What do you think could be inside there?

I think it's something really big, like...

like a rocket ship!

Oh, that would be so cool.

[barks]

Okay, Blue, open the box!

[barking]

Oh... well, that's too bad.

I really wanted to play rocket ship.

[barks]

Oh, well...

I guess we'll just have to play something else.

[barks]

Backgammon, maybe.

I've always wanted to learn.

[barking]

Hey... I wonder what Blue's doing back there.

[barks as if talking on radio]

It looks like Blue is imagining something with the box.

[barks]

Well, what do you think she's imagining?

[barks as if talking on radio]

Rocket ship!

[barks "rocket ship"]

Rocket ship?

That's exactly what I wanted to play today.

Do you want to play rocket ship, too?

[barking]

[as if on radio]: Are you ready for blastoff, Captain Blue?

[barks yes]

All right. Time for the countdown.

[as Blue barks along]: Five...

three...

two...

one...

blastoff!

[imitating rocket engine whooshing]

[barking]

Mission accomplished.

We're in outer space.

[barks]

Hey, wow, Blue.

You figured out that if we imagine

this box can be a rocket ship.

[barks]

A rocket ship box.

Cool.

[barking]

What, Blue, you don't want to play rocket ship anymore?

[barks no]

Oh. Well, is there something else

you'd like to play with the box?

[barks yes]

[barking]

Oh! Great idea.

We'll play Blue's Clues to figure out

what else Blue wants to play with the box.

So remember, Blue's paw print will be on the clues:

I think the paw print is imagining

it's a rocket ship, too.

[as if on radio]: Good luck, Paw Print.

Hey, you know what we need to Blue's Clues.

Our handy-dandy...

Can't forget our rocket ship box.

Hey... do you think if we imagine

this box...

could be a car?

[imitates engine...]

[imitates engine roaring...]

[Steve imitates tires squealing]

[imitates turning on car alarm]

[giggles]

To play Blue's Clues, we got to find a...

Paw print!

Oh, a paw print, right.

And that's our first... Clue!

Then we put it in our... Notebook.

♪ You know what do-- sit down in our Thinking Chair ♪

♪ 'Cause when we use our minds, take a step at a time ♪

[barks]

You know, I can tell I'm really going to need your help today

trying to figure out what else Blue wants to play with our box.

You will help, right?

[imitates tires squealing]

[imitates engine, tires squealing]

You see a clue?

Oh... oh, there's a clue.

Right here, on these wheels.

You know what we need.

Our handy-dandy...

So... wheels.

For wheels, we start off with two circles

with smaller circles inside...

and some colored-in circles.

And we have wheels.

So we're trying to figure out

what else Blue wants to play with the box

and our first clue... is wheels.

Do you know?

Maybe... but let's find two more clues, just to make sure.

Think I'll just take my car here.

That's funny.

I could have sworn I parked it right here.

Hurry, Shovel, we're almost there.

Hey, Shovel and Pail.

I see you found our car.

What car, Steve?

We're playing something else.

Uh-oh, the sharks are swimming through the water.

Quick, Horace, let's get in, too!

Let's row across the ocean.

Uh-oh.

Horace wants to get to dry land

but he doesn't know how to swim.

Steve, come get Horace.

Uh, hang on.

What do you think Shovel and Pail

are imagining the box is?

A boat!

Right-- Shovel and Pail are imagining

they're rowing a boat through the water.

And they want... us...

to go get Horace!

It can be so many different things.

First it was a boat, then it was a fire truck...

and now it's a restaurant.

All because we were imagining.

on these tracks.

We better put this clue in our handy-dandy...

So... tracks.

Let's start with two long lines...

and then some short lines across them.

So, what was our first clue?

Wheels.

Wheels, right.

And now our second clue is tracks.

So, what else could Blue want to do with the box

with wheels and tracks?

Do you know?

Oh... maybe

but I think we better find our last clue just to be sure.

UNKNOWN VOICE: Steve... Blue...?

[barking "Blue Skidoo" tune]

Hey, Blue just skidooed into that diorama.

Let's go, too.

We should probably bring our box, just in case.

♪ Blue Skidoo, we can, too.

VOICE: Steve, Blue...

Hey, where's that voice coming from?

Steve...

Steve.

Do you know?

In the tower!

[barks]

Oh, wow.

Look, that tower is really far away.

Hi! We're coming!

Whoa... we just have to get over

this really high wall.

And all we have is this box.

Wait a minute.

We have this box.

[barks]

And we're really good at imagining with it

so... what do you think this box could be

that would help us fly over this wall

and land on the other side?

An airplane!

An airplane.

Of course!

Because an airplane flies over things

and lets you land on the other side.

That's perfect.

[barks]

[engine chugging]

Wow! Look...

There's the wall.

This imagining is powerful stuff.

We'll be at that tower in no time.

And snowy, too.

And the tower is all the way down there.

[barks]

I don't know how we're going to slide down this hill.

Let's imagine.

So... what could this box be

that would help us slide down this snowy hill?

Of course, that's a perfect way to slide down a hill.

Look, there's the tower!

Hurry! I live on the top floor.

Okay, we'll be right up.

Wow, that's a lot of stairs.

He said the top floor, right?

Hey, maybe if we imagine

this box could help us get to the top of the tower

so we don't have to climb all those stairs.

[barks]

So, it looks like Blue is pushing a button

so she can go to the top floor.

Wonder what she's doing.

[barks]

Well, what could this box be

so we don't have to climb the stairs?

An elevator!

Of course!

Top floor, please.

[barks]

[bell dinging each floor]

Okay, now that we're in our Thinking Chair, let's think.

You will help, right?

Great.

So, we're trying to figure out

what else Blue wants to play with the box

and our clues are...

wheels...

tracks...

and a line that goes up and down.

So, what else could Blue want to play with the box

with wheels, tracks, and a line that goes up and down?

Well, what if the wheels were right next to each other

and, and what if they went along the track?

What would that be?

A train!

A train, yeah.

And... what if the tracks went up and down on that line?

So the train went up and down.

What would that be then?

A roller coaster!

A roller coaster!

Yeah, that's it, because a roller coaster has wheels

it goes along a track

and it goes up and down.

We just figured out Blue's Clues!

And then it was an airplane

a sled and an elevator.

Can you think of anything else it could be?

This box can be so many different things.

[barks]

This is an Anything Box

because if we imagine

it can be anything we want it to be.

And right now, it's a roller coaster.

Come on.

There's a really big hill ahead of us.

ALL [Blue barking]: Whoa...
