♪ Brother and sister,
Maya and Miguel ♪

Oh, hi. I'm Maya. I live here.

My best friends
Maggie and Chrissy and I

are a lot like the 3 musketeers.

You know,
"All for one and one for all."

That's why we call ourselves...

¡una, dos, tres...
las tres amigas!

The 3 friends.

We're all different,

but together,
we make a great team.

But there was one time
when our team fell apart,

and we were more like
"all for none."

All right!

It's almost time
for las tres amigas

to open for business.

I've practiced
my sales pitch.

And I have
my secret recipe.

And I planned out
the advertising campaign.

Huh? ¡Cuidado!

Oops! Sorry.

I really have to
squeeze the limes

to get out
all the juice.

Whoa. Did you say limes?

I made a sign for lemonade.

It's beautiful!

But it
doesn't have limes.

Can't we just make
plain old lemonade?

No. Sometimes
lemons and limes

like to be together

with their best friend,
sugar.

In the Dominican
Republic,

we put limes
in our drinks.

OK. I'll add
a dancing lime.

Get the napkins, Paco.

Servilletas
coming right up!

[Squawking]

THEO: Over here!

MIGUEL:
Ooh! Good one!

Unh!

Hey, here!

Excellent!

Hey, look what
the girls have set up.

A lemonade stand!

ANDY: Oh, no!

Look out!

Look out!

BOYS: Look out!

Phew!

[Sigh]

Nice save!

So, how much
for some lemonade
for your hero?

For the hero, it's free.

For you...

actually,
it's free for you

and all
your friends.

ANDY: Thanks!

THEO: Weren't you guys

supposed to be working
on your book report today?

CHRISSY:
Except you.

What'd I say?

Never remind them
of homework

they're supposed
to be doing.

Hmm.

Ahh!

Ahh!

Thanks!

Thanks!

MAGGIE:
Look at that.

They drank
their lemonade

even though Theo
didn't have any.

We would
never do that.

You took
Theo's drink away

because he mentioned
homework.

That's not the point.

The point is
that we stick together.

No matter what.

Nothing will
break us apart.

ALL: All for one
and one for all!

Awk!

¡Todos para uno,
y uno para todos!

¡Las tres amigas!

[Groan]

Here we go again.

What?

Just so you know,

we stick together,
too, all the time.

I mean, look at us.
We're part of a team.

Yeah, we're like
a well-oiled
machine.

And we did our homework
already.

Oh, yeah!

[All gasp]

OK! Adios!

[Boys laughing]

[Sigh]

Boys.

Um...

maybe we should
do our homework.

We only have
a week

before we give
our report.

Yeah. I haven't even
read the whole book yet.

OK,
but don't worry,

I've read
"The 3 Musketeers"

at least 10 times.

Really?

Of course.
It's a classic.

And I had a great idea

about how we could
make our presentation
really special.

COACH: All right, guys.
Good job.

Nice sh*t! Good try. Good try.

One-touch passing, now,
one-touch passing.

Hey!

Good ball control.
That's the way. That's the way.

Work the ball, work it.

MIGUEL: Check out
this move, guys.

Oh, beautiful. Beautiful.

Hey! Whoo!
You are a natural.

That's right.
You can do it.

Nice sh*t, Miguel!

[Cheering]

Awesome!

Yeah!
Right on!

[Whistle blows]

Nice move, Miguel.

Great practice, guys.

The team's coming together.

Next week, I'm having tryouts
for another forward--

somebody who can dribble
and kick the way Miguel can.

Heh heh!

Ha ha!

Hey, Miguel,
can you sort of
coach me this week?

You know,
for the tryouts
for forward?

Sure, no problem.

Thanks! Got to go!

Hey, Miguel,

forward's a position
I'd like to play.

Can you give me
some pointers?

Well, I...

Thanks, Miguel.

Uh-ohhh.

MAGGIE: If we dress up
like the 3 musketeers,

it'll really add punch
to our report.

Except there's only
two of us.

Where's Chrissy?

Awk! Awk! Tarde.

Right. She's late.
I'm sure she'll be here.

Unh!

MIGUEL: Whoa!

Uh, why are you guys
wearing caterpillars

on your lips
and beak?

Caterpillar!

Aah!

They're fake mustaches.

We're
the 3 musketeers.

But there are
only two of you.

Awk! What about me?

Sorry, Paco.

Chrissy'll
be here soon.

She'd better be!

Well, good luck.

ANDY:
That is so cool!

I'm going to get
that move down

the next time
we practice.

Andy, could you sort of
keep our practices

just between us
until the tryouts?

Sure, OK.

Cool.

Oh, man!

I left my lucky
soccer towel
on the field.

Be right back.

[Breathing heavily]

Sorry I'm late.

It's OK.

Did you know
that mathematically,
the best way

to score a goal
from the forward position
is to--

Theo.

Huh?

Practice, remember?

Yeah, sure.

And, um...

don't tell anybody
I'm coaching you, OK?

Till tryouts, I mean.

Sure, no problem.

[Slurping]

[Doorbell rings]

Well! Finally!

Awk! ¡Por fin!

Sorry I'm so late,
guys, but--

what's with
the weird outfits?

They're musketeer
costumes.

I made them.
You're Aramis.

Excuse me?
What did you call me?

Uh...Aramis?

One of
the 3 musketeers?

You haven't
read the book.

Yes, I have. It's just...

maybe I should get to pick
which musketeer I want to be.

OK.

Which of
the 3 musketeers
do you want to be?

The one with the sword?

Ugh! Honestly,
Chrissy,

you always
do this!

Do what?

We plan something,
and you're always late.

Name one time I was late.

Kindergarten.

The "Little Miss Muffet"
recital.

I was
Little Miss Muffet,

and you were
the spider,

only the spider
didn't show up!

[Audience laughing]

Ha ha ha!
I thought that was funny.

Yeah, you and 150
other people
in the audience.

CHRISSY: Yeah, OK,
I was late,

but like always,
you made me
be the spider.

Maybe
I wanted to be
Little Miss Muffet.

Did you ever
think of that?

All right, guys.
Come on!

We're supposed to be
working together.

BOTH: You stay out of this!

If it's going to be
like this,

maybe I don't want
to be a musketeer.

You don't
have to be Aramis.

But what about
our book report?

I'm going to
choose my own story
and do my own report.

But we need

Well, there's still

Awk! All for one!

Awk!

MAYA: Stop, Paco.
You're not helping.

[Squawking]

It was a lot of work
getting all this stuff,
you know!

What are you doing?

Going home.

Why?

If we're not
working together,

then I need to find
another book
for the report!

[Door slams]

Ay. ¿Que pasa?

Awk! All for one
and one for all!

Oh, man.

What took you
so long?

[Breathing heavily]

Oh, this is just awful.

I've got to figure out a way

to get las tres amigas
back together.

Awk!

Ha ha ha!

Awk! Beautiful!

Stop, Paco.
You're not helping.

No lo puedo creer.

Las tres amigas,

broken apart
just like that!

[Sigh]

I can't
believe it, either.

Aw, stop worrying,
Maya.

Maggie and Chrissy
can't stay mad
for too long.

This long
is already too long.

Besides,
how would you feel

if Andy and Theo suddenly
stopped speaking to you?

Oh, that would
never happen.

Oh, really?

Just wait
until they find out

you've been
coaching both of them

at the same time
for the same position

on the same soccer team.

Hmm.
They wouldn't care.

Awk! Oh, yes, they will!

Hmm. Then how come
you haven't told them?

Because I, uh...
um...

[Doorbell rings]

Awk! Saved by the bell!

I'll get it!

Chrissy! You're back!

Hola, Chrissy.

And see? Presents.

Awk! ¡Regalos!

Oh, Chrissy,
you didn't have to.

I didn't.

This is all the stuff
I've borrowed from you.

Unh!

MAYA: Oh.

Ohh...

I'm giving it
all back.

Uh-oh.

But, Chrissy...

[Ding]

Hi, Maggie.

¿Regalos?

I brought back
all your stuff.

Oh, no, Maggie.

Can't we just make up?

¿Las tres amigas?
¿Por favor?

Please, Chrissy?

Hey, wait a minute.

That sweater's not Maya's.
It's mine.

And that's
my bracelet.

And this t-shirt.

This pen.

These socks.

No, those are mine.

This book.

And again, no.

That was a present to me
from my abuela.

Mine!
Mine, mine, mine!

No!

No, that's mine!

Ohh.

Awk. All for one.

[Bell ringing]

Wow, Miguel.
You sure were right.

Yep. Las tres amigas

are now
las tres enemigas.

Wow, enemies.

Look at them.

We would never
do that.

Hey!

Stop copying me!

Hey!

[Grunt]

Hmm.

Hmm!

Mmm!

Girls...

[Laughing]

If they were a soccer team,
they'd never score a goal.

Not without a lot
of, uh, coaching.

Some intense tryouts.

Heh heh heh.

Heh heh heh!

MAYA: Just wait until
Andy and Theo find out

you've been coaching
both of them at the same time.

[Gulp]

[Panting]

Unh!

Goal!

Time's up. Got to go!

Hey.

Hmm.

Hey!

Hmm.

MAYA, VOICE-OVER:
And then things went
from bad to worse.

Ha ha!

Whoa!

Whoa!

Hey!

Andy? Andy?

Theo?

Sorry I'm late.

Oh, Andy.

Uh, yeah, sure.
That's OK.

Can we practice
that overhead chip sh*t?

Yeah. Chip sh*t.
Overhead.

Right.

Are you OK?

I'm great.
Chip sh*t.

It's like this.

Wait till Theo
sees my chip sh*t.

I can't wait
to be forward!

Aah!

Um...

Hey. Heh.

ANDY: Hey, Theo.

What are you doing here?

What are you
doing here?

Uh...

soccer practice
with Miguel.

Me, too.

I'm trying out
for forward.

Me, too!

Miguel?

Miguel?

Sorry, guys.
Oh, look.
I can explain.

See,
the thing is,

both of you
asked me,

and I couldn't
say no to
either of you

because you're both
my friends,

and I couldn't tell
you about it

because you might
get mad.

Sort of like
you're getting now.

How could you
do this to us?

Yeah, how?

Because I--you...

Hey!
Why don't we all
practice together?

That way--

Forget it!

Go practice with
your best friend
Theo there.

Andy, wait!

Forget it!

Theo?

Best friend? Ha!

That's so funny
I forgot to laugh.

[Sigh]

Ohh.

Awk!

This is mine.

Oh, and this
is mine.

[Both talking at once]

Hmm!

Everyone's
sitting apart.

What are we going to do?

I have no idea.

[Squawks]

Fine. If Maggie
and Chrissy

are going to do
their own book reports,

then so will I.

I have lots of books right here
I can pick from.

Awk!

Uh, "Little
Red Riding Hood."

Awk! The better
to eat you with!

[Howl]

Yeah. Too young.

"Charlotte's Web."

Awk! Pigs and spiders.
Yuck!

[Squawking]

Paco!
Ya! Settle down.

[Sigh]

All I really want to be
is a musketeer.

Awk! All for one!

It's so hot in here.

[Gasp]

¡Eso es! Lemonade!

[Squawking]

Who would have thought
book reports could be
so tricky?

[Miguel grunting]

Ohh.

[Crash]

[Cat meows]

Hmm.

That won't work.

Unh!

Huh?

Whoa!

Huh?

Hey,
that's my ball.

No, it's mine.

I know my soccer ball
when I see it.

Yeah, right.

So what about
this smudge?

That's my smudge.

Andy!

No,
it's my footprint.

This is my soccer ball!

It's mine! Mine!

[All grunting]

[Laughter]

I'm sorry, guys.
I really am.

Yeah, me, too.

Me, 3.

So then what are we
waiting for?

You guys
have tryouts tomorrow.

Square pass, back pass,
overhead chip sh*t.

Square pass, back pass--

Look out!

Yes!

[Sigh]

Paco,
it's not the same

without
las tres amigas.

Aww.

Chrissy, Chrissy!

Hi, Paco.

Hola, Chrissy.

Hi, Chrissy.

Hi.

So, what are you
up to?

Ohh...stuff.

It's hard doing
a lemonade stand
with just Paco.

So do you maybe--

do you want
to do it together?

OK.
I'll get some limes!

MAGGIE: Hey,
lemonade again.

Uh-huh.

Do you need help
with the sign?

Yeah, could you?

Oh. Chrissy.

Hi.

Maybe
I'd better--

Don't go.

I like it best
when we're all together.

Even though
I'm bossy?

And even though
I'm late?

And even though
I'm in everyone's business?

Hey! We go well together!

Actually, we do
go well together,

like peanut butter
and chocolate...

Arroz con habichuelas...

Dogs and fleas!

What?

What?

Uh, it was
the first thing
I thought of.

I think
what Chrissy's
trying to say

is that sometimes
lemons like
to be with...

Limes,
and their best friend...

Sugar!

So...we're
las tres amigas again?

[Andy panting]

COACH: Nice sh*t!

Beautiful!

All of you did
such a great job.

As for our new
starting forward,

well, I was so impressed

that I'm changing
our formation

to accommodate
two new starting forwards:

Andy and Theo.

[Cheering]

MAYA, VOICE-OVER:
So, las tres amigas
got back together,

and so did the 3 musketeers.

The guys made up, too.

I guess that just because
you're best friends,

it doesn't mean you'll never
have a fight and split apart.

But when you're angry,

it's good to remember
why you were friends
in the first place.

[Laughter]

Awk! All for one
and one for all.
