Mom was gonna recyclethis stuff,

but she said we coulduse it first.

But it's just a bunchof cardboard.

to fly with dragonsin a land apart.

Ord: Yay! It's Max and Emmy!

Both: Hi, everyone!

Cassie: We're so glad you came.

Quetzal wants us allto meet someone.

Quetzal: Hola, niños.I want you all

to say hello to Lorca.

He's our newest studentat the School in the Sky.

Hi, Lorca. Nice to meet you.

-I'm Ord.-And I'm Cassie.

-My name's Zak.-And I'm Wheezie.

I'm Emmy,and this is my brother Max.

Nice to meet you, everybody.

[Others gasping]

[Indistinct chatter]

Ord: How did you do that?

Lorca: Ha ha! Aw.My uncle taught me.

I just love magic tricks.

Max: Wow!What a cool wheelchair!

Lorca: Uh-huh. I use itto get around.

Have you ever seen oneup close before?

Uh-uh.

Why do you have one?

I can't walk,so I roll instead.

Max: Why can't you walk?

Lorca: Oh, it's the wayI was born.

I can't move my legs,

so I use my arms and handsto get around like this.

See?

Cool!

Niños, would you liketo show Lorca

around Dragon Land?

Definitely. There's tonsto see, Lorca.

Ord: Yeah. What do youwant to do?

[Softly] When my momwas cleaning out our attic,

she found an old bottle,and this was inside.

Ord: Wow, Lorca!

That looks likea real treasure map!

Look! It startsat the School in the Sky!

And it ends right here.

X marks the spot!

I bet that'swhere the treasure is.

Max: Cool!Cassie: That sounds like fun!

Wheezie: ♪ Love it ♪

Quetzal: Looks like you all havean exciting adventure in store.

Have fun, niños.I'll see you later.

All: Bye, Quetzal!

So which way do we go?

Lorca: Well, the first thingwe do is go

through this forest.

Max: Hey, everybody! Look!

It's some kind of tunnel.

Emmy: The ceiling's pretty lowin here.

What do you think, Lorca?Can you fit?

Lorca: It's OK for me.How about the rest of you?

Whoa!

Look! We're almost outof the forest. Let's go!

Zak: But look what'sin front of it.

Now what do we do?

There's no room overhead to fly.

Wheezie: And the river'sway too wide to jump over.

Ord: I don't thinkwe can walk across either.

It's too deep.

Max: And I can't swim that far!

But they can. Look!

If we ask the turtles nicely,

maybe they'd let us walkacross their backs.

Emmy: Like steppingstones?Great idea, Cassie!

Cassie: Excuse me, turtles.

My friends and I were hopingto get to the other side

of this river.

Would you please do usa huge favor

and let us walk acrosson your backs?

[Turtles chattering]

Thank you, turtles!Come on, everyone!

[Squeaks]

Zak: Whoa!Wheezie: Aah, aah, aah!

-Whoa!-Ohh!

[Chatters]

I'm sorry,but you're too big.

He's right, Ord,and I don't think

I can get my chaironto their backs either.

So I need somethingstrong enough to hold my weight.

And I need something flatthat my chair can roll over.

Hey! How about that?

Great idea, Ord.We can use one

of those tree halvesas a bridge.

Wow, Ord! You're strong!

It's the dragon berries.

[Cheering]

Lorca: According to the map,

we're heading the right way,

but there's a funny pictureup here.

I don't know what it means.

Cassie: Hmm. It kind oflooks like...

a giant fieldof twinkle daisies.

Ooh!Ord: Ohh!

Max: Yeah!

These are just baby seedlings.

If we walk on them,we'll crush them.

Well, at least there'splenty of room to zoom.

We can flyover the twinkle daisies.

Yeah. Come on, Lorca.I can carry you over no problem.

Oh! Thanks, Ord,but I think I'll try it

another way.

It'll be more fun.

Ord: Hey!Lorca: Ha ha ha!

And he told me I was strong.

Could one of you bringmy chair across, please?

You bet!

Me next!

Ugh!

This is impossible!

How about I give you a hand,little buddy?

Max: OK!

Cassie: You're doing great, Max.

Wheezie: Yay! We did it!

We all gotpast the twinkle daisies

without steppingon a single one.

Now according to the map,

all we nave to do is godown a hill

and across a big field.

Then we'll find a big X.

And a big treasure!

Hey. That must be the big field.

Why does it look so foggy?

[Ord yawning]

And why am I suddenly so sleepy?

Oh, no. I think the fieldis full of sleepytime fog.

Sleepytime fog? What's...

[Yawns]

sleepytime fog?

It's fog that makes you sleepyif you breathe it too long.

It's not bad for you,

but it makes you goto sleep for a while.

Emmy: Hmm. I don't thinkwe can go around it.

Wheezie: Or fly over it.

I think we can go straightthrough it,

but we have to goas fast as we can.

Lorca: Uh, come on, everybody.Ready?

[Others yawning]

Emmy: OK. , , , go!

[Yawns]

[Yawns]

Ord: Don't worry, Emmy.I've got him.

Ohh. Sorry, Max.

I'm too sleepy to carry you.

Huh? Hmm. Lorca's wheelchairgives me an idea.

Here you go, Max.

Try this.

[Yawns]

I can't run another step.

I'm too sleepy.

Come on, Emmy. Don't stop now!

Just for a few minutes.

If I take a little nap,I'll be fine.

Emmy, wake up! Here!Sit on my lap!

Emmy: Thanks, Lorca.

Lorca: Just hold on!

[Zak snoring]

Just a little bit further.

I can see sunlight ahead.

[Zak snoring]

Ahh. Did we make it?

We sure did!

Everybody made itthrough the sleepytime fog!

Well, almost everybody.

[Zak snorts]

Oh! What?! Where are we?

Thanks, Lorca!

Aw. It was nothing.

Now let's go find that treasure.

Emmy: OK. The map sayswe have to walk

along a short, twisty path.

Zak: Like the one over there?

Definitely!

And there should be a big treewith a split trunk

next to a funny-shaped boulder.

Bingo!

Lorca: This is it!X marks the spot.

[Thud]

Wow! I hit something!

[Indistinct chatter]

Wheezie: Ooh!Emmy: Ooh! Ahh!

Kaleidoscopes,enough for each of us.

Wow! This one'sall green and purple.

This one is full of tiny stars.

Thanks for sharingyour map with us, Lorca.

This has beenthe best treasure hunt ever!

And maybe you could dosome more magic tricks sometime.

Emmy: I just had the best idea

for what we can makewith all this recycling stuff.

He wouldn't want to missthe Teacher's Day

surprise party for Quetzal.

If the kids in Dragon Landgive their teacher

a party every year,how come it's a surprise?

Because Teacher's Day'son a different day every year.

The kids get to choose it.

Quetzal doesn't know it's today.

[Plays pitch pipe]

Both: Enrique!

Enrique: Like it?It's my dad's pitch pipe.

I brought it along to help teach

some of Quetzal's friendsa song for la fiesta!

[Plays note]

Mi papa uses it to makethe strings

on his guitar sound just right.

Ha! Makes me look likethe music teacher

at school, no?

Emmy: Definitely! Let's go!

All: I wish, I wishwith all my heart

Ord: Oh, boy! You're here!

[Giggling]

Are you readyfor Quetzal's party?

It's our way of thanking him

for being sucha wonderful teacher.

And every year,we catch him by surprise.

Lorca: Hi, everyone.We're here to help

with the party!

Cassie: We're just waitingfor my big sister Sophie

to get home.

She's going to be in chargeof getting the chalupas ready.

I hope she gets here soon.

We should start.

So where's everybodyI'm going to teach

my song to?

They're waiting for youat the School in the Sky.

We'll go with you!

We're all ready to teach themthe way you taught us.

Look! It's the postal dragon.

Cassie, it's for you!

It's from Sophie.

She won't be able toget here in time

to help us make the chalupas.

If Sophie doesn't help,Quetzal's party will be ruined.

Oh. Uh, well, uh, my sistercan't come,

so...I'm gonna show youhow to make the food

if--if you don't mind.

So what do you need usto do first, Cassie?

Enrique: Captain Scallywag,

are you the only one here?

Yarr! Afraid so, matey.

Me crew couldn't make it.

Polly: Hello, everyone!

Look who the wind just blew in.

Wheezie: It's Polly Nimbus,the weather dragon.

I thought there would bemore singers.

At la fiesta, there will bea whole chorus.

All the students will join in.

I've already taught themthe song.

Wonderful. I've always wantedto be in a chorus.

Usually, I only singin the shower,

a thunder shower that is. Ha ha!

Bueno. Everybody line up.

Now you know that todayis El Dia del Maestro,

the Day of the Teacher.

We're going to sing a songto thank Quetzal.

We'll sing in Spanishand English!

♪ Quetzal will love that ♪

Sí, sí, but before I teach youthe words,

let's warm up.

I want you all to sing a notethat sounds like this.

Scallywag: Ahem.

Polly: ♪ Eeh aww eeh awweeh aww eeh aww ♪

Muy bien, but we justhave a little work to do.

[Takes deep breath]

OK. To make chalupas,first we have to put

chopped tomatoes on a tortilla,

then add stickleback beans.

And then we have to sprinkleRagnarok cheese

and add salsa on top.

Then the finished chalupashave to be put on trays.

Then they're ready to be served.

[Indistinct chatter]

That's about all there is to it,

so I guess we should start.

[Indistinct chatter]

Ha ha ha!

[Indistinct chatter]

This isn't working!

What did I do wrong?

Everybody's gettingin each other's way

trying to do everything at once.

The food will never be donein time this way.

Hmm. I think I knowa better way of doing this.

Everybody, stop, please!

I have an idea.Let's work as a team

to make the chalupas.

We can break up into groups,

and each groupwill do a different job.

Emmy and Max, you twowill start.

You'll put the tortillason a small plate,

then spoon in the choppedtomatoes and beans.

You will add the salsa,

sprinkle on some cheese,

and then fold them up.

And it's up to youto put the finished chalupas

on serving trays with napkins.

I'll make sure no oneruns out of anything

and answer questions, OK?

-Yeah!-Yeah

Ord: That's a great idea!

We're so sorry!

Let's make chalupas!

Lorca: Cassie, is thistoo many for one tray?

It looks good to me,

but I thoughtI'd better ask you.

I think it looksvery nice that way.

Ord: Cassie, Cassie!

Should we put the sameamount of salsa on each one

or make them different?

I think they should be the same.

Lorca: Cassie!

Do you like them this wayin rows,

or should we put themon differently?

The way you have it looks nice.

Max: Cassie!

We're running out of tomatoes.

I'll get some more.

Lorca: Cassie, uh, which wayshould we fold the napkins?

I like the triangle,but I thought you should decide.

I agree with you.The triangle looks nice.

Wait! What color napkinsshould we use?

It doesn't really matter,Lorca!

Sorry. I didn't meanto sound mad.

Heh. I guess it's hardwhen everybody

needs you at the same time.

Cassie: Yes. It's likewhen all my brothers

and sisters want my mom's helpall at the same time.

What does your mom do?

She asks the older kidsto help take care

of the younger ones.

That sounds smart.

It is! And that's whatI need to do now.

So, Lorca, I'm puttingyou in charge

of everything to dowith serving.

Me?! Ha ha! You got it!

Ord, what are you doing?

Doing the same thingover and over got boring.

I found these spicesin a cupboard,

so I thought I'd make somespecial chalupas. Ha ha!

I'll just add tingle pepperand some sizzle seeds

and of course...dragon berries. Ho ho!

Yummy!

Ahh. Want to try it? Go on.

Ohh.

Yummy, huh?

It's...different.

I'll call it chalupasa la Ord. Ha ha!

Max: What's wrong, Cassie?

Cassie: Oh. Ord's makinga different kind of chalupa.

The trouble is it doesn'ttaste very good.

You're in charge. Just tell him.

I don't want tohurt his feelings.

Emmy: It's up to youto make sure

the job's done right.

Just tell him nicely.He'll be OK.

[Sighs]

OK.

Ord, I really need you to stick

to the recipe.

We're making them just the wayQuetzal likes them.

[Gulping]

[Panting]

Maybe you're right.

Chalupas a la Ordare way too spicy.

Ehh!

Even for dragons!

Enrique: I think I knowa way to help you sing together.

Let's play a clapping game.

It goes like this.
