Hola, soy Dora.

And I'm Boots.

We're getting ready for the Big Backpack Costume Parade.

Do you like parades?

We do too.

And Backpack's costume is all done.

Let's call out to her.

Say, "come out, Backpack."

Louder!

Come out, Backpack.

There she is.

Hola.

Is my costume ready, Dora?

Is it, is it?

It sure is.

I made you a princess costume, Backpack.

Qué lindo.

I love my costume, Dora.

And I made a dinosaur costume for my backpack.

Wow, that's a really cool costume, Boots.

Now we're all ready for the parade.

Can we go, Dora?

Backpack is super excited

'cause this year she gets to lead the parade

with her backpack song.

Yeah, I've been practicing my song.

[Clears throat]

Backpa... achoo!

Woah!

We've gotta get all of Backpack's stuff.

Did we get everything, Backpack?

[Rattling]

Um, I think I'm missing my crayons.

Do you see the crayons?

Yeah, there they are.

That was a big sneeze.

Are you ok, Backpack?

I think so.

Are you gonna be able to sing your song?

Sí, sí.

The parade can't start without my song.

Backpack really wants to get to the parade.

Well, I know how to get to the parade.

First, you have to go over the hiccup bridge.

[hiccupping]

Then through the snoring forest.

And that's how you get to the parade.

[People cheering]

So you tell Dora...

First, you go to the bridge.

Bridge, right, the hiccup bridge.

[hiccupping]

So we need to find the bridge.

Come on, let's get Backpack to the parade.

We have to go across the bridge.

But the bridge's pieces keep getting all jumbled up.

The only way to get rid of my... hiccups

is if someone scares me... hiccup.

We can try to scare you.

I bet we have something to scare the bridge in my Backpack.

You have to say, "Backpack."

Oops.

Dora needs something she can use to scare the bridge.

Can a teddy bear scare the bridge?

No.

Can a feather scare the bridge?

Nope.

Can a mask scare the bridge?

Smart thinking.

Let's all scare the bridge to get rid of its hiccups.

When I count to three, say, "boo!"

Ready?

Boo!

Wow, that was really scary.

[Laughing]

Hey, it worked!

Thanks for helping me get rid of my hiccups.

But my pieces are all mixed up.

Don't worry, bridge, we can play a math game

to find the right shapes to fill in your pieces.

Right, a circle.

What shape goes here?

Correct, a square.

What shape goes here?

Right, a triangle.

What shape goes here?

Yeah, a rectangle.

Now what shape goes here?

Right, that's a pentagon.

Yay, we put the bridge back together again.

We made it past the hiccup bridge.

[music playing]

Where do we go next, Dora?

Bridge, forest, parade.

We made it over the bridge. Check.

Where do we go next?

Forest, right.

The snoring forest.

So we need to find the forest.

Do you see the snoring forest?

[snoring]

First call for all backpacks.

Dora, Dora, we've gotta hurry.

They're calling the backpacks, and I have to sing my song.

Don't worry, Backpack, we'll get there in no time.

Come on, let's get Backpack to the parade.

Ah... Tico's backpack was filled with nutty snacks for the parade

but they all fell out of the hole.

We've gotta help Tico find the nuts.

They rolled in front of that cave.

And who's coming out of the cave?

A bear.

Uh-oh, that bear is gonna eat Tico's nutty snacks.

We've gotta stop him, Dora.

Yeah, we've gotta tell him that they're Tico's.

We've gotta say, "son de Tico."

Great.

He doesn't hear us.

Louder.

i¡Son de Tico!

Ay, perdon.

We've gotta fix Tico's Backpack.

[sneezes]

What can we use to fix Tico's hole?

Sticky tape.

Yeah.

We made it to the snoring forest.

Yeah, those trees sure are sleeping.

And they're blocking the path.

We've gotta wake them up.

Good morning.

[Snoring]

How are we gonna wake up the trees, Dora?

[music playing]

Hey, that's my friend Luis, and he's playing the flute.

Maybe he can help us wake up the trees.

Luis, we need a loud flute to wake up the trees.

Can you help us?

Hmm... in Peru, we have flutes that make different bird sounds.

I might have a really loud one.

Let's listen to the flutes

to see which one can wake up the trees.

[cooing]

[whistling]

[quacking]

Which one wakes everyone up in the morning?

Right, the rooster.

We need your help to wake up the trees.

Let's all sound like roosters.

We woke up the snoring trees.

[Laughing]

Come on, let's get Backpack to the parade.

[swishing]

Hey, that sounds like Swiper the fox.

That sneaky fox is always trying to swipe our stuff.

If you see Swiper, yell, "Swiper."

You see Swiper?

Where?

Yeah, there he is.

He's gonna try to swipe my backpack.

We need your help to stop Swiper.

We have to say, "Swiper, no swiping."

I just wanted a backpack for the parade.

Aww, Swiper, I might have a backpack for you.

[sneezes]

I can go to the parade too.

Look, there's Benny.

What's his backpack's costume?

Right, an airplane.

There's Isa.

What's her backpack's costume?

Correcto,a butterfly.

And there's the big red chicken.

What's his backpack's costume?

Right, a robot.

It's time to start the parade.

Ooh, we have to get in line, Dora.

Backpack, are you ready to sing your song?

I think this is going to be the biggest sneeze of them all.

[sneezes]

[Laughter]

Hey, I don't feel like sneezing anymore.

Backpack, I think you were allergic to the confetti.

Yay, no more sneezes, no more sneezes.

Now I can start the parade with my song.

Yay!

Time to sing, time to sing.

It's time to start the parade.

Everyone march.

Stand up, please.

Stand up.

Stand up and get ready to march.

♪ With things and Knick-knacks too ♪

♪ Anything that you might need I've got inside for you ♪

Wow, all of the backpacks looked so cool.

We brought Backpack to the parade

so she could sing her song.

We had such an exciting trip today.

What was your favorite part of the trip?

I liked that too.

My favorite part was when we said, "boo"

to scare the hiccup bridge.

My favorite part was playing the rooster flute

to wake up the sleeping trees.

And my favorite part was singing at the parade.
