He's very special to me.

We've been together since we were both very young.

Yes, I remember when I first met Don Quixote.

♪ In the barn ♪

♪ I'd never amount to much, my friends agreed ♪

♪ ♪

♪ But then one day, a knight named Don Quixote ♪

♪ Came along and said to me ♪

♪ "Now you shall be my steed" ♪

♪ Since then I've gone on great adventures ♪

♪ With my knight so strong and tall ♪

♪ He likes me as I am ♪

♪ Though as you see, I'm thin and small ♪

♪ But when our day of noble work is done ♪

♪ And evening starts to fall ♪

♪ Then he reads to me ♪

♪ Yes, he reads to me ♪

♪ Ah, he reads to me ♪

♪ ♪

I love the stories Don Quixote reads to me.

- We love stories, too, right, guys?

- Right! - Sí, sí.

and we need to rescue him.

Ooh, today I'm Sir Map.

We're on a noble mission to save Don Quixote,

and I know how to find him.

He's in the Story Castle.

I know how to get to the Story Castle.

First, we have to go down into the secret cave.

Then go past the windmills...

into the Noble Forest.

And that's how you get to the Story Castle.

So remember, "cave," "windmills,"

- Boots? Boots?

Uh-oh, we lost Boots.

Do you see Boots?

Yeah, there he is!

He's in the haystack.

- What was that for?

- Only a knight can ride the horse of a knight.

- Well, you could have just told me.

I'm afraid you can't ride along.

- But Boots has to come.

Ooh, do you see something that Boots can ride?

Excuse me, my name's Dora,

and this is Boots and Rocinante.

We're rescuing Don Quixote the Knight.

get down into the cave.

- Now we'll just back down carefully.

- What's happening, Dora?

- I don't know, Boots,

but I think those windmills are coming to life.

- Malambruno put a spellon them

to come and take our books.

- What do we do, Dora?

- Maybe we can learn something about windmills

that will help us stop them.

- To find out about windmills,

all you need is look.

[cursor clicks and beeps]

[whimsical harp flourish]

There are lots of different kinds of windmills,

but they all spin in the wind.

- We need to blow.

I think if we blow hard enough,

the windmills will leave us alone

and go back to just spinning.

It's what they love best.

- Well, we better blow fast then, because here they come.

- You have to blow at the windmills with us.

[all blowing]

- Whee!

- It's working. Otra vez.

- [giggles]

[laughs]

- Never have I seen a lock on this gate before.

The Noble Forest should be free for all to enter.

- I bet Malambruno locked the gate.

- It was Malambruno, lady knight.

You are smart.

Now, if you know your math, you can get this gate apart.

You must add and subtract numbers,

and then you'll open me.

A number line can help you. Yes, that can be your key.

- A number line?

- Yeah, Boots.

A number line can help us add and subtract numbers.

- And then we'll be able to open the gate

to the Noble Forest?

- That's what the lock said.

- I bet Rocinante has a book with a number line.

or move backward on the number line.

Now the gate can open.

And into the forest. Check.

♪ You think you've fooled me ♪

when Malambruno took our books away,

for some things we need to write a book.

and Malambruno woke them up.

And what did we do to get past them?

Then we got to the Noble Forest,

- And then Malambruno came and took all our books...

And the Noble Forest disappeared.

And then we remembered and told our story

of our adventure today,and...

- We did, didn't we?

- Yep. Muy bien.

You're really good at writing stories.

- !¡Fantástico! - Whoo-hoo!

- Yay!

- And is the forest back?

the bedroom, the bathroom,

the kitchen, or the library?

[cursor clicks and beeps]

both: The library!

[dazzling music]

- Don Quixote?

- You're almost there.

The one you seek is trying not to hide.

Find the book named after him

and take a look inside.

- Ooh, Dora!

I bet he's inside one of these books.

- I think you're right, Mr. Riddles.

- [giggles]

- Let's see if we can find him.

Do you see the book about Don Quixote?

[cursor clicks and beeps]
