Previously on The Amazing Race...

Go!

11 teams of two set out from
Colorado's Red Rock Amphitheater...

- We're going to Brazil, baby!
- Oh, mylanta!

and flew nearly 6.000 miles
to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

We just want you to go "rápido"!

Friends Eric and Jeremy
and best friends B.J. and Tyler

surged ahead.

Come on, buddy, let's go!

And took a ride over the
city in search of a clue.

Is this the most James Bond
thing you've ever done?

Married parents Fran and Barry...

I don't see it.

kept walking right by
the clue box.

It's gotta be right in front of us.

Scott, you've go to
get your edge out.

While lifelong friends
John and Scott bickered...

English?
Do you speak English?

and struggled to communicate
with the locals.

Ok, he doesn't want to--
people hate us.

We're making a critical mistake.

Childhood friends
Danielle and Dani

tried in vain to
build a motorcycle.

Do you really think you can
put this thing together?

'cause I don't.

We gotta build this thing.

While the locals cheered
on dating couple Ray and Yolanda.

Beautiful body.

But married parents
Lake and Michelle...

This is going to be easy!
Hell yeah!

rose to the task.

Yes!
Yes!

Married parents Fran and Barry...

I honestly didn't think
it would be this hard.

couldn't figure it out.

This is terrible.

So they switched to the other detour.

- We're still in it.
- Ok, hurry.

It's not over 'til the fat lady sings.

It's not over yet.

In the end, Eric and
Jeremy arrived first.

You're team number one!

And while sisters Lisa and
Joni lagged behind...

John and Scott tried to conjure
luck to move them ahead.

But ultimately the lifelong
friends were the first team eliminated.

I'm sorry to tell you, you have
been eliminated from the race.

Now, 10 teams remain.
Who will be eliminated next?

Subtitulado y sincronizado por: TwiNe

This is Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The largest city in the
southern hemisphere.

Crowded with nearly

the world's most popular sport.

This city's heart beats at
Estadio Municipal Do Pacaembu.

This massive soccer stadium
was the first pit stop

in a race around the world.

Teams arrived here at
the end of the last leg

for a mandatory rest period.

Will Fran and Barry
move past their mistakes

and stay competitive in the race?

And can Lisa and Joni find a
way to climb out of last place?

Eric and Jeremy, who were
the first to arrive,

will depart at 5:34 A.M.

"Make your way to Edificio Copan."

Teams must now travel
two and a half miles to this place,

Edificio Copan.

Once here they must enter
Bloco F to receive their next clue.

Let's go, brother.

Let's wait for the other guys.

They're only two minutes behind us,
so we can go together.

We're here for the race, and
we're here to do on the race,

but we definitely have
girls on our brains.

And if we get some
sex on the race--

- Or dating or something.
- Or sex, than it's good.

Naughty things are gonna happen.

- Here we go!
- Do it!

"Make your way to
Edificio Copan."

Let's go!

Let's go, muscles from brussels.

We both have a competition

and a brotherhood
with Eric and Jeremy.

It's funny 'cause we're kind
of from two different worlds

but for some reason,
we have a fundamental

understanding of each other.

Do you know Edificio Copan?

- Sí.
- Obrigado.

- Let's try to flag another one.
- Taxi!

Just pull over there.
¡Rápido!

Ok, let's go.
Vamos.

"Make your way to
Edificio Copan."

Ok, let's go.
It's Jeremy.

What coming in third
has done for us

is sort of eliminated self-doubt.

Now we know that
we're true competitors

and having that little boost
of self-confidence

is going to help us a lot.

Taxi, over here.

All right.

Vámonos, vámonos.
Por favor.

Here we go.

- Let's go.
- Let's go.

Being in love with
each other and the adventure

of this race we're
going on is going to be

the glue to get through
this whole thing.

She's my hottie boom body
with the naughty pilates.

I love you.

- Edificio Copan?
- Copan?, yeah.

This is fun.

The light's red.

We have a lead and we're losing it.

- Hey, they're prostitutes.
- Oh, my.

That's pretty nice right there.

- That's a man.
- That's a guy, dude.

Oh, my gosh.

I just said that
guy has a nice ass.

Yeah.

- Run!
- Run!

- Looks like we're here.
- All right.

This is Edificio Copan.

There's a team right there.

Bloco F, right?

- F?
- F?

Look around the corner.

Edificio Copan building.

Right there, ok.

Let's go get my boyfriend
first and bring him with us.

Muchas gracias, señor.

- Let's go.
- Just go in there?

- This way.
- Is this F?

What's up, guys?

- Dave, let's go.
- This way!

- Bloco F?
- Right down here.

Is this open?
Abierto?

until 8:00, guys.

Oh, crumbs.

"You have 23 bucks for
this leg of the race."

- Ready?
- Yeah, let's go!

Lake is definitely a
type A personality.

Dealing with him sometimes
is hard, but that's where

my strength comes in.

If I step in and say, let's
calm down a little bit,

he does have a tendency to
step back and do things differently.

There's a taxi.

- Haul ass, let's go.
- Calm down.

- All right, let's roll.
- All right! Whoo-hoo!

To us, sixth place is great
when we were the last flight out.

b*ating some of the people who
were on flights ahead of us

really showed us that
we're a strong team and

we're just going to make sure
that we never, ever give up.

Taxi!
Hurry, hurry.

- There's Capon, right there.
- There they are right there.

- Hurry!
- All right, let's go.

- Let's go, guys.
- It doesn't open until 8:00 AM.

All right, let's go, let's go.

To be honest, we've been
floundering, and it's not

a place that i'm
comforable being in.

It's a marathon, it's
how you finish at the end.

So we can regroup,
and we should be fine.

Taxi!

Hopefully we can
make up some ground.

Let's rock 'n' roll.

Ok.

I was diagnosed with
breast cancer 4 years ago,

but once I went
through the treatment,

I needed to prove that
I was in as good a shape now

as I was before the cancer came.

Fran is extremely tough.

Her perseverance, her energy,
really exceeds most people

and I love her very much.

- Whoa-ho, taxi!
- Quick, quick!

Edificio Copan.

We started off with
having a strategy

that our femininity was going
to get us through this race

and it definitely didn't
take us as far

as we thought it
was gonna take us.

It's really about how bad
you want something

and how far you're
willing to push yourself.

Taxi!

Let's go.

Rápido, rápido.

Whoo-hoo!
Let's go.

This race is so much harder
than I thought it was going to be.

This is so far out of my element

and I usually don't handle
things well like this.

Lisa does get really quiet
and really down

when she get low or
nervous or insecure.

But i've got to think of a
way to pull her up out of that

and keep going in the race.

Taxi!
Whoo!

Let's dash.

- Copan.
- Ok.

No hurry, guys.

- It's not open?
- Not open.

- It opens at 8:00 AM.
- Oh, man.

Oh, there's...
there's the team.

Hey, guys.

It opens at 8:00 AM.

- This is the Copan.
- Ok.

Wait. Relax.

- Why?
- It doesn't open until 8:00 AM.

Yes!

Copan, there's Copan.
Good to go.

Oh, my God.

Everybody's here.

- Here we go!
- Come on, come on, come on.

Let's go, baby.

Go, B.J.!

Tyler!

Let's go.

Roadblock.

"Who's ready for a fire drill?"

A roadblock is a task that
only one person may perform.

In this roadblock, that person
has to climb one of three

fire escapes on this building.

Once at the top,
they'll put on a harness

and rappel down

where they'll receive
their next clue.

Teams may choose any
of the three fire scapes,

however, the order in which
they arrive at the top

will determine the order
in which they descend.

- I'll do it.
- Do it.

I'll do it.

- Roadblock.
- Roadblock.

I'll do it.

- I'll do it.
- Go ahead.

You.

- You or me?
- You.

- You are.
- All right.

- Do you want me to do it?
- You do it.

- Do you want me to do it?
- Ok.

I have to go all
they way up there?

Oh God.
I'm gonna have a heart att*ck.

Go, Des!

Hurry up, got to b*at her.
Go, go!

Run, b*at her.
Hurry up, Jer.

Go, baby, you can do it!

Come on, Danielle!
Go, Dan!

Go, baby!
All right.

Come on, Dave!

Slow and steady,
you can do it.

- How many are even up there?
- One.

Go, take your time, Lake.
Don't lose your breath.

I'm going up this one.

You got it!

Go, baby, go!

Come on, Dave!

Show me the money.

Go, Joni!

You're doing great.

Go, B.J.!

Surprised that none of
the other teams are waiting here

'cause I'm sure that
there are lines

at the other fire escapes.

Hey, Jeremy, you
better start running!

Hey, Des, you
better b*at Jeremy!

Hey, what'd you say?

I got to make the girls feel good

so we can get in their pants later.

All right, Ray!

Come on, Desiree!

Come on, Fran!

Show them that senior power!

Go, Lake!

Go, Joseph, baby,
you can do it.

You got it!

Let's go, Dave!

Let's go, baby!

You're doing great, everybody
else is going slow, too.

Let's go, Jeremy!

This is crazy.

Rappel like you've never
rappelled before, Jeremy!

Go, baby!
You got it!

Nice!

Yeah, dude!

Yeah!

Jeremy, come faster!

Im, trying!

- Oh, my God.
- Ah!

Jeremy, you look amazing, buddy.

Go, Joseph!

Go!

You're the best fireman ever.

"Travel by bus to the
town of Brotas, Brazil."

Teams must now go to
the Barafunda bus station

and find tickets for one
of three charter buses:

10:15 AM, 11:15 AM and 12:15 PM.

They'll travel more than 150 miles

to the town of Brotas.

Once there, they must choose
one of these V.W. Bugs

to receive their next clue.

Let's go.

Go, Joseph!

Oh, my God,
I love you!

Yay!

"Brotas, Brazil."
Ok, babe, let's go.

Come on buddy,
you got it!

Yeah!

Good job, man.
Nice, nice.

- "Brotas, Brazil."
- Let's get out of here.

We have to find the bus station.

- Hey, guys.
- Taxi!

- Follow them.
- Let's go.

Come on.

We got to go to the bus
station, so let's get this taxi.

- Buddy!
- Do it.

Go, Lake!
Come on, babe!

- Hell, yeah!
- Go, Lake!

In case I don't live
through this, I love you.

Come on, Ray!

Let it fly, babe!

That's right, cuz.

All right, get it!

That's it, just slide
on slowly down.

- Yeah!
- Awesome, honey.

"Travel by bus."
Hell, yeah!

Come on Ray, come on, baby.
It's close.

"Travel by bus..."
Come on, sweetie.

Let's ask right here.
Let's just ask.

Terminal Portabario?

He says this one will
take you there.

God I hope he knows,
or we're dead.

- Barafunda Bus Station?
- Got to hurry.

Come on, baby!

Come on, Dave.
You got it, baby.

Come on, come on.

Come on, Dez,
you be safe, girl.

I just wanna be down there.
I don't even wanna look.

You slide that baby down, girl.

Get a feel for it,
get a feel for it.

Slide on down, baby!

So good.

"Brotas, Brazil."
Ok, rock on.

Come on.

We got places to go,
people to meet.

There you go, Des.
You're getting it now.

I hate heights.

On, yeah, baby!

There she is.

"Brotas, Brazil."
Ok, let's go.

Ok, we got to find a taxi.

Muy, muy rápido.

Taxi over here, Des.

Necesito uno rápido.

I don't know why
I'd say I want to do this.

I'm petrified of heights.

I don't know what made
me think I could do this.

Come on, Dan!

You can do it, girl!

I am so nervous.

Holy...

I can't even look at that right now.

I can't even breathe.

Oh, my God.

I can't do it.
I can't, I'll have a heart att*ck.

I don't know why I'm here.
Oh, my God.

I don't know why I would
say I want to do this.

I'm petrified of heights.

Oh, my God.
I'm really so nervous.

- I hate this.
- You'll be all right.

Being nervous isn't the best thing.
I have to relax.

Concentrate on lettin' go
and lookin' in the wall.

Come on, Dan!

You can do it, girl!

Okay, are you ready?

I'll never be ready
but I'm gonna do it.

She's so tough,
it's not even funny.

Come on, Dan!

You're doing so good,
you're doing it, you're doing it.

Yes!

Looking great.

Come on, Danielle!
Yeah, you can do it!

You're doing awesome.
Let's go!

You can do it!

You're doing good.
Just slide down.

You're doing so good!
Yeah, girl, come on!

You did so good,
I'm so proud of you.

I can conquer anything.

Let's go, girl.

Slide, bitch, slide!

I'm just hangin', I'm so fat,
I'm just going down.

Let's go.

- We got to go find a bus station.
- OK.

Taxi!

Autobús.

- You don't speak any English?
- No.

Let's just walk until we find somebody,
they're still rappelling down.

All right, baby!

Show 'em your stuff!
Let it go, quick!

- Come on, baby.
- Perfect, now you're cooking.

Unbelievable!
Fantastic!

"Travel by bus.."
Ok, pack's right here.

Let's go.
There's taxis there.

- Hurry up!
- You did phenomenal.

- Will you help us find a taxi?
- Yeah.

We need to hurry.

- $10.
- Ok, it's a deal, buddy.

Let's go.

Look for terminal turistico.

Once there, take a ticket with the
next available departure time.

Keep your eyes peeled
for other teams.

- Terminal turistico?
- Yes.

- Right here is good, sir.
- Right with that taxi please, sir.

Baby, there's one
more team behind us.

- We got to go.
- Come on, baby.

- We got to catch them.
- We got another team.

- Thank you.
- Gracias, amigo. Thank you, thank you.

- Hurry.
- Let's go, Jer.

Frat boys!

Look, here's Turistico.
That's where we're supposed to go

- once we get here.
- Come on, baby.

- Where are you, baby?!
- Come on, this way, this way.

Go, go, go!

We got it.

Sweet!, everybody's got 10:15?

- 11:15 AM.
- Damn.

Well done.

One, two, three teams
will get ahead of us again.

Damn.

Ok, babe.
Terminal Turistico.

That's the terminal
we need to find.

Ask that dude.

Where is the Barafunda
Bus Station?

This is another bus station.

- We went to the wrong one.
- Ok.

Taxi!

Hey, ask him if he
knows where to go.

Barafunda Bus Station.

- Let's go.
- Damn.

- Terminal Turistico?
- Yes.

There's the mom and daughter.

- Is this the terminal here?
- Yes.

Ok.
Here's Lori.

- Lori and Dave are here?
- We got here the same time.

Go, go, go, Lori!

- 11:15.
- What time?

- 11:15.
- 11:15.

Let's go.
Hurry, hurry, hurry.

This sucks.

Our departure time is 12:15.

What time are you guys leaving?

Um, two hours before you guys.

I heard you had g*ns.

Oh, is it--
Yeah, those are pretty nice.

Let me see this.

I'm just going to
touch it a little bit.

That's pretty nice.

- You girls are naughty.
- And I like it?

We're naughty?

Let's go.

One.

- Let's get.
- Ok.

Oh, my God.

- Only one behind us.
- Dang it.

Come on, Joni.

All right, guys.
First bus.

Oh, man.
Look at that.

- Oh, my gosh.
- Brazil is beautiful, man.

It is, this is awesome, man.

Enjoy it while you can.

Here we go.

Here we are, on the
third chartered bus.

Choose a V.W. Bug.

- Let's go.
- Go, babe.

- How about this gold one?
- This one looks fine.

- You want to go with this one?
- Yeah.

Yes!

Detour: Press It or Climb It.

A detour is a choice
between two tasks,

each with its own pros and cons.

In this detour, teams have to
choose between Press It and Climb It.

In Press It, teams travel
to this old plantation,

Camping Bela Vista.

Where they must process
raw sugar cane into juice

then, teams must distill
the fermented juice

to create 50 milliliter of ethanol.

An alternate fuel source
used by nearly 1/3 of all Brazilians.

Once they complete the task,
they'll be given their next clue.

However, they must pour
the ethanol into their car

before driving to
their next destination.

The task is not physically demanding,

but completing this scientific
process could take a while.

In Climb It, teams
travel to Usina Jacaré,

and hike to this waterfall.

Once here, they must perform a

using mechanical ascenders.

When bot teams members
have completed the climb,

they'll receive their next clue.

The task is extremely physical,

but a team that can muster
the use of the ascenders

could finish fast.

Dude, let's Climb It!

- Climb It sounds good.
- We're doing Climb It.

Let's climb, bro.
We'll follow you, guys.

All right!, back to our roots
in this V.W.'s, huh, buddy?

Yeah, man.

It's just going to be
hard to drive, babe.

You know all in all,
it's fun just following.

Run inside.

Excuse me, we're going
to Usina Jacaré.

No comprendo.

They're going to, like, lose us.

'Cause we're not doing any
direction helping.

- Too bad she has a boyfriend.
- Yeah, i'd spank her butt, too.

Right here, he's saying we
go up there, come on, come on.

Hot dog!

Hey, punch buggy white!
No punchbacks.

I may hold you back
today, Joseph,

because we're against
two guys, but I'll work my

butt off to climb
that rope, if it's a rope.

We're going to be climbing
up a rope waterfall in 10 minutes.

I can't wait to slip
on my speedo.

- I see an arrow.
- Yeah.

Run.

Brazil!

Usina Jacaré, there it is.
Come on, let's go.

Usina Jacaré.
Yeah, there they are.

Let's go!

Here we are.
Good to see you.

Both of you are climbing
up on the same line.

Ok, this is so beautiful.

- You go first.
- Ok.

This is really cool.

Climb like a monkey, boy.

Yeah!

¡Rápido!

Come on, man.

This stuff is slick, so don't fall.

- Oh, my gosh.
- She's goin' first.

There you go,
there you go.

Both hands on that.
There you go.

These are my suede shoes, man.

I love it!
This is so awesome!

Go, man.
You're almost there.

Pull yourself up.

Yeah!
All right!

You're doing awesome, Mo!

Perfect.

Nice and steady, Mo!

Come on, B.J.,
you've go it, buddy.

Push it up!
Yeah!

Where's all the girls helping us?

We need some girls in swimsuits.

You're doing great, Mo.
Keep it up.

Don't let go!

I don't want to fall.
Oh, my God!

- Pick one, baby.
- Come on, let's go.

- "Press It or Climb It".
- Press It.

I totally did that
experiment in school.

Come on, let's go Climb It.

I don't think I can
climb anything right now.

Ok, we're going
to do the Press It.

There you go!

- Let's go.
- Come on.

You are so rocking.
You're doing great.

Yeah!

Here is your next clue.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

Teams must now travel 20 miles
through the Brazilian countryside

searching for this place,
Fazenda Primavera Da Serra.

This 19th century coffee plantation

is the pit stop
for this leg of the race

The last team to check in here...

may be eliminated.

Let's go!

Brazil, you rock my world.

- All right, come on, slammer.
- It's all twisted.

Go, Joseph!

Joseph, you get a big kiss
when you get up here!

Hey, buddy!

Hey, is it that hard?

Why are they acting
like idiots up there?

Eric is the most uncoordinated
person i've seen right now.

Go, Joseph!
Use your MoJo!

Good job, baby.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

- Let's go.
- All right.

Use your foot, now
push it up, now go.

Come on, slammer,
you're almost there.

Oh, he's got it.

Who needs the reverse gear?

- We've got hippie power.
- Hippie power!

Get in.
Oh, my God.

I'm filthy... and I love it.

All right, nice work, bro.

Let's go, brother,
you're doing good.

We're making up time, nice job, Jer.

Good thing I have a helmet, huh?

You got it, brother.
We made up a lot of time, Jer.

Nice work.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

Come on.
Thanks, buddy.

Little green beanie, get
us to our destination, here.

Oh, my goodness.
It's so beautiful out here.

Everywhere you look it's green
with big white clouds, love it.

I'm hot as hell and ready
to get some water on me.

So I think climbing
will be excellent right now.

Hopefully it's not going
to be too much further,

we'll be able to get go
make some ethanol.

Detour.

We made a mistake with
the motorcycle and

we knew nothing about
sugar cane.

- Climb It?
- Climb It.

- Rope climb might be easier.
- Ok, then do it.

- What do you want to do?
- Waterfall.

We're going to Press It.

- Hurry, hurry.
- Go, go, go.

Go little car.

Let's go.

- This car is a piece of crap.
- Let's go, let's go.

Try to catch up to
the other teams.

This car will not stay alive.

I'm having to keep the clutch in.

It's going to be ok.

I can't do this, I can't
keep this car alive,

you've got to tell me
we're where to go.

We're working together.

I'm driving and you're
telling me where to go.

That's how we're working together.

- I'm going down the wrong way.
- Just go with the flow.

I need you to do this for me.

We agreed that I would
drive and you would do this,

I can't do both, ok?

Son of a bitch.

I need you to do this for me.

We agreed that I would
drive and you would do this,

I can't do both, ok?

Son of a bitch.

Listen, Lisa, you
need to stay calm

and let's just stop
and ask somebody.

Ask this man right--

We're going to go here,
"drive to Campa Bella."

On that road right there?
Ok.

Great, ok.
We're on our way.

We've got to book
it to the pit stop.

- Let's ask where it is.
- Ok.

Primavera Da Serra?

She said to ask up ahead.

Here we go, here we go.
Fazenda Primavera?

- She has no clue.
- Oh, my God!

Who is that?
The girls.

Jeremy and Eric.

- I hope our girls do good.
- I hope they don't get eliminated.

Then what are we gonna do?
Hook up with hippies?

- This guy, ready?
- Yeah.

- Perdón.
- Primavera Da Serra?

Hippies.

Can we follow you?

- No problem.
- Obrigado.

All right, follow him.

Stay with them as
close as you can, Jer.

I hope this is the way.

- Go in and ask.
- Yeah.

Fazenda Primavera?

Primavera Da Serra.

- You take the road to there.
- Thank you.

- Sweet!
- What?, oh, good job.

- Ok.
- What's it say?

"Choose a sugar cane press."
Oh, my gosh.

We got to do 15 st*lks
of sugar cane juice.

- Ok, ready?
- Yeah.

We'll take turns cranking.

Rock and roll!

Freaking awesome!

Spray me in the face.

- Ok.
- Next.

We got to find it.

- That's it.
- Yeah.

Shizzle dizzle.
Right here, let's go.

This is a workout, too.

Oh, crap, there's
a sign right there.

Oh, my gosh, Des,
we drove by here!

Did we go the wrong way...
Yeah.

Oh, my gosh.
We missed it.

I really hope this isn't
going to be the end for us.

You can do it, Ray.

Go get 'em good.
Push down your leg, baby.

There you go, you're getting it.

I got it, I got it now.

- Last one?
- Good, yeah.

- Keep pushing.
- I'm pushing, babe.

Ok, let's go.
Hi.

Pour it in there.
Then they'll light it for us.

Hit it.

Making some homemade moonshine.

The spirit of Mr. Wizard
is with us right now.

Camping Bella Vista!

- You hear that?
- Hey, guys.

- Hey, guys.
- Ok, i got it.

- That's it?
- Yeah, i'll crank.

Oh, lordy.

All right, baby!

Yolanda!

Make sure you use your legs.

Her legs are super strong.
They're stronger than mine.

It's kind of nerver wracking.
Go, go, go!

- Drop by drop.
- There you go.

- Obrigado.
- Good luck, girls.

Ok, bye.

- Got a little gas.
- Go.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

Yeah, pit stop!

Come on.

Let's go, Yolanda!

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

- You ok, babe?
- Yeah.

Come on.

- 15.
- We got it.

Pour your juice into the
flask on the bunsen burner.

This is karma for
all the times I passed out

in chemistry class.

We're headed to the waterfall.

I think we're better at
climbing than trying to figure out

how to turn raw sugar
cain into ethanol.

We caught up with
Barry and them.

- See them up there?
- Yeah.

Baby, we're on the
nitty-gritty right now.

I know.

Oh, we got behind some
slow-ass trucks again.

Ridiculous.

Oh, my God.

This is so hard to drive this car.

Oh, so we're supposed
to enjoy looking at the scenery?

I'm fixing to pass out
from the damn exhaust fumes.

Yeah, you go, girl.
Come on.

It's touching, guys.

Read the clue.

"Drive yourselves to the pit stop."
Muchas gracias.

Dont' get gas all
over your hands.

Come on.

We just have to keep our focus.

We may be eliminated right now.

We just don't know.

Primavera Da Serra.

Let's hope this guy is
taking us the right way.

This guy is driving us a long way.

I don't know what to do.

I don't see signs,
I mean, would it be this far?

Wait, we're going to ask
this gas station.

- What do you think, Beej?
- No, follow him, follow him.

All right, keep going.

Stop at this service station,

All right.

- The hippies aren't following us.
- I'm a little nervous here.

I think we kind of lost the frats.
God, I hope this is the way.

We need help, we need
to find Fazenda Primavera Da Serra.

- Oh, i'm about to faint.
- I hope this is the road.

- It's very important, very fast.
- Do you know where it is?

- Yes.
- How far?

One kilometer.

- Oh, my gosh.
- This is not good.

Damn!, we could have
been in first.

Hot dogs!

We got a date with Phil!

Let's go.

Hey Philip.

Welcome to Brotas, Brazil.

- Yes!
- Thanks, man.

B.J. and Tyler...

you're team number one!

- Shut up!
- Stop it!

You really are team number one,

and I have some
good news for you.

What?!

As the first team to arrive,
you have won a trip for two

from Travelocity to Tahiti
with luxury accommodations

at the Moorea Pearl
Resord and Spa,

a traditional Polynesian-style hotel

located on the white sands
of Tahiti's lush North shore.

Oh, my Lord!
What?!

- A trip for two!
- A trip for two!

This is it, brother.

Hippies b*at us.

If we'd followed them,
we would have been golden.

- Let's go!
- Where's the damn Phil at?

Phil, you know how cranky
I am right now?

I'm going to smack you, woman.

This is not a good day.

- Eric and Jeremy.
- Yes, sir?

- You're team number two.
- All right.

We're here.

You guys seem to be thinking
a lot about the opposite sex

while you're doing this race.

We're just having fun.

- That is what we normally do.
- Yeah.

Is this what it's normally
like at home?

Yeah, it's a good time.

Joseph and Monica...

you're team number three.

- Is this it?
- Let's see down here.

- Ok.
- Hurry, hurry.

- There it is, look.
- Where?

The orange sign right
there on the left.

Let's get it.

- You're first.
- Okay.

Fran, right foot forward!

Oh, gosh.

I can't reach any higher.

Hey, i'm right here
with you, i'm ok.

I cant' get forward.

Michelle, do it baby.

I'm not going up.

There you go.
You can do it, baby.

- Fran, use your right foot.
- Do it, baby!

Go, baby, go!

Oh, God.

Yeah!
Yeah, baby!

Come on, Fran!

Oh God, I'm not getting it.

I'm not getting anywhere.

Come on, Fran!

Michelle, let's go, baby!

Oh God, I'm not getting it.

Frank, look at Michelle!
Put both hands on the ascendor.

Good, good, good.

That's it!

Michelle, you're doing great!
Get your ass up that mountain.

Go, baby, you almost got it!
Go, baby, go!

Yeah!
That's my girl!

Baby, I'm coin' after ya.

Go on, Fran, keep going.

Come on, baby.
Get it, get it, get it.

- That's it, Fran!
- You're doing good, baby. Let's go, let's go.

Good, Fran, keep going.
You're almost there, Fran.

That was unbelievable.
Fantastic.

Oh, my God.

Come on, Lake, you can
do it, babe. Go, go!

Show me what you got!

Come on, Lake, get over that wall!

Yeah!

"Drive yourselves to the
next pit stop", ok.

So close to the pit stop!

- Here we go!
- This way!

- Dave and Lori...
- Yeah?

- you're team number four.
- Yeah!

Sweet!

I hope it's up here.

- Fazenda Primavera.
- Yep.

Ray and Yolanda...

you're team number five.

Good. That's better.

We're really afraid that the
lack of a sense of direction

is gonna cost us the race.

Right there, right there,
right there!

Smile to us.

Wanda and Desiree,
you're team number six.

Oh, my God!

Ok, make a left.

I hope this is not a
ridiculous rope climb.

- That's 80 feet?
- We can get up there in...

two seconds after I
did the rappel thing.

Come on, Bar!

Come on, Danielle!
Yeah, you can do it!

Come on, Bar!

Go, Dan!

That's it, Bar!
That's it!

You got it!

Come on, Dan!
You're doing awesome! Let's go!

Come on, Dan!

Yeah, girl!

- Use the rope, Barry.
- I'm there.

- Here's your next clue.
- Yes.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

Come on, Fran.

We did so good.
So good.

Look at this road.

Are you kidding me?

Take it slow and easy.

It's ok, just calm down.

That's all you have to
do is stay calm.

This sign up here says
some kind of camp thing.

Let's go, ok, we need
to do the press first.

Pretend you're giving
birth to a child.

I didn't.
I had a c-section.

Oh, sweet Jesus.

Come on, Dani!

Come on, Dani!
Let's go, hurry!

Look at you!

You're doing so good.
I'm so proud of you.

You did so good!

I cannot believe how fast
you got up there.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

We can catch up.

We got to pray and hope
that the sisters are behind us.

Oh, I just-- a little
spit going in the ethel.

Oh, wow. Look at that
pretty sugar juice.

"Pour your fermented juice into
the flask on the bunsen burner."

Do not expect me
to ask anybody.

I am over done with Spanish.

- It's Portuguese.
- I can't understand it.

Primavera Da Serra.

- I don't know.
- No?

We got to hope that everybody
else is having this much trouble.

So right here and then left.

Oh, car d*ed.

- What's wrong?
- Car just d*ed. It just d*ed.

Battery's dead.

- My god!
- This is not good at all.

- You want to pull in?
- All right, let's go.

- Señor.
- ¿Dónde es Primavera Da Serra?

- Can you take us there?
- Yes.

Hop in. Please, please, God,
let us get there.

- Are you in neutral?
- I am now.

Oh, my God.
Barry and Fran.

They're pushing it.

Oh, my God.
Yeah, go around them.

See y'all!
Yeah!

I like Barry and Fran
but it's a race.

There they are,
they're gone.

- It's a dead battery.
- We're done.

What a way to get eliminated.

It's like moonshine
made with sugar cane.

Look, there it goes,
there it goes, there it goes.

It's like drops away.

Yes?
Thank you.

Lord have mercy, don't spill it.

Try not to get it
on the backpack.

"Drive yourselves to
the next pit stop."

Where is this guy taking us?

No, no, no, no!

He has no gas?

¿Dónde está Primavera Da Serra?

- Over here.
- Thank you so much.

We saw Fran and Barry,
their car was broken down.

That's a really good
thing for us right now.

- Are you taking us?
- Yeah.

Just get us there
and get it over with.

If we're last, let's be last
and be done.

Tell you what, we have
wasted so much time,

it's not even funny.

All right, here's our car.

If a car break downs
through no fault of the team,

the rule is, a replacement
car will be given to the team.

However, no time credit will be
given for this unlucky situation.

It's been interesting.

It ain't over until it's over.

I don't want to go home.

I know we worked
really hard today,

and I don't want to go home,
but i've done my best, so have you.

Fazenda Primavera.
Right there, in there.

- Fazenda, this is it.
- Yes, it is!

There's somebody up there.

- That's the girls.
- There's a buggy behind us.

- Yeah?
- Yes.

That's Lake and Michelle behind us.

Yeah, you go.
You go, girl!

They're speeding up,
they see us.

- Lake.
- What?!

Calm down a minute.

- Danielle?
- Yeah?

When I say run, act like
you're at the olympics.

Michelle, I mean, you haul ass
when we get up here now.

Move your ass right now.

Let's go, baby.
Michelle, run.

Come on, Dan!

Michelle, run!
Run!

I'm trying!

This is it!

Lake and Michelle...

- you're team number seven.
- Seven?

Seven!

Danielle and Dani, come in here,
stand next to these guys.

Danielle and Dani,
you're team number eight.

Thank God.

Thank God.

You want prizes,
is that what you want?

Did we win money?

This is awful.

Went from good
to bad to worse.

What can you do?
That's life.

- It's been great.
- It's been great.

We haven't given up.

We shall wait and see.

I'm very nervous.

I'm freaking out.
I'm freaking out.

Thought you'd be
sleeping, Phil.

- Fran and Barry.
- Yes.

you're...

- team number nine.
- Oh, my God!

Oh, my God!

What does it mean to
you right now knowing

that you are still in the race?

Oh, I'm good,
I'm really pumped up now.

Couldn't drive the stupid car.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

If we're a team,
it was both of us.

Hey, Phil.

It's been a long day.

It's ok.

Welcome to Brotas, Brazil.

Thank you.

Lisa and Joni...

you're the last team to arrive.

I'm sorry to tell you, you have
been eliminated from the race.

I wanted to do this so bad.

We did it.
We did it.

From the first moment
I saw this show,

I wanted to do this.

It's ok.
We did our best.

We did our best.

And that's all we
could do, you know?

I think Joni and I
were great partners.

What I admire most in Joni
is her outlook on life.

She's always got
a positive outlook.

I needed to hear some
encouraging words

and she was really, really
good about doing that.

I feel like we're winners,

just given the opportunity
to go around the world.

To experience a race
with my sister,

money can't buy that.

There's no way a million
dollars could ever buy that.
