Some of these dogs are pretty into fetch.

We've got a paw-some selection of doggy friends

to choose from,

but you have to choose carefully.

Sometimes dogs are ready to play

and sometimes they're not.

Like, when we feel sleepy

or just want to do other things.

The vet is here to check on Bubble Puppy.

- So now, I'm going to check Bubble Puppy's heartbeat.

- Hey, that's a stethoscope.

My doctor uses that to check my heartbeat!

It goes...boom-boom, boom-boom, boom-boom.

[laughter] - That's right.

Veterinarians use many

of the same tools as people doctors,

because they have a lot of the same parts.

Like a heart.

- Who knew?

- Mm-hmm...

[heartbeat thudding]

Okay, Bubble Puppy's heartbeat is just fine.

- [sneezes]

- What do you think is wrong with him?

- Well, looks like Bubble Puppy has got a little cold.

- [sneezes] - Dogs can get colds?

- They sure can, just like people.

- [sneezes]

- I'd like to take him back to the animal hospital with me

so I can keep an eye on him for awhile.

- I think that's a good idea, doctor.

Don't worry, Gil.

Dr. Martin will let us know as soon

as Bubble Puppy is better.

- But is there any way we can make him feel better?

- Aw, that's a nice idea, Gil.

Do you have anything in mind?

- I know!

I'm gonna make him a Get Well card.

That'll make him feel much better.

and pick up Bubble Puppy.

- Well that was unexpected.

- Oh, boy. He doesn't look so good.

I think he must be hurt.

- You'll be okay, boy. We'll take care of you.

- [whimpers] - Dr. Deema, look.

There's a splinter in his front paw.

Ouch, that must hurt.

- [whimpers]

- I'll get the giant tweezers!

[dramatic music]

Good as new! - [barks]

- Uh, Dr. Deema...

- It's the Big Bad Wolf.

both: Run for it!

- [exhales] I think we lost him, Dr. Goby.

[phone ringing]

Doggy doctors!

Oh, no! We're on our way.

It's Goldilocks' golden retriever!

both: Goldy!

Yeah, and she needs our help.

Fast!

There she is!

- [panting] - Hi, Goldy.

- Oh, she looks so sad.

- That's because it's so hot.

She's panting with her tongue out.

That's how dogs keep cool.

- We need your help to figure out

what she needs to feel better.

How should we take care of Goldy?

Does she need water or a bone?

both: Water!

- You're right,

she needs to drink lots of water

to stay cool and healthy, just like you and me.

[upbeat music]

- [barking]

- Let's get out of here!

[engine revving]

- [exhales] I think we got away again.

- That was a close one.

[phone ringing]

- Doggy doctors!

Hello? I can't quite hear you.

You're breaking up.

The Deep Dark Woods? Hello?

[line beeping]

- Who was that?

- I don't know, but they sounded upset.

- We better go to the Deep Dark Woods

and see if we can find them.

- The Deep Dark Woods!

- These woods sure are deep and dark.

- Hello! Doggy doctors.

Are there any doggies who need our help?

♪ ♪

It's...it's...

- The Big Bad Wolf!

- Yeah, him!

- He's going to get us.

♪ ♪

- [howling]

[sobbing]

- Wait a minute, he's not trying to get us.

- I think he needs our help.

Wow, he's really itchy.

- [whimpers] - Don't worry, Wolf.

We'll take care of you. - [whimpers]

- We need your help. Take a look at this wolf's fur.

What's making him feel so itchy?

- Fleas--bugs!

- Right, those bugs are fleas jumping around.

- [whimpers]

- We just need to wash away the fleas

and you'll feel all better.

[upbeat music]

- Look, the fleas are going away!

- And so the vets made the Big Bad Wolf feel better

and everyone was happy again in Storybook Town.

[laughter]

I hope he's okay.

- I'm sure Dr. Martin has taken good care of him.

- But I brought him a card to make him feel better.

Maybe it'll make you feel better.

because you're kind of sick.

I hope the vet takes care of you and you get better quick.
