We can pass her.

- [Victor] Come on, Tammy.

That was like three steps.

- Cara, please pick up the pig.

- That way.

That way.

- Hold it. [Tammy grunts]

You've got it, Tammy.

We're so there.

- I'm sorry, I can't hold it.

- You were doing so great.

Do not doubt yourself.

[Tammy screams]

Go, come on!

You got it, you got it.

Lift it up high.

Lift it up high, let's go.

You are so much better than you think.

- Cara, seriously!

Hold the front bit.

Hold the front.

[soft ukulele music]

- Ow.

Ow.

- [Luke] Mama.

- [Margie] Yeah.

[Luke grunts]

- [Margie] That pig was heavy.

Something goes under it.

- [Cara] I'm sorry!

- Oh, my God.

- [Cara] Just keep going.

- I can't go because I can't hold the pig by myself.

[Tammy grunts]

- [Victor] Always give me three more steps

than you think you can.

Come on, it's right there, you can drop it.

Right there, you can drop it.

It's so close.

Do you wanna be done?

- Yes, Victor, I'm trying! - Okay.

I know you're trying, come on.

- You're freaking k*lling me.

Get on the other side.

We can't stand here.

Please, Cara.

Tammy keeps stopping.

We are stronger than her, come on!

We are stronger than her!

Cara.

I don't understand what the problem is.

- I can't.

- Get up, get up!

- I'm trying to hold the pig from getting water in.

It's like my hands won't hold it.

- This is how you lose a million dollars.

[laid back music]

We can't stand here.

Get on the other side.

Whenever you're ready.

Move him up this way.

Please pick up the pig and go.

Come on, please!

- [Victor] You got it?

[Tammy grunts]

You got in, come on.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.

- We have to b*at them.

- [Cara] I see the luau.

- [Jaime] Drop it at the tree, please.

- [Margie] Go, go, go, go, go.

- I can't.

- Power through on this one.

Five, six, seven.

Go, go, go, go, go!

It's right here!

To the rocks, to the rocks!

Right here, right here, come on!

Okay, lift it up, lift it up, lift it up, lift it up.

Okay, done!

Good job.

- [Jaime] Of course we have the one all the way at the end.

We have to lay this underneath, come on.

- Over here.

Get that in there.

- [Tammy] It looks like the top of it's buried.

See that?

- Yeah.

- [Jaime] Cara.

- Yeah, yeah.

- [Jaime] Lay them all one way.

- Okay.

- Okay?

- Okay.

- [Margie] Okay, okay, okay.

- Keep your swimsuit on.

You're headed for the water.

- [Phil] Teams must now make their way

to the beach at McGregor Point

Once there, they'll take a one mile ride

on one of these watercrafts to a marked buoy field

where they'll have to search among buoys

to find their next clue.

- Okay, check.

Okay.

- [Jaime] Come on, Cara.

We can make up time.

Come on.

- [Cara] I am.

- [Victor] I think we messed up.

- They're doing it wrong. [laughs]

- We went back and looked at the pig

and we suddenly realized,

wait a second, okay, that's different.

We ended up putting these palm leaves on top of the pig

that actually had nothing to do with the setup whatsoever.

It probably makes it taste gross.

- Oh God.

- [Driver] Looks like we are doing good.

- Doing great, thank you.

That pig was heavy.

We did good.

- [Victor] Good job, Tammy.

Go, go, go, go, go.

- Good job.

- Okay, now?

They took all the palm fronds out completely.

Just try that.

That's the only thing left they can think.

We have to pull out the big ones.

- [Victor] Come on, Tammy.

We're doing very well.

We'll be team number two.

- Oh, Cara, please, all the way.

- Complete.

- Thank you.

- Good job.

- Go by taxi to the beach at McGregor Point.

Come on, Tammy.

- [Tammy] That was gross.

- [Victor] Go, run, run, run.

Run, run, run.

- [Jaime] Are we good.

- [Guide] Yeah, you're done.

- We're done?

Awesome, thank you.

We're done.

Travel by taxi to the b*at at McGregor Point.

Woo!

- [Jaime] Come on, quickly.

[suspenseful music]

- Oh, there it is.

That's the sign right there.

This is it, McGregor Point.

Can you park here?

Let us-- - Yeah, yeah.

- [Margie] Can you let us out here?

- [Driver] Okay.

- [Margie] Come on, come on, come on.

Come over here.

- [Luke] Mama.

- [Margie] Go, go, go, go.

- [Luke] Go, go, go.

Ow.

- [Margie] Come on!

- [Guide] You drive?

- [Margie] Yeah.

- [Guide] Okay.

- [Margie] Careful.

- [Luke] Mom, mom, mom.

- [Guide] This is a safety line here.

Keep it on at all times.

- [Margie] Okay.

- [Luke] Go.

- Whoa, hold on.

Hold on to me.

Hold on.

- [Luke] Mom.

- No, no, no.

It's gotta be a lot of 'em.

- Go!

Go!

Go!

- [Margie] Woo-hoo!

Yeehaw!

- [Luke] Go!

- There it is.

Hold on.

- [Luke] Go, that way, go, go.

- I know, I know!

- [Luke] Mom.

Mama.

Go.

Go.

Mom, mom.

- I'm,

don't yell at me!

- [Luke] Go!

Here.

No.

- [Margie] This is hard.

- [Tammy] This is the parking lot right here.

- [Victor] Yeah, parking lot right there.

- Turn left.

Okay, just wait for us here.

- Oh, it's right up there.

Perfect.

- Okay, you park here, okay?

Run it.

- [Cara] Come on, come on.

- [Margie] Oh, this way.

Whoa, whoa.

- Mama, go, go.

Go.

Mama, go, go.

- Are you ready?

- [Tammy] Yeah.

- Okay.

You got it?

Hold on.

Jaime and Cara right behind us.

- [Jaime] Come on, Cara.

- [Margie] Yes, yes, yes.

- [Luke] Mama, go, go.

Mama, go.

- I'm going to go.

Just relax!

- [Victor] This is fun.

- [Tammy] Don't go too too fast.

- Uh, we're trying to race here, Tammy.

[Tammy laughs]

- [Jaime] We're going, Cara.

- [Cara] Yeah, don't worry.

I won't fall off.

Good job, Jaime.

- [Luke] Go, go, go!

- Woo!

- [Tammy] Hey!

Careful, Victor.

- [Cara] We're making up so time, look.

That's Margie and Luke.

We're not far behind at all

- [Luke] Hi.

- [Margie] Keep it up, woo!

- [Cara] Stay right.

It's over there.

- Please, God, help us find it.

Ah!

- [Tammy] Okay, what are you doing?

- [Victor] I'm drifting.

- [Cara] That's Victor and Tammy right there.

We've caught up.

- [Tammy] We just need to find the clue.

- They're down below.

We have to lift them up and look.

No, no, that's not it.

- Woo! - Whoa.

- Let's go.

Thank you.

Oh my God, that was so awesome!

Hana Highway and Kapalua equals Maui surfboard fun.

[Luke gasps]

- [Phil] Teams must now race along the Hana Highway

and find this fence made of surfboards

where their next clue awaits.

- [Margie] Okay, let's go.

- [Luke] Go, go, go.

- Taxi, taxi.

We have to go on Hana Highway.

- [Driver] I know Hana Highway.

- [Margie] Okay, let's go.

- It's totally rocking.

- [Tammy] You've gotta let me,

let me do it. - Okay, go for it.

- [Tammy] No, I think it's better

if you steer and let me do it, okay?

- [Cara] Yes, yes.

- Grab it, grab it, okay

- [Cara] Good job, Jaime.

- Oh, they've already got theirs.

Oh!

- [Jaime] Hang on.

Stay on the outside of the dark buoys.

You did great.

- [Tammy] Oh, wait!

Do you wanna get it?

- [Victor] Yeah, let me get it.

Here it goes.

- Should we read the clue now?

No, we read it back there.

Okay, let's go.

- [Victor] I think we made up

a little bit of time on Margie and Luke.

- [Tammy] But so did Margie and Cara.

Now we have to think about both of 'em.

- I know.

- [Cara] We're gonna win a million dollars today, Jaime.

- Yeah.

We just gotta be really careful every step of the way.

Woo, ah!

- [Tammy] Woo!

Good job, Victor.

- [Cara] Slow down, slow down.

- [Jaime] Okay, jump.

- We have to swim back to shore while we park the vehicle.

- Kapalua, Maui surfboard fence.

Come on.

We have to b*at them.

Come on!

- Maui surfboard fence.

- [Tammy] Okay, go, go, go.

- [Victor] Let's go, let's go, let's go.

- Maui surfboard fence.

Okay, very fast because we're not that far behind

the other team that left, maybe minutes.

- [Victor] Okay, we have to b*at them.

- Margie and Luke were still up in front

and we're just behind Jaime and Cara.

- [Luke] [gasps] Mama, mama.

- There it is, there it is.

- [Luke] Go, go, go.

- [Margie] Right there, right there.

That's where you have to park.

There's the clue box right there.

- [Luke] Go, go, go.

- Roadblock.

All right, here we go.

- In this Roadblock, one person has to overcome

three weeks' worth of physical and mental fatigue

and remember everything they've done on the race.

Teams must search through a pile

of more than vintage surfboards to find

that have pictures related to things they've encountered

along the prior legs of the race.

Most of the surfboards, however,

have incorrect pictures on them.

Once teams have found their surfboards,

they must create a surfboard fence by standing the boards up

in the correct order according to their pictures.

When they've succeeded, they'll receive their next clue.

- Luke's gonna do the Roadblock.

Down here.

This is hard.

We decided Luke would do the test

because he has a fabulous memory and he is so remembering

everything that we've done along the way and reviewing it.

And I think he'll do fabulous at this

if he can dig through the surfboards

and keep his bathing suit up.

I was very confident going into the Roadblock.

I knew where we went.

I knew everything we did.

Hello.

I think we came in third.

- Oh.

- [Margie] Oh, good, he found one.

Good, good, good, good.

- Mama.

- Yes, he found another one.

Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.

Hydroelectric dam.

Good job, Luke.

He's doing really well.

Luke has been preparing for this.

He's been reviewing where we've been.

He's been, you know, thinking about what tasks we've done

at what legs of the race.

He should ace this.

- Four, five, six.

- Okay, let's go!

Let's go!

[suspenseful music]

- Are you sure we're in the right place?

Maui surfboard fence.

Where is it?

Is that it?

- I would say definitely the surfboard fence right there.

- [Jaime] This is not a Hawaiian fence.

That's not a fence.

That's not it.

That's not it.

Where's Kapakalua? - Where's the fence?

- Now we're stuck behind a slow car.

There's no one in front of them.

He's k*lling us.

- [Margie] Good, good, good, good.

- Hello.

- Good job, Luke.

Way to go!

Good, good, good, good.

[upbeat flute music]

[Margie laughs]

Good job, Luke, woo!

[Luke gasps]

Oh, good, he found another one.

Go, go, go, go, go.

- [Luke] Go, go, go.

- [Margie] I'm getting very nervous

that another team will catch up.

- [Jaime] It never ceases to amaze me.

Every taxi driver we get never knows where they're going.

- [Driver] Auntie, where is Kaupakalua?

- [Auntie] Where is what?

- Kaupakalua.

- [Auntie] Kapakalua?

- [Driver] Kaupakalua.

- [Victor] Can we pass him?

- [Tammy] You can't pass cars here.

- [Victor] Single-handedly trying to k*ll us.

- He really doesn't care.

- No.

- [Auntie] I have no idea where that is.

- [Jaime] Can we please get a move on?

- [Driver] Call to base, I need help.

- [Auntie] You need to tell your people

that I am not their personal concierge

and I don't have the time

to be looking for this place for them.

- [sighs] Damn it.

It's mistakes like this is what will make us lose the game.

[suspenseful music]

Can we please get a move on?

It only clearly goes two ways.

We're either going front or we're going back.

Which is it?

Can we call the police department?

Because the police department has to know the street names.

Thank you.

I'm sorry to bother you, but we are in a very important race

and I must find Kapakalua.

- [Operator] Go to mile marker .

- Okay, can you please tell this driver?

Hold on one second.

- Hello?

- She's like, "Oh yeah, you follow the mile marker ."

- Mile .

We have to put gas.

I need to put gas.

I'm sorry.

- We're in a race for a million dollars

and we have to stop and get gas?

- I have to put gas.

- We cannot, we don't have time to stop for all this.

[suspenseful music]

- Oh good, he found another one.

Yes!

Two, four, six, seven.

[bird cries]

Four more.

Way to go!

Go, go, go, go, go.

- We need things now to be difficult,

not physically, but mentally difficult.

- [Margie] Eight, eight, eight.

Three more.

- Go, mom.

- [Margie] Go, go, go, go, go.

- We need Margie and Luke to slip up somewhere

because they are freaking good.

- [Cara] They're so good.

- [Jaime] They are so good.

- Park right there.

Oh, Margie and Luke are still here, Tammy.

Roadblock.

Who's ready to build something from memory?

I'll do it. - You do it.

- [Victor] For that has pictures.

- [Tammy] Do it, Victor.

Hey, Margie.

- [Margie] Hey.

- Oh, that hurt like hell, that stupid picnic.

Victor, Jaime and Cara have not even been here.

Come on.

- Okay.

- When Victor got there,

I had to focus and try to finish before him.

I knew Victor would finish fast.

He's very smart.

- Luke clearly has a headstart, a long headstart over us.

We're just trying to catch up.

Oh, here's one.

- Oh.

- [Contestant] You guys, we're in Germany.

- [Contestant] Look how gorgeous that is.

- [Contestant] I know.

- So cool.

- Okay, China.

- [Margie] Two more, two more!

- [Tammy] Come on, Victor!

This is exactly what you wanted.

- [Victor] St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers.

- This is so nerve wracking.

- I know, it's really...

- Oh, my pants keep falling off.

- Victor, take your shorts off if you need to.

Luke did.

- [Victor] [sighs] So annoying.

- [Tammy] Victor, just take your pants off.

There you go.

- [Tammy and Margie] Woo-hoo!

[Tammy laughs]

- I have my Speedo on still.

- Hurry up!

- Oh.

- [Margie] One more, one more!

Go, go, go!

Come on, Luke, one more!

Go, go, go!

- Okay, we need to get this gas very, very fast, okay?

Just a little bit.

Unbelievable.

The one taxi we would pick would need gas

in the middle of a million-dollar freaking race.

That was good.

That was very fast.

- [Cara] Okay, go, Reynold, woo!

- That was very fast, thank you.

I'm sorry that I yelled, Reynold,

but this is very stressful for me.

- It's worth a million, literally.

- [Cara and Jaime] A million dollars.

- [Victor] There's a lot of stuff there that didn't belong.

I just had to like dig through all the surfboards

as quickly as I could.

- Good job, Luke.

I think he's doing well.

He just can't find that last one.

And to tell you the truth,

I can't even remember what the last leg, what we did

so I wouldn't be able to do this.

- Oh, this is one, definitely.

It was the foot with the reflexology.

- Ooh.

[suspenseful music]

- Sorry.

- No.

- Good job, Victor.

- [Victor] This is one, a picture of scorpions on skewers.

- [Tammy] That's just one of 'em, huh.

- Mm-hmm.

- [Tammy] How is that?

- Hmm.

- Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry!

Just keep it up.

Way to go!

- Be it, be it, be it, be it, be it.

- Sorry, that's not it.

- That's not it.

- I don't understand.

- [Jaime] Park where those taxis are,

and both taxis are here, Cara.

- [Cara] I told you.

- Ugh, okay, it's okay.

Come on, Cara.

- Oh, there they are.

- Who's ready to build something from memory?

- You have a better memory.

You do have a better memory.

Jaime, you've got this.

- [Jaime] Okay.

- [Cara] Let's go.

- [Margie] Sweetie.

[suspenseful music]

[Luke grunts]

- I didn't know what to do.

I ran back and forth.

I didn't know, I didn't know.

- You ca do this, Jaim.

Just pull 'em all aside and then line 'em up.

- Oh my God.

These don't look like anything we've encountered, Cara.

- [Tammy] This is perfect, Victor.

You're doing great.

- Let's see.

I'm trying to remember.

The Krasnoyarsk Dam.

- [Cara] You're doing great, Jaime.

- Some of these things I've never seen before.

I've never seen any of these things before, Cara.

- [Cara] Any sort of symbol?

- [Jaime] The symbols on these,

they make no sense whatsoever.

Clowns?

An alligator, a lion.

When the hell did we do these things?

- No.

- [Margie] Ugh, still not it.

- [Tammy] Good job, Victor!

- [Victor] The second leg, we were in Germany.

Picture of a gondola.

- Donkey?

We didn't have a donkey.

Or the kiwi.

No kiwi.

These are so weird.

I never saw kangaroos.

- You're doing great.

Just don't get frustrated.

- [Jaime] This doesn't make any sense.

This stuff makes no sense.

- [Tammy] Good job, Victor.

- No, sorry.

- [Jaime] Okay.

- You found one?

Good job.

You're doing great, Jaime.

- [Victor] Beijing.

- No.

- Check the other ones.

- Church.

Gondola.

Gymnast.

Ruble.

- It's Phuket.

Okay, it goes right here.

Picture of Esso, the tiger.

- Car.

Flutist.

Tiger.

- I'm very nervous out there.

Luke's feeling really frustrated.

He can't find what the last symbol is,

and it looks like Victor's just about where Luke is.

- Beijing, last one.

- I don't know.

I don't know.

I don't know.

Darn!

[suspenseful music]

- I'm very nervous out there.

Luke's feeling really frustrated.

He can't find what the last symbol is.

- Sorry.

- Darn!

- Here, Victor, did you see the alligator?

Take that one. [laughs]

- The Cormorant birds, all right, Guilin.

That's Jaipur, Phuket, Bangkok.

- I got one.

- That's a good one?

- [Jaime] Yeah.

- [Cara] All right, woo!

[suspenseful music]

- Don't give up!

- I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.

- [Margie] Keep trying, don't give up.

- [Cara] You can do this, Jaim.

- [Jaime] I can do this.

- In Bangkok, we did the party taxi.

What was the roadblock in Bangkok?

The boat.

- Don't give up!

Just keep trying!

Try!

- Okay, I need two more things.

- Now I just need the Lada.

- [Luke] I don't know.

[suspenseful music]

- Done?

Good?

- Congratulations.

Here's your clue.

- Thank you, thank you, thank you.

- He got it, he got it.

- [Tammy] You got it?

- [Victor] Yes!

- [Tammy] Where do we go, where do we go?

This is it, go.

- [Victor] Travel to the King Kamehameha Golf Club

and run to the finish line.

This is it, go, go, go!

- [Tammy] Yay, this is the finish line!

- [Victor] We need to go to the King Kamehameha Golf Club.

- They finished.

They finished.

- That was exactly your task.

- [Victor] It's the task we wanted.

As quickly as we can go, thank you.

- Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.

- [Victor] I thought Luke was so close to being done.

- He's frustrated now.

He's frustrated, and so are Jaime and Cara.

- I did that Roadblock.

I rowed the boat.

I just need the first one.

- [Luke] I'm done.

- Mother of God.

What is it?

- She's still trying.

She's still chugging along and that's all you can ask for.

Luke too.

He's still trying.

- Oh my God, Tammy.

- Keep a full head.

We have to run fast.

- Why don't you work with Jaime?

- Jaime.

- Come here.

- [Luke] That is first.

- [Jaime] We saw this?

- Yeah, first leg.

- I don't remember seeing Jesus on the first one.

Oh God, we did see Jesus on the first one at the church.

Yes?

- Congratulations.

- [Jaime] Okay. Okay.

- Jaime--

- [Jaime] I know, I'm going to.

I will because I would never have remembered Jesus.

- Okay.

Okay.

Okay.

- Okay, go.

Ugh, all right.

I had them all except for Jesus.

So stupid!

Oh, stupid.

- It's okay.

You did great.

- Congratulations.

Here's your clue.

- Finally.

Okay, King Kamehameha Golf Club.

Okay, go.

Let's go fast, please.

Hey, hey.

Just look.

Look at me, look.

Just think positive now.

Think positive now.

We just have to do the best we can, okay?

You did the best you could do.

It's fine, okay?

It's all right.

- I'm sorry, I forgot the church.

- Jaime, I am not anything but proud of you and us.

I'm not anything but proud.

- It's okay.

You did the best you could.

Be proud of yourself, okay?

[soft music]

[soft music continues]

[contestants cheer and applaud]

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

- Three continents,

nine countries,

, miles.

Tammy and Victor,

you are the official winners of The Amazing Race.

Congratulations.

You have won the $ million.

[contestants cheer]

[mellow guitar music]

Victor, for you, you really got into this race emotionally.

And you've cried here on the mat,

you know, a number of times.

What does it mean to you?

- I just tried to enjoy the race for what it was

and just be true to my emotions

through the highs and the lows.

And I just can't believe.

I mean, it's just hard to believe that we're here right now.

I just can't,

I have no idea.

- What is going through your mind?

'Cause you're standing here like just shaking your head--

- This is--

- Looking around, going, "Where am I?

"What just happened?"

- I have no pants on.

[contestants laugh]

- You can afford to buy some new ones, don't worry.

- Victor has just pushed me my whole life and in this race,

and I'm just so thankful to be here with him.

- You wanted to prove to your brother

that you could stand up, take a leadership role.

- I think I proved to Victor

that, you know, we think differently,

but it doesn't mean that the way I think is not valuable.

And I think that from leg three on,

Victor and I tried really hard to listen to each other.

I don't think this race changed completely

years of, you know, Victor and my relationship,

but it has helped it progress.

When I look back at all the crazy things that I've done,

I learned that the nerdy little Asian girl

who could barely hold up her backpack before

can do quite a bit.

[dramatic music]

[contestants cheer and applaud]

[dramatic music continues]

- Jaime and Cara, you are the second team to arrive.

Congratulations

on an amazing race. - Thank you.

- Thank you. [contestants applaud]

- Very strong competition.

- Yes, they were.

Oh, God.

- Jaime, it just wasn't meant to be today.

- [Jaime and Cara] Not today.

- What was it, the pig?

Or what happened?

- No, it was me.

- No, it wasn't. - It was me.

I had of the clues at the Roadblock.

- [Phil] Yeah.

- She's blaming herself, but it's a team game.

And we finished The Amazing Race together

and that's what it's all about.

[contestants applaud]

This experience was the most wild,

unexpected, and enriching experiences

I think I'll probably ever have in my life.

- It's really extra special

when females can be on the same playing field with the guys.

Second is not too shabby when you look at the competitors

that we b*at out around us.

Cara and I have a lot to be proud of.

[dramatic music]

- You did a good job.

- I'm so proud of you.

I'm so proud of you.

That experience was worth more than a million.

[dramatic music]

- I love you.

[contestants cheer and applaud]

[dramatic music]

- Margie and Luke,

you're team number three.

[contestants applaud] Congratulations.

You guys ran an amazing race.

Surely now, you will admit

that your mother is the Bionic Woman.

- Yes, yes. [laughs]

- Luke, tell me why your mother is so special.

- He said a lot of deaf people, their parents don't sign

and they can't really communicate with their parents,

but so I'm very lucky to have him.

- I am so happy for Luke

that he got to be on The Amazing Race.

Every morning, he would just wake up and pinch himself

because he couldn't believe.

He'd say, "Mom, are we we really doing this?"

Just to see how happy it's made him is just,

it's just great.

The first deaf person on The Amazing Race,

I'm very proud of that.

I think deaf people think,

"Oh, a deaf person on The Amazing Race

"means other deaf people can do the same as me."

No matter what, deaf people can do anything.

[dramatic music]

[contestants cheer]

- My entire life, I feel like I've always done

what was expected of me and what was the right thing to do.

This was my opportunity to do something

that everyone thinks is a crazy thing to do,

and I'm just so grateful.

I come out of it sort of feeling

like there are no sort of walls or rules

in terms of what you have to be.

What's really been enlightening to me

in the race is you can have a lot of fun

just doing the crazy, unexpected, completely unconventional,

and it actually makes life sort of interesting.

[contestants applaud] [dramatic music]

[dramatic music continues]

[suspenseful music]

[dramatic theme music]
