Minds: Evolution"

LEWIS: Looks like there's been an

active k*ller up here for decades.

Some of the lab techs are starting

to call this UnSub "Sicarius."

ALVEZ: We thought these

k*ll kits were connected

the shipping container, Rory

Gilcrest, our spinal cord guy.

Now we have our smoking g*n.

PRENTISS: The UnSub gathered

followers that he's now activating.

This is a network.

ROSSI: Tyler Green is our only lead

on the most elusive k*ller in 15 years.

REBECCA: If this UnSub has some

form of IED, he's going to use it.

JENNIFER: He's heading into the park.

Rossi, if you don't pull your

agents away from that target,

I will relieve you from

your role as BAU team leader.

I never wanted it in the first place.

[GRUNTS]

Get off of me!

BAILEY: You need to

find a new team leader.

- I found someone.

- Who?

Me.

Why would a serial k*ller

be carrying a fake b*mb?

That's your sister. She

went missing 15 years ago.

You didn't join that

network. You infiltrated it.

- To find Sicarius.

- You people

ruined

everything.

- How you doing, Hal?

- Come on, Voit. Where's your school spirit?

[GRUNTS]

You look a lot like my next door

neighbor, Hal, who's an assh*le.

I'm not Hal.

- [DOG BARKS]

- You are tonight.

[MAN SCREAMING, FLESH TEARING]

[GRUNTING]

[BLOOD SLOSHING]

[BARKING]

MAN: That neighbor of yours

is one lucky son-of-a-bitch.

You know why?

Yes.

Need I remind you

I know my own rules.

Your rules?

My rules.

Don't you ever forget that.

How can I?

[GROWLS]

[BARKING]

[PANTING]

[DOG WHINES]

So, 24 hours ago, Tyler Green

looked like one of our so-called

Sicarius' devoted acolytes,

but now it just looks

like a misguided vigilante.

What do we know about his dead sister?

Well, according to DC Metro Police,

Green's sister, Alison,

was reported missing

back in the fall of 2007.

She was 23 years old.

She had a 2-year-old

son, and she was last seen

leaving her apartment

with her new boyfriend.

His name was either Louis or Lee.

Neither was ever seen again.

So, we haven't identified her

as one of the shipping

container victims?

No. No, we haven't.

And as far as the DC

police are concerned,

Alison Green remains a missing person.

But Green is certain

Sicarius k*lled her.

Yeah, but maybe because

Sicarius told him he k*lled her.

I mean, Green's drone spotting

was for army intelligence,

and their psy-ops training

would've certain given him the skill set

he needed to infiltrate that network.

To gain Sicarius' trust and

get him to share his history,

- his secrets

- His k*ll kits.

And now, we need Green to share

everything he knows with us.

Except that our profile of Green says

that his "defiance of authority,"

which is what got him

kicked out of the m*llitary,

means that he'd rather

do time than talk to us.

True. [SIGHS]

- But

- But what?

There is someone who might

be able to get him to open up.

You sure don't look like a cop.

I'm Penelope Garcia, and you

know me as "HelperCat220."

- Get out.

- [EXHALES SHARPLY]

You sought me out.

You wanted to talk. Here we are.

I still can't believe you

handed over that encryption

I gave you to the FBI.

Yeah, uh, I work for the FBI.

Um, tell me about your sister.

- Her name's Alison.

- Don't.

Don't what?

You wanted to talk to me.

- I'm on your side.

- [SIGHS]

Look, Tyler, do you actually think

that you're gonna get out of here

and get another sh*t

at that Sicarius guy?

'Cause it is not gonna happen.

And the only way you

might not spend the next,

I don't know, 25 to

life in a federal prison,

is if you start sharing

what you know about him.

So

All righty then.

Good talk.

[SIGHS]

I told you. I can't even blame him.

He can feel the grudge I

feel radiating off my body.

[EXHALES SHARPLY]

You know, the one

benefit of the lockdown

I have perfected the

LaMontagne frittata.

Oh, so my mom wants to know

if she can take the boys

to Six Flags this afternoon.

Well, you know what that means.

They're probably gonna have

to stay there one more night.

You know, I can't

tell you how happy I am

that my mom decided to move closer.

It's not exactly how

you felt when she

I was wrong.

- I'm so sorry, what?

- What was that?

You heard me, LaMontagne.

You wanna take a picture of

it so you can cherish it later?

[CHUCKLES]

Mmm.

Okay, yeah, no, that

that's perfection.

If I learn a couple more dishes,

I'm gonna hang up the badge

and open up a restaurant.

With a lot of outdoor seating.

Yes, of course. Safety first.

This This is perfect.

It is.

Honestly, I was

I was a little worried

that maybe we'd lost this,

and it was my fault.

It takes two to tango,

and whatever problems we have,

we'll work them out together.

Mm.

Listen, there's, uh

there's no boys here.

- Yeah?

- Yeah.

And, uh, the frittata can wait.

[CHUCKLES]

[KNOCKING]

Are you expecting someone?

No.

Good morning, Mrs. LaMontagne.

Jareau.

- Excuse me?

- My last name's Jareau.

Oh. Sorry. Apologies.

Um, give me one second.

I'll get your stuff together.

Oh, yes. That's

correct. Jennifer Jareau.

And your husband is

William LaMontagne, Jr.

- Correct?

- May I help you?

Oh, I'm Howard Olsen

with Waubaugh Financial.

We scheduled an appointment.

Oh, oh. Oh, I'm so sorry.

It's It's our

updated insurance policy.

That's correct, but did I

catch you two at a bad time?

We can reschedule.

No. We're We're all good.

Uh, let's get this over with.

PRENTISS: I'd like to think

you spending the night here

instead of a hotel is progress.

Would you believe me if I told you

that I didn't mean to fall asleep here?

I believe you. But will Mom?

[CHUCKLES]

I heard what happened with Bailey.

Let me worry about him.

You took a b*llet for me.

You have enough on your

plate as Section Chief

without having to look over my shoulder.

Would you believe me if I told you

that I'm only doing it

to get my old office back?

Really, you should check it out.

It's got a treadmill and everything.

- I will learn to play well with others.

- Don't you dare.

Anyway, forensics came back

on the incendiaries from the k*ll kit.

There are no prints, no DNA,

but the pH in a soil deposit

says the foot locker was

buried for roughly five years.

Hmm, another "paintbrush."

But what about, um

The CCTV footage that Green hacked into.

It revealed there were no other

persons of interest in the area

at the time of his arrest,

which doesn't mean he wasn't there.

He might have figured out

how to avoid the cameras.

It still doesn't make sense to me.

What if he deliberately set up

Green to be taken down by the cops?

Are you sure that's not

the melatonin talking?

Oh, no, that's very cute.

But But think about it.

This UnSub has been

selecting both his victims

and his followers with the

precision of a profiler.

So, you don't think he's the kind of guy

to get set up by Green to

walk right into an ambush?

No, I don't.

This UnSub has figured out

that Green was a mole inside

of his serial k*ller network

and this was his way of rooting him out.

That's brilliant speculation.

But Green still refuses to talk.

Yes, I thought he would

talk to Garcia, but no.

We've found all of the k*ll kits

except for these two.

One outside Indio, California.

The other one near near

Rockville, Maryland.

And when I look at these two damn dots,

all I see are lives that we

might not be able to save.

[GASPS, CHUCKLES]

Oh, come on now.

We made it!

Yes.

Vacation two years in the making, baby.

COVID surges be damned.

- This room is worth every penny.

- It is, right?

Hey, I'm just glad they

held onto our deposit

from September of 2020.

[SIGHS] Hey, Tish.

Come on, you're not

gonna be on the phone

- this whole entire trip, are you?

- No, I am not.

Sorry, I forgot to silence

my work notifications.

- Mm-hmm.

- But watch this.

My phone is now off.

[LAUGHS]

- I love you, baby.

- I love you, too.

[CELLPHONE CHIMES]

Is that your girlfriend?

[CHUCKLES]

That is one of our

motion-activated cameras

back at home that wants to alert us

to a damn possum at our back door.

Again. Don't worry about it.

[CELLPHONE CHIMES]

Sorry, baby. Let me

just check this sh*t.

- What is it, babe?

- Babe.

Mr. and Mrs. Crawford.

Good evening.

And welcome to tonight's show.

Come on. You're gonna like this.

- Are they in our house?

- That's in our house.

[GRUNTING]

MAN: 9-1-1. What's the emergency?

Two men have broken into our home.

What's the address?

4337 Piperwood Lane. 20874.

Ma'am, the address is not in

the Miami Metropolitan area.

What? We're on vaca

Can you connect me to the

Montgomery County Police?

And now, what you've

all been waiting for.

The big finish!

[LAUGHS]

[GASPS]

Aah!

Good morning, Penelope.

Thank for entering my cleansed lair.

Can I ask you something?

If you're gonna ask me to

look after your cat again,

I am gonna have to get

an allergy prescription from the doctor.

No. But on behalf of Sergio

and all senior cats everywhere,

we appreciate you

putting your immune system

on the line like that for him.

I've been spelunking

into Tyler Green's past,

and not only is he dealing with

the trauma of losing his sister,

but he was the last

person to see her alive,

and according to his police interviews,

those last moments are hazy.

What, you think he

may have seen Sicarius?

Maybe. And even if he hasn't,

if we give an opportunity

to remember those memories,

he might be more apt

to cooperate with us.

What do you think?

I think it's a great idea.

And the rumor is you're

difficult to work with.

Oh, wait. I started that rumor.

[CHIMING]

Hey, we got a case.

Let's pitch Emily after we brief.

Uh, no, you will pitch Emily.

Oh, no, I will not.

- Yes.

- This was your idea.

Yes, it was, but I brought it to you.

PRENTISS: Last night,

there was a home invasion

in Germantown, Maryland.

Kevin Warren, a response

office for Alpheus Security,

was m*rder*d in front of the homeowners,

Leticia and David Crawford.

Here's the twist

the Crawfords weren't home at the time.

They were on vacation in Miami.

So, they got an alert

and watched it go down

on their security app.

Actually, Alpheus would

have to get the alert

even before the Crawfords,

in order for them to send a guard out.

Which means these guys

have the technical skills

- to take control of the whole system.

- ROSSI: Or they had help.

One of our missing k*ll kits is

located in Rockville, Maryland,

which is roughly 10

miles from Germantown.

Well, a link to Sicarius could

explain the mixed motivations

that we're seeing here, right?

The The psychological sadism

directed at the home owners

couples with the physical sadism

inflicted on the security guard.

Well, only one of them speaks.

He's the same one who

executes the guard.

He's clearly the dominant of the pair.

Obviously done something

to obscure their faces here,

but this kind of brutal exhibitionism

definitely indicates

younger male assailants.

It does. So, Emily, if you prefer to

No, I'm good. I will leave it

to you to divide and conquer.

Okay.

- Go talk to her.

- Right. Now's the time.

- Come on. Let's go.

- No, I'm not.

You need to go and talk to her.

You should tell her.

- It's all right.

- No, no.

- It was your idea.

- It's your thing.

It's kind of in your house of wheels.

Guys, what the hell is happening?

Garcia has a great idea

about how we could get

Tyler Green maybe to cooperate with us.

What's that?

Give him his memories back.

Um, I don't understand. What memories?

Green was the last

person to see his sister

before she disappeared,

and he's got a lot of guilt

about not being able to

remember those moments.

So, Garcia thought that if we

give him a cognitive interview,

we could help him recover those memories

and maybe we earn his trust.

And then he starts sharing with us.

Maybe he saw Sicarius back in the day.

It's an excellent idea, Penelope. Okay.

Luke, you and I should focus

on conductive the cognitive.

But after your first go around with him,

are you sure you can

convince him to sit for it?

I don't "Yes" is the answer.

Okay, I don't I'm

being honest. I don't know.

So, I know we didn't exactly

have a meeting of the minds

- at our last encounter

- [SCOFFS]

but I wanted you to

know that our forensic people

did not find your sister's

DNA in that shipping container.

They didn't?

Which is good news, in a way.

- Good news?

- Yeah.

I mean, according to Buddhist teaching,

hope is still suffering,

but I'm holding onto

hope because it's

what we've got that she

could be out there somewhere.

- At least, that's how I choose to

- My sister's dead.

Look, I read your police interview,

and I know that you don't

remember what happened

the night Alison went missing.

I know that all the important

details are, like, in this fog.

[EXHALES SHARPLY]

What if I could lift that fog?

Not me, per se, but

someone from my team?

What do you say?

Uh, it's it's called

a cognitive interview.

It's kind of like a guided

I know what a cognitive interview is.

Of course you do, because

you know everything.

You You Yeah.

Okay. I don't like you.

I also have a lot of compassion

for what you're going through,

and I have respect for your

computer literacy, but

I wasn't even working

for the FBI anymore.

Do you know that? I was

out. You pulled me back in.

You sent me that encryption

and you cornered me into helping you,

and now you're pissed at where I work

and you're pissed at

the help I'm offering,

and this whole lone wolf,

"I'm-a catch a serial

k*ller on my own" bullshit

is so tiresome, and honestly,

if you just want to stay

here and rot, do it, man.

That's on you. I'm no

longer in the business of

of saving people who

don't want to be saved.

But I know this my friends

are very good at what they do.

So, if you decide to pull

your head out of your ass

and do this cognitive interview,

it's gonna be a win-win,

because I never have to see

your grumpy little face again,

and I promise you

I promise, all of those

details you're searching for,

you'll get those answers,

and the shame and the guilt

you feel about not being able

to remember what happened that night

I know from personal

experience, it will lift.

That's the first honest

thing you've said to me.

All right.

All right what?

I'll do it.

[EXHALES SHAKILY]

[CELLPHONE RINGING, VIBRATING]

Hey there.

How's it going?

Better now.

Wait, is everything okay?

Yeah. [CHUCKLES]

If me calling you

unexpectedly means your, uh,

your knee-jerk reaction

is something's wrong,

then we need to, uh we

need to stay in touch more.

Yeah. Yeah, we really do.

How's the case going?

Uh, we're just getting

started, but it's as horrible

as you would think a home

invasion m*rder would be.

Yeah, I get it.

But it has it has got me thinking

About what?

'Cause of you, I feel safe in my home.

I appreciate you saying that.

But seriously, I mean, if one of us

is like the protector

of the house, it's you.

I mean, need I remind you,

it's one of the reasons

I proposed to you.

Okay, fair enough. [CHUCKLES]

So, can we just say that we

we have each other's backs, always?

Yeah.

Anyway, I better let you go.

I love you.

I love you, too.

I'll call you later, all right?

[BIRDS CHIRPING]

[COMPUTER BEEPING]

You're seeing everything

I'm seeing, right?

I am.

Which way from here?

West side of the house.

Once you're in position

over there, I want you to

hide that router as close to

that perimeter wall as you can.

[DEVICE BEEPS]

Done.

All right, I'm at the door.

[LOCK DISENGAGES]

How's it look?

Cool.

It's got a safe room

hidden behind a fake closet.

[SCOFFS]

Just like in the movies.

Perfect.

[KEYBOARD CLACKING]

[SIGHS]

Hmm.

Ooh.

We might just have one problem. Yeah.

Mr. and Mrs. Murray have

canceled their flight.

They're not leaving town.

Oh, that's not a problem at all.

That'll be part of the fun.

Tyler

I want you to picture

your sister's face

and I want to go back

to the last time you saw her.

- Tyler! Tyler! Tyler!

- [GASPS]

[BREATHING SHAKILY]

How does the air feel on your skin?

It's muggy.

The air conditioner in

Alison's apartment was busted.

What does the air in

Alison's apartment smell like?

Diapers.

Dirty diapers.

Alison had called me to babysit.

Babysit your nephew, Blake?

Yeah.

She had a new boyfriend and

they were gonna go out on a date.

ALISON: Tyler?

Tyler, please promise me

you'll stay off that stupid computer.

Pay attention to the

baby while I'm gone.

You told police that you

didn't end up babysitting.

Why?

Because Alison got into a

fight with her boyfriend.

- What was the fight about?

- Me.

BOYFRIEND: What's he doing here?

ALISON: He's my brother

and he's babysitting.

Next time, you tell me if your

brother is going to be here.

Or your mother or whoever-the-f*ck-else

you feel the need to

have hang out here, okay?

All right. What's wrong with you?

Was her boyfriend's name Louis or

Lee.

It was Lee.

What did Lee look like?

I'm sorry. Please wait in the car.

Hey, Tyler, I I gotta go.

But can you do me a huge favor?

I really want you to have

dinner with me and Lee

down at Delilah's tonight,

so call Mom and have her come

over and take care of the baby.

I told her I didn't

want to be a third wheel.

She got real emotional.

She told me she really needed

me to be with her that night.

Did you end up going to the diner?

I called my mom to come over

and take care of the baby,

but when she got there, I I

I didn't go meet up with Alison.

No.

I decided to hang with

some friends instead.

Later that night, I

got a call from Alison.

She must have called by accident,

because when I picked up

Hello?

she didn't say anything.

Not a word.

That was the last time I had

any contact with my sister.

Nobody could find Lee.

Two days later, my mom filed

a missing persons report.

- [INHALES SHAKILY]

- Hey. You're okay.

How are you feeling?

He was right there.

But I couldn't see him.

I couldn't see his face.

- Her boyfriend, Lee?

- Yes.

He's the one you're looking for.

- He's Sicarius?

- g*dd*mn it.

We were there together.

Tyler. Take it easy.

Gah! You don't understand!

I've been hunting

this bastard for years.

And then during the pandemic,

I stumbled upon his network,

and I figured out how to play his game,

how to speak his

language, and pretty soon,

I'm talking directly to the guy.

And he loves sharing his "w*r stories."

Bragging about his "experiments."

One of which is this girl from DC.

He tells me her name.

Alison.

And then he tells me,

"I wonder how badly her brother

managed to f*ck up her kid."

[SOBBING]

If you can tell us everything

that you two talked about

Stop! Stop.

She promised me that

this would make it better,

but this is so much worse.

Tyler

No.

Lock me up.

Throw away the key.

[SIGHS]

[CRICKETS CHIRPING]

[VEHICLE APPROACHES]

CALVIN RAY: Base. Ray

and Holland on scene.

4136 Crest Lane.

Owner's name Murray. Over.

T-MAC DISPATCHER: Do you

require police assistant?

- Over.

- Negative.

We will conduct a perimeter

inspection and report back.

- Over.

- Copy that.

I get it. Everybody's on edge.

But when I think about

the shitholes I walked into

when I was working

Vice, this is a cakewalk.

I hear you.

[DOG BARKING IN DISTANCE]

Calvin, west perimeter clear.

Over.

Calvin?

Do you copy? Over.

Don't you f*cking move.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Ease up, my man.

Shut the f*ck up and drop your w*apon.

[g*n COCKS]

Now we've got ourselves a situation.

If you don't drop your

g*n in like five seconds,

I'm gonna sh**t your buddy here.

And I get it, then you're

gonna take your sh*t,

but then my buddy behind

you is gonna take his sh*t.

So then, my team wins.

Come on, man.

Just let it go.

Maybe we can all win.

[GRUNTS]

[MEN GROANING]

Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Murray.

We would like to welcome you both

to tonight's special live performance.

Don't you feel safe?

[MEN BREATHING RAPIDLY, WHIMPERING]

[SCREAMING]

- Penelope.

- Yeah, sir?

JJ and Tara are on their

way to a house right now.

- They're gonna need your help.

- Okay.

If I have this address, I

can be their virtual backup.

[TIRES SCREECH]

JENNIFER: The Murrays

were out to dinner.

SWAT got here three minutes

after their call to 9-1-1.

Either these guys underestimate

a SWAT response time

or they are getting really cocky.

- MAN: R1 set.

- Ready to breach.

MAN #2: Clear.

We've made entry.

Living room clear.

We've got a blood trail.

YOUNG MAN: Yo, did you hear that?

Someone's coming.

YOUNG MAN #2: Keep them quiet.

Shh.

Get ready.

Suspects have barricades

themselves inside a safe room.

You can open the door

to that safe room, right?

I sure can.

JJ, get ready.

Now.

YOUNG MAN: Yo, did you hear that?

Someone's coming.

Keep them quiet. Shh.

Get ready.

g*dd*mn it.

- JJ, status?

- Two dead.

Suspects are on the run.

Keep them quiet. Get ready.

Going over the

victimologies of the guards,

as awful as their murders are,

they're simply victims of opportunity.

Yeah. I think so.

This pair of UnSubs is just set

to k*ll whoever's showing up.

LEWIS: You know, with that first video,

I wasn't sure how they were doing it,

but now, I think I know how

they're keeping their faces

all dark and blown out like that.

It's this Cubist-inspired makeup

technique called "CV Dazzle."

Apparently, the pattern of application

has a way of confusing the camera lens.

Makeup. Huh.

Just another little something

that might've fit

neatly into a k*ll kit?

Along with that Wi-Fi

device we recovered

that helped these guys hack into

the Murrays' security system.

Our Sicarius definitely

likes to help those

who help themselves.

You know, another

thing that strikes me is

just how close their pattern of action

is to their first home invasion.

I mean, it's almost like

a rehearsed choreography.

It is. A ritualized performance.

As if these two are

reenacting a past trauma.

A shared trauma.

That's it.

I think we're ready

to deliver the profile.

ROSSI: Our Unknown

Subjects are both male

between the ages of 18 and 35.

One or both have been

trained in computer science.

We believe that they're

related, most likely brothers

with a shared profound personal trauma,

a trauma not unlike the att*cks

they're currently carrying out.

JENNIFER: These brothers are,

without doubt, mission-oriented,

with a bent toward avenging

a personal injustice.

And yet, they are choosing

to punish these home owners

as surrogates for the real

target of their revenge.

That means that they

are not only working up

the means to this revenge,

but they are building up

the courage to carry it out.

And based on the timing and method

used to escape the Murrays' home,

these UnSubs are most likely local.

Now, there is one real wild card

in everything we've profiled

about these brothers.

They may be receiving help.

TRACK-SUITED FIGURE #1: All

right. I'm in the system.

Check this out.

Let's go.

No, wait, hold up.

- Why? What's wrong?

- You sure?

Sure about what?

There's no going back.

[SIGHS]

Yes. Hey, look at me.

I can't do this without you.

Okay.

As you probably know by now,

we are pursuing the leader

of a network of serial K*llers,

and we believe he may be aiding

and abetting these murders.

Unfortunately, we're still

a little bit in the dark

as to the profile of

this so-called "Sicarius."

However, we are hopeful that his

material support of the brothers

won't obscure the

behaviors that could reveal

who they are really are.

Thank you, and good luck.

[LOCK DISENGAGES]

[TABLET BEEPS]

Sleeping beauty.

Time to wake her up.

LEWIS: Oh, Dave.

Montgomery County Police

just sent us a cold case file.

A home invasion out of

Redland, Maryland, from 2012.

Okay, so the owner's

name was Cameron Bruneau.

Security consultant.

Even though he was protecting his home

with state-of-the-art equipment,

a pair of drug-addicted

transients broke in.

Cameron takes his younger son, Jude,

and locks them both in the safe room,

but these invaders are

desperate for money.

They hold a Kn*fe on his wife,

Jaylee, and his older son, Gael,

and they're threatening

to slit their throats

if he doesn't open up the safe room

and give them all the

money in his vault.

He refused.

And they slashed his wife's throat,

right in front of 12-year-old Gael.

This guy still refuses

to open up the safe room,

even though they've

got a Kn*fe on his kid.

Eventually, the men spare

the boy, they run off.

Montgomery County Police has

never been able to track them down.

Gael and Jude Bruneau.

It might certainly be hard for them

to forgive their father

for their mother's death.

Do we have any addresses?

Uh, let me check,

see if I can get something

off their driver's licenses.

They both live in Baltimore.

Let's see where their dad is.

Montgomery Village.

I mean, that's ground

zero for these murders.

We need to get Cameron Bruneau

into protective custody,

and we need to get APBs

out on his boys right now.

Yeah.

[CELLPHONE CHIMES]

- [WOMAN SOBBING]

- Good morning, Pops.

Danielle? Gael? Jude?

Welcome to the show. Cameron?!

Cameron, please help me!

I need help! Call 9-1-1.

Cameron, help me, please!

- [GASPING]

- Hey. Hey.

It's

f*ck you!

JUDE: Hey, don't talk to him like that!

Do you hear me? Don't

talk to him like that!

Got it?

Feisty.

Jude and I were just saying how

we never really got the chance

to get to know Danielle here,

and, well, since she's

gonna be our new stepmom,

we thought we might take this time

to do something special for you two.

Huh?

So, this show is dedicated to our mom.

[WHIMPERING] Please

don't. Please let me go.

You You don't want to do this.

Oh, no, no. We really do.

We really, really do.

[SOBBING]

[DANIELLE SOBBING]

Mr. Bruneau, I'm SSA David Rossi.

- My sons, they're gonna k*ll her.

- We have agents on site.

We're gonna save your fiancée.

But I need you to stay

online with your boys.

- I can't watch this.

- I understand.

Let me take your phone.

GAEL: It's not your fault.

[WHIMPERING]

Do it.

Our dad did this to you.

Penelope?

- You got it.

- [MOUSE CLICKS]

[DANIELLE SOBBING]

Hey. What the f*ck?

I think it was a power surge.

FBI. Freeze. Drop the Kn*fe.

[g*nshots FIRE]

No! No!

Jude.

Jude, it's over.

Put the Kn*fe down.

No, no, no, no.

You don't want to do that.

- Shut up.

- Go.

Jude, listen to me.

You don't have to end

up like your brother.

[GROANS] No!

[SOBBING]

[PAPERS FLOP LOUDLY]

Help me understand, um, this Sicarius.

What is this sh*t?

You tell me.

I don't know.

Jude, this is your

"Come to Jesus" moment.

I've got a whole bunch of tech people

taking apart your brother's computers.

If there is something to find,

I swear to you, they will find it.

What do you want, man?

I-I totally confessed already.

Me and my brother, we

k*lled the rent-a-cops.

What more do you want me to say?

Did your brother ever discuss

your plans with anyone else?

No. Why would we do that?

We didn't want to get caught.

We just

wanted Dad to know what we'd done,

and then Gael and I,

we were gonna cross

the border to Mexico.

You wanna know what else?

I only wish I had the balls to

slice the bitch's throat myself.

For my brother.

You didn't find a k*ll kit.

How'd you know?

Because the kid had no idea

what the hell I was talking about.

No. No k*ll kit.

Nothing on Gael's computer

linking him to Sicarius.

I never thought that

stopping a pair of psychopaths

could feel like a loss.

Yeah.

Feels as if we've circled back

to the beginning and got nothing.

And these missing k*ll kits

look more like time bombs

waiting to go off.

We still have Tyler Green.

Your lips to God's ears.

ROSSI: "Beware the

fury of a patient man."

John Dryden.

ALVEZ: You've had a

change of heart, Tyler?

I want this man dead so bad.

But I can't keep failing my sister.

You want revenge,

and we can only promise you justice.

She deserves justice.

Yes.

Yes, she does.

[INHALES SHARPLY]

I figured out how to preserve

my communications with him.

So, I can give you the server.

Just one other thing.

Leave Penelope Garcia out of this.

I'll talk to you. I'll talk to

anyone else you got around here.

Not her.

Okay?

- Hey.

- Hey.

[SIGHS] Can I get you a drink?

Um, no.

Thank you.

Ahh.

Everything okay?

Well, where to begin?

You remember that Howard Olsen,

that guy with the, um, the

in the insurance agent?

- Oh, God. Yes.

- Yeah. [CHUCKLES]

Yes, I do remember.

Yeah.

Well, he was doing some

underwriting and stuff,

and I go in for a physical

and they drew blood,

and my platelet count was, like,

over 400, whatever that means.

Well, it means they do another test.

The doctor called it an LDH test.

And normal results are, uh

under 40 units.

What was yours?

It was higher than that.

Okay, um

so what does what does that mean?

It means the doctors want

to run a bunch more tests.

All sorts of letters.

ALT, AST, ALP.

And I just kept hearing my mama say,

"You should've been a doctor, William."

Will.

I'm sorry.

It could be cancer.

Yeah.
