Guess what.

I just made up a brand-new game.

and I call it... Presto Change-Joe.

Do you want to play it?

I'm going to change something about me,

and you figure out what it is.

Ready?

Okay.

Now, take a good look at me.

And... Presto Change-Joe!

What's different about me?

The hat.

Yeah.

I'm wearing this silly hat.

Oh, let me put this away.

Are you ready to play again?

Okay.

[ barks "Presto Change-Joe"]

[ laughs]

I should go change back into my other shirt.

Okay, are you ready to look for Blue's Clues,

so we can figure out where we can go to play Blue's Game?

Excellent.

♪ We are looking for Blue's clues ♪

♪ Wonder where they are. ♪

A clue, a clue!

You see a clue?

Great!

Hey!

Maybe I can take giant steps to get to it.

So to get to the clue, should I giant-step forward or backwards?

Backward.

So, now which way should I giant-step to get to the clue?

That way.

There.

There's a clue on this picture of...

Some friends.

Friends must be our first clue.

We need our handy-dandy...

Notebook.

Notebook, right.

Let's draw three circles, for the heads,

a triangle for this body, a square for this body,

and a line that curves around for this one.

Add eyes and a mouth to each one...

lines for the arms and legs.

And we have friends.

So where could we go to play Blue's Game

with the clue "friends"?

Maybe.

Let's keep looking for clues to find out for sure.

PERIWINKLE: ♪ Yay, I'm riding in a taxi. ♪

Vroom, vroom.

Hey, periwinkle.

Guess what, Joe.

I just made up a game.

You made up a game, too?

That's great.

Yeah, it's a song game.

I call it the Taxi Game.

Ah, the Taxi Game.

Taxis are my favorite things in the city,

so I made up a game about them.

Do you want to play?

You'll play too, right?

Great.

Okay, first, when I sing the word "taxi,"

you pretend to drive, like this:

So when Periwinkle sings the word "taxi,"

we go...

Can you show me?

Here's something new to remember.

Now, when I sing the word "street"

you do this: Honk, honk.

Okay.

When we hear Periwinkle sing the word "street,"

we do this:

Honk, honk.

Let's start at the beginning.

♪ Down the city streets. ♪

What do we do now?

That's it.

Ready for the last part?

When I sing the word "people," you do this:

Ooh!

So, when Periwinkle sings the word "people,"

we do this:

Ooh!

From the beginning.

Hey, I have a idea for a game.

We roll the ball to each other,

but we have to name a different animal from everybody else.

Chipmunk.

Bluebird.

Swallowtail.

[ Blue barks]

It's me, Franny.

Want to come play my game?

[ barking]

Oh, this must be Franny's bedroom.

I made up a game about things in my room.

It's called Find and Pretend.

and makes milk?

The cow.

[ Blue barks "the cow?"]

and it definitely makes milk.

Now what do we do, Franny?

Now that you found the cow,

pretend to be a cow.

Let's pretend we're cows.

[ barks "moo"]

Come on.

Moo!

Moo... moo.

Moo.

[ all mooing]

[ giggling]

Yeah! Nice cow acting.

Now, can you find something

that's orange, round and bounces?

Well, which one of these is orange, round and bounces?

The basketball.

[ Blue barks "the basketball"]

The basketball.

It's orange and round and it can really bounce.

Now pretend to be a cow

and bounce like a basketball.

Ooh.

Come on, let's be cows

and bounce like basketballs.

Moo.

Moo!

Moo!

[ barking "moo"]

Follow me, bouncing cows.

Moo.

Moo.

Moo.

[ all mooing]

Now, can you find something

that's long, you look into

and it helps you see things far away?

Uh, which one of these is long, you look into it

and it helps you see things far away?

The telescope.

Yeah, the telescope.

It's long, and when you look into it

you can see things super far away.

Ready for the last part?

Can you pretend to be a cow...

Moo!

bounce like a basketball...

and look through a telescope--

all at the same time?

Whew.

Yeah.

[ all mooing]

[ chuckles]

Wow, great pretending.

You finished my Find and Pretend game.

Wow, thinking up a game

about all the things in your room

is an amazing idea, Franny.

Lines for the ladder, two handles,

and we have a slide.

We have all three clues to figure out where we can go

to play Blue's game!

We could just sit an hour...

Thinking chair.

Now that we're in our thinking chair, let's think.

Where can we go to play Blue's game with friends...

a ball...

and a slide?

Maybe Blue wants to go someplace with her friends...

where you can play with a ball

and slide down a slide.

Hey, isn't there a place out in the neighborhood

where friends can go to play with a ball

and slide down a slide?

What place is that?

The park.

The playground.

Yeah!

We can play Blue's game at the park.

The park has a playground where friends can go to play ball

and slide down a slide.

We just figured out Blue's Clues!

♪ We sat on down ♪

♪ Figured it out ♪

♪ What Blue's Clues were all about. ♪

Wow, you know what?

♪ We're really smart. ♪

[ song ends]

[ barks]

To the playground.

[ barks]

♪ We are going to the playground ♪

♪ To play the game Blue made up. ♪

[ barking]

Okay, Blue, how do we play?

[ barks in reply]

Ah, let's watch.

[ barking]

Periwinkle.

Yay!

Yippee!

I see.

When you pick up the ball, you say your name.

It's the "Ball and Name Game."

Maybe later, we can play my taxi game again.

Sounds good, Periwinkle.

Franny!

Yay!

You did it!

Look, Joe, I'm bouncing like a ball again.

[ barks]

Ooh.

It's my turn.

What do I say when I pick up the ball?
