There's a point where it tips There's a point where it breaks

There's a point where it bends and the point we just can't take anymore

There's a line that we’ll cross And there’s no return

There's a time and a place No bridges left to burn

Anymore!

We can’t just wait with lives at stake

Until they think we’re ready

Our enemies are gathering

The storm is growing deadly

Now it's time to say goodbye

To the things we loved

And the innocence of youth

How the time seemed to fly

From our carefree lives

And the solitude and peace we always knew

Glynda: Trouble sleeping?

Other characters: Arm is acting up.

Glynda: Ah! Of course, so logically you got out of bed, dressed yourself completely,

Glynda: And decided to gaze menacingly out into the distance.

Glynda: What's wrong?

Other characters: I've trusted him for years. We both have.

Other characters: I just...

Other characters: I... can't help but feel...

Other characters: ...like he's keeping us in the dark.

Glynda: Don't be ridiculous.

Glynda: You know very well that we are not the ones in the dark.

Other characters: [Laughing] That makes it worse!

Other characters: I refuse to believe that a man that I've trusted for so long...

Other characters: ...would act so...

Other characters: ...passively.

Glynda: You're a good person, James.

Glynda: You've always done...

Glynda: ...what you think is best for the people.

Glynda: Even against strong protest.

Glynda: It's admirable.

Glynda: But it's high time you stopped talking about trust...

Glynda: And started showing it.

Glynda: Ozpin has experience that the rest of us lack.

Glynda: And I think that's something worth remembering.

[Sighs]

Yang: Blake.

Yang: Are you awake?

Blake: Yeah.

Yang: Why do you think he asked us about being a Huntress?

Yang: Like...

Yang: What was he trying to say?

Blake: Maybe he was just curious.

Yang: You think?

Blake: No.

[Sighs]

Yang: Weiss?

Yang: Are you awake?

Weiss: Of course I'm awake! You two are talking.

Weiss: And I think he...

Weiss: When I said I wanted to honor my family's name,

Weiss: I meant it.

Weiss: But...

Weiss: It's not what you think.

Weiss: I'm not stupid.

Weiss: I'm fully aware of what my father has done with the Schnee Dust Company.

Weiss: Since he took control...

Weiss: Our business has operated in a...

Weiss: ...moral gray area.

Blake: That's putting it lightly.

Weiss: Which is why I need to make things right.

Weiss: If I had taken a job in Atlas,

Weiss: It wouldn't have changed anything.

Weiss: My father was not the start of our name, and I refuse to let him be the end of it.

Blake: All my life, I fought for what I thought was right.

Blake: I had a partner...

Blake: ...named Adam.

Blake: More of a mentor, actually.

Blake: He always assured me that what we were doing would always make the world a better place.

Blake: But of course, his idea of a perfect future turned out to be...

Blake: ...not perfect for everyone.

Blake: I joined the Academy because I knew that Huntsmen and Huntresses were regarded as the most noble warriors in the world.

Blake: Always fighting for good.

Blake: But I never really thought past that.

Blake: When I leave the Academy,

Blake: What will I...

Blake: How can I undo so many years of hate?

Yang: I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Yang: You're not one to back down from a challenge, Blake.

Blake: But I am!

Blake: I do it all the time.

Blake: When you learned I was a Faunus, I didn't know what to do, so I ran!

Blake: When I realized my oldest partner had become a monster, I ran!

Blake: Even my... Semblance.

Blake: I was born with the ability to leave behind a shadow of myself.

Blake: An empty copy that takes the hit while I run away.

Yang: At least you two have something that drives you.

Yang: I've just kinda of always... gone with the flow, y'know.

Yang: And that's fine, I mean, that's who I am.

Yang: But how long can I really do that for?

Yang: I wanna be a Huntress...

Yang: Not really because I want to be a hero.

Yang: But because I want the adventure.

Yang: I want a life where I don't know what tomorrow will bring.

Yang: And that'll be a good thing.

Yang: Being a Huntress just happens to line up with that.

Yang: I'm not like Ruby.

Yang: She's always wanted to be a Huntress.

Yang: It's like she said.

Yang: Ever since she was a kid, she'd dreamt about being the heroes in the books.

Yang: Helping people and saving the day.

Yang: And never asking for anything else in return.

Yang: Even when she couldn't fight...

Yang: She knew that's what she wanted to do.

Yang: That's why she trained so hard to get where she is today.

Weiss: Well, she's still just a kid.

Blake: She's only two years younger. We're all kids.

Yang: Well...

Yang: Not anymore.

Yang: [Laughs] I mean, look where we are.

Yang: In the middle of a warzone and armed to the teeth!

Blake: It's the life we chose.

Weiss: It's a job.

Weiss: We all had this romanticized vision of being a Huntress in our heads.

Weiss: But, at the end of the day...

Weiss: It's a job to protect the people.

Weiss: And whatever we want,

Weiss: ...will have to come second.

Ruby: Uhh...

Ruby: Huuuh...?

Ruby: Zwei... it's late.

Ruby: Go back to bed...

[Yawns]

Ruby: Zwei? Zwei!

Ruby: Augh...

Ruby: [Whispering] Zwei!

Ruby: Zwei where are you?!

Ruby: Zweeeei!

[Urinating sound]

Ruby: Huh?

Ruby: Zwei, this is a wasteland!

Ruby: You literally could have done that anywhere!

Other characters: Bark~!

Other characters: Voice: What was that?

Other characters: What was what?

Other characters: I thought I heard a Beowolf...

Other characters: ...or something.

[The other one groans]

Other characters: Let's just finish our patrol and get back to base.

Other characters: This place gives me the creeps.

Ruby: Did they go in yet?

Ruby: One bark means yes.

[Heavy, chained door closes]

Other characters: Bark~!

Ruby: Oh! This is it! This is it!

[Beeping]

Ruby: Aw, man!

Ruby: Ah-- Gaaah.

Ruby: Come on!

Ruby: We gotta get the others!

[cr*ck]

Ruby: Huh?!

Ruby: Ah!

Other characters: Bark! Bark!

[Thud]

Ruby: Guh!

Other characters: Freeze!

Other characters: Where did she come from?

Ruby: Wah!

Other characters: You're a long way from home, little girl.

[Gasps]

Ruby: Hey! Hands off!

Other characters: The boss is gonna wanna see this one...

[Yawns tiredly]

Yang: Hey, Weiss...

Yang: It's your...

Yang: Ruby?

Yang: Hey... where's Ruby?

[Footsteps]

Emerald: What?

Yang: Zwei?

Blake: What's going on?

Emerald: Oobleck: Grab your weapons!

Emerald: Your leader may be in trouble.

Other characters: Hey, be careful!

Other characters: What are you trying to do, blow us to the moon?

Other characters: Sorry, sir!

Other characters: Hey, boss!

Other characters: Found something you might wanna see!

Jaune: Is it good or bad, Perry, because let me tell ya, I have had a day.

Other characters: Uh.....

Other characters: It's a little girl?

Jaune: That would be bad.

Yang: Yang: Ruby's scythe!

Blake: Blake: Oh no!

Weiss: Do you think she fell?

Emerald: Fell?!

Weiss: Down there...

Emerald: Oh my...

Emerald: Of course...

Emerald: Of course. Of course! OF COURSE!

Blake: What is it?!

Emerald: How could I be so stupid?!

Yang: Dr. Oobleck, what's wrong?!

Emerald: Mountain Glenn!

Emerald: Yes!

Emerald: An expansion of Vale that was inevitably destroyed by creatures of Grimm!

Emerald: Previously home to thousands of people!

Emerald: Working people commuting to the city, the main city!

Emerald: Developed a subway system to the inner city!

Emerald: Grimm's att*cks increased!

Emerald: Population endangered, now desperately searching for shelter!

Emerald: City evacuates into the metro tunnels and what do they find?!!

Emerald: The southeast quadrant of Vale is known for wild forests and deep caves!

Yang: Doc! What are you saying?!

Emerald: My dear, we're not just looking for an underground crime network!

Emerald: We're looking for an UNDERGROUND crime network!

Blake: They've been working in caves?

Emerald: No, no, Mountain Glenn was Vale's first serious attempt at expansion.

Emerald: It worked for a short period of time, they sort of regressed to a primitive defense,

Emerald: A unique transportation,

Emerald: The city developed in the labyrinth subway system to carry citizens safely from the new territory into the main Kingdom!

Emerald: Sadly, without the many natural barriers Vale had to protect its borders,

Emerald: Mountain Glenn was doomed from the start!

Emerald: As the end drew near, the citizens of the territory made one last attempt at survival.

Emerald: They took up shelter beneath the city!

Emerald: In massive caves they had cleared out for the subway.

Emerald: And they had cut themselves from the surface!

Yang: An underground village?!

Emerald: In a matter of speaking, yes.

Emerald: A safe haven.

Emerald: Until...

Emerald: ...an expl*si*n opened the mouth of another cavern,

Emerald: ...filled with subterranean Grimm.

Emerald: After that...

Emerald: The Kingdom officially sealed off the tunnels.

Emerald: Creating the world's largest tomb.

Emerald: If Ruby is down there...

Emerald: We must find her.
