NATURE CAT: "Stream and Shout."

This way, g*ng!

Tally ho!

Nature Cat, where are we going?

To do something special!

(Giggling)

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I wanna do something special!

Um, I certainly can't commit

until I have more details, Nature Cat.

But of course!

Today, we conquer something big, big, big

from my Nature Cat Curiosity List!

Your what-what-whatidy-what-what?

I've been collecting a list of things in nature

that I'm curious about!

And I find out about them!

Such as... Number :

"What can I catch if I dip my net in a pond?"

Ah! A turtle!

So, can I help you with something or what?

No. Just curious.

Or Number :

"What does it feel like to sleep in a bird's nest?"

(Grunting)

Not too comfy.

(Chirping)

This list is an amazing idea!

Why thank you, Daisy!

One is always on a quest for answers when you are a daring,

adventurous, brave explorer!

Uh, Nature Cat...

Ah! A bug!

I mean, ah... (Clearing throat)

Yes, of course. Um, what is it, Squeeks?

So what's the number on your curiosity list today?

I'll show you!

Onward and yonward!

Ta-da!

Huh? You're curious about the Sunset Park Stream?

But we've explored here hundreds of times!

Yeah, we already know a lot about the stream.

This stream is a place for fish to swim in.

Come on in,

the water's divine!

Whoo-hoo! (Fish cheering)

And for little critters to make their homes.

Honey, I'm home!

FEMALE FROG: Did you remember the flies?

Tell me you didn't forget the flies!

Umm... Uh-oh.

(Buzzing)

Yes, of course, dear!

Agreed on all fronts!

But we're here for a different reason!

To answer Number

on my Nature Cat Nature Curiosity List:

Where does it all begin?

Oh, oh, oh! Pick me, pick me, I know!

Uh, yes, Hal.

Yes! So, in the beginning

there was this huge expl*si*n

and then--

No, Hal! Not that beginning.

Where does this stream begin?

Oh...

Man, I never thought about that!

(Gasping) Where does it begin?

Man, oh, man, that's one very interesting question,

Nature Cat. I have no idea.

So, today we will go on a quest

to find out where this stream begins!

Yay! Woo-hoo!

Let's do it!

Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!

Hey, so, guys,

what do you think we'll find at the beginning of the stream?

Maybe a big leaky faucet?

You never know.

But we will soon find out!

The answer lies ahead!

This-a-way!

SQUEEKS: Now, that-a-way!

DAISY: Now, this-a-way!

ALL: Now, that-a-way!

Ooh, ooh! Hey-hey! Look!

The stream's coming out of the ground!

Is this the beginning of the stream?

Curious. Hmm...

You come out of here, stream,

but where do you come in from?

Hey!

I can hear the stream underground. Follow me!

Follow that bunny!

Getting there, getting there and...

ta-da!

Top notch work, Daisy! Ha ha!

So streams can go underground

and re-emerge somewhere else!

It's amazing!

Yes! Yes! And now we're back on the stream's trail!

Nothing can stop us now! Tally ho-- ooh!

Except this tree. Ow.

Saw that one coming.

Hey!

Where you guys headed?

To find out where it all begins!

Well first there was this huge expl*si*n and--

Hey, I know that story!

No, sorry, I should clarify, not that;

to find out where this stream begins.

Oh. I never thought about that!

Hey, fellas, Nature Cat here

is trying to find the beginning of the stream!

The beginning of the stream? Oh! I wonder what's there!

You gotta tell us what you find!

Good luck on the adventure.

Yeah, uh, good luck!

Thanks, all you frogs,

and salamanders and... all of you!

Hey, you forgot about crayfish.

Hi, Mr. Crayfish. (Screaming)

Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch! Ow!

Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!

Ouchie! Ow! Ow! I'm okay! Ah!

Phew... (Chuckling)

(Blowing raspberry)

Hey, will you please let us know what you find out, Nature Cat?

Of course!

Whoa-ho-ho-ho!

DAISY: Oh, it's beautiful!

SQUEEKS: So is this it? Is this the beginning of the stream?

It's gotta be!

But where does the water falling from the waterfall come from?

We need to find out!

We need to get up there and take a look!

Follow me! Tally ho!

Huh! The stream continues and so do we!

Onward and yonward!

HAL: Hey, look! The stream's smaller!

And it is so much rockier up here!

(Bird cawing)

You can say that again!

(Cawing)

DAISY: It sure is colder up here!

(Shivering)

Hey, do you think the beginning of the stream

is on the other side of these trees?

It's gotta be!

What?!

A huge snowy mountain peak?!

Now how are we gonna find the beginning of our stream

with a huge snowy mountain peak in the way?!

Nature Cat! I think we found the beginning!

Where? I don't see it! Is it behind me? Where?

Here! This snowy peak!

So interesting!

The snow melts and flows down the mountain

in a tiny stream that joins in with other tiny streams

to make a bigger stream!

Hi, beginning of stream, it's me, Hal! Nice to meet you.

(Sighing) Another quest completed.

Number : Where does the stream begin?

Right here up on the mountain, from the melting snow!

We did it, team! (All cheering)

Way to go, everybody!

ALL: We found the beginning!

But where does the stream end?!

I can't see that far!

SQUEEKS: Me either.

DAISY: Me neither.

HALLOWEEN: Me either neither too, too, also!

Well, what do you know,

that's actually the next thing on my Curiosity List!

"Number : Where does the stream end?"

Shall we?

We shall!

We shall shall also as well!

To the end of the stream we go!

Onward and yonward!

SQUEEKS: Oh, wow! Imagine, all in one day,

finding out where a stream begins and where it ends! Oh!

Man, oh, man, it certainly would be amazing!

Huh! What do you say,

we up the adventure and get to the end quicker?

You know I'm in, man. What're you thinking?

What, like a super fast, jet-fuelled space ship

with two power rocket boosters?

Uh, no, although that would be really sweet.

But I was thinking about this!

Whoa! Rafting down the stream!?

(Gasping)

Oh, I can't resist a good water adventure!

Wahoo !

Water?!

Wait a minute. What was I thinking?

The excitement of adventure clouded my judgement.

Come on, Nature Cat! Number : where does the stream end!

Quickest way to find out! Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!

It's a raft!

Get in!

Uh, on second thought,

what's the rush? It's a beautiful day,

sun is shining, birds are chirping.

How about a nice stroll down to the end?

Come on, Nature Cat, you can do it.

For the stream...

For your curiosity list!

For adventure that lies ahead!

Yes, yes, yes! And for adventure that lies ahead!

Onward and yonward!

Hey! Where are you guys going now?

To the end of the stream! Oh, by the way,

the beginning of the stream is a snowy mountain peak!

No way! You're awesome, Nature Cat!

NATURE CAT: Wow! The stream emptied into a river!

Whoa! Man, oh, man!

So where does the river lead to?

We're about to find out!

(Screaming)

SQUEEKS: Woo-hoo! Oh, yeah!

Adventure!

ALL: The ocean?!

So number : Where does the stream end?

In the ocean! Ha ha!

Our stream adventure ends here!

ALL: We did it!

Oh, yeah! Hurray for us!

Hey! We did it Mr. Crayfish! (Yelping)

Wow! What an adventure!

Yippee! Hurray!

(Cheering) SQUEEKS: Ooh, yeah!

NATURE CAT: "Hal's Day Off."

I'm gonna get you, Mr. Chewinsky!

Got ya!

That's twenty-seven Chewinsky catches

in a row!

Ooh! One more catch, Hal,

and it'll be a new world record for you!

Whoa-ho-ho-ho!

Let's do this!

Okay!

(Squeaking)

Catch!

ALL: Hal! Hal! Hal! Hal! Hal!

(Squeaking)

ALL: Hal?!

Got ya! (Chuckling)

A new record for me!

ALL: Hal!

Hey, I'm moving.

I'm moving!

Feel the wind on our face, Mr. Chewinsky!

Whee!

(Laughing) I love air!

Ooh! Look over there. Ooh! Ooh! Look, a house!

Ooh, look over there, a tree!

Oh, look at that a monster!

Oh nope, that's a mailbox.

Oh, look a man! (Laughing)

ALL: Hal!

DAISY: We'll never catch them.

Hal! How are we gonna find Hal?

He's in the truck and the truck's moving so fast

and I can't keep up with the truck and I don't drive!

(Camera clicking)

Got it!

Okay, I got the picture on the back of the truck.

Let's see who this belongs to. Hmm...

Yes, here it is!

The truck belongs to Wicks Plumbing, Chicago.

Chicago? (Gasping)

That's where the truck's going!

But that's the big city!

Then Chicago is where we go to get our friend!

Just one question, how are we all going to get there?

You guys, I know a way.

Come on!

You guys! You guys!

This canal will get us to the city.

Are you sure this is the way, Squeeks?

Oh yeah, yeah.

You know a duck buddy of mine took this to the city,

then turned around and came back.

Said it was too noisy and scary.

Ducks...

Noisy and scary?

(Gulping)

We must put all our fears aside to get our friend back!

Water?!

Looks like it's gonna have to be water.

Stroke! Stroke! Stroke!

The city! I see the city!

It's right there!

We're comin', Hal!

And we will find you!

(Squeaking)

Hey, we're not moving anymore, Mr. Chewinsky.

Whoa, Mr. Chewinsky, where are we?

(Squeaking)

The city? Really?

You know I've always wanted to come here.

But we should probably find out how to get back home, huh?

(Squeaking)

Yes, I know,

life moves pretty fast, Mr. Chewinsky,

and if you don't stop and look around once in a while,

you could miss it.

Ha ha! Let's do it!

(Squeaking)

Whoa, the city is so different from where we live.

And the buildings are so tall!

(Horn honking)

Tally ho!

That was a close one.

Man, oh, man!

We need to be more careful here than we do at home! Whew!

Oh, no, you don't! 'Cause you're with me,

Nature Cat, and nothing scares me!

Whoa!

What is it? What is it? What is it?!

Yikes!

(Barking)

(Growling)

(Barking)

(Horns blaring)

Hiya!

A possum? Here in the city?

Oh, yeah. You're looking at a city possum,

born and raised!

Oh! Well, then maybe you know where Wicks Plumbing is?

Let's see, Wicks Plumbing...

Nope, don't have a clue.

But if you're looking for

leftover moo-goo-gai-pan... bingo!

You've come to the right place!

Yep, these humans throw a lot of good food away!

And when they forgot to lock the dumpster, bingo!

It's a win-win for me, baby!

Wow, that possums got this city living thing all figured out.

Yes, that's all well and good, but it still would've been great

if he knew the directions to Wicks Plumbing.

Wait a minute! Directions! That's it!

Okay, here's the city map,

and let's see how to get from where we are

to Wicks Plumbing.

Hmm.,, Oh! Got the directions!

Follow me!

We just gotta find Hal!

I'm so worried about him alone

in the big city!

(Gasping) Look!

We made it! There's Wicks' Plumbing!

And the truck Hal fell into!

Hal, we're coming bud!

Tally ho!

Never fear, Hal! We're here to save-- you?!

(Gasping) Where's Hal?!

Hal!

Man, oh, man! Where'd he go?

MALE VOICE: Whoo-hoo!

Hey, that sounds like Hal!

(Munching)

Oh! Whoo-hoo, that hits the spot!

Skunk!

Hey there, fellow city creatures!

Oh, we're not from the city. We're actually from the suburbs.

Oh, just visiting?

Well, welcome to the neighbourhood !

You'll love it here!

Hey! If you're lookin' for a snackeroo,

you've come to the right place!

Yep. Once you figure it out,

the city can be a pretty good place to live, my friend.

Yeah, there's lots of great hiding places,

which is a good thing.

Yes, yes, quite so.

That sounds wonderful, but we're just here for a quick visit.

We're looking for our friend.

Yeah! He's a dog named Hal. Did you see him?

He's about yay high. Beautiful brown coat.

Every time he sniffs the ground,

he gets a little dirt caught in his third whisker.

Our best friend. And I really miss him so!

(Wailing)

There, there, Nature Cat. We'll find Halloween.

I wish I could help, but I haven't seen him. Sorry.

But if anyone can help, it's the Hawk.

She knows all that goes on in this fair city of ours.

The... (Gulping)

... Hawk?

And where can we find this so-called, Hawk?

Hey, hey, guy, Take 'em to the Hawk,

and look slick about it, will ya?

Whoa-ho-ho!

This is the last thing I wanted to see in the city!

It's the skyscraper, Mr. Chewinsky!

I mean, wouldn't that be amazing,

to maybe one day go up there, Mr. Chewinsky?

I mostly come out late at night. Streets can be pretty dangerous

with all the people and cars. Hey, I'm walking here!

I'm walking!

What?!

Even more animals in the city.

I just had no clue.

Yep, we figured out how to make the city work for us.

Could be worse.

I hope it's not worse for Hal!

We're getting closer to the top? How? Why?

I mean, it's kinda cool though, huh?

(Squeaking)

We're in a what now, Mr. Chewinsky?

(Squeaking)

Oh no! How'd we get up here?!

And how do we get down?!

I mean some people are nice, set up feeders for birds.

But then there's others

that lock up their garbage so we can't get in to eat.

Go figure. Yep, Hawk's here. See?

Hawk feathers.

Well, you're on your own now.

So long!

(Screeching)

You looking for me?

I-- uh-- we--you...help...

maybe...if time-- sorry. Thank you!

We really need your help! We have to find our friend Hal.

He's about yay high. Beautiful brown coat.

Every time he sniffs the ground,

he gets a little dirt caught in his third whisker.

Our best friend. And I really miss him so!

(Wailing)

There there, cat. I'd be happy to help.

One quick fly around the city should do the trick.

You coming?

Me? I, uh-- yes, sure! Of course! Ha ha!

I, Nature Cat, will come with you!

For Hal!

We fly!

Wah!

Onward and don't look downward!

I really don't want to have to live all the way up here,

Mr. Chewinsky. I'd miss everything back home,

like Harold the flying disk, and my water bowl Bowlie,

and Squeeks, and that spot in the sun that I like to nap in...

... and Daisy, and I'd miss Mrs. Chewinsky,

and Nature Cat-- oh, hi Nature Cat!

Hal!

Oh, Hal! I missed you!

I was so worried about you!

Nature Cat, I had so much fun in the city,

but now I want to go home! I'm so happy you found me!

Well, I had a lot of help from our city critter friends.

Thanks, Mrs. Hawk. It's me Hal!

You are most welcome.

We have to get home right away, Hal.

But how?

Just leave it to me

and my city friends.

Ah... Thank you so much!

If there ever is anything that I, Nature Cat,

can do for you, just let me know.

Maybe you'd like to stay here with us?

No thanks, the city's our home.

We know how to live there.

Come on, pigeons, we fly!

ALL: Bye!

NATURE CAT: See you later! Thanks!

HAL: Mr. Chewinsky says "Thank you!"

(Squeaking)

(Sighing)
