings,
and then it's time to go home.

Jodi: Okay, Nana!
Daniel: All right.

Daniel: One more swiiiiing!

Daniel: Wheee!
Jodi: (giggles)

Jody Platypus: (humming)

Daniel: (sighs)

Jody Platypus: (humming)

Daniel: Bye swings! (giggles)

Nana: Daniel, your
Mom's helping out

with something at our house.

Daniel: Tigertastic!

I can't wait to tell her what
I could do on the swings!

Nana: Please take
us home, Trolley.

Trolley: (ding-ding)

Daniel: Hi, Trolley! Guess what?

I learned how to
swing all by myself!

Jodi: He did!

Trolley: (ding-ding)

Daniel: I wish I was
still swinging right now!

(giggles)

Trolley: (ding-ding)

Daniel: Bye Trolley!
Jodi: See you soon!

Trolley: (ding-ding)

Daniel: Come inside with us!

Nana: Daniel, look who's here.

Daniel: Mom! Guess what?

I was swinging on the
swings all by myself!

Moving my legs in and out!

In and out! In and out!

I went so high!

Mom Tiger: (chuckles) You're
getting to be such a big tiger.

Teddy/Leo: (baby giggles)

Jodi: I hear Teddy and Leo!

Daniel: Let's go find them.

Teddy/Leo: (baby giggles)

Jodi: Mmm Mama!

Dr. Plat: ( chuckles)
Hi Jojo-bean!

Jodi: Wow!

Our room looks so...

..different.

Dr. Plat: Mhmm. Check out
Teddy and Leo's new beds!

Jodi: New beds?
Daniel: Neato!

Teddy: Bed! Bed!

Daniel: I like
your new bed, Teddy.

Leo: Bed! Bed!

Daniel: (giggles) Yeah,
that will be your bed, Leo!

Teddy: Cold! Mama, no blankie?

Dr. Plat: (laughter) Teddy!

I didn't have time
to make the bed yet.

Teddy: Oh, (giggles)

Dr. Plat: Jo-jo, could
you make Teddy's bed,

while we finish Leo's bed?

Jodi: Me?
Dr. Plat: Uh huh.

The blanket and

I'm not sure how.

We forgot the pillow.

Jodi: I got this corner!

Daniel: And I got this one!

We're grr-ific bed-makers!
(giggles)

Jodi: Wait, the pillow!

Daniel: Soooo cozy.

Teddy/Leo: Aaah, Bed! (squeals)

Dr. Plat: (laughter) I think
they like their new beds!

Jodi: You're big now!

Big enough for big kid beds!

Leo/Teddy: We, big!

Daniel: (giggles) So big!

Mom Tiger: Well
thank you helpers.

Looks like we're all set!

Daniel: Hmmm.

It feels good to try new
things when you're bigger.

You're bigger too.

I wonder, what you're
learning to do.

First, I need to make sure
I'm holding it the right way.

It may be small, but
it's not so easy!

go all the way
around in a circle,

before catching it again.

New tricks take a
lot of practice.
