so Blue could look at it

when she's sitting in her chair?

Okay, Blue, is this a good spot?

[barks happily]

See, Blue, now you can get comfortable

in your chair and look at your painting.

Your special place is going to be

just the way you like it.

on the table.

This is where I like to sit

for trying out new songs.

trying to figure out what's going to be

Blue's favorite thing to do in her special place.

Sounds like Mr. Salt.

You found our first clue!

And it's on this...

um... what is this?

Paper.

Right, paper.

There's a clue on this paper.

And look, this paper has holes on the side.

I wonder what they're for.

Well, you know what we need--

our handy-dandy...

Right.

So, paper.

Let's start with a rectangle

with part of another rectangle behind it...

add some little circles for the holes...

and we have paper.

There, our first clue.

So... I wonder what's going to be

Blue's favorite thing to do in her special place with paper.

Do you know?

Well, we'll need to find two more clues, just to be sure.

SALT: Steve?

Where are you?

Oh.

Mr. Salt?

Didn't Mr. Salt just call us?

We could really use some help.

Oh, okay, coming.

Do you want see where Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Paprika live?

Come on-- we should probably knock.

SALT: Come on in!

Over here, Steve, in Paprika's room.

Welcome, Steve.

Wow! Hi!

What a great room, Paprika.

I like my new room.

Steve, I have a big bed.

Hey, look at that.

It's much bigger

than your peanut shell cradle.

It must be really warm and comfortable.

And, Steve, I have new things.

Now that Paprika is growing up

she has some new big-kids things in her room.

That's great, Paprika!

And look--

here are some baby things!

We will save them for the new baby.

Like this mobile.

[mobile chiming]

I like music in my room.

But I don't want the mobile.

You want music in your room, Paprika?

Maybe one of your new big-kids things can help.

Let's take a look.

That way Paprika can listen to music.

Our Paprika is so smart.

When you have to go to the bathroom

what will you use instead of diapers?

What big-kid thing can Paprika use now

when she wants to go to the bathroom?

The potty.

I go on the potty.

Of course!

Paprika uses the potty

when she has to go to the bathroom.

That's a really big-kid thing to do.

Put these away.

Oh, right.

Let's put these baby toys away

so we'll have room

for some new big-kid toys.

Tower.

I want to build a tower.

Ah, you want to build a tower

but you don't want to use

this toy anymore.

I wonder if there is something

in this pile of big-kid things

that you can use to build a tower.

Which of these things could Paprika use

to build a tower?

The blocks.

STEVE: You're right.

Paprika can use these blocks

to build a tower.

I'm building up, up, up!

We've finished.

Paprika, it's so exciting

that you have so many new things.

So, what's going to be Blue's favorite thing to do

in her special place with paper and a pencil?

Oh, that's a good idea.

But we should probably find our last clue.

because Blue loves making up stories

and acting them out with puppets.

let's think, because this is our special place for thinking.

So, our first clue was paper.

Our second clue was a pencil.

And now our third clue is yarn.

So, we're trying to figure out

what's going to be Blue's favorite thing to do

in her special place with paper, a pencil and yarn.

What could she do with the paper and the pencil?

Yeah... yeah, she could write on the paper with the pencil.

But what could she do with the yarn?

Hey, well, this paper has holes in it

so... so, maybe... maybe she could take the yarn

and put it through the holes

and kind of tie all the paper together.

What would she be doing then?

Making a book.

So, maybe making books is going to be

Blue's favorite thing to do in her special place.

[barks "mm-hmm"]

And there's my counting place.

And Sidetable's singing hideout.

Oh, and Mailbox and Paprika, too.
