which I realize sounds like the set-up

to a really bad joke,
but it was Halloween,

and I had to hide

in the storage room until he left.

an entire kindergarten class of clowns

- showing up at my firehouse?

I mean, Boden foisted Carver onto me,

and then I foisted him
onto Gallo and Mouch.

That's how it works.

Gallo and Mouch don't get a vote.

I could have maybe

I don't want Gallo feeling resentful.

Gallo can feel however he wants,

so long as he shows up
on time and does his job.

from a grenade launcher.

It's a low velocity grenade
that uses blast pressure

to bust a door down from a distance

and k*ll whoever is on the other side.

It's highly specialized stuff.

So why is someone running
around sh**ting this thing for fun

in an abandoned warehouse on Pulaski?
