Hi.

I'm so glad you're here.

We are really going to need your help today, because...

we're making...

an alphabet train.

[ barks "alphabet train"]

So, we'll start with the engine

and make a train of boxes,

with a box for every letter of the alphabet.

What's the first letter of the alphabet?

A.

The letter A.

And there it is-- the letter A box.

Let's add it to the train.

[ barks]

Hey, look what Blue found--

an airplane.

That's perfect for the letter A box,

because "airplane" begins with the letter A.

[ barking]

What letter comes after A?

B.

The letter B.

[ barking]

Of course!

[ barks excitedly]

Blue can go in the letter B box,

because the name "Blue" starts with B.

Our train is getting bigger.

I have some things we can put in these boxes.

That is great, Tickety.

Hmm, so, which of these

do you think starts with the letter C?

The crayon.

"Crayon," yeah.

"Crayon" starts with the same letter that's on this box-- C.

So, which of these

do you think belongs in letter D box?

The drum.

[ beats drum]

"Drum," yeah-- D.

Wow, you really know the alphabet.

And this eagle starts

with the letter E.

Ooh, excellent.

[ barking]

Wow!

A box for every letter of the alphabet.

[ barking]

Hey, Blue, what do you want to put

in the last alphabet box?

[ barking]

We'll play "Blue's Clues" to figure it out.

♪ We are gonna play Blue's Clues ♪

♪ 'Cause it's a really great game, yeah! ♪

So remember, Blue's paw print will be on the clues--

You know what we need to play Blue's Clues--

♪ And that's our first... ♪ Clue!

♪ That's the third clue. ♪

Good idea, but let's find the other clues

and see if we're right.

Hi.

I'm looking for things that start with G, H and I,

the next letters of the alphabet.

Let's go.

Which one starts

with the letter G?

"Globe,"

"pumpkin,"

"ice cream,"

"mittens,"

or "hat"?

"Globe."

"Globe" starts with the letter G.

Great going.

and mittens for the M box.

Which box goes where?

Well, let's see.

No!

No?

Well, how does it go?

Hah! You figured out the order.

Look what I found for the N box--

Right there.

Aha!

You found a clue on this... black.

"Black" must be our second clue.

You know what we need--

our handy-dandy...

Hey, let's use our black crayon.

We can scribble back and forth.

So what could Blue want to put in the last alphabet box

with white...

and black?

Good idea, but let's find our last clue

and see if we're right.

♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

Let's draw a line that zigzags back and forth like this.

We have all three clues to figure out

what Blue wants to put in the last alphabet box.

We're ready to sit in our...

Now that we're in our thinking chair, let's think.

So, what could Blue want to put in the last alphabet box

with white...

and the letter Z?

Well, maybe it's something that's white and black.

But what about the letter Z?

Maybe it's something that starts with the letter Z.

Yeah, but what's white and black and starts with the letter Z?

A zebra.

A zebra.

Zebras have white and black stripes,

and the word "zebra" starts with the letter Z.

We just figured out Blue's Clues.
