be crowned queen ofall the Doodle Fairies.

Max: And march inthe royal parade!

to fly with dragonsin a land apart.

Wheezie: ♪ Da da da-da,da-da-da-da-da-da-da ♪

You're just in time.

Jump in line so we can practice

for the royal parade.

Zak: Yeah. We want it to lookgreat for Princess Kidoodle.

Wheezie: ♪ Da da da-da,da-da-da-da-da-da-da ♪

Ord: Ooh!

Wheezie: Uhh!

Ord: Sorry.It's really windy today.

[Trumpet playing fanfare]

Cassie: Look. It's Sir Doodle,

from the court ofPrincess Kidoodle.

Emmy: And that'sPrincess Kidoodle's crown.

It's beautiful.

Cassie: He must bebringing the crown

to the fairy kingdomfor the ceremony.

Ord: Uh-oh!

Wheezie: What happened?

Zak: Uh, where is he?Sir Doodle?

[Trumpet playing fanfare]

Cassie: Are you OK, Sir Doodle?

You want me to hold the box?

You want me to take the crownto Princess Kidoodle?

Emmy: I guess the wind'sstill too strong

for Sir Doodle to fly.

[Playing fanfare]

Cassie: I want to helpPrincess Kidoodle,

but what if somethinghappens to the crown

while I'm carrying it?

I'd feel terrible.

Max: But if you don't bringthe crown to Princess Kidoodle,

she can't be crownedqueen of the Doodle Fairies.

Ord: Yeah. You can't let theprincess down on her big day.

Emmy: Don't worry, Cassie.We'll take

the crown there together.

Cassie: Thanks, everybody.

If you all help,

maybe we can do it.

We have to.

Max: Can we takeSir Doodle with us?

Emmy: Definitely.

Zak: I'm not so sureit's safe for us

to fly in this wind.

Wheezie: You know, Zak,for once I agree with you.

I think it would be saferto walk.

Zak: Eww. A purple goo bog.What do we do?

Wheezie: Walk right through!

Zak: But then we'll getall sticky and gooey.

I don't want to look messy for

Princess Kidoodle's crowning.

Emmy: Me neither.I'm wearing

my favorite party dress.

Ord: Maybe we can findanother way.

Emmy: What about thosestepping stones?

Maybe we can walk on themto get across.

Max: Yeah, stepping stones.

Emmy: Huh?Ord: Uh, hey.

Wheezie: You meanstepping turtles.

Hey, turtles!

Can you please help us cross?

[Squeaking]

Max: I guess they'retoo far away to hear us.

Wheezie: What about the boat?Maybe we could row across.

Zak: We won't all fitin a boat that small.

Ord: What are we gonna do?

We can't fly over the bog

and we can'twalk or roll across it.

Max: Maybe we can go under it.

Emmy: How are we gonnado that, Max?

We don't have timeto dig a tunnel.

Zak and Wheezie: Knuckerholes!

Zak: We have a map that shows

every knuckerholein Dragon Land.

Wheezie: There's the bogand there's the knuckerhole

between those two big rocks.

Zak: Does anybody seetwo big rocks?

Emmy: Nothing here.

Ord: I don't see any boulders.Hey!

What are those twogreat, big rocks doing here?

Max: These aren't just twogreat, big rocks, Ord.

These are the rockswe've been looking for.

Ord: Ooh! Hey, everybody!I found them!

Zak: And here's the knuckerhole.Yahoo!Wheezie: Yahoo!

Emmy: Yahoo!Max: Yeah!

Ord: Whee!

Wheezie: Oh![Emmy and Max laugh]

Wheezie: We did it! Ha ha!Zak: We did it!

Wheezie: Look, Zaky,our dragon badges

are glowing.

Zak: Yeah.

When we work together...

Zak and Wheezie: Two headsare better than one.

[Zak laughs]

Emmy: Definitely.

Max: Which way tothe fairy kingdom now,

Sir Doodle?

[Rumbling]Ord: Do you hear that?

Max: What?[Rumbling continues]

Ord: Is that...thunder?

That thunder soundstoo loud and scary for me.

I'm gonna stay right hereuntil the storm goes away.

Cassie: What storm?

Ord: I know thunderwhen I hear it.

You all go onand bring that crown

to Princess Kidoodle.

I'll catch up with you later.

Max: We're not going anywherewithout you, Ord.

Wheezie: Sure.Cassie: Yeah.

Emmy: Of course.Zak: That's right.

Emmy: We're allin this together.

Cassie: We couldn't leave you.

Ord: But if you don'tkeep going,

Princess Kidoodlewon't get her crown.

Max: That's why you have tocome with us, Ord.

Ord: I can't! Ohh.

But I don't want to letthe princess down.

Cassie: You won'tbe alone, Ord.

We'll all be with youevery step of the way.

Max: Let's hold hands.

Zak: We'll take itnice and slow.

Ord: Ohh.

Zak: Very slow.

Wheezie: Step by step.

Zak: We're moving on.

Max: We're all right here...

Emmy: Till your fears are gone.

Wheezie: Hey, we made a rhymein time to the thunder.

Zak: Ha! Let's say it again.

Step by step.

Max, Emmy, Cassie, Zak,Wheezie: We're moving on.

Ord: Till my fears are gone.

[Drumbeat]

Ohh.

[Drumbeat continues]

Giants?

Max: And giant drums.

I bet they're on their wayto see

Princess Kidoodle, too.

Ord: I'm sorry I wassuch a scaredy dragon.

Max: But you came upthe hill anyway,

even though you wereafraid, Ord.

That was really brave.

Ord: Hey! My dragon badge.

Cassie: Go, Ord![Kids and dragonstalking at once]

Wheezie: Hmm.It's not too windy.

Maybe it's safe to fly.

Cassie: Let's try.

Emmy: The fairy kingdom!

Max: Finally!

Emmy: They're locked.

Wheezie: Locked?On the day Princess Kidoodle

is getting crowned queen ofall the Doodle Fairies?

Zak: Yeah. Why would theylock the gates

with all the guests coming?

Max: Hey, hello!

Doodle Fairies!

Can you hear me?

Cassie: I read a book aboutDoodle Fairies.

I think you have to sayspecial words

to open the gates.

But maybe I'm notremembering it right.

Zak: We can't flyover the gate.

There's no room.

Wheezie: And there's not aknuckerhole for miles around.

Cassie: I have to rememberthe words.

Fairykins, metal gate.

Wait.

I think it was silver gate.

Right. Silver gate so big.

So high? No.

Silver gate so big and wide.

But what was the next part?

Ord: Come on, open up!

Please? We'll missthe royal feast,

and I'm hungry!

Cassie: Um, Ord,shaking the gates won't help.

There are special wordsto open them

and we all have to saythe words together.

Zak: Special words?Well, why didn't you say so?

Cassie: I wanted to, but I was

afraid I might be wrong.

Emmy: So, how does it go?

Wheezie: Lay it on us, Cassie.

Cassie: I'll say it first,

then we all have torepeat it together.

Silver gate, so big and wide--[gasp]

we need to enter,so, move aside.

Max: We're in!

Emmy: I'm sure happyyou told us, Cassie.

Cassie: Me, too.

Cassie: Don't worry,Princess Kidoodle.

We have it.We have your crown.

[Trumpet playing fanfare]

[Playing folk song]

[Drumbeat]

[Playing fanfare]

Max: They're starting!

Emmy: Hurry!

Cassie: Wait a minute.

What about--uhh.

Oh, no!

The crown!

[Fanfare continues]

All: Hip-hip-hooray!

Emmy and Max: I wish, I wish,to use this rhyme

to go back homeuntil next time.

Emmy: Everything tasted so goodat the royal feast.

I loved the doodle noodles.

Max: My favorite wasthe doodle strudel.

Emmy: I'm so fullI don't think I'll be able to

eat again for days.

Woman: Emmy! Max! Dinner!

[Both laugh]

Woman: Hola, Max and Emmy.

Emmy: Hi, Enrique.Max: Hola.

Enrique: ¿Que estan haciendo?

Emmy: I'm looking for chalk.

Max: And I'm looking formy lucky hopscotch rock.

Found it!

Enrique:I've heard of hopscotch.

How exactly do you play?

Emmy: We'll teach you whenwe get to Dragon Land.

All: I wish, I wish,with all my heart

to fly with dragonsin a land apart.

[All laugh]

Zak: You're cold.

Wheezie: Oh, oh,getting hotter!

Cassie: Hi.They hid Wheezie's snoot flute

and I have to find it.

Zak: We're playinghot and cold.

Emmy: I know that game.You say hot

the closer Cassie gets towhat she's looking for

and cold when she getsfarther away.

Wheezie: Right!And Cassie is smokin' hot!

Cassie: Found it.

Wheezie: And we have a winner!

Enrique: We playedthat game in Colombia, too,

except we called itCaliente y Frio.

Max: Hey, that's Spanishfor "hot and cold."

Enrique: Si, si, Max.

Ord: Hi, Max. Hi, Emmy.Hi, Enrique.

Emmy: Are you OK, Ord?

Ord: No. Quetzal's teaching usnumbers in Spanish

and I'm having a reallyhard time learning them.

Enrique: Maybe I canhelp you, Ord.

Max: Emmy and I can help, too.

We know lots of Spanish.

Numbers are easy to learn.

Ord: Not for me.

Zak: What you need to dois play a fun game

to take your mind offschool work.

And now that everyone's here...

Wheezie: Hopscotch time.

Emmy: I brought chalk.

Max: I have my lucky rock.

Emmy: See,what you do, Enrique,

is you make squares

and number them one to .

Then you toss a rockinto square one...

Enrique: And then hop overyour rock in square one

and hop from square to square

until you getback to the start.

Pick up your rockand start again,

this time with square two.

Max: I thought youdidn't know hopscotch.

Enrique: I don't.In Colombia,

we called it rayuela,

and we only used squares,

and we called out the numberswhile we hopped.

In Spanish, of course.

Emmy: Why don't weplay rayuela?

It'll be fun and mighthelp Ord learn his numbers.

Ord: You mean I have tosay all the numbers

in Spanish when I jump?

Wheezie: Abso-toot-olutely.We all do.

Emmy: OK, so that's squares,not .

Uno, dos...

Kids and dragons:Tres, cuatro, cinco,

seis, siete, ocho!

Ord: Ohh. Everyone knowstheir numbers in Spanish

except for me.

Zak: Don't worry, Ord.

By the time we finish playing,

you'll know them, too!

Cassie: Repeating wordsover and over

is a great way to learn.

Ord: Well, if it'll help,I'll try,

and I do like hopscotch.

Max: With my lucky rock,I don't even need to look.

It'll land right in the box.

Emmy: Uh, Max?

Max: The numbers are gone!

Zak: That rock doesn't seemso lucky to me.

[Voice laughs]

Emmy: It's Normthe number gnome.

Cassie: And he has all thenumbers from our rayuela game.

Max: No fair.Give them back.

Norm: , , , .Don't I get to have some fun?

Zak: Well, do you want to playrayuela with us?

Norm: No.I like your other game.

Hot and cold.Was that its name?

Emmy: Uh, yes, but--

Norm: That's the gameI like a lot.

I'll hide the numbers.Tell you when they're

cold or hot.

Enrique: You hide the numbersand we have to find them?

Cassie: I guess that doessound like fun.

Enrique: I have one idea.

We can use this game

to help Ord instead.

Ord: Really? OK.

Wheezie: Looove it!

Norm: The first two numbers,believe it or not,

are very near.You're getting hot!

Cassie: So, numbers one and two

must be here in the playground.

Zak: Hey!Look, Wheez. Uno!

Wheezie: Now, that isone swinging number.

Enrique: Now we have to findnumber two. Dos.

Ord: Dos.I wish there was

some kind of fun wayto help me remember

that "dos" is "two."

Max: Yeah, that's a tough one.

Emmy: I have a way.

Think of a rhyming word.

Adios!

Ord: You're leaving, Emmy?

[Emmy laughs] No.

"Adios" is a Spanish word

that rhymes with "dos."

Ord: But "adios" means"good-bye" in Spanish.

Emmy: Right! So, maybea good way to remember "dos"

is to think of two handswaving adios.

And "adios" rhymes with "dos."

Ord: Two hands waving adios.

"Adios" rhymes with "dos."

[Laughs]

Cassie: I found it.Numero dos.

Wheezie: Two down, more numbers to go.

Norm: This playground searchis getting old.

Look someplace elsebecause you're cold.

Ord: Numbers and .

I sure wish I couldremember them in Spanish.

Cassie: Ord, sometimeswhen I want

to remember difficult things,

I make up a song.

Ord: How do you use a song

to remember Spanish numbers?

Ord: Let me try!

You are now getting very hot.

Enrique:Look, everyone--cuatro.

Norm: Don't you dally.Don't you know?

You still have more numbers to go.

Max: Can't you give us a hint?

Norm: You want a hint?Then you should go

All: Mushroom Meadow!

Ord: We've beenlooking and looking.

Zak: Yeah, no numberson any mushrooms.

Max: Or under any mushrooms.

Emmy: Wait a minute.Norm said

Ord: We found it just in time.

I'll remember cinco.

Zak: OK, so, we have more numbers to find.

Emmy: Seis, siete, y ocho, Ord.

Ord: I'm stillworking on remembering

the first numbersin Spanish, Emmy.

Wh-what's that?

Norm: You're getting hotter.You should go

where trees of dandelions grow.

Cassie: Dandelion Forest.

Why don't we fly there?

Enrique: Why don't we practicethe numbers in Spanish

from uno to cuatrowhile we fly, Ord?

Ord: OK.

Wheezie: That means we only haveone more number to go.

[Norm laughs]

So, go backto where you started from.

Enrique: The School in the Skyplayground?

Max: We looked everywhere.

Ord: Maybe we counted wrong

and we already foundall the numbers.

Hmm. Uno, dos, tres, cuatro,

cinco, seis, siete...nope, no ocho.

Max: Hey, Ord, look how high

you just counted in Spanish,

all by yourself.

Ord: I did!

And it made mereally hungry.

I'm gonna havea dragonberry muffin.

[Munching]

What's on my muffin?

Cassie: It's ocho.Number .

Emmy: No wonder we were hot.

We would have been hotwherever we were

because Norm hid itin Ord's pouch.

[All laugh]

[Norm laughs]Hiding numbers sure was fun.
