Post by bunniefuu »

Well, I've got six here.

You know, Claudia, I just feel

it will have to be a bit fuller.
Perhaps some lilies.

The band are not booked
until tomorrow, darling.

I'm sorry, but you'll be in the way
here today.

That's exactly what my fiancee said.

I'm sorry?
I'm the groom.

Of course!

That's not what I ordered. If you
want something done here, Michael,

you have to do it yourself.

Oh!

Just can not get the staff.

Unbelievable.

(MUTTERS)

♪ DANCE MUSIC FROM RADIO

Charlie?

Charlie?

Bloody painters.

No. Vile.

Ah.

(SQUEAKING)

Oh! Gorgeous!

Hello.

Aw.

(ROAR)
(SCREAMS)

MATT: I'm here.

It's me.

I'm here.

Ah. I was...

..dreaming of home.

How are you feeling?

I'm dying.

Apart from that, I'm fine.

Matthew, this woman, Emily.
It's OK.

You'll use her to catch Ethan?

If it comes to that, yeah.
Are you sure?

You haven't allowed yourself to get
too close?

Don't worry.

I'm not involved with her.
I'm not involved with anyone.

I'm sorry, it's for your own good.

For all our good.

So, to sum up, we're looking for
a psychopath from Victorian England

who can drive a car

and seems perfectly at home
in the 21st century.

Emily, you said he was from 1902.

If so, perhaps he's got a police
record.

I could do some digging around.

OK, Becker,
you track down this Ethan character.

I'm not going back without Ethan.

Ethan's not going anywhere.

When we find him,
he's going straight to prison.

I suggest you rejoin your friends
while you've still got the chance.

It's her decision.

She should stay if she wants.

He's right, of course, but
if you do, I shall have to inform

Philip and the minister.
What will that mean for me?

It remains to be seen but I shan't
be able to protect you any longer.

She should stay.
She's our only real link to Ethan.

You'd better not let her
out of your sight, then.

(ALARM SOUNDS)

We have an anomaly alert.

Heading one nine zero, 20 miles,
sending co-ordinates now.

OK. I'm going to leave you here with
a guard. You're going to be safe.

(FIRE ALARM RINGING)

Jess, we're in the hallway with no
signal. What have you got?

"I'm just loading the floor plans
now."

Is this a drill?

Still nothing, Jess.
Have you got visual?

The anomaly is in the basement.

There's an entrance
in the northwest corridor.

Whoa. Did you hear that?

Sorry, I thought I heard something.

No sign of a creature incursion.

Maybe we got here just in time, eh?
(ROAR)

Or maybe not.

(DISTANT ROAR)

It's stalking us.

(ROAR)

(CRASH)

So what's going to happen with Emily
now? Huh?

Is she just going to stay
at your place? No.

Easy on the small talk, Matt.
We'll never get anything done (!)

Must be strange for a woman from her
time, coming to the 21st century.

Shut up, Connor,
I'm trying to listen. (ROAR)

Male hyaenodon.

(GROWLS)

Jess? There was an Ethan Dobrowski.
He was a notorious anarchist,

thought to be from
Russia originally,

though nobody seems very sure.

He m*rder*d at least half a dozen
people

before disappearing without trace
in 1902.

His MO was to take over a property
near his victim,

watch them for days, then move in
and assassinate his target.

That's how he knew Emily was alone.
Must have been watching Matt's flat.

Run a security check
on all of Matt's neighbours.

Ethan might still be nearby.

(DOOR CREAKS)

Hello? Who's there?

(YOUNG HYAENODON WHIMPERS)

(ADULT HYAENODON GROWLS)

Identify yourself.

Jenny!

Connor?

Jenny! Oh, no, no, no, no,
this can't be happening.

What are you doing here?
What am I doing here?

What are YOU doing here?

This is a joke, right?

But how did you know I was getting
married? Married?

You're here and...oh, my God,
there's an anomaly.

I'm Matt Anderson.

What am I going to tell him?
Who? Michael, my fiance.

Oh. I'm not a demanding bride.
Really, I'm not.

Rain, I can handle.
Wrong flowers, fine.

Dinosaurs? I draw the line.

They're more like prehistoric dogs
this time.

Kind of cute in a not-raptor
way...I'm just going to shut up.

Jenny? The anomaly's locked
and we've dealt with the incursion.

It's going to be OK.

We really should clear the place
for a day or two,

until we know everything's safe.

Or we could search the rest
of the property now

and keep an eye on things
while you get married.

Great.

And what the hell, you're all invited
to the wedding. Oh! Yay!

(GROWLING)

Excuse me, where's the exit?

Anything?
Clear.

She looks different.
She's happy.

Do you think she's told him?

Would you?

Michael, this is Abby and Connor.
Hi.

Hey. Hello.
I've just been telling Michael

about that mad PR firm
we used to work for.

Mad's not really the word for it,
is it?

Paintballing.
Team bonding. Building.

Yeah. That's the kind of crazy stuff
we get up to at the PR firm.

Drink? Great idea?
Great, let's go.

Jess, we've got this covered.
I'm sending security back to you.

"Enjoy the wedding."

Right, we need to find her.

So, Jenny's always been pretty
mysterious about her past.

That's because my life didn't begin
until I met you.

No, really. I'm interested.

Oh, well, it was boring, really.

Yeah, just work. 9:00 till 5:00,
you know the routine.

Not really. I'm a musician.

Wow. That's... That's cool.

Are you any good at Rock Band?
I've got a top score of - Emily!

I can help. If I'm stuck here,
I can't just sit around.

Emily - Did the creature come
through the gateway? Ooh!

Is this one of the team building
things? Yeah!

What's team building?

Emily?

Forgive my confusion.
I'm not myself today.

How did you two meet? I bet there's
a funny story in there somewhere!

We were introduced by friends.

What was I meant to do?

Sometimes it's easy to forget
that none of this is normal.

You left me sitting there.

If I'm stuck in this time,
I have to be useful.

I'm sorry.
Matt, let me help you.

We should go.

Jess, what have we got?
The only apartments

that look onto Matt's place
are on the eighth floor.

We're on our way up.

Clear.

(On three.)

(Two...)

Clear.
Clear.

Jess, I think we've found
the location. No sign of Ethan.

He's been here.

And recently. "I can set up a
surveillance operation outside."

With any luck, he won't know we're
on to him. (WHISTLES)

OK. Be careful and stay warm.

Stay warm?

What?!

It's been difficult.

You should just tell him.

Do you think so?

Do you know, when I met him, I just
wanted to have a fresh start.

After everything that had happened,

I just wanted to forget about
the anomalies and...Cutter.

When I met Michael,
I could just move on.

Not that I wanted to forget you
guys. I didn't forget any of you.

We should get married here.

Should we?

Well...

Er...theoretically, if we were to...
To ever...

you know...ever go down
the road of...

You know?
Go down the road of complete...

I'm going to go and get
some more champagne.

I just said something bad, didn't I?

Connor, a word of advice.

It's customary
to propose to the girl

before you start planning
the wedding.

Yeah.

Jess, I'm in position.

Can you patch me through the feeds

for CCTV cameras in the building?
OK.

(DOGS BARK)

Well, it's about that time.

I shall see you tomorrow.

Don't be late.
Nightcap in my room?

Oh, yes, please.
Girls only.

Sexist.
Would you like to come, Emily?

She stays with me.

"She stays with me"?
What is this, the 1800s?

Just think it's time we all turned
in. Gosh, he's Mr Fun, isn't he?

Must be a laugh a minute on the team
now. I'd love to come with you.

Have fun. We will.

Right.

Abby, you're about
my future sister-in-law's size.

Why don't you try...this one?

And Emily, just...go for it.

I thought you might be hungry.
I hope you like Chinese.

Jessica, this is a stakeout.

You still have to eat. I was just on
my way home. I thought I'd drop by.

Jess, I know where you live.
It's miles away.

Well, I like the scenic route.

Got any prawn crackers?

(OWL HOOTS)

You don't seem surprised. What, that
Lester's still grumpy? Not really.

That I'm from the 1800s. Emily,
when you've seen what I've seen,

trust me, nothing surprises you.

(KNOCK ON DOOR)

Oh, hello.
Hi. Can I steal Emily, please?

Abbs, I'm just getting some ice.
Back in a minute.

OK.

(DOOR CREAKS)

(GROWLS)

Sorry to drag you out so late,
but I need to talk.

Look, I know it sounds insane about
somebody I've only met once.

And what do you think Ethan's
going to do?

Whatever it is, you can trust me.

OK.

I didn't just fall into this job.

I've been preparing
for it my whole life.

I knew about the anomalies

and I made sure I was the perfect
candidate.

So you lied to everyone?
I had no choice.

Something's going to happen
with the anomalies.

What's going to happen?

Tell me, please.

I can't say any more.

I've told you too much already.

I'm sorry.

Who are you?

Just know I would never, ever do
anything to put you in any danger.

Matt...
Come on.

Damn it, he's in the house.
What? What happened?

I'm going in. Call for backup.
Wait in the car.

Backup needed.
Can we get a unit down here now?

Abby?

Abby?
(HYAENODON YELPING)

Great.

That's all I need.

(HYAENODON WHIMPERS)

(WHISTLES)

Where are you?

That's...not cool.

No reception. Of course there isn't.

Stay there.

No.

No.
(ROAR)

Come on, don't you guys start
as well!

Ow! Ow!

Yeah?

What's this? Go on.

Eh?

Go crazy, guys. This round's on me.

Jess, Jess, don't sh**t, don't
sh**t, it's me. Don't move.

This place is rigged with traps.

Walk slowly that way.
Yeah.

Where's Ethan? Not here.
But he's left us a little gift.

This pressure pad under my left
foot, attached to that metronome.

And I think that's a b*mb.

If this counterweight
hits the floor,

I think that detonates the b*mb
as well.

I need you to come over here
and tell me if I'm right.

Come on.
OK. OK.

And there's a trip wire there.
Be careful.

Now, Jess, really, really gently,
pull that off.

Oh, God.

It could destroy the whole building.
You need to get out of here. Now!

No, I - Go now! I'm not leaving you.
I'm not leaving you.

He knew we were watching him!
You need to leave now!

Becker, you tell me what to do.
You can tell me. Come on.

(SNORING)

(ROAR)

Go round the back of the b*mb
and tell me what you can see.

Erm...yeah. There's a black box.

What's inside it?
Take the back off it.

Tell me what you see.
OK, hang on.

Erm...loads and loads of wires.

There should be a small cylinder
in there - the detonator,

with two wires, a red and a green
wire coming out the bottom of it.

Oh! Don't touch anything!
Can you see that?

Yes, I -
You're OK, you're OK. Breathe.

OK.
You're doing brilliantly.

Now, you can see the cylinder,
can you?

Yes, I can see,
I can see a cylinder.

Good. Now, I want you
to come over here.

OK. There's a pair of pliers
on that table. Quickly, now. OK.

Use those to very carefully
take out the red wire.

Do not touch the green wire.

OK. Red wire.

OK. I can do this. Come on.

Hurry, Jess. It's getting heavy.

There's...there's no green wire.
It's just two red wires.

Which do I pick?

You get out now. I mean it, Jess.

Just shut up! OK?
Just...just hang on.

Just give me a second.
I can do this. OK?

OK.

Come on!

Oh! Oh!

It worked! I did it! I did it!

Oh, God!
You are truly brilliant.

I know. I am!

I want you to search the area now.
Now! Come on!

I want to know who the hell
this guy is.

(WOMAN'S VOICE)
"Ethan, help your brother.

Help your brother. Ethan.

You have to help your brother,
Ethan."

Can I help you?

What's the name of the family
who live here?

Why?

I know you. I never forget a face.

No, don't tell me.
I'll get it in a minute.

It's you, isn't it?

You're him.

You're that boy.

No. My name is Ethan Dobrowski.
I've never been here in my life.

You're mistaken.

That boy is dead.

Hi, there.

You look beautiful.

Thank you.
Shall we?

Are you married?

I should have -
Forget about it.

I guess we both have our secrets.

We should go.

Oh, for...

(Hey!) (WHISTLES)

(Stay there.)

Me again. Connor, we need to talk.
Call me.

OK, Now I'm getting worried. It's not
like him to ignore me for this long.

Oh, don't worry. He's probably just
nursing a really massive hangover.

Hey. (WHISTLES)

Hey, do you want your mum?

(Sorry, mate.)

(WHIMPERS)
Ooh.

(ROAR)

Hey. Where's Connor?

Thought he was with you. Something's
wrong. He'd never miss the ceremony.

Heavier than you look.

Uh!

See you later.

Great, there's always one.

(YAPS)

Don't.

(ROAR)

We are here today to support
Michael and Jenny

as they face their future together,

accepting whatever may lie ahead.

Do you, Michael Miller,

take Jennifer Lewis to be
your lawfully wedded wife? I do.

And do you, Jennifer Lewis,

take Michael Miller to be
your lawfully wedded husband?

Everybody, run!
Everybody's in danger.

You've got to believe me! Run!

Please! Now!

GUESTS: Ah!

(BARKS)

(WOMAN SCREAMS)

ABBY: Outside!

Come on, move!

(GROWL)

Run!

Wait there!

Lock the door your side! Quickly!

High five!

Up the stairs!

(BARKS)
Argh!

(WHIMPERS)
Down!

Argh!

Help me! Help me!

Go away!

Get away from my husband!

Actually, we're not married yet.

A mere technicality.

Well, it wouldn't be a real wedding
without a proper fight, would it?

How was your wedding?

All the creatures are back through
and the anomaly's been locked.

Good work.

Are you OK?

Fine.

OK.

I used to work
for a secret Government agency.

We'd track anomalies, which are,
like, gateways in time

to the past, the future,

and sometimes, creatures could pass
through them into our world.

It's dangerous.

Fatal, in fact.

There was a man that I was
in love with who was k*lled.

There's also the possibility that I
could have been somebody else

in a different time line,
called Claudia Brown.

But then the present changed
and I became Jennifer Lewis,

that's even too bizarre for me
to comprehend.

So anyway, that's it,
the whole truth.

What do you think?

So this...other guy.

You're over him, right?

Yes. I'm over him.

Well, that's OK, then.

We do have one problem, though.

The registrar's in no condition
to marry anyone.

I think I might be able
to do something about that.

"By the power vested in me,

by special dispensation
from the minister,

I now have the pleasure
of pronouncing you man and wife."

"You may now kiss the bride

or whatever it is that's customary
on these occasions."

Forgive me, I'm a little bit vague
on the detail.

"Thank you, James."

It's so lovely!

Whoo!

I didn't love my husband.
I barely knew him.

My family had money, he had a title.

My father arranged the whole thing.
It was a very good match.

For everyone except you.

I have to be somewhere.

Like to come?

Did you catch Ethan?

Have you found out how he's going
to do it?

Not yet, but I will.

Emily?

She's here?

Yeah. But don't worry.

I'm going to use her to catch Ethan
and then I'm going to walk away.

She means nothing to me.

You and I aren't important.

All that matters
is what we came here to do.

It's all up to you now.

I wish...

I wish...

He's gone.

I'm sorry.

Who was he?

My father.

Looks like 1870-ish.

I think we've found an anomaly
back to your time.

I thought this would be good news?

Connor, then your calculator
is only a few million years out?

Jess! Ethan has a way to track
anomalies. Warn the others.

I've thought about k*lling you
every day.

What the... I did some projections
of what would happen

if the anomalies kept growing
at this rate.

What will happen?

It would be catastrophic.
