Phil: Previously on "The Amazing Race"...

Let's go! Giddyap!

Five families set out from Quepos, Costa Rica,

where Tony Paolo struggled to stay afloat.

Something's wrong.

Dad, don't drown. Come on!

I can't.

But at the detour, he was singing another tune.

Mom and dad: ♪ Ay, yi yi yi...

[singing in Spanish]

Phil: Then the Linz family took the lead back to the United States...

and the Godlewskis were left behind.

We need to get on that flight.

Our luck just sucks.

Phil: But a lucky break...

I have a good feeling about this.

landed the sisters first in Phoenix, Arizona.

We're first.

The families raced supercarts at the road block.

Let's go, Wally!

Woo-hoo!

And the Weavers were nervous.

My husband was k*lled by a race car,

so I need someone to be very compassionate with me.

Phil: But Linda stepped up, so her children didn't have to.

Go, mama!

The Godlewskis kept their lead and arrived at the pit stop first...

You're team number one.

while the Bransens got lost...

Where are we going? Wait.

It's ridiculous.

I didn't want to be out there.

Phil: and finished last.

This is a non-elimination.

I need to take away all your possessions.

The next morning, families took flight.

Oh, my God!

Here we go. Ha ha ha!

Brian Paolo struggled with the task.

He did a loop straight up, like, a clown.

Then the Paolos lost direction.

Oh, my God. We're so far out of the way.

Along the way, the Weavers annoyed the Godlewskis...

[girls laugh]

They're throwing garbage.

That's not right.

Then angered the Linzes.

The people behind us want to know the history,

but they're gonna act like they don't.

Thank you. Nice, long history.

They were talking a whole lot of smack about this vehicle behind them.

Yeah, I bet they were.

Now we have a reason to yield them.

Phil: At a watery detour,

the Linz family took a strong lead.

Let her go down! We're done!

But a mistake put their lead in jeopardy.

Guys, there's no marked boats.

"Follow the marked path."

You got to be kidding me.

I mean, how stupid.

Then the Godlewskis put them in their wake...

[families yelling]

winning their second leg in a row.

You're team number one.

The Paolos fought to the finish...

Do you know what left is?

Phil: but ended up in last place.

I'm sorry to tell you, you have been eliminated from the race.

We're proud. We did good.

Phil: Now four families remain.

Who will be eliminated next?

Phil: This is Lake Powell, Arizona.

Formed by the flooding of the desert after the construction of a dam,

it's one of the largest manmade lakes in the world.

This is the eighth pit stop in "The Amazing Race."

Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg for a mandatory rest period.

Will the Weaver family's continued alienation

from the other teams affect their performance in the race?

And can the Linz family break their string

of second-place finishes and finally win a leg?

The Godlewski family, who were first to arrive...

[cheering]

will depart at : A.M.

"Drive yourselves to Mt. Valley Navajo Tribal Park, Utah."

Phil: The teams must now drive themselves

miles to Monument Valley, Utah.

This spectacular landscape, now a Navajo tribal park,

was made famous in movie westerns

by renowned director John Ford.

Once there, the teams must find an area called John Ford's point

to receive their next clue.

Ok. Let's go.

Come on!Get in!

Chrissie, relax.

Christine: Going into the race,

I thought that we were all going to be able to talk

and discuss and get to know each other more personally.

Was I maybe fooling myself? Possibly.

Let's take seconds and look at the map.

Utah's north.

We just got to find the main interstate.

Sharon: Chris just talks incessantly.

Michele: I think she has a quota every day--

words that she has to have come out of her mouth.

It's just like, you know, Shut up!

We got campers!

I think that's what we want, guys.

Awesome, man.Come on, girls!

What's the name of the place?Tribal Park, Utah.

"Find John Ford's Point and search for your next clue."

Let's go, let's go, let's go.

On these past couple of legs,

we've been expecting

to take the first place, but minor mistakes happen along the way

that prevented us from doing so.

Every time you fall short, you want it more and more.

And you try harder and harder. And you know what?

This is it. This leg, we have to get it.

Let's go, let's go.

Are those campers?Yup.

All right.

Another leg, another chance to come in first.

We need to go get gas.

Now we're going to have to take West.

Ok, West.

It's the girls.

They're going the other way on , guys.

All right. Well, I'm going to tell you,

you want to go east.On ?

Yes. Ok.

Maybe they need gas. That's why they're doing that.

"Drive yourselves to Monument Valley,

Navajo Tribal Park, Utah."

Come on! Let's go!Coming into this...

it's not like we were ignorant, like saying,

"Oh, yeah, everyone's gonna be our friends,"

but we didn't think it would be, like,

only us against everybody else.

The world we live in is obviously not loving and kind,

so I think we're just sticking out because we're not as, like, crude.

Mm-hmm.

Linda: It's just so against our beliefs

just to keep being treated so rudely.

But we can't let it bother us.

We have to pull a trailer?Yeah.

All right. Go, go, go!Be careful, Rebecca.

Rachel: All right, go.

We keep getting close to first.

It's just not happening for us.

Every time we say something, it turns on us.

"We're in first place." Buzz!

Oh, here we go.

This gas station is easy in, easy out, you guys. Perfect.

We're just going to have a fun day today

and do our best,

as we've done every day so far, and it's worked.

We're really not for sure what the other teams are doing,

because we're just sticking together as our team.

We don't want to know.

Yeah, we don't want to know.

Christine: Ok, we're good. We got it on the map.

We just got to do the highways.

That was the best gas station, and we got an awesome map.

Let's go.

We need to get East. Michelle, would you agree?

Chris, stop talking all the time. I don't understand.

We are going back the same way we came.

Ok. I'm just making sure.

I don't want you guys to blame me later.

"Find John Ford's Point and search for your next clue."

All right. Let's go. Let's go, team.

Wally: When you have more teams in the race,

you can play a little more cautiously,

because somebody else will make a mistake, and you'll still be in it.

But now we're getting down to teams that are very good,

and we're going to try to just be more aggressive.

Hurry up! Let's go!

Come on, come on.We need to catch up.

Utah, here we come!

It just said, uh...

Said what?

I don't know.

You guys think I should turn around?

Have you passed any roads?

No. Then I wouldn't.

Is that somebody behind us?

It's the desperate housewives.

Rachel: Is it? Yup.

We're in front of the desperate housewives right now.

That just makes me so happy.

[imitating sinister laughter]

There's another team.Dang it.

Oh, it's...Florida.

How is it Florida?

Ask these people down here.

Nick: How you guys doing? We're trying to get

to John Ford's Point.

Hang a left? Thanks, man.

Another mistake along the way made by Nick.

Damn it.

Monument Valley Visitor Center.

Is that where we want to go?No.

"Monument Valley Park."

Tricia: We have to turn around.Yes.

Turning's almost gonna be impossible, you guys.

You'll be all right. You're gonna do a wide turn.

I'll get out and help you.

Ok, wait.

You look ok. I think you'll be ok.

Rachel: You got to hurry.

Christine: Ok, go off, and then I'll direct you.

Slow, slow. Cut it.

Chrissie, I can't make a hard left like that.

Go slow. Crank it hard.

You're going the same way.

Ok, stop!

What did that do, Chris?

All right. You're straight back.

Now do a left. Chris!

Michelle: She's crazy.

I don't see what the problem is.

Rachel: Good job, Rebecca. Good job.

[cheering]

There you go. Good girl!

Come on, Mommy. Hurry.

Ok! Whoo!

Christine: Is she gonna back it up all the way?

We're gonna back it up. All right.

There's no way she's gonna be able to back it up.

Oh! They're coming, you guys!

See that little desperate housewife.

Go, go, go!

[Weavers cheering]Bye-bye!

We're going to have to turn around up there.

Trish, come on. Get in.

Nick: Who's this?

Megan: The pink ladies.

And where are they going?

Go forward. Just go hard left, Shar.

Tricia: Good job, girlfriend!

You're ok on the back.

Sharon: sh**t, guys. We could have been in first

if we'd turned that corner.

We believe there's a little bit of tension

between the Linzes and the Godlewskis against the Weavers.

That's all we can hope for, is that

their little thing that's going on will just benefit us.

We're neutral. Kind of like Switzerland.

Ha ha!

Right here.

John's Point.

Ok, go!

Look for the clue box.

I say we turn first.

Go up there. Take a left, Nick, and then reverse.

Christine: Go next to the Linzes.

No. I'm just gonna park right here.

Ok, girls.Come on, come on, come on.

All right.He's perfect.

All right. Let's go.

Mama, hurry up!

Grab the number, Rol.

We're one. Thank God.

Good work.

Phil: Teams must now choose two family members

to ride in a helicopter and be taken to the summit of Elephant Butte,

a tower of rock in the middle of Monument Valley.

The helicopter has room for two teams at a time.

And it's first come, first serve.

At the top of the butte, teams will find their next clue.

I'll go.

Come on, guys. We're doing great.

Come on, girls.Ok.

Megan: Let's go, let's go, let's go.

Come on! Run! Hey, boys.

Come on, girls.

There's the box. There it is.

We got it.Sharon, pull a number!

"Take a helicopter ride to the summit of Elephant butt."

Pull a number.

We are number two.

Get the clue. I don't think they grabbed a number.

Nick: You got to go take a number.

I don't know. Where are the numbers?

Right here.Damn it!

"Take a helicopter ride to the summit of Elephant Butte."

Go on, guys! Ok.

Go! This sucks.

Megan: Damn it.

This is so cool!

Lookit.

Whoo!Whee!

This is exciting!

There's a clue box.

Go, go, go. Hurry up. Hurry up!

Bec, come on!

Go, Rolly. Go!

Here we go. Here we go. Here we go.

Come on!Good job, Rolly.

Go! Go quickly!Come on.

Whoo! Whoo!

Man, we would have been here. Overshot it.

We overshot it by, like, feet, and I couldn't back the sucker up.

Dude, I want to get in front of that Florida team, man.

I would throw down that yield so quick.

Sharon: I know. Hopefully, it's coming.

Don't worry, guys. We're gonna take care of you.

We have a deal. Whoever gets there first.

Let's go, guys.Hurry up, Rolly!

Come on, come on, come on!

Right here, right here, right here.

"Make your way towards Moab, Utah."

"And find Gemini Bridges."

Phil: Teams must now travel miles

to Moab, Utah,

and find this geological rock formation,

known as Gemini Bridges, to receive their next clue.

Go. Run!

Ok, let's go. Ok!

This is the chopper!

Becca, I'll help you.

Come on, Mommy. Hurry.

Come on, Bec. Rebecca...

you're gonna back in to there.

She's watching you.

Don't stop, Bec. Don't stop.

Hurry up.Go ahead, Sharon.

I don't think I can turn around.

Don't let Florida win.

Wow. Perfect.

All set. Get in. Ok.

Good job, Bec.

Go, go, go, go, go!

They're ahead of us. Damn it.

Oh, my God.Sorry, guys.

Chopp-ah!

Let's go.

Whoo! Come on.

This is just awesome.

Pretty cool stuff.

All right. Let's go.Hurry up, bro.

All right! All right!

Ha ha ha!

I see them.

Hee hee hee! That was awesome!

"Make your way towards Moab, Utah."

All right, let's roll.Ok, here we go.

We're gonna come out of here and take a right.

[all cheering]

Now we're going to get you a helmet.

[laughter]

All right, guys, this is it.

"John Ford Point."

Let's go, guys. We're four.

"Take a helicopter ride."

Wally: Have fun.Don't waste time.

Let's hurry.

All right. Come on.

There's the clue box right there.

Let's go. Let's go.

We got it. Hurry up, Linds. Let's go.

Let's go, let's go. Let's go.

"Make your way towards Moab, Utah."

Let's go.Good job, guys.

We got a lot of catching up to do. Yeah.

I am not digging Utah right now.

Whoever says the world is getting overpopulated

needs to come to Utah.

It's like hundreds of thousands of miles

of nothing at all.

God must have spent a little less time on this state.

Tommy: That's the Mexican hat rock.

Megan: Oh, yeah, it looks like a little person

with a big, huge hat.

Pretty cool.Look, look, look.

It's the Weaver butts. They suck at driving.

They're letting their speed get down to, like,

on those hills.

They're just not very good with the trailer.

We got to pass them.

Do it, Nick!

Our car's faster!

[all cheering]

She's so pissed.

Just stay in front now.

Did you see what they did? What did they do?

They went...

I can't believe it's them. How is it them?

We're going . That's how they're b*ating us.

Megan: Rebecca did not look happy.

They don't know how to drive that car. That's the problem.

They are so pissed off.

The wicked witch of the East and her three little monkeys.

"Those Linzes are just nasty!"

[laughter]

Say bye-bye.

I wonder what we could be doing at Gemini?

We're up for anything.

We're always up for anything.

We like things that are more risky or adventurous.

I could go for something tranquil and boring.

Chris: We're doing great, girls.

Megan: Gemini Bridges to the left. Oh, yeah!

That's good. Let's go. Come on, come on. Come on.

Right on! Come on.

Detour.

"Drive down or ride down."

Phil: A detour is a choice between two tasks,

each with its own pros and cons.

In this detour, teams have to choose between ride down or drop down.

In ride down, teams choose bikes and travel

a six-mile course into Bull Canyon to find their next clue.

In drop down, teams must complete a two-stage rappel

feet down into Bull Canyon.

Once they're at the bottom,

they'll have to follow this marked path to find their next clue.

Oh, baby, drop down. Drop!

Let's go! Yeah!

Nick: Six miles is a long way.

Tommy: Yeah, there's no way we're biking.

Whoo!

We're on the hunt! Whoo!

[Megan laughs]

Megan: Oh, my God. I'm not even gonna go look over there.

Let's do it!

The King Kong Bundini.

This is sick.

All right, Bund. Don't look down.

Do it, Bund.

Who dat?

If we lose a teammate, it's gonna be him.

God rest his soul.

And we'll turn around and do the bikes. Ha ha!

Yeah, down.

I've never even heard one thing about Utah.

I have. What?

Mormons live here.

For real? Uh-huh.

Utah is the Mormon state.

Ok, wait. "Gemini Bridges."

Here we are. Good job.

Let's go.

Go, Rolly. Go, boy!

Whoo!

"Drop down or ride down"?

Have you guys ever rappelled, Rachel?

You're not going to be able to do that.

feet up, you guys.

I don't want to do that. That'd be scary.

Let's just go do the riding.

Riding will be simple.

We can do this, baby. We got this.

Ok, we're ready, guys.

Whoo! Come on, guys.

Let's roll.This is fun, guys.

This is fun.

And I always wanted

to go bike riding with you guys.

Go, Bund! You got it!

Yeah, Meg.

Oh, my God.

Come on,Meg.

You guys, this is awesome.

Yeah, buddy.

That was awesome.

We can do this.

This is the dumbest thing I've done in my life.

You're fine.

Come on, Bec. You're so slow.

It's hard.

sh**t!

I hate these bikes, man.

Come on, Bec.

You're fine, Bec.

Let me see your gear.

You're way too far down. Push your thumb in.

But you got to be pedaling when you do it.

Come on. Jeez.

I'm sorry.

Whoo!

There you go, Megs. Nice, nice.

Yeah! Yeah!

Yeah, buddy! Yeah, Alex!

Nice job, Alex.

Come on, Nick.

Whoo-hoo!

Let's go. Come on, Becky.

Starting to lose my cool.

Come on, Becky.

There's a sign coming up.After the dirt road.

Gemini Bridges! Look.

Good job, guys. Let's go.Come on, come on.

Slow down, guys.Wait for Wally!

Drop down or ride down.Rappel. I hate bikes.

Drop down. Is that ok, Dad? Can you do it?

I hope so.

Let's go.

There we go. Ha ha!

Yeah, Nicky!

Go fast!

Nice job, Nick!

Oh, this is sick!

Whoo!

Guys, over here.

Here's another team.

So let's go.

Megan: Nick, you better go fast.

Nice job, Nick. Straight down.

Yeah, Nick.There you go, bro.

Wasn't that fun?Rappelling kicks ass.

Let's go.

Let's go, Beth. You got it, baby.

I have a fear of heights,

but they really want the experience,

and I want them to have the experience.

Whoo-hoo.

Come on, Beth!

Grab the clue.

Yeah!

"Drive yourselves to Green River State Park."

Phil: Teams must now travel miles to Green River State Park

in Utah, where they'll be spending the night.

Their departure time the next morning

will depend on the order in which they arrive.

Nice. Come on.

Move it or lose it.Let's go.

All right. Green River State Park.

The sooner we get in...

The sooner we'll leave.

Hurry up.

I hate Utah!

I hate it with a passion!

If anyone says, "I'm from Utah,"

I'm going to say, "I am so sorry."

Come on, Wally!

Come on, man.

Come on, Beth!

[Beth exhales]

Yay.

Come on, Dad!

Whoo!

This is it.

There's three of them here, you guys. We're last.

Phil: Due to a production error involving the camera equipment,

the Godlewskis' car battery was drained.

A replacement vehicle was provided, but they have fallen into last place.

There's the clue box, girls.

Let's see what it says.

Drop down or ride down?

All: Drop down.

Come on, girls.Hee hee!

Come on, Lauren!

There's another team on us.

Oh, they're still there?

Come on, girls. We're still in this.

Hurry up! Hurry up!

Good job, Dad.Keep going, Dad.

Woo-hoo! Good to be over.

Keep going, Lauren!

Good job, Lauren. Just straight down.

Come on, come on, come on!

I've always wanted to do this.

Go!

Good job, Lauren!

Keep going, Lauren.

Whee!Whoo!

Good job, Laur!

Come on, Michelle!

Oh, my God.

Let's go, Lindsay!Let's go!

I see the box.Come on, Becky.

Go, Rolly.

Come on, Bec.

"Drive yourselves"...

"To Green River State Park." Hurry up.

Go right, Becky. Dear Lord, please help her to be safe.

All right, Lindsay!

Go, Lindsay!

Ooh! That was cool.

We have to hurry.

Oh, God! Ohh!

You mean with her, who just fell

on the first little cliff area?

No, I don't think so.

Hurry up, Linds.

Good job.

Let's go, you guys.

Good job, guys.

Come on, Chris!

Come on, Trish!

Come on!

Ok.

Giddyap. This way.

"Drive yourselves to Green River State Park,

where you'll be spending the night."

Good job, guys.

Yeah, that was good hustle.

Ooh! Whoo!

Whoo!

Come on, Trishie!

Just keep feeding the rope in. Whoo!

Whoo!

You've got it.You've got it.

Picking up speed, looking good.

There you go, Trish.Yeah!

Hello!

Whoo!

All right, Shar!

You're doing it.

Come on, Shar!

Put that booty into it.Whoo!

All right!

Yeah! Whoo!Come on, let's go!

You guys, we got to get out of here. Hurry up, hurry up.

State park to the left.

Welcome, guys. You're the first team.

All right! Numero uno?

Thank you.

It's the last clue, you guys.

"Drive yourselves to Green River State Park."

Go from there and see what happens.

We're here.Ok, go kind of slow.

Hello.

Ok, thank you.

Very good, darling. Very good, everyone.

Welcome to Green River State Park.

Thanks. Thanks.

You guys are out of here at : tomorrow morning.

Ok. Thank you.

Thank you. Thanks.

This is it.

Whoo! Hello.

Ok.

It's no fun being in the back of the pack,

but we just need to stay optimistic.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

This is Wimbledon .

Nobody even speaks to us.

They're just immature.Yeah.

I mean, I don't really understand it.

No one wants us here.

We've all come to the conclusion that we're on our own.

We're not gonna be rude, but we're just gonna be

our team and work.

We've tried so many times.

We go and talk to the people,

but they just don't reciprocate.

It's very, very hard.

I hate this.

Let's go. Let's do this.

"Drive to Heber City, Utah. Find Bart."

Phil: Teams must now travel miles to Heber City, Utah,

and find Bart.

What teams don't realize

is that rather than searching for a human,

they are looking for an animal--

Bart the bear, an , pound trained grizzly

who's waiting to give them their next clue.

Let's go.

Is there a specific place where we have to go?

Little Sweden Road.

"Drive to Heber City, Utah,

find Bart, and receive your next clue."

Come on, Rebecca.

Wow, look at that on the right, guys!

Oh, my gosh! That's cool.

I'd love to be fly-fishing right now.

Look a bit to the left.

"Find Bart to receive your next clue." Let's go.

-minute difference between teams.

Anything could happen.

"Find Bart to receive your next clue."

Hurry up. Get in, get in.

Find Bart?

"You may not run or yell

at any time while on this property."

Yell or run.Cool. Sounds like fun.

That's gonna be two big, bad things for us.

Keep your eyes peeled for Little Sweden Road.

Take a right here and ask this lady.

That's a dude. [honks horn]

Excuse me. I'm trying to find Little Sweden Road.

Great. Thank you.Come on, Alex.

Let's go. Come on.

We're doing good. Doing real good.

This is Heber City.

Rebecca: Ok, where do I go?

Pull over right here, Rebecca.

Ask this man if he knows.Go.

Go straight out of town.

Straight out this road.

All the way to the T-intersection is Little Sweden.

Thank you so much.

Look for the marked parking areas.

Go right.Right, right.

We need to find Bart.Let's go.

Hi. Is this Bart's?

Go just to the right of the house.

Great. Thank you.Thanks a lot.

Megan: Oh, my God, that's a bear.

[laughter]

Oh, wow.

Hey, big Bart.

Thank you, sir.Thank you.

[imitating yogi bear] Huh, Boo-Boo. How 'bout a picnic basket?

You're a good boy.

"Make your way to Utah Olympic Park and find your next clue."

Phil: Teams must now travel miles to Park City, Utah,

and find Utah Olympic Park,

home to the winter Olympic games.

Once there, they'll need to search for their next clue.

"Caution. There is a yield ahead."

Thanks, Bart!Thanks, Bart!

Let's go, let's go, let's go.

[high-pitched voice] Caution! Yield ahead!

That was awesome. That was so cool.

Which way do we want to go?

Here it is. You want to go .

There they are, there they are.

Quick! Duck, duck. Duck?!

Look right there.

[laughter] Oh, they're looking.

Peel your eyes, girl. It's about a mile.

This is U.S. right here.

So that means no mistakes to the yield.

I'm looking for Little Sweden Road.

I think we need to ask people.

There's a gas station right up here.

We're looking for Little Sweden Road.

And we'll run right into Bart?

Right. Ok.

Right there. Parking.Oh, yes!

Just stop right here. Go. Get out.

We're looking for Bart.

[laughter]

Oh, my gosh!

Oh, my gosh!

That is so cool!

Good boy!

There you go!

Bye, Bart!

"Make your way to Utah Olympic Park and find your next clue.

Caution. Yield ahead."

Oh, gosh. We got to hurry, guys. This is bad.

Ok, go, go, go.

Oh, my gosh.

We got to get there before the yield.

Another team's coming.

I see people up there.Who is that?

It's Florida.We got to hurry.

We need to find Utah Olympic Park.

You guys, if we could be the first ones to get this yield,

that's what we want.

So we're gonna take north, right?

That would be too high up.

All right, then we can take ?

Are we sure that's right?Yeah.

Rebecca, is gonna be on your right.

You're gonna need to take it.

It's a dinky little road.I know.

Oh, my goodness. Bikers, get out of the road.

You wish you were Lance Armstrong.

Wally: Looks like this is it.

Oh, yi, yi, yi.

Oh, my gosh.

Hi.

Thank you.

Thank you very much.

"Make your way to Utah Olympic Park."

What a cute bear!

Where are we going to?Olympic Park.

We're going north on .

Yeah, up to the left.

Oh, Sharon, this is it.

On the left. Parking.

No running, no screaming.

Come on, come on. This is it.

Oh-ho!

[laughter]

Oh, hi, Bart!

Here you are. Thank you.

"Make your way to Utah Olympic Park and find your next clue."

Look at him, you guys!

Ohh! Let's go.

We need to go North.

I wonder if anyone was going back to the interstate.

Whatever, Chris. Why are you doing this?

I'm just wondering.

Who cares? Don't worry about anybody else.

All right, all right, all right!

Utah Olympic Park, left. Yeah.

That is so bad-ass!

We're on , but it's turned into a scenic loop.

It didn't say it was a scenic route.

I know it didn't.Oh, my gosh.

We should have just taken the highway back to the interstate.

Yeah, we should have, but we didn't.

Now we have to go sit through a yield.

Let's go. Run. There's the little marker.

Here we go. Yield.

Phil: This is the second of only two yields

on the entire race.

At this specific spot,

one team can force any other team to yield,

which is to stop racing for a predetermined amount of time.

Teams can use their yield power only once during the race,

so they need to decide when it's in their best interest to use it.

Any team that's being forced to yield

must turn this hourglass over

and wait for the sand to run out

before they continue on.

We will be yielding the Weaver family.

Because they're behind us, and it'll give us a good separation.

Hopefully get our first-place spot, like we've been wanting.

Let's go.

Clue. Road block.

"Who's ready to jump into the unknown?" I am!

Phil: A road block is a task that only one person may perform.

In this roadblock, that person has to put on skis,

ride a -foot ramp,

and do a ski jump into a pool of water.

After their splashdown, they'll receive their next clue.

Hurry up, Nick.

Dude, that is so awesome.

I just hope Nick doesn't try to act like a bozo

and do some crazy-ass triple deeker.

He's the guy that likes to show off and do crazy tricks.

Utah Olympic Park.

Yay.

There's parking up here.

Looks like the Bransens just got here.

There's the box!

Yeah, girls! Yeah, girls!

Whee!

What happened to Florida?

Oh, my God. This is awesome.

Road block.Do you want to do it, Lindsay?

Yeah, I'll do it. Whoo-hoo!

All right, don't blink.

All right, Nick!

Whoo!

[laughter]

How does that face feel?

Job well done.All right.

So we got a clue here.

You can go share it with the rest of your team.

Drive yourselves to the next pit stop.

Phil: Teams must now drive themselves miles

to the center of Salt Lake City and make their way here,

the City Library.

Featuring one of the most beautiful views of the city,

this building is the pit stop for this leg of the race.

The last family to check in here may be eliminated.

Woo-hoo. Pit stop.

All right, come on.Let's go.

This is Olympic Park. There's parking right here.

Do you see campers?Hello? Two of them.

Let's see who's here.

The Florida team's here. There they are.

Oh, my God. It's the Godlewskis!

Yeah! We yielded 'em!

And they're still not here.

[cheering]

All right. The Linzes just told us that they yielded...

the Florida team.

You guys ready?

Yeah, let's roll, dude.Yeah, let's do it.

We just need to find our way to this library, dude.

Let's go, let's go.

The sisters are here.

This is what I wanted to see.

Oh, awesome!

Whoo-hoo! Hi, ladies.

Road block. "Who's ready to jump into the unknown?"

I'll do it!Ok, Chrissie!

Go, go, go!Ok, I'm going, I'm going.

Go, Linds!

Take care of my daughter.

Don't listen to that guy.

All right. [giggles]

She's getting hit on by a boy up there.

Here I go.

You got it.

Yeah!

Whoo!

Whoo!

Good job, Linds!

Here's your clue.

"Drive yourselves to the next pit stop."

Go fast.

Right over there. Ok.

Make us proud, Chris!

Come on, come on.

Good job, guys.

Be proud.

Whoo!

[cheering]

Got your clue here.

Come on, come on, come on!

"Drive yourself to the next pit stop."

Let's get out of here before Florida comes.

Come on, come on.

Ok, where are we going, girls?

Take West.

Let's hope it's elimination.

This is so stupid.

I know it is.

This is such a waste of time.

Oh, my God!

You guys, please don't lose it.

Just accept it, ok?

We'll be last today, and we're done.

We're done. We'll be eliminated.

I can't believe this.

We're on , but it's turned into a scenic loop.

Just accept it, ok?

We'll be last today.

We'll be eliminated.

It's ok.

People who win will probably spend it on

a new nose and bigger boobs.

Well, you know what, you guys?

Let's just enjoy it. Please?

Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.

And we'll take what comes.

I can't believe that team didn't even show up.

I know.

Maybe one of them got eaten by the bear.

Maybe they ran around the corner too quick.Yeah.

Vrroom!

Wonder what the Weavers did?

Yeah. It better be.

I can't believe we're still here.

Believe it, honey.

It's amazing.

I'm kind of disappointed

about not seeing Florida's reaction.

They're gonna be like,

"They could have yielded anyone."

Whenever you get sad, you just have to eat ice cream.

It reinvigorates you and rejuvenates you.

It's going to be us.

Run! Hurry, hurry! Come on!

Run!

Where's the yield?There it is.

[all cheering]

Ok. Let's eat, guys.

Those idiots. We're good.

We knew the yield was coming because two teams

have just been really rude, down right rude.Yeah.

And it's pretty much made it frustrating for us.

I don't get it. Most people like us.

I've never been in a situation

where we've been unliked in my life.

This could take us a while.

I'm going to start asking.

Excuse me, ma'am?

Do you know where the City Library is?

Ok, thank you.Let's go.

We definitely need to hurry.

We found the library on the map.

Hopefully we'll be able to zoom in on it.

We got to look for the flags.

It's going to be close.

It's one block down. So this is good stuff.

This is it. This is it. Let's go!

We need to go to the rooftop. It's over here.

Come on. We're almost there, dude.

Oh, my God.

I'm coming, Phil!

Let's go.

Yeah!

Mm-hmm!

Welcome to Salt Lake City.

Thank you very much. Thank you.

Linz family... you're team number one.

[all cheering]

Finally!

Yes! About time!

No prizes. Just kidding.

I have some good news for you.

As the winners of this leg of the race,

you have won a trip for four from Travelocity

to Jackson Hole, Wyoming...

[all cheering]

Staying at the Teton Mountain Lodge,

just minutes from Grand Teton National Park

and Jackson Hole's world-famous ski slopes.

That's perfect!Thank you.

Isn't that nice?That's awesome!

It's about time that happened.

And in addition to that, Tommy,

we've got a beautiful woman here welcoming you.

Is the Linz family feeling like they can go all the way now?

Oh, you know it.Absolutely.

No one's getting in front of us now.

There's the marker.

Get ready to run.I see Phil.

Come on, Dad!

Bransen family...

you're team number two.

[all cheering]

Right there on the right.Motor home. See them?

We need to go to the roof up there.

Let's go! I see Phil.

Whoo!

Whoo-hoo!

Godlewski family...Yes?

you're team number three.

[all cheering]

Do you know what happened with the yield and everything today?

Yeah, we saw the picture.

Were you happy about that? Very happy.

How are you feeling about the positive one over here?

Are you guys all cool with that now?

Whatever.Oh, whatever!

She hasn't gotten to her quota of words yet.

Chris: I've actually backed off of that.

I mean, I really have.

I do like to talk, but I want us all to win the million dollars.

If my sisters say I'm being a little bit too chatty,

I'm gonna back off.

This is a race, and I can control my talking.

, , ... Let's go!

It's a road block.

Go, Rolly. Go. Get it and go.

Say a prayer, Rolly! Say a prayer.

[Weavers cheering]

Whoo! Go, Rolly!

"Drive yourselves to the next pit stop."

I just want to be eliminated.

I do, too.

I really do, too.

City Library. Here it is.

This is like the worst day ever!

Welcome to Salt Lake City.

Thank you.

Weaver family...

you're the last team to arrive.

Really? No!

Surprise, surprise.

I'm pleased to tell you, however,

this is a non-elimination leg

and you're still in the race.

Yeah.

I would have to say that that is the most unenthusiastic reaction

to a non-elimination in the history of "The Amazing Race."

Nobody likes us anymore, Phil.

It's like us against them.

Let me just say that I do need to take all your money

away from you.

And you will not be receiving any money

at the start of the next leg of the race

and you have to start with zero dollars to your name.

Now, in addition, I have to take all your possessions,

everything except the clothes on your back and your passports.

I don't see a real hunger in your eyes to win this thing.

We've had a hunger. We've come in first,

we've come in second. We've come in third.

But you came in today, it's almost like

you're ready to just pack it in.

We love the race, but I don't know if I'm up...

for the personal stuff.Yes.

And I don't know if it's worth it emotionally.

To be the outsiders to begin with and now being

the underdog outsiders.

Are you aware that other teams have literally

come from last place and won "The Amazing Race"?

You're a strong team, and you've just got to keep

with that strength and go all the way to the end.

Yeah, you're right.

I was really ready to be eliminated,

but when Phil gave us words of encouragement,

it just gave me life. We can come back from this.

Because being yielded twice and being lost on a mountain

and then coming back from it, that would be amazing.

We're not ready to stop now. We're ready to win.

Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Phil: On the next episode of "The Amazing Race"...

the Bransens and the Linzes...

Ramming speed.

have a mid-air collision.

[gasps] Oh, my God.

They are freaked.

Phil: And the Weavers confront the Linzes.

Are you sorry you wasted your yield?

Are you sorry? No.

You will be!
