Enrique: OK, Max. Ready? Max: Ready.

I'll bet we can make it stay up even longer this time.

Ah!

Boys: Go, go, go! [Laughter]

Emmy: Oops. Sorry.

Max: That's OK, Emmy.

Enrique: Do you want to play trompos with us?

I have an extra one.

Emmy: No, thanks, Enrique.

I was thinking of going somewhere else to play.

Boys: Dragon Land!

Kids: I wish, I wish with all my heart

to fly with dragons in a land apart.

Wheezie: Nice catch, Enrique!

Ord: Hi, everybody.

Cassie: Hi, Emmy!

You want to see the new crystals in my collection?

Emmy: They're beautiful, Cassie.

Zak: We were just gonna ask 'em if they wanted to play

dragon disc with us.

Ord: You, too, Cassie.

It's more fun with lots of players.

Cassie: I'll show you my crystals after we play, OK?

Emmy: Definitely.

Ord: Ya-hoo!

Max: This one's going all the way to outer space.

Ord: Whoa! I got it! I got it. Uh! Uhh.

What have I got?

[Wheezie gasps] Zak: That's not our dragon disc.

[Star chuckles] Star: Heavens, no. I'm a star.

Max: A for-real star from the sky?

Celeste: My name is Celeste. I'm part of the Little Sipper.

Dragons and kids: Ah!

Emmy: We've never met a star before.

I'm Emmy. This is my brother Max

and our friends Enrique, Ord, Cassie,

Zak and Wheezie.

Enrique: Hola. Ord: Hi, Celeste!

Wheezie: Ohh! You are so lucky to be a star

up in the night sky, where everyone can see you

all twinkly-alinkly.

Celeste: I do love being a star,

but sometimes I don't feel so lucky.

Zak: Why not?

Celeste: Because I can only see Dragon Land at night,

when it's dark.

I never get to see any of the wonderful things that happen

when the sun is shining.

Cassie: You mean you've never seen

a flower open in the morning?

Ord: Or a parade?

Wheezie: Or a dragon ball game? Celeste: Or a rainbow.

But I've heard about them in stories.

They sound so beautiful.

Enrique: Qué lástima.

Is that why you came down from the sky?

Celeste: Yes. I just had to see a rainbow for myself.

But now I realize I don't know where to find one,

and I have to be back before nighttime.

Emmy: We can help you find a rainbow, Celeste.

Max: Yeah, Dragon Land has lots of them.

Celeste: Really? [Chuckles]

Thank you.

Cassie: I wonder where we should look first.

Dragons: Hmm.

Wheezie: Oh! Oh! Oh! I know! I know!

Zakky and I saw one this morning.

Zak: We did? Wheezie: Uh-huh,

when we were flying loop-de-loops

over the Stickleback Mountains.

You had your eyes closed. Zak: Ugh. Don't remind me.

My stomach's still doing loop-de-loops.

Celeste: Oh! A real rainbow.

I can't wait to see it.

Wheezie: Come on, Enrique!

[Emmy chuckling]

Wheezie: Follow me, everybody!

Ord: Hey!

Wheezie: There!

Enrique: Whoa!

Zak: I don't see any rainbow, Wheezie.

And this time, I've got my eyes open.

Wheezie: Why, it was right here, I think.

Celeste: Where did it go?

Ord: Rainbows don't really stick around for that long.

Max: I know a place where they do.

Straight ahead to Rainbow Falls. There's always rainbows there.

Emmy: When we get to Rainbow Falls,

maybe you'll find some rainbow crystals

for your collection, Cassie.

Cassie: I just hope we can find Rainbow Falls. It's so foggy.

Celeste: There's no rainbow.

Max: I'm sorry, Celeste.

Ord: Wait. I see something.

Ooh!

[Laughter]

Nope, not a rainbow.

Zak: Whoa! Uh!

Wheezie: Did we miss it?

Celeste: There wasn't anything to miss.

[Others sigh]

Celeste: That's OK. Thanks for trying.

Emmy: I wish we could just make a rainbow.

Zak: Yeah. But how?

Enrique: I know what makes them.

Celeste: You do?

Enrique: My papá and I saw lots

when we went hiking in the rainforest.

Just after a rain, the rainbows would appear,

but I guess we can't make it rain.

Wheezie: Maybe not, but we know someone who can.

Dragons, Emmy, and Max: Pollynimbus the weather dragon!

Max: Hello? Anybody home?

Pollynimbus: Oh, hello there. Good to see you.

And some new faces, too.

Ord: Uh-huh! This is our new friend Enrique

and our really, really new friend Celeste.

Pollynimbus: It's a pleasure. I'm Pollynimbus.

Enrique: Do you really make all the weather in Dragon Land?

[Chuckling] Pollynimbus: Sure do.

But I'm all done for today.

You see that beautiful fog on the way here?

That took all morning. Ooh. I'm pooped.

Cassie: It was really thick. We couldn't see anything.

Pollynimbus: Thank you.

Emmy: Polly, we know you worked really hard today,

but we were hoping you could make it rain,

just a little.

Wheezie: So that Celeste can see a rainbow.

She's traveled all the way from the Little Sipper to see one.

Ord: Can you make it rain?

Pretty please with dragonberries on top.

Uh, mmm. Dragonberries.

Pollynimbus: Oh, why not? Rain's a breeze.

[Dragons, kids, and Celeste cheer]

Pollynimbus: But I can't promise that there's

going to be a rainbow.

They don't always appear, you know.

[Whirring and rumbling]

Oh, you better get back down to the ground

before the big downpour starts.

It's no fun to fly in the rain.

Cassie: Okey-doke... Emmy: Definitely.

Ord: Thank you! Enrique: Thank you, Polly.

Celeste: Yes, thank you so much for making it rain.

It was nice to meet you. Pollynimbus: Likewise.

And you're welcome.

Glad I could help. Good luck with the rainbow.

Zak: How long do you think this rain storm's going to last?

Wheezie: For a while, I hope.

[Raindrops hitting mushrooms rhythmically]

Wheezie: I just love mushroom music.

Emmy: Why don't you show me your crystals while we wait, Cassie?

Cassie: OK. This one's my favorite.

Celeste: Look.

The rain is stopping.

Ord: The clouds are leaving.

Wheezie: Oh! Oh! ♪ Here it comes ♪

Enrique: Any second now.

[All sigh]

Max: I don't see a rainbow.

Celeste: Me neither.

Zak: Polly did say she couldn't guarantee there'd be a rainbow.

Emmy: There's got to be something else we can do.

Celeste: Ohh, you really tried hard, but it's almost dark,

and I should get back to the sky.

Thank you all for-- Cassie: Wait, Celeste!

I think I know how to make a little rainbow...

Celeste: Really?

Cassie: with a crystal like this.

Emmy: We have one of those in school. It's called a prism.

Cassie: If I shine a light through it...

[Dragons and kids oohing and ahing]

Cassie and Ord: Wow.

Emmy: Hey, cool.

Cassie: But it's only on the ground, not in the sky.

It's really tiny. Sorry.

Emmy: But what if we had a really big crystal?

Ord: Oh. Let me just--uh, uh...

there you are!

Max: Did you find a humongo crystal?

Ord: Nope. Found my lunch.

Mmm, mmm.

Wheezie: Oh! Oh! Oh!

[Ord chuckles]

Wheezie: I know where there's

the biggest, rainbowiest crystals in the whole world.

Zak: Crystal Cave.

Cassie: Let's go!

Max: Can you find a crystal like yours, Cassie?

Cassie: Um, let me see.

[Ding] There!

We have to move it towards the light.

[All groaning]

Ord: I'll carry it.

Max: Wow, Ord! You're super strong.

Wheezie: Oh, is it gonna work? Is it gonna work?

Enrique: Wow!

Celeste: Ohh.

Enrique: way to go, Ord! [All speaking excitedly]

Celeste: Oh, it's so beautiful.

Zak: Ha ha! Look! Our badges.

Ord: They're glowing because we didn't give up.

Cassie: And they're making the rainbow even bigger.

Celeste: I cannot wait to tell the other stars

how wonderful and colorful a rainbow is.

Enrique: Look. The sun is setting.

Celeste: I really have to go.

Thank you all so much.

Dragons and kids: Bye, Celeste. Zak: Good-bye.

Enrique: Adios.

Celeste: I will never forget you.

Wheezie: Ohh. I'm so sorry that Celeste had to go,

but I guess the Little Sipper wouldn't be as twinkly

without her.

Zak: I wonder which one she is.

Ord: Look! It's Celeste.

Kids: I wish, I wish to use this rhyme

to go back home until next time.

Enrique: Hey, it's almost stopped raining.

Emmy: What are you doing, Max?

Max: I'm waiting for a rainbow.

[Laughter]

Max: Hurry up, Emmy. We're gonna be late.

Emmy: I know, I know. I'm coming.

Max: Huh?

It's starting to glow, Emmy.

Emmy: Phew. Ready. Max: Uh...

Kids: I wish, I wish with all my heart

to fly With dragons in a land apart.

Max: Hi, everybody. Whoa! Emmy: Oh.

Ord: Come on! We have to be there the minute it opens.

[Laughter]

Wheezie: Wow. Zak: Ya-hoo!

Ord: Yay! Neat! Yay! Hee hee! Cassie: Yeah!

[Worker chuckles]

Wheezie: We did it!

We're gonna be the first ones in the park today.

[Excited chatter and laughter]

Max: Wow! Look at all the rides and games and--

Cassie: What should we do first?

Max: Ooh. I want to go on that one.

Turtle: Clear!

[Dragons laughing and speaking excitedly]

Emmy: Wheezie, is that the new ride you were talking about,

The Skipper?

Wheezie: That's the one.

Uhh!

Zak: Not so fast, Wheezie.

We've never been on a ride like that before

Wheezie: That's because it's new, silly. Let's go!

Zak: No way. I don't like new rides.

I'm only going on rides I've been on before.

Wheezie: Aw, Zakky.

Emmy: Hey, where's Ord?

Cassie: Ha ha! Where else?

Kids and dragons: Food Shack!

[Ord licks lips]

Ord: Mmm! Mmm! Granola on a stick.

Thank you.

Mmm. Mmm.

Emmy: Ooh, that looks good. I want a snack, too.

Cassie: Yeah. Max: Let's go!

[Emmy laughing]

Ord: Zak, Wheezie, what's the matter?

Don't you want to try all the different snacks?

Wheezie: Yummy in my tummy. Zak: No.

Wheezie: "No"?

Ord: But they have cheesy logs, frozen bananas,

nutty mini-apples.

Max: Mmm! These apples are really good.

You should taste one.

Zak: Hmm. Wheezie: Oh, come on, Zakky.

Zak: No way. I've never tried that kind of food before.

That's why I brought this along.

Peanut butter and dragonberry. Mmm.

Wheezie: Well, at least let me try something new.

Zak: No, Wheezie.

You might give us both a tummy ache.

Here. Want half of my sandwich?

[Wheezie sighs]

Wheezie: I suppose it's better than nothing.

Max: Mmm. Emmy: Oh, I'm stuffed.

Cassie: Couldn't eat another bite.

[Stomach rumbles]

Zak: Uh-oh. I'm still hungry.

I should have brought more sandwiches.

Wheezie: Watch out. Zak gets kind of grumpy when he's hungry.

Zak: I do not!

[Chuckles softly]

OK, maybe a little.

Cassie: If you're still hungry, Zak,

maybe you should at least try some of the park's yummy food.

Zak: I don't know, Cassie.

I don't like to try new things. [Wheezie sighs]

Emmy: I bet you've tried lots of things that were new

until you got used to them.

Zak: Oh, like what?

Ord: Like flying in a race. Cassie: Or swimming in a lake.

Emmy: Yeah! Weren't you happy

after you tried flying and swimming?

Zak: I guess. Maybe I could try something new.

But what if I don't like it?

Ord: Ooh, ooh, ooh! I'll eat it. [Laughter]

Cassie: Don't worry, Zak.

If you don't like what you try, you don't have to finish it.

Zak: Oh. All right. I am hungry.

Wheezie: ♪ Love it! ♪

Ord: One cheesy log for my friend, please.

Thank you.

Zak: Eew. It looks so, so... [Wheezie licks lips]

Wheezie: Cheesy?

Zak: No. Loggy. Max: Go on, Zak.

Just try one bite. Wheezie: Mm-hmm.

Wheezie: Well? Zak: Hey,

it doesn't taste as bad as I thought it would,

but I think I've had enough.

I'd like to try something else, please.

Wheezie: Ooh! A frozen banana!

Zak: Hmm. No, thank you.

Ord: Yum. Thank you. Thank you.

Zak: What else do you have back there?

Max: Zak, try this. It's my favorite,

corn cob on a stick.

Zak: On a stick? Hmm, I don't know.

Hey.

Oh, yeah! Now, this is good.

Mmm. This is really good.

Wheezie: He likes it. Zakky really likes it.

Zak: Mmm. I'm so glad I tried all those new foods.

Cobs on a stick are so tasty.

Wheezie: I'm glad you tried something new, too.

[Snorts]

Max: Are you ready to try out the new rides now?

Zak: Oh, I don't know.

Emmy: Come on, Zak. You tried the new foods.

Cassie: Yeah, Zak. You might have fun.

Zak: Well, if you think so. Ord: Then let's go.

[All laugh and speak excitedly]

[Zak moans]

[Kids and dragons speaking excitedly and cheering]

[Cassie laughs]

[Laughter]

Max: All right! Ord: Come on.

Dragons and kids: Whoa. [Laughter]

Max: The daisy ride is my favorite.

Emmy: I like the Bumpity Dragon best.

Cassie: I could ride the Mushroom Bounce forever.

Ord: Hee hee. I like the Food Shack best.

Emmy: So, Zak, what do you think about all these new rides?

Zak: Well, I liked some, and I didn't like some,

just like the new food, but I'm glad I tried.

Wheezie: Me, too.

Max: What are we gonna do next?

Zak: Maybe I'm ready to try The Skipper.

[All cheer, Wheezie laughs and snorts]

Wheezie: Zak, I thought you didn't want to ride The Skipper.

Zak: I know. Guess I'm getting into trying new things.

Wheezie: Oh, Zak, I'm so proud of you.

[Zak moans]

Turtle: Clear!

[Dragons and kids speaking excitedly and laughing]

Emmy: Ha ha! I am soaked.

Turtle: Thank you for riding The Skipper.

Please come again soon.

Cassie: Zak, are you all right?

Ord: Maybe it was too scary for him.

Max: Say something, Zak. Didn't you like it?

Zak: Like it? I... ♪ Love it! ♪

[Wheezie groans]

Anybody want to go again? Hee hee.

Wheezie: Yeah! Ord: Yeah, OK!

Cassie: Come on! Wheezie: Let's go again!

Kids: Bye, everyone.

I wish, I wish to use this rhyme

to go back home until next time.

Dad: Time for dinner, kids!

We're trying something new tonight, Hungarian goulash,

and I don't want to hear any complaints.

Emmy: Oh, Dad. We like trying new things. Don't we, Max?

Max: ♪ Love it! ♪
