- Previously on "The Amazing Race..."

Go!

teams set out from Long Beach, California

and race to Lima, Peru.

- Follow them.

- [Phil] Rob and Amber used their celebrity status

from "Survivor" to get ahead.

- We got all of Peru workin' for us.

- [Phil] Some teams didn't approve.

- They don't need to win again.

- Yeah!

- [Phil] Teams took a ride through the Peruvian Mountains.

- Woo!

- Watch that.

Oh!

- [Phil] Some endured spitting llamas.

- Okay.

[speaking in Spanish]

[driver speaking in Spanish]

- [Phil] Debbie and Bianca's fluent Spanish

put them first on the mat.

[Debbie cheering] [Bianca cheering]

- Where we at, where we at, where we at?

- [Phil] While Ryan and Chuck and Ron and Kelly got lost.

- [Ron] Kelly, come on.

- [Phil] And in the end,

Ryan and Chuck were the first team eliminated.

- We just didn't make it.

- [Phil] In the next leg,

teams accuse Rob and Amber of lying.

- Makes me nauseous to have to deal

with that kinda stuff. - Makes me nauseous

to have to have you call me a liar.

- Lying [indistinct]. - Let's just say

it's a good thing that people can't be voted off.

- [Phil] And Rob's innovative gameplay...

[Rob speaking in Spanish]

- [Phil] Ruffled some feathers.

- Oh, now you open it?

Real freakin' cool.

- [Phil] Romance brewed between the brothers

and Megan and Heidi.

- [Contestant] There was a definite connection there.

- [Phil] And both teams got

on the last flight to Santiago, Chile.

- Look who's behind us.

- Oh my God. - Go, go, go.

[contestant speaking in Spanish]

- [Phil] Resulting in a foot race to the finish.

- [Contestant] Go, go, go, go, go, go.

- Woo!

- Megan and Heidi, you're the last team to arrive.

And the girls were eliminated.

A thrilling drive through the Andes

brought teams to a meaty Road Block.

[contestant coughs]

- Ah!

- [Phil] Where Rob refused.

- I'm never gonna be able to eat at all.

I quit.

- [Phil] And took a penalty,

rolling the dice that others would follow.

- I can't do this.

- I'm finished.

- This was a good idea.

- It was a good idea.

- [Phil] Debbie and Bianca took a wrong turn.

[contestant speaking in Spanish]

[woman speaking in Spanish]

- [gasps] What?

- [Phil] Putting them last on the mat.

You've both been eliminated from the race.

In the next leg...

- [Uchenna] The horse is just too wild.

- [Phil] Uchenna watched Joyce brave a wild ride.

- You all right? - Yeah.

- [Phil] Teams gloated on the first flight.

- Rob and Amber didn't make it.

- [Contestant] Survive that.

- [Phil] But quickly....

- Oh, I can't wait to see the look on their face!

- [Phil] Changed their tune.

- No freaking way. - I hate them.

- [Phil] Ray and Deana got nasty toward the competition.

- [Ray] I'm not losing to a year old man and his wife.

- [Phil] Susan and Patrick floundered.

- [Susan] Oh no, it's dyin'.

- And never recovered.

I'm sorry to tell you,

you've both been eliminated from the race.

- South Africa.

- [Phil] The seven remaining teams

then flew to South Africa,

where Ray and Deana b*at Rob and Amber to the Fast Forward.

- Scariest thing I've ever done in my life.

- Wow! [crowd cheering]

- [Phil] Uchenna and Joyce got emotional at an orphanage.

- It hurts our hearts.

[Gretchen exclaiming]

- [Meredith] Are you all right?

- [Phil] On the Detour, Gretchen took a fall.

But it didn't break her spirit.

- I can't go to Soweto Market like this.

- [Phil] The couple came in last but were not eliminated.

And they had to start the next leg

with only the clothes on their back.

- [Gretchen] All we have are each other now.

- [Phil] In Botswana, Brian and Greg lost control.

[car crashing] [men exclaiming]

- [Contestant] Oh my God, oh my God.

- [Phil] Lynn and Alex stopped...

- [Contestant] Are you okay?

- [Phil] But Rob and Amber drove right by.

- [Rob] There's no way we're stoppin'.

- That's just so typical of their game.

- [Phil] Ray and Deana bickered at the Detour.

- Why not do it yourself?

- It's depressing doing this with you.

- Come on! - Come on!

- While the brothers caught up.

[contestant exclaims]

Narrowly defeating Ray and Deana.

You've both been eliminated from the race.

- We deserve to be.

- [Phil] Teams enjoyed a scenic drive through the bush.

- Elephant?

We have an elephant.

- [Kelly] Hurry, Ron, hurry, Ron.

- [Ron] Shut up, I'm doin' it as fast as I can.

- [Phil] Tensions grew between Ron and Kelly.

- [Kelly] You're a piece of trash redneck.

- [Phil] While Brian and Greg got lost.

- [Brian] Man, we are idiots.

- [Phil] And were eliminated.

In India, Meredith and Gretchen were adored by the locals.

[crowd cheering]

- [Meredith] Blow some kisses.

- [Phil] Uchenna and Joyce went for the Fast Forward.

- Uh oh, they got scissors.

- [Phil] And Joyce underwent an Indian ritual.

- [Uchenna] Honey?

[Joyce sobbing]

- It's okay, it's just hair.

- Sending the couple to first place.

Uchenna and Joyce, you are team number one.

- Yeah! [Joyce cheering]

- [Phil] Then Lynn and Alex got lost.

- Which way?

Where's everyone?

- [Phil] And never recovered.

- You've both been eliminated from the race.

- I love you.

- [Phil] The four remaining teams headed

to Istanbul, Turkey.

Kelly confronted Ron.

- You don't make commitments.

- [Ron] I've only committed to the m*llitary.

- And you got outta that one.

- How'd I get outta that one?

- By bein' a POW.

- Oh my God, Meredith.

- [Phil] Gretchen tackled a very visible Road Block.

- [Meredith] Come on, babe!

- [Phil] And Rob and Amber...

- Yeah!

- [Phil] Barely b*at Ron and Kelly.

- [Kelly] Honey, you can do it.

Woo!

- Oh!

- [Phil] To the finish.

- This is a non elimination leg

and you guys are both still in "The Amazing Race."

- [Phil] Teams flew to London, England

where Rob and Amber delayed one team.

- We choose to yield.

Ron and Kelly.

- Oh, they're not gonna be happy.

Oh well.

- [Gretchen] Oh!

- [Phil] Uchenna helped Meredith and Gretchen

with a difficult Detour.

- [Uchenna] Meredith and Gretchen are good people, man.

I hate to see 'em break their backs like this.

- [Phil] The Road Block...

- [Ron] Ah!

Tie!

- [Phil] Frustrated all the teams.

[Meredith exclaims]

- I can't understand what the hell you're saying!

- [Phil] And in the end, Meredith and Gretchen arrived last.

- I'm sorry to tell you,

you've both been eliminated from the race.

Tonight, on a special two hour season finale,

one of the these three teams

will win one million dollars

as winners of "The Amazing Race."

[dramatic music]

[music continues]

[singer vocalizing]

[music continues]

[music continues]

[music continues]

[triumphant music]

This is London, England, founded more than , years ago.

It's a city rich in history and historic sites,

like Tower Bridge, and adjacent to the bridge

along the River Thames, Potters Fields Park.

This was the th Pit Stop in a race around the world.

Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg

for a mandatory rest period.

The three teams waiting

here have no idea what's in store for them.

- To the power of the race! - Congratulations.

- Woo!

- So, which of you two teams is gonna finish second?

- Yeah, right. - You are.

- Yeah. [Joyce laughs]

- [Phil] With time running short,

can Uchenna and Joyce climb out of last place?

And with the race on the line,

will Ron and Kelly overcome their relationship woes?

Rob and Amber who were the first to arrive at : p.m.,

will depart at : a.m.

- "Fly to Kingston, Jamaica."

- [Phil] Teams must now fly more

than , miles to Kingston, Jamaica.

When they land, they'll have to travel

by taxi more than miles to Port Antonio.

Once there, teams must find this beach,

known as Frenchman's Cove to find their next clue.

- Jamaica. - Let's go.

Makin' the final three is exciting,

but Amber and I came here to win.

We've been in a very stressful situation

with "Survivor" and we've ended up on top.

There's no reason why we shouldn't win again.

Just write the check.

Let's go up here.

- [Joyce] Yeah, go on, jump in.

- It's kinda crazy.

It's gonna be the w*r hero and the beauty queen

versus "Survivors" versus the black couple in Jamaica.

"Hey, man [laughs]."

There it is, Kingston.

: in the afternoon.

- [Amber] So, we have a good six, seven hours.

- Let's make sure it's the first flight.

Internet access.

There it is, Kingston.

:.

We're goin' to Jamaica.

Definitely the first flight out.

All the other teams are gonna catch up.

- "Travel by taxi towards the city of Port Antonio."

Let's go to Jamaica, man.

- There's a subway on the other side of London Bridge,

but that's gonna be a cold run across that bridge.

- [Kelly] Yeah, we've got enough money,

let's just take a taxi.

I feel like throughout this race

I've been able to really show Ron what I'm made of.

I'm not just this pageant queen,

or this ballerina.

If he doesn't figure out the quality girl that I am,

he's missin' out [laughs].

- When I was in the m*llitary we dealt with soldiers

and we didn't have these emotional issues,

but that's part of dealin' with Kelly,

the emotional little being she is.

- [Kelly] Taxi, taxi.

- [Ron] I think the subway would be just as fast

'cause we could take the express.

- [Kelly] Let's take a taxi, honey.

Can we get a taxi - Hey, can someone take

- us to Heathrow Airport? - To the airport?

- [Ron] How much will it cost?

- It's about pounds, innit?

- [Ron] I didn't know it'd be quite that expensive.

- Okay.

- "Fly to Kingston, Jamaica."

- Kingston, Jamaica, okay.

- "You have $ for this leg of the race."

Let's go! - All right, here we go.

Joyce and I, these last couple years

we've been quarreling a lot.

We've been looking at options

that don't include being together.

I'm happy to say that that's turned around a lot.

I have never been more proud to be Joyce's husband

as I am right this moment.

But at the same time,

we're looking at a one in three chance

at winning a million dollars.

Those are really good odds.

Oh, there's a cabby right there.

Let's do it.

- [Joyce] Can you take us to the airport please?

Heathrow?

- That's all right, London to Jamaica.

You gotta love it.

- So we're not going to Air Jamaica.

Air Jamaica to the right.

They're not open yet, Air Jamaica, right?

- No, about three or four hours before flight.

The first flight to Kingston leaves at : p.m.

- Okay, so we're leavin' at : p.m.

- It's cold out here.

Thank you. - Thank you very much.

Let's see, Air Jamaica, over there.

- [Joyce] So, Air Jamaica's not here yet?

- Not yet, no.

- [Joyce] Oh, what time is the flight?

Do you know?

- The first flight leaves at : p.m.

- Whew, no wonder no one's here.

- Well, freakin' worthless to take a $ cab ride.

- Whatever, just let it go.

When it comes to any kind of argument,

Ron and I do not communicate well at all.

The race is ending and we need

to talk about what's gonna happen next.

So, what's gonna happen when we go home?

- Because I realize where this is going,

and I've been very real about that.

I don't wanna be married right now.

I'm not ready to make that commitment.

I cannot deal with the control factor in my life right now.

A year and a half ago,

when I had someone controlling everything I did,

everything I ate, where I went,

controlling whether I lived or d*ed or not,

and I cannot handle having anyone controllin' me.

- More than anything,

I just hope this worked out between us.

I love you and that's why I'm sad.

- Kelly really wants to get married

and wants to rush everything and I'm just not ready.

And to let someone pressure me

into making a big decision like gettin' married,

I don't feel like it's the right thing to do.

- Why do you act like my boyfriend then on this race?

I mean, I don't get it.

I'm not giving up on the race because I really wanna win.

I'm just kinda sad

about the whole relationship part of it.

So, just kinda breaks my heart.

[dramatic music]

- Tickets to Jamaica. - You're all set.

- Okay, thank you very much. - Thank you.

- Tickets to Jamaica.

- [Gate Agent] Yeah, sure.

- Thank you. - Safe flight, take care.

- Hello.

- We want the same things.

- [Uchenna] Has checkin begun?

- [Gate Agent] Yes.

[energetic music]

- [Phil] Teams are now flying nonstop

from London, England, to Kingston, Jamaica.

[upbeat music]

- Thank you.

We in a competition,

we got a goal. - Okay, thank you.

Frenchman's Cove, Port Antonio, and quickly.

- [Rob and Amber] Port Antonio.

Port Antonio, Port Antonio.

You know Frenchman's Cove?

- We want Frenchman's Cove.

- Okay, hurry, hurry. - Okay, go, go, go, go, go.

- We're last right now.

All the other teams have left before us.

- We have a good time comin' to Jamaica on holiday.

This is a little bit different.

We are competing for a million dollars.

- [Amber] Uchenna and Joyce got in front of us.

- [Rob] Damn.

[dramatic music]

- Ah, the smell of a third world country.

- We have a clue.

There it is, you see? - Right here.

Okay, we gotta get out, gotta get out.

- [Uchenna and Joyce] Road Block.

- A Road Block is a task that only one person may perform.

In this Road Block,

that person has to participate

in a traditional Jamaican party game, the limbo.

In this version of the game,

each rung of the limbo stick corresponds

to a departure time from the beach at Frenchman's Cove,

where teams will spend the night.

Teams have eight chances to see how low they can go.

- Okay, I'll do it.

[upbeat music] [guitarist singing]

All right, limbo station.

What do I do?

- Arch your back and you walk.

- Okay.

- You get eight chances.

- [Joyce] All right.

- [Uchenna] Take your time, honey.

[local women cheering]

- Slow it down.

Road Block.

You'll do it, honey.

"How low can you go?"

- Rob has used up all his Road Blocks.

We do six each.

So, I have to do it and I still have one more to do.

- Okay, so we take it a notch down.

- [Joyce] Okay.

- Work your heels, work those heels.

[upbeat music]

All right. - Woo!

- Baby, go fast, baby!

Come on, baby, you got this.

- [Uchenna] That was a good one.

- Woo! - Like candy!

All right!

- You got it.

- Woo!

- [Uchenna] Yeah!

- [Rob] Oh, yeah, no problem!

- There's the clue box right there.

- Road Block.

"How low can you go?"

- [Ron] Sounds like you.

- Here we go, baby.

Yeah, work those feet, girl.

Don't stop.

You got it, baby.

You got it.

- Oh!

- She does dance and everything,

so she should be pretty good at this.

[upbeat music]

[Ron clapping]

[upbeat music]

- Yeah.

That's it, sweetie.

- There you go, sweetie.

Take your time.

Take your time.

Yeah, use your hands.

That's good, that's...

Oh! [locals exclaiming]

[upbeat music]

- Very good.

- I couldn't do this one were flip.

- Come on.

That's it, baby.

That's it, that's it, that's it's, that's it.

- [Uchenna] There you go, sweetie.

Work your heels, work those heels.

There you go.

- Come on, baby. - There you go.

- Yeah, baby!

- Come on, you got it.

That's it, that's it, that's it.

Yeah!

Come here. - Thank you!

Very good. - You did very good.

- [Amber] "Route Info."

- [Phil] Teams will spend

the night here at Frenchman's Cove.

They will depart in the morning

at the time they earned doing the limbo,

and will make their was miles to the Upper Rio Grande,

high in the hills outside Port Antonio,

and find Grants Level.

It is here they'll find their next clue.

- We have to stay here till :.

I don't think I would've been able to do it.

[Amber chuckles]

Yeah, right [laughs].

- They've got six o'clock on there.

I think we could take it to the ground.

Come on, baby.

- Take it easy, take it easy.

Woo!

- Yeah!

- [Uchenna] Man, I don't believe they got ahead of us.

No more mistakes.

- Good job, baby.

- "Find Grants Level to find your next clue."

And I think we go at :.

- Work those feet, baby.

There you go.

Yeah, take your time.

Take your time.

Keep goin', keep goin'.

Don't... - Oh!

- That's it, I don't think I can do anymore, honey.

- This is your clue. - Clue?

- Okay? - : a.m.

- Thank you.

"Find Grants Level."

:.

- Oh, we gonna do this till : in the morning.

Okay. - Yeah.

- [Uchenna] We are startin' the day off minutes behind

the other teams,

and we have to come up with a plan

and get ahead of two teams that are very strong.

It's game time.

- [Kelly] We're one of the first two teams leaving

with Rob and Amber.

We're always beside Rob and Amber

and it's like a thorn in our side.

I keep thinkin', "Rob and Amber are scared of us

because they know we can b*at them in this race."

- [Amber] Uchenna and Joyce are minutes behind us,

and Ron and Kelly, their relationship really

isn't at its best right now.

So, Rob and I can kind of use those things to our advantage.

- [Rob] I'm telling you, we're winning this race.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music] [seagulls squawking]

- Let's go.

- [Amber] It's about :.

It's time to go.

Now we just have to get a taxi.

- :, we can stay, babe.

- [Ron] All right, we gotta find a taxi.

- [Kelly] Let's walk down here to the main road.

[melancholy music]

- [Amber] Is that a taxi?

Yeah, perfect.

- Do you know this?

Upper Rio Grande? - Yeah.

- [Amber] Can you take us?

- Yeah. - Thank you.

- Million dollars, we got a % chance.

That's more money than most people make in a lifetime.

- Here's a taxi right here.

Get in.

- [Kelly] The Upper Rio Grande,

do you know where that is?

- [Driver] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Okay. - Eh, no worries, man.

[Kelly chuckles]

- [Joyce] :.

I think we're ready to roll.

- [Uchenna] We gotta hurry.

- [Joyce] There's a taxi right there.

Okay, we gotta go to Upper Rio Grande.

- What's your name? - Mikey.

- [Uchenna] Nice to meet you, Mikey.

- [Joyce] It's nice though, being in Jamaica.

- [Mikey] Island livin' is all right.

- Rob and Amber and Ron and Kelly

will be minutes ahead of us.

[dramatic music]

- [Rob] Right here, right here, right here.

Where's the other teams?

- [Kelly] Is this it?

- [Ron] Yeah, jump out.

Okay.

- Come on, babe.

- [Rob] "Detour."

- A Detour is a choice between two tasks,

each with its own pros and cons.

In this Detour, teams have to choose

between two river activities, Raft It and Build It.

In Raft It, teams travel eight miles

down the Rio Grande on a traditional bamboo raft

using only a pole to steer.

Once they successfully navigate the raft down the river,

teams will find their next clue.

In Build It teams must actually build a bamboo raft

using all the parts correctly.

Once completed, the teams must use their raft

to cross the river,

then climb up this hill to find their next clue.

- Yeah, eight miles is gonna take us two hours.

- Eight miles is a long ways on the river

going this slow.

- Okay, so Build It? - Yeah.

- Honey, maybe we should do the opposite of what they do.

- It's over there.

- Please make a decision, I don't know.

You're the one - Okay.

- who knows more about rafting.

- Eight miles is a long ways to go on a slow river.

- Then you wanna Build.

Let's go.

- Of course, the Built It one could take awhile.

I've never built a raft.

- [Amber] Watch him.

- I got it.

- All right, here's a demonstration.

- Yeah, it's just lashin' in and out.

- This first.

- It needs to go through here.

- Okay, hold on. - Come on, get the next one.

- Get a rock and you're gonna bang it through.

- It's not going through.

- [Ron] Well, you gotta bang it harder then.

- [Amber] Hold up, hold up!

- [Rob] The next one.

- Well, that's what I'm saying.

This one was facing the wrong way.

- Push 'em all together.

- [Amber] You need to take that one out.

- Just go push 'em all together.

- [Ron] Let me do this thing.

- Nice, okay.

Okay.

- And there's the clue right there.

We'll be back.

Will you wait for us? - Ya, man.

- Okay. - Wait.

- "Build It or Raft It."

Raft is eight miles, that's a long time.

- Yeah, let's Build It.

- We gonna have to do some serious hustlin'.

- Hold that down that end.

- [Amber] There's Joyce and Uchenna.

- All right, babe. - Yeah, the poles

that go through there.

- Puttin' some gloves on.

We're gonna catch up real quick.

We just wanna be smart about this.

- Honey, you want gloves?

- No.

- Man, my hands are already bleeding.

All right, grab me one of those gloves.

- [Amber] Want a glove?

[Rob groans]

- I cut my finger open.

- Here, let me get you the gloves.

Put gloves on, please.

- The gloves are fine, I don't need the gloves.

[Amber smirks]

- Okay. - Come down here, babe.

- Want me to hold it? - I'm gonna hold

this side up like this

and I'm gonna shove this thing through.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. [Uchenna grunts]

Good job, honey.

- I think there's something I can be doing.

I mean, I'm just sittin' here.

- Well, this has to go in there too, babe.

- [Kelly] We got a long way to go.

- That up there, that's the last thing

to even get done.

- [Kelly] I'm just layin' 'em down.

- The last time I built one of these was,

oh, never, so, relax.

- [Uchenna] The other teams are bogged down,

puttin' those rafts together.

We're gainin' on 'em.

- All right. - Hold that.

- All right. - We just gotta keep workin'.

- All right, we're just goin' slow and steady.

- Rob's been in construction for about years

and we built a raft on "Survivor" before,

so this challenge just seemed to be the one to pick.

- Is there easy way to do this?

- They're on their fourth stick.

We're still on our second.

- Help would be where- - What do you want me to do?

- I want you to push this pole down.

- [Uchenna] Really, really good.

We're moving along.

Take 'em off right here.

- Okay.

Good job, honey.

- Right there.

Hold it right there.

- Up a little bit more. - Hold it right there.

I'm not meaning to be like that,

but I mean, we gotta finish this thing.

- I do whatever I can to make you happy.

- That's my girl.

- Last through the race, you can make me happy.

[romantic music]

- These have to be tied against the bar,

so I need you to pull up.

- [Kelly] Ah, you're smashing my hand between a rock.

- [Ron] Will you shush? [Kelly groans]

Control yourself.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, speed.

- Speed and efficiency, efficiency.

Absolutely awesome,

this raft building part. - Got our raft.

- [Uchenna] I think we're gonna be doin'...

Gilligan should have been watchin' this.

[Joyce laughs]

- Uchenna and Joyce are probably

around the same progress as me and Rob.

Kelly and Ron seem - Let's go.

- to just be doing it in a different order.

- I want you to look at everybody else.

They're a lot farther than us and look what they're doing.

- I understand that.

I've never built one of these before.

That's what I'm trying to explain to you.

When you figure out how to build one, you tell me.

- Smart, eh?

[dramatic music]

- Next one.

Let's take care of the seat.

Honey, grab the end of that.

Let's...

Come on.

[dramatic music]

- Ready? - Yeah.

Is that good?

- Yeah, looks pretty good.

- Kelly is, she's worried about everybody else.

It'd be nice if she'd just worry

about us a little bit more.

"Oh my gosh, can you see what Rob and Amber's doin'?"

I can't stand that crap.

- Finish.

Now put it in the water?

- No, not yet, not yet.

- Not yet? - It's not part of the raft.

- [Rob] Okay, okay.

- Oh, he wants us to take that part off?

- Yeah. - Okay.

- Do that look good?

- [Kelly] Yeah.

- Okay, he wants to do a checkin' up.

- It seems like Ron and Kelly have a couple problems.

- [Supervisor] This bamboo is not in the right position.

- [Joyce] We built the raft in no time.

We're ready.

- Let's have a look.

Very good, fundamentally.

- It's good? - Yeah.

- Let's go. - Yes!

- For your next clue, you have to go across the river.

- Oh, okay. - Across the river?

All right, let's get it in the water.

- [Kelly] Honey, they're ready.

- [Ron] Kelly, would you stop?

You're tickin' me off.

- Perfect.

- Perfect? - Thank you.

- [Uchenna] Okay, we push it [groaning].

- [Rob] Come on, babe, across the river.

The clue's over there.

- [Kelly] Hey, hey, hey.

- This is fine.

[dramatic music]

- [Ron] Can't move.

Are we stuck or somethin'?

- [Kelly] Wait, I probably wired this one in here wrong.

- [Ron] Oh, cut it out.

- [Kelly] Just look under here and cut it.

- [Rob] Hang on, babe.

[wire snaps]

There it is.

We'll do it again.

- [Uchenna] Come on baby.

Get in, get in, get in.

- Come on baby.

You know where it, babe?

- [Amber] Yes, you got the pole, hon?

- [Uchenna] Take the pole, sweetie.

- Okay.

- Right there. - Right there, right there.

- [Amber] Hit the brakes.

Brakes is where?

- [Uchenna] That's it, babe.

- [Joyce] Go.

- [Amber] Do both of us have to go?

[Rob speaking indistinctly]

- [Uchenna] This ain't bad.

Just goin' straight up.

[dramatic music]

- [Amber] Grab the rope, honey.

- It's slippery.

- Climb down.

- Hold on. - Don't fall on me.

[dramatic music]

- [Joyce] Okay [indistinct].

- [Uchenna] I'm comin' down.

- Let's go.

[Amber grunts]

You all right?

- Yeah, be careful, this is very slippery here.

- Go down. - Okay.

- Okay, gotta watch out.

- You hold this, I'll paddle.

Sit down. - All right.

- I wanna get in the water.

- [Ron] Kelly, if you'll help.

- [Kelly] What do you want me to do?

- [Ron] I want you to help feed this to me.

Hang on.

- "Help, don't, hang on."

- Go! Drop the thing.

My sneaker.

- Watch out, Rob, watch out buddy!

- [Amber] Rob!

- Got it.

- Okay.

- Need the sneaker.

Come on, get our stuff.

Open it, open it.

- "Travel via taxi to the next Pit Stop."

- Teams must now travel miles by taxi to Montego Bay.

Once there, they must find this villa at Round Hill.

This acre coconut and spice plantation

is the th Pit Stop in a race around the world.

The last team to check in here may be eliminated.

- [Rob] Come on, come on.

- Okay. - Let's go.

- All right, read.

- "Travel by taxi to the next Pit Stop."

- [Uchenna] Let's go.

We got our man for it, too.

Mikey!

- Let's go, let's go.

We gotta get the clue.

- [Rob] Taxi!

Taxi!

Where is it?

- We need to go to Round Hill, Montego Bay.

You know where that is?

- [Mikey] Outside of Montego Bay.

- All right. - Round Hill.

[indistinct]

- [Rob] Montego Bay.

They're beatin' us.

- We can't let them pass us.

- [Mikey] I will do my best.

- Okay, do your best.

- Okay, we're just stayin' behind 'em.

At the last minute we'll go in front of 'em.

- [Ron] I can handle it.

- [Kelly] Good. Go, go, go.

- [Ron] I'm tryin'!

- [Kelly] Hurry, hurry, hurry.

[dramatic music]

- [Ron] Straight across.

Go fast.

- "Travel by taxi to the next Pit Stop."

- [Ron] Come on, babe.

Round Hill, Montego Bay. - Round Hill.

- Fast.

We're in last.

Please hurry as much as you can.

- Woo! - Our driver is good.

Hopefully we can catch up.

- I don't know, man.

- Good job. - We got it.

Good job, baby. - Woo!

We passed 'em up! - We just got through.

- Woo!

- Good job, honey.

- [Tyson] Don't worry about Tyson, man.

I take care of you people, all right?

- All right, thanks.

- You'll be the first one.

- Our driver is Tyson.

He's a good driver.

We gotta stop and get gas.

- [Tyson] Yo, Mikey!

Let's stop and get petrol here!

- [Rob] I guess Tyson knows Mikey.

- [Tyson] Yeah, that's my boy.

- That's your boy? - Yeah.

- [Mikey] We're gonna put some petrol in,

so we have enough to do anything.

- [Uchenna] You know how to make a move quickly, huh?

- [Joyce] Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry.

Oh, I don't want them to follow us.

Go Mikey, go Mikey.

- [Amber] There's Joyce and Uchenna.

- [Rob] Let's go, let's go.

- [Joyce] It's Rob and Amber.

- [Uchenna] That's it.

Let's go.

That's enough.

Finish it. - He's taking it out.

- [Joyce] Let's go!

Go Mikey, go Mikey, go Mikey [laughs]!

- [Uchenna] I'm sure Rob is havin' a fit.

- Uchenna and Joyce just got out ahead of us, so.

- [Rob] Come on, come on.

- [Amber] Hurry up!

- [Rob] Come on, get in, man.

- Ah, they're gettin' gas too right here.

Hey, hey, that's our competition.

We need to b*at them. - That's our competition.

- [Kelly and Ron] We gotta hurry.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Okay, let's go.

- This is Ron and Kelly right here.

- [Kelly] Just enough to get us there please, please.

- Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm doing.

- Okay, okay.

- [Amber] Go, go, go.

Thank you, Tyson.

[horn honking]

- [Kelly] We gotta hurry.

[dramatic music]

- [Uchenna] There is some serious traffic.

- We can't see Uchenna and Joyce,

so who knows how far ahead of us they are.

- There's a traffic jam right up here.

- Damn it.

Rob and Amber are behind us, right on our tails.

Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh.

It looks like a police check.

- [Joyce] That's Rob and Amber back there.

- [Uchenna] The policeman pulled them over.

- Oh, Rob is losing - Rob is having a fit.

- his mind right now.

- Are you kidding me?

We're screwed.

Nothing's going our way right now.

Come on!

- Rob and Amber just got stopped at a police checkpoint.

Hopefully their luck has ended

and they'll stop their whole streak

of good luck that they've had this entire race so far.

- [Kelly] Now Ron and I are second,

and Uchenna and Joyce are in the lead.

- Gotta corporate with the police,

so that's too bad.

- We just got stopped by some cops

doin' a routine stop,

and the other two teams got ahead of us,

and now we have to catch up to 'em.

Hopefully we will, otherwise that cop

coulda cost us a million bucks.

[dramatic music]

[no audio]

[dramatic music]

We just got stopped by some cops doin' a routine stop,

and the other two teams got ahead of us,

and now we have to catch up to 'em.

Hopefully we will, otherwise that cop

coulda cost us a million bucks.

It would take a miracle for something

to happen to the other teams

for us to finish before them at this point.

- We're headed to a place called Round Hill

and we gotta find cottage .

- [Ron and Kelly] Uh oh.

- Uchenna and Joyce are in front of us

and their back left tire is getting really flat.

- [Kelly] That would be very good if it popped.

[dramatic music]

- Left.

[horn honking]

I can see them right now.

- Good driving. - I know my stuff.

Just bear with me [indistinct], okay?

- Tyson did some unbelievable driving.

Caught us back up.

Oo, their tire looks low, huh?

We're hopin' they go over a pothole

and that thing pops [laughs].

- [Joyce] What was that?

- [Uchenna] Uh oh.

- [Mikey] We got a flat tire.

- [Joyce] Lord have mercy.

- [Uchenna] Unbelievable!

- [Joyce] That sucks.

No way. - Flat tire, baby.

- Oh my God.

No frickin' way.

[dramatic music]

- Their tire's flat.

Uchenna and Joyce just had to pull out.

We're kinda hopin' Rob and Amber would come in last today,

but Uchenna and Joyce could still

catch up with us at this point.

- Uchenna and Joyce's tire just blew.

That might just be our lucky break.

- There's Ron and Kelly.

- [Uchenna] And Rob and Amber.

Damn it!

- [Driver] There's a top road

and a bottom road in Montego Bay.

I'm gonna take the top road.

- [Ron] Is that the bottom road over there?

- [Driver] Yeah, man.

We lost 'em.

- [Ron] Woo hoo!

- Is the other team in front of us?

- I don't see them right now.

- We lost 'em.

I'm about to go through the roof.

- We'll be fine.

Get in, sweetie.

All right, back on the road.

- [Joyce] Okay, we need a miracle.

- Yeah, we need a miracle now.

[dramatic music]

- Are we getting close?

- [Driver] Yeah, man.

- Yay!

- Now we're going to look for Round Hill

on the right-hand side.

- [Kelly] On the right-hand side?

- Yeah.

- We just wanna come in first.

[dramatic music]

- [Rob] Is this the way?

- [Tyson] No, I wanna check with someone.

- We gotta find out where we're goin'.

Hop outta the cab, babe.

Round Hill Hotel.

- Straight down. - Straight.

- [Man] Straight down.

- Straight.

- [Amber] Straight, straight, straight.

[dramatic music]

- [Uchenna] Come on, come on.

- You still think we're not gonna be last?

- I still think I'm not gonna

be last until it happens.

We gotta definitely keep pushin'.

[dramatic music]

- This could be it on the right.

- Round Hill right here. - Round Hill.

- [Kelly] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Come on. - Cottage .

Oh my gosh.

Please Lord, let us be first.

- Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

That's it.

Go, go, go.

Keep goin', number .

- [Tyson] .

- [Uchenna] Oh man, we're last.

- That's it, man. - Okay.

- [Uchenna and Joyce] .

- [Ron] That may be it.

Go down the hill.

- [Kelly] Go down, go down, go down.

I don't know.

- We might be able to catch 'em still.

Where's ?

Go, go, go, go, go, go.

- [Uchenna] Close, we're close.

- [Joyce] We're not ready to go home yet.

- [Uchenna] No, we are not ready to go home yet.

- All right, slow down, slow down,

slow, slow, slow, stop. - Slow down, slow down.

- [Ron] It's probably out there.

[dramatic music]

- [Kelly] Go, go.

- [Ron] Go, go, go.

- Run, Amber.

- [Amber] I'm coming!

[dramatic music]

- Woo [laughs]!

- Welcome to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

- [Ron and Kelly] Thank you.

- Ron and Kelly, you're team number one.

- All right!

- Just by the skin of your teeth.

Rob and Amber comin' in.

- Good job, guys.

[Amber laughs]

- Rob and Amber?

- Yeah?

- You're team number two.

- Woo!

- What a race.

- All right, so who's gonna win outta you guys?

- Hey, it's all won today.

- Okay. - That's it.

- We're gonna win.

- Confident? - Freakin' happy.

- Yes.

- And you're confident as well?

- Yeah, we are.

[dramatic music]

- Uchenna and Joyce,

you're the last team to arrive.

- We figured as much. - Yeah.

That flat tire did not help.

- I'm pleased to tell you however,

this is a non elimination leg

and you are both still in the race.

You still have a chance to win the one million dollar prize.

- [Uchenna] Oh, thank God!

- The bad news is I need to take all your money from you.

Man, you guys got some money.

- Yeah, we do. - Yeah.

- All right, guys, and I also need you

to hand over all your possessions.

Thank you very much.

In addition, you guys will not be receiving

any money at the start of the next leg of the race.

And you need to start that leg

with zero dollars to your name.

It's gonna be tough,

especially in the final leg of the race.

- The two things they haven't taken from us

are our heart and our minds,

and those are workin' in fine order.

We just have to let the chips fall where they may.

Finish line's not far away.

- We've gone through some serious challenges.

I've cut all my hair off

just to prove that I'm competitive.

We're in it to win and be the last team standing.

- Find out who wins "The Amazing Race"

when the next leg begins in just a few minutes.

[dramatic music]

[upbeat music]

This is Montego Bay.

On the rugged northwest coast of Jamaica,

and along the white sand beaches is Round Hill.

This acre plantation

was the th Pit Stop in a race around the world.

After a mandatory rest period,

the teams will leave on the last leg of the race.

There are no more eliminations

before reaching the finish line,

so this leg will be a three-way competition

for one million dollars.

Ron and Kelly, who were the first to arrive at : p.m.-

- All right!

- [Phil] Will depart at : a.m.

- "Travel by taxi towards the city of Lucea,

and pick up one bag of onions."

- [Phil] Teams must now travel by taxi miles

to the city of Lucea.

Once there, they must find this shack and pick up onions.

They must take the onions to this small restaurant

and chop them up.

When all the onions are cut up,

a chef will hand them their next clue.

- All right, let's go.

I truly, truly care about Ron,

and that's the part that's hard for me to accept.

I believed so much in my heart

that this was gonna work out and he was the one,

but reality sets in and this is where my faith comes in.

The Lord's always takin' care of me and he still will.

Are you a taxi?

No.

Come on, come on.

- Well, heck, where are we gonna walk to?

Kelly has to take all that emotion

and push it out to the side

for us to win a million dollars, you know?

We have to pull it together.

This isn't the time to be worrying

about where do we stand

when we go home and things like that.

We can do that when we go home.

Right now, it's about bein' a team and winnin'.

We need a taxi. - Can you call a taxi?

- You need a taxi? - Yes, please.

- [Ron] And don't call them one.

This is a race, a competition and they're behind us.

- Oh, okay, so you want to cheat on the race?

- No, it ain't cheatin'.

Just don't help them. - Okay.

- "Cool Breeze House Onion Shack.

Two teams have $ on this leg of the race,

and one team has $."

Let's go.

- We gotta hustle. - We're right here.

Here we are gettin' ready to start

the very last leg of the race and couldn't be happier.

We really have been workin' together perfectly.

- Amber's been the most amazing partner

anybody could ever have.

I'm proud of her.

It's not possible that anyone's gonna win

"The Amazing Race" except Amber and I.

End of story.

Here comes someone.

- [Kelly] Hey.

- [Rob] You guys wanna share and split it?

- [Kelly] No.

All right, we're goin' to Lucea.

- [Rob] Can you call a taxi for us?

- You need another one?

- Yeah, please.

- Yeah, man. - Go ahead, go ahead.

- Don't tell any other taxis to go back and get them, okay?

- You don't want them to get a taxi?

- No, we want them - No, we don't.

- to stand out there for a long time.

- All right, honey, this is it.

- Here we go, finish line. - Where are we goin'?

"Travel by taxi towards the city of Lucea.

Two teams will have $ for this leg of the race.

One team has $."

That'll be us.

Okay, we gotta go find somebody.

- All right,

let's see what we can do. - All right, let's go.

Uchenna and I are in last place

and we're startin' out with no money.

- No backpacks.

Everything is in the white bag.

Passports and everything.

Joyce and I are still here for a reason,

and it isn't to come in last.

Airport, maybe if we get to the airport

we could convince somebody.

- [Joyce] Do you know how far Lucea's about an hour?

- [Uchenna] Lucea.

- Lucea's actually miles away from here.

- We gotta get a taxi.

We don't have any money.

Could you...

Is it on the way past the airport?

- [Clerk] You're going in the opposite direction.

- Opposite direction.

I don't know what to do.

- We have to get where there's people,

'cause at this point with no money,

with no resources at all,

our options are limited.

[dramatic music]

- We gotta find some people we can beg

and bum some money from.

- [Uchenna] Let's just get to the airport.

We just have to see if we can

get somebody to give us transportation.

- [Amber] Uchenna and Joyce are more behind it looks like.

- Yeah, I know.

This is our taxi.

Taxi?

Hop in.

You know where the Cool Breeze House Onion Shack is?

On Highway A? - Yes.

- Okay. - Ambulance.

Hi, how you guys doin'?

Can you give us a lift to the airport?

- [Driver] No, we have to be standing by.

- [Uchenna] Oh, to go another place?

- Yeah. - Ah, okay.

- [Kelly] It says it's off of Highway A.

Do you know where Highway A is?

- Highway? - A.

- [Kelly] Let's ask somebody where this is.

[hand banging]

- Acho, hello.

- Please hurry [chuckles].

- [Driver] Huh?

- Just please hurry, we gotta hurry.

- Let's go. - Yeah, let's go, please.

[dramatic music]

- [Rob] Cool Breeze House Onion Shack.

- [Amber] This is it?

- [Rob] This is it.

- [Amber] Baby, you have good eyes.

Take the lightest bag.

- Let's go. - All right.

- All right.

And now we're on our way to the Dives Jerk Shack.

- [Ron] We're trying to find

the Cool Breeze House Onion Shack.

- [Officer] You go down the highway and it's on that side.

- [Kelly] That side?

- All right, so we have some direction.

It seems to be a little bit difficult to find.

It's kinda like a needle in a haystack of needles.

- We don't have no money.

We lost our luggage.

- Can you give us a lift? - So, are we far

from the airport?

- [Driver] Not too far.

- Can you take us there? - Come on in.

Let me take you there.

- Thank you.

We've been blessed to find a guy

who's willing to take us to the airport.

We have to go into the airport and beg for money.

The first blessing has started

by a very good man here.

- [Ron] This is it.

- [Kelly] Can you wait one second while we go in?

- Let's go. - Okay.

Dives Jerk Shack.

- Thank you very much. - Appreciate it.

- Thank you, thank you.

[indistinct]

Oh, what a good guy.

Save our lives.

Let's go on in.

- There it is, Dives.

Pull in here, please.

Come on, babe.

Hello.

How many do we have to do?

- onions. [Amber smirks]

- [Rob] That's how fine you need to get 'em?

- [Chef] Yeah, this is how I want 'em.

- [Rob] No problem.

- When you're finished chopping, you put it in the pot.

- [Rob] Got ya.

- Here's your Kn*fe.

Begin.

[dramatic music]

- [Rob] A little bit smaller, you got it.

Careful you don't cut your hands.

onions this is gonna take awhile.

[dramatic music]

- Dives. - Right here.

- [Kelly] Will you wait for us?

- All right, grab our bag of onions outta the back.

- Ron and Kelly just showed up.

We're only about onions in.

So now the great onion chopping contest will start.

[dramatic music]

- I'm not good at cutting things at all.

- [Rob] I'm very fast.

When I was a kid my mother used

to put me in the basement and make me chop onions.

- [Amber] [laughs] Whatever.

- [Rob] Where's Uchenna and Joyce?

- [Ron] I don't know.

- Good morning.

How's everybody doing today?

Listen, my name is Uchenna.

I'm from Houston, Texas.

This is my wife, Joyce.

We've lost all our luggage and all our money.

I'm not really accustomed to beggin'

or anything like that but if you could spare

any money I can do cartwheels, I can dance a jig,

anything to entertain you.

- Please.

- Can anybody spare a dime?

- [Man] No.

- [Man] No.

I'm not into it I'm afraid.

- I understand.

That's perfectly...

I guess...

- [Man] Good luck to you.

- Thanks.

Appreciate it.

- [sniffling] What are we gonna do?

- Hey, don't cry, don't cry,

don't cry, don't cry, don't cry.

It's all right.

Hey.

We're in it to do it, you know?

All we can do is just keep tryin'.

It's all right, it's all right, babe.

Don't cry.

[dramatic music]

[Joyce sobbing] [pensive music]

It's all right, babe.

- I don't know what to do.

- [Uchenna] That's all right, babe.

- [Joyce] I watch you keeping the faith.

I'm just...

- [Uchenna] We have to, we have to.

- [Joyce] We've been beggin' forever.

- Don't cry, babe.

It's all right.

Yeah.

We're in this together.

One buck at a time if we have to.

[dramatic music]

[knives thudding]

- My eyes are startin' to go and I can't even see anymore.

We're almost done.

[dramatic music]

- Martha Stewart, look out.

- [Uchenna] My name is Uchenna.

- Maxine. - Maxine and?

- Elaine. - Elaine.

Hi, nice to meet you. - Sorry.

- This is my wife, Joyce.

- I'm sorry, I'm Joyce.

- Sorry, stop, stop, stop, stop.

Anyway, we were just wondering

if you could spare any monies that you have, any extra.

I mean, you don't have to,

but I just appreciate it.

- I'm sorry, Sir, this is all I have.

- Oh, thank you very much.

I appreciate it.

- Let's see what happens.

We just gotta keep pushin'.

We need a taxi.

We goin' to Lucea

with U.S. dollars. - We only have $.

That's all we have.

We begged for it.

- [Driver] Okay, get in.

- Get in.

So we go to Cool Breeze House of Onion Shack.

- [Driver] Yeah, man.

- Yeah.

[dramatic music]

- My back's hurtin' from choppin' onions.

Who said cookin' wasn't hard work?

- [Chef] This looks okay.

- [Rob] Thank you.

- And here's your next clue.

- Thank you. - Thank you very much.

- "Travel by taxi to Rose Great Hall."

- [Phil] Teams must now make their way nearly miles

to Rose Hall Great House Resort, a former plantation house.

It's here that teams will find their next clue.

- "Rose Hall Great House."

Okay, let's go, let's go.

- [Ron] Dang it.

- We gotta get there as soon as possible

and hopefully keep our lead on Ron and Kelly.

- I'll tell you what, Rob's got fear in his eyes,

and he's had it for the last couple days.

They know they have competition.

I mean, it'd only take an idiot

not to know they have competition at this point.

So, maybe Rob's an idiot.

All right, onions.

- Okay.

This is your next clue.

- Thank you.

"Travel by taxi to Rose Hall Great House."

All right. - All right, let's go.

Go, go, get in.

- Please hurry. - Thanks, we gotta go.

Woo! - We gotta catch up.

[dramatic music]

- [Uchenna] Where the hell is this damn place?

- I don't know.

It's a long day so far.

- It's been a long day, it's not even nine o'clock yet.

[dramatic music]

- We need to pass this truck.

- All right, let's get around this truck

and let's get there.

It's not happening.

We're gonna lose this thing on the driver.

- We're right behind Rob and Amber

and we're hopin' to catch up with 'em on the road.

It'll work out for us.

We'll catch 'em.

- Honey.

I'm gonna keep pushin' till we can't push anymore.

Or at least till somebody tells us not to.

[dramatic music]

- Rose Hall.

They're right behind us. - Yep.

- We caught up with 'em,

so my onion choppin' skills came in handy.

- Stop here.

You see it?

- [Amber] No, I'm lookin'.

There it is.

- [Rob] Straight ahead.

- [Ron] There's the box.

Come on, babe.

- "Detour."

- A Detour's a choice between two tasks,

each with its own pros and cons.

In this Detour teams have to choose

between Pony Up and Tee It Up.

In Pony Up, teams make their way to this beach

and participate in a local sport

known as horseback swimming.

Teams must ride a horse into the ocean,

and once the horse starts to swim,

they must slide off and hold onto the tail.

Teams will have to go around these buoys

before heading back to shore

where they'll receive their next clue.

Teams do not need to know how

to ride a horse to do the task.

However, they'll only be able to go

as fast as the horse can swim.

In Tee It Up, teams make their way to this golf course,

choose a set of clubs and dress

in appropriate golfing attire.

Then they'll head out to the driving range,

and alternate teeing off.

When either partner hits this foot area yards away,

they'll receive their next clue.

If teams have a good swing, they'll be able to finish fast.

However, hitting this small area for a novice

could take a long time.

- Definitely the golf.

- I can do the Tee It Up I think.

- You think?

- I've had those golf lessons.

- [Rob] Come on.

- Good morning, Sir. - Thank you.

We're here to play golf. - Clothes shop?

Clothes shop, here.

- [Rob] Where's the clothes with our names on it?

- Bathrooms are in the back. - Okay.

[dramatic music]

See ya later, buddy.

Let's go, baby.

- Comin'. - Let's go.

- [Amber] I'm comin'!

- Let's go, let's go, run.

- Ron?

What's goin' on?

- [Ron] Shut up, I'm doin' it as fast as I can.

[dramatic music]

- Cool Breeze House Onion Shack.

Oh my God! - Unbelievable.

- All right, we just gotta pick these up.

- [Uchenna] We just take 'em?

- Okay. - There's onions in here.

- All right.

- Now off to the grille. - Now we gotta

get to the grille.

- Dives Jerk Shack? - Yeah, man, I know that.

- Oh, he knows it! - Oh, yes!

[Joyce laughs] [dramatic music]

- [Amber] I'm swimming in these clothes!

- Just take the bag down there.

- Just put it on the green?

- [Man] Hit it on to that flag, yes.

- Into the wind.

Baby, get ready 'cause we gotta alternate.

That sucked.

Just get a bunch of 'em and keep hittin' 'em.

- [Ron] Wow, this is unbelievable right here.

- [Kelly] Yeah.

- [Rob] Come on, baby, go.

- We have to land one on the green.

- Go right after. - Honey, I'm going.

- [Kelly] Okay, go.

- Dang!

I knew not playin' golf would not work out

in my favor at some point in my life.

- Ah!

[Kelly gasps]

- [Ron] Where on earth did that one go?

- Just go quick, baby.

Just hit it quick.

[Amber gaps]

[Amber laughing]

[dramatic music]

- We could be here all day.

- [Uchenna] Let's go around the front.

Good morning. - Morning.

- Morning.

- [Uchenna] How many we gotta cut?

- All of 'em? - All of them.

- All of 'em.

Now, how do you cut these things.

You gotta cut 'em small, huh?

- [Joyce] These are dull knives [laughs].

- [Uchenna] We may be an expert

by the time we're done here, huh?

- This is tough.

[energetic music]

- These are some really good balls.

I know my dad would be impressed.

- Not enough.

Just go quick, baby.

Just hit it quick.

- There you go.

Go, come on.

Stay in there.

Dang!

- That might be it.

I'm on, I'm on!

- Done? - Clue.

- Here you go.

- Thank you.

"Fly to San Juan Puerto Rico."

- [Phil] Teams must fly nearly miles

to San Juan Puerto Rico.

Once teams land, they must find the marked cars

and then drive themselves nine miles

to the Castillo San Felipe del Morro Fort

to find their next clue.

- Come on, we gotta go.

- Goodness, I was hittin' 'em all right,

and now I can't hit crap.

- Get the cab driver!

Let's go. - Okay, let's go, let's go.

- We got a timetable.

Airport.

Sangster International.

There's a direct flight at : a.m

on Air Jamaica, flight number .

Go fast, please.

We have only minutes.

[anticipatory music]

- Boy, this does start to burn your eyes.

- We're very tired.

We need- - Tired and hungry.

- We don't have anymore water.

So, we're on fumes here, we're workin' on fumes.

Just pure desire.

So, we're not quittin'.

[dramatic music]

- [Ron] I'm diggin' a hole over here.

I don't know why I really suck at golf.

- Just hit the ball.

Oh, I think I did it, I did it!

- Yeah? - I did it.

- [Ron] Good job, babe.

- "Fly to San Juan Puerto Rico."

- Okay, let's go. - Let's go.

- Good job.

- Thank you very much. - Thank you.

- [Kelly] To the airport.

- I just couldn't hit crap,

so I deserve a pick a* right through the scalp.

[Kelly scoffs]

- Come on.

Air Jamaica.

Come on, baby.

Come on, we gotta hurry.

Excuse me, is the : flight still there?

- Do you have bookings?

- [Rob and Amber] No.

- Do you have tickets?

- No, we wanna buy them right now.

- We need to buy them right now.

Please, please, Catherine,

this will change my life, my life.

- I know, Sir, but- - No you don't.

I'm tellin' you, like-

- We can't take you on the flight

for security reasons.

- Please, please, Ma'am. - Please, it's an emergency.

- [Rob] Ma'am, my mother-

- Just go to the ticket office.

It's right over there.

- It's right there?

This sucks.

- [Amber] Can we buy tickets for the : flight?

- [Rob] Please, can you help me?

They said they'll hold it for us.

- They said we can get on. - Please, please, Sir.

You can't help me, please?

I'm sick to my stomach.

You can't help me?

Please? - We're screwed.

- [Rob] Unbelievable.

Unbelievable.

[dramatic music]

- [Amber] I can't believe

they wouldn't let us on this flight.

- [Rob] Unbelievable.

- [Amber] Let's go to another airline.

- American.

What time is your next flight

to San Juan, Puerto Rico from here?

- Our : a.m. flight is delayed,

to go at :.

So that's the one you'll be on.

- :? seriously? - : this morning?

- Yes.

- Yes!

- [Rob] Come here.

[Amber chuckles]

Thank you. - Thank you for the business.

These are your boarding passes.

Flight it is.

- Thank you very much. - Thank you.

- Thank you.

- [Rob] This way, baby.

They're gonna be comin' any minute.

- [Ron] I think I wanna go to American.

We need to get to the San Juan as soon as possible.

- We'll take any flight.

Do you know if Rob Mariano got on that earlier flight?

- Oh, that flight is delayed.

- It's delayed? - Yeah.

- Can we get on that flight? - Can we get on it?

- You're gonna have to run straight down,

through security, through immigrations,

upstairs. - We can run fast.

- 'Cause we kinda really need a break.

- No, you won't make it, trust me.

[dramatic music]

[mellow music]

- Hello.

- [Flight Attendant] We'll begin.

Welcome aboard American...

[engine roaring] [music continues]

- We are on the : flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico,

'cause I'm sure Rob and Amber made that flight.

- [Ron] I don't see how on earth

they could not be on that flight.

- [Kelly] Thank you very much.

- [Gate Agent] You're welcome.

- [Ron] That's kinda a thorn in your side so to speak.

- [Uchenna] Whew.

[dramatic music]

- [Joyce] We're gettin' down there, honey.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

- Yeah.

That's it.

Okay?

- Fair enough.

There is the clue. - Thank you.

- "Travel by taxi to Rose Hall Great House."

- [Uchenna] Rose Hall, that's back in Montego Bay.

- I know exactly where that is.

I live close to there.

- You'll take us there? - Yeah, man.

- Oh, bless you.

We're pretty far behind the other two teams,

but we're still hopeful.

We're not givin' up yet.

[dramatic music]

- [Rob] Come on, baby.

In here.

Let's rock.

- What do you want me to look for now?

- Del Morro it's called.

- Del Moro, it's right here on this map.

- [Rob] Okay.

- [Amber] We're goin' towards Old San Juan.

- [Rob] Yeah, on this road?

- Yeah, that's what it says. - Okay,

we're all set then.

[dramatic music]

- [Joyce] Great House.

- There's the clue box.

All right.

- "Detour.

Pony It Up or Tee It Up?"

Do you wanna- - Tee It Up.

- Tee It Up? - Yeah.

I've been practicin' golf at home

and yards isn't too bad.

- [Joyce] Okay.

[mellow music]

- [Rob] Oh, look at this, babe.

- [Amber] I know.

- This is one castle right here, babe.

- The name of the place baby,

is called Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

- Del Morro.

Yeah, this is it.

I think it's gonna be up by the castle.

There it is, almost.

"Drive yourself to the town of Aguadilla."

- [Phil] Teams must now drive themselves miles

to the town of Aguadilla,

and find this abandoned sugar refinery known

as El Muelle de Azucar.

Once there, they must follow the marked path

to find their next clue.

- Come on.

Come on, baby, almost there.

[dramatic music]

Route South?

- Yeah.

- Okay, 'cause I'm on Route South now.

We're doin' all right today with the directions I tell ya.

[dramatic music]

- Boarding pass here, Sir.

[Ron groans]

[engine roaring]

- [Uchenna] Let's do it.

- Good luck.

- Okay, thank you.

- Oh. - Okay.

- That went way over there.

- Just make contact with the ball.

[Joyce blows raspberry]

You did better than me.

[dramatic music]

- Right there. - That's the one, right there.

That's the one.

Cool, we're done. - Yes!

Good job. - All right.

- Good job, honey. - Thank you, Sir.

- Okay.

"Fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico."

- Okay, let's get outta here.

- Are you kidding me [laughs]?

- Let's do it!

Airport.

We could actually catch up.

- [Joyce] That was a good sh*t, honey.

- We're still in this thing. - we're still doin' it.

- We just can't give up.

- Yeah. - Right?

- Right.

- Right.

[dramatic music]

- Look at this.

Every single person on the whole island of Puerto Rico

is in this traffic jam.

- I'd think you'd be used to it.

You have to drive in Boston traffic all the time.

- [Rob] When I'm drivin' in traffic in Boston

I'm not tryin' to win a million dollars.

[dramatic music]

- [Uchenna] Respect.

All right, he's a good man.

- [Joyce] Okay, we're back here at this place.

Do you guys have any direct flights

to San Juan, Puerto Rico?

- [Gate Agent] We have a flight at : this afternoon.

- Can we get the : one.

- Okay. - Thank you very much.

- You have a good flight. - Thank you so much.

- [Uchenna] All right, we're set.

We'll see if we can find some friends.

- We need some cash.

[Uchenna laughs]

I'm not beatin' around the bush.

- [Man] There's a beer to go with it.

- Thank you, man. - Thank you.

- Hey, thank you so much.

- Okay, you're welcome. - Give us a hug.

[indistinct]

- Mm hm.

- [Uchenna] Whew, rough day.

[engine roaring]

- Right now we're in the town of Aguadilla

and we are looking for El Muelle de Azucar.

Is this it?

: to four?

Well, what are we supposed to do?

- [Amber] There's a hotel right at the top of the hill.

We should go get that well needed rest.

[dramatic music]

- [Ron] Which on you want, the middle one?

- [Kelly] Sure.

- [Ron] We wanna head towards San Juan, Kelly.

- San Juan to the right.

You just follow the signs to San Juan

and as we follow those signs

it'll give us signs for the Castillo.

- [Rob] Not bad, not bad.

- [Amber] I don't mind this at all.

Now we're gonna get some good rest.

[dramatic music]

- [Ron] That's it right there.

Okay, go, go, go, go.

- I see it, I see it.

"Drive yourselves to the town of Aguadilla."

- Let's go.

All right, so we wanna go to Aguadilla.

Go back the same way we just came.

[engine roaring]

- [Joyce] This could be it right here.

- That's it. Sweet.

I think we're goin' in the right direction.

- Is this Castillo San Felipe del Morro?

- [Uchenna] And we need a parking area.

Good job.

All right.

- "Search the outside area for a clue."

- [Uchenna] Let's get our butts up there.

Come on.

Here's the box, come on.

Whew.

- "Find El Muelle de Azucar."

- [Uchenna] Okay, let's do it.

- [Kelly] Here's the gate.

- [Ron] Except it doesn't open till :.

- You wanna try and find a hotel or lay in the car?

- I can do the car.

- [Kelly] Okay.

- Good job, woman.

- [Uchenna] Ah, a little rain.

- Yeah, they could already be

at the finish line already sleeping.

But maybe there's still another day of activity tomorrow.

And if so, that's real helpful.

- [Uchenna] Oh [laughs].

There's people still in cars, huh?

- [Joyce] Do you think?

- [Uchenna] Yeah, that might be.

- Oh my God! - Oh man.

What's up, kids?

- [Kelly] I'm glad y'all made it.

- [Uchenna] Oh, we're glad we made it.

You guys are waitin' for this place to open?

- [Kelly] Yeah.

- [Uchenna] All right, see you in the morning.

Wow, we're back in this thing.

- [Joyce] Thank goodness.

It's refreshing to see some familiar faces.

- [Uchenna] I'm glad those gates closed at four today.

[rooster crows] [dramatic music]

- Everybody's here.

Uchenna and Joyce, too.

- Can we go? - Go, go, go, go.

- Come on, Ron. - Run fast.

Right here, right here, run fast.

[dramatic music]

- Come on, hon. - There it is, there it is,

there it is.

- [Rob] Come on, baby.

- [Uchenna] Come on, baby.

- There's the box. - There is the box.

- We gotta open up the clue. - Come on.

- [Rob] Road Block.

- Road Block.

- "Who's ready to take the plunge?"

- I'll take it.

- A Road Block is a task

that only one person may perform,

and no one can do more than six on the entire race.

In this Road Block,

that person has to make a potentially terrifying jump

off this foot bridge.

After they've made the leap,

they'll have to swim yards to retrieve their next clue,

then climb in a boat that will take them back to shore.

- Hey, baby, you have to do this.

There's a platform, baby, out there.

- [Amber] Where do I go?

- [Rob] Follow the marked path.

- [Amber] Come on, let's go.

- Okay. - You got it?

- Let's go. - Follow the signs.

- Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go!

You just follow the marked path.

- [Joyce] You're gonna go for it?

- Yeah. - Okay.

Go, honey.

You're a good swimmer.

- I don't know where Ron and Uchenna went.

[dramatic music]

- Dang, that wind's blowin'.

- [Uchenna] Oh my God.

- Wait, Amber, are both supposed to be goin' down here?

Where's Ron?

- I don't know, honey.

We gotta go back up here.

You gotta go off the platform.

Come on!

- Woo hoo!

[water splashing] [dramatic music]

- [Rob] Where is this place, baby?

[music continues]

- [Uchenna] That first step was a doozy.

Woo hoo hoo hoo!

[water splashing] [dramatic music]

- [Rob] Come on, honey, come on.

Come on, Amber.

[dramatic music]

- Okay, go, go, go, go.

[engine revving] [music continues]

- [Uchenna] Got it.

Let's move out.

- [Rob] Oh no.

- [Amber] They're already done.

How do we get down there?

- [Rob] I have no idea.

Like, coulda cost us a million bucks.

We're screwed.

Oh no.

- [Amber] They're already done.

How do we get down there?

- Go down these stairs and go out there.

Hey, gimme a kiss.

Do good.

[dramatic music]

- Come on!

You got a clue?

Let's go!

"Fly to your final destination city, Miami, Florida."

- [Phil] Teams must now drive themselves miles

to San Juan International Airport,

and then fly more than , miles to Miami, Florida,

the final destination city.

[upbeat music]

When they land, they'll have to travel

by taxi nine miles to the Rickenbacker Causeway.

It's here that teams will find their next clue.

- Let's go.

- You done, honey?

Woo!

That was good.

"Fly to your final destination, Miami, Florida."

Come on, baby.

[dramatic music]

- [Amber] Oh, good God.

- See ya.

- [Kelly] Hey.

- Woo hoo!

[water splashing] [dramatic music]

[Amber grunts]

Come on, let's go, let's go.

[engine revving]

- [Joyce] Come on, Uchenna.

- [Uchenna] Where am I goin'?

- San Juan International Airport.

- Oh my God.

- Rob and Amber went the wrong way,

so maybe they're a good bit behind us.

- Come on, baby!

"Fly to your final destination city, Miami, Florida."

Come on, baby, million bucks.

- [Amber] I can't run.

- [Rob] You can do it, you can do it.

- [Amber] No!

- Jump on my back.

Jump!

[Amber groans]

We're not stopping, it's almost there.

Get in.

We gotta go to San Juan.

Good job, way to work.

- [Amber] The other teams really aren't that far ahead.

We can catch up to them.

[dramatic music]

- [Joyce] Look, Ron and Kelly.

- [Uchenna] He's gonna try to push past us.

He knows we all get to the airport at the same time.

Here they come.

- Oh, yes!

Golly.

[dramatic music]

- I think the other teams are right up here.

- Jeez, that's Rob and Amber comin' up.

- Just pick the right lane.

Just don't get behind him.

- [Kelly] Rob and Amber caught up with us.

[dramatic music]

- Come on, we can get ahead of 'em right here,

takin' this lane right here.

There's Ron and Kelly.

Yeah, baby.

- [Kelly] They past us.

And Ron picks the longest line to get into.

- Don't pick on me, I start pickin' on you, all right?

- [Joyce] Dang.

- [Rob] Thank you.

We chose the right lane at the toll booths.

First position [laughs].

- We gotta go.

Thanks.

- Thank you.

- Sucks.

We just gotta push to do what we gotta do.

[dramatic music]

- Here we go.

Here's the airport, Amber.

- [Amber] Airport, that's what you want.

- [Rob] All the airplane signs make it pretty easy.

- Okay, babe...

I'm not positive.

- Airport to the left.

Go to the right!

- [Ron] You said to the left.

- The sign up there said turn left.

I'm reading the sign out loud.

- [Ron] This is left.

- Well, open your eyes and read the signs.

It's right in front of you. - I couldn't see

the stinkin' sign.

You said left, this is the left.

Don't go off on me 'cause I don't understand

what you're sayin' 'cause you said the wrong thing.

- Shut up please and be quiet.

- You shut up.

- Here it is.

should take us right in, too.

- Gettin' close.

There it is.

- [Rob] Just go.

Ticketing, ticketing, ticketing.

This way, this way, this way.

Yep. Pull in there.

but you little things - I don't care,

just save it. - and digs at me.

- Just close it. - Just-

- 'Cause I don't care to hear it.

- That whole, "Close it" thing right there drives me insane.

I think it's very disrespectful and rude.

- Well, okay, then.

Just stop talkin' 'cause I don't care to hear it.

Such a gentlemen. - Right now we're trying

to find the right- - True American

gentleman right there.

It's closed, the door up there?

- Yeah, it's closed. - Thank you [laughs].

- It's :, but- - What airline was that?

- [Joyce] American.

She probably figured we couldn't have made it.

- Come on, baby.

Let's put the bag up,

that way we can sit down.

We can't afford to be carrying around any extra weight,

so we're gonna leave our backpacks on the plane.

Hopefully somebody will send 'em to us.

- Can we please make it?

Can we make it on this flight?

You think they came here?

- I almost guarantee you they came here.

- We made it. - Paid off.

[dramatic music]

- [Uchenna] Did you happen to let two Americans

go on there wearin' red?

- [Gate Agent] Yes.

- [Uchenna] Damn it.

- They're on the flight?

- [Uchenna] Yeah, they're on that flight.

They're just closin' it.

There's no way we can get on that flight, huh?

- [Gate Agent] No, I'm sorry.

It's closed.

- Oh, man.

That's it.

Like idiots we didn't [grunts]...

[dramatic music]

[gate agents speaking faintly]

- [Joyce] Please, please?

- [Uchenna] Just let us on this thing.

- Can we make it on this flight?

- [Gate Agent] I will check with the pilot.

- [Uchenna] Maybe, maybe.

One little blessing.

If we could just get one little blessing

on this flight right now.

All we went through on our last flight.

- Oh, look, they're moving it.

Maybe.

- Oh my God.

- [Rob] Are you kiddin' me?

- Sweet! - Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe.

- [Rob] This is killin' me.

- Can we please make it?

- [Gate Agent] The pilot says yes.

- Thank you! - Oh, you guys are beautiful.

- [Joyce] Oh my God, I'm gonna cry.

Thank you so much. - Don't cry, baby.

- Thank you.

- Okay. - Oh, thank you very much.

Oh, you guys,

to get to Miami as fast as possible.

- The next available is gonna be on the :.

- [Uchenna] Let's go!

- We need a cab. There's one.

- [Uchenna] Do you know where the Rickenbacker Causeway?

- [Joyce] Rickenbacker Causeway.

- Yeah, get in.

- Okay. - Okay, cool.

Driver, we're gonna end up stopping under the causeway.

- And we're off again.

Bit of a wild ride now.

We in the game.

It's us against them.

- Well we hope that Ron and Kelly

weren't able to get any other flights

that we don't know about,

so we can't count 'em out. - Yeah.

[dramatic music]

- [Rob] The lower level yes?

- Right here, right here.

- Stop, stop, stop.

- Let's go. - Wait here!

Come on, baby.

"Make your way to Little Havana

and find The King of the Havanas'."

- [Phil] Teams must now travel two and a half miles

to Little Havana, a Cuban/American community

where they'll search among the many stores

to find this cigar shop, The King of the Havanas'.

Teams must figure out that this shop

is known by its Spanish name, El Rey de los Habanos.

It's here teams will find their next clue.

- [Rob] Calle Ocho.

Let's go.

Okay, Little Havana, Calle Ocho.

What is The King of the Havanas'?

- I know Calle Ocho, but I don't know exactly.

- Okay, go to Calle Ocho in Little Havana

and we'll find out.

- All we have to do

is just stay positive and make it happen.

- Oo, we can go past. - Yeah.

- Good driver.

- [Driver] This is Calle Ocho.

- This is it? - Right.

- Okay.

Stop right here.

The King of the Havanas'.

Do you know it? - I don't know.

- [Rob] You own it?

No, you don't know where it is?

Somebody has gotta know where this is.

[dramatic music]

- Right there, right there, right there, right there.

Okay, stop, stop, stop. - Ah, there it is.

- Let's get out. - Okay.

- [Joyce] We'll be right back.

- Whew!

- Okay. - Come on.

- This says "King of Havanas' on Calle Ocho."

- Ocho. Okay.

- [Joyce] To The King of Havanas'.

- You know this place, The King?

- [Driver] Yes, I could surely use the meter,

but you know, I don't think we can go up there.

- We'll take care of you. - I'll take care of you.

- We'll take care of you.

- [Amber] Do any of you know where The King of the Havana

is on this street? - Do you know

King of the Havanas'?

- [Amber] King of the Havana?

[woman speaking faintly]

- [Rob] Huh?

- [Man] th Avenue.

- [Rob] th and th is the King of the Havanas'?

You're sure? - Yeah.

- th Ave.

Go, go, go. Yeah, go.

- Let's ask somebody.

- Do you speak Spanish? - Yeah.

- [Driver] Do you know where the King of the Havanas' is?

- Eleventh Street. - Eleventh. Thank you.

- Okay. - You got it?

- Yeah. - All right, you the man.

- That's th right there, yeah?

- Right here. - Okay.

Pull over here, here.

to Rickenbacker Causeway. - Rickenbacker Causeway.

Please Lord, help us be the first team.

[dramatic music]

- I mean, if we don't have faith in God,

and faith in what's goin' on, - I know, we have faith.

- I mean, it's the only way

we're gonna be able to win this thing.

- Oh, to the right, - Bonnet House!

- I know, but we'll get some. - Can I sell you my ring?

- [Driver] No, I don't need rings.

- [Uchenna] I know you don't, I know you don't.

- [Driver] That's not what I'm working for, guys.

You know, I do all of that [indistinct].

- I understand. - No, wait,

But I still love you.

The cab driver said, "Cool."

[dramatic music]

- Uchenna and Joyce, Uchenna and Joyce,

Uchenna and Joyce.

[all cheering] [audience applauding]

- What?

- Uchenna and Joyce,

[Joyce laughs]

after five continents, cities,

and more than , miles, - Yes?

- you are the official winners.

- Oh, yeah! [Joyce screaming]

Oh my God!

[all cheering] [audience applauding]

[Uchenna cheering]

Woo!

Woo!

Hell yeah! - Thank you.

- As the winners of "The Amazing Race,"

you have won the one million dollar prize.

Congratulations.

- Woo!

- Give me love, give me love.

Yeah!

Yeah!

- Love you guys!

[all cheering] [audience applauding]

- Woo!

- Woo!

[man laughs]

This is a life changing experience.

- Oh yeah. - Oh my God!

- Tell me how this is gonna change

your life now that this has all happened.

- Hey, listen, we're goin' for a baby.

[all cheering] [audience applauding]

- Woo!

- In vitro here we come, baby!

[all cheering]

Yeah!

And if that doesn't work, adoption here we come!

[all cheering] [audience applauding]

- Love you guys! - Love you guys.

- This experience wouldn't

have been what it was without you guys.

- [Contestant] You guys are good people.

- We're proud of you. - Thank you.

Thank each and every one of you.

- We said a prayer, and while we were saying our prayers,

I was sayin' I hear y'all's prayers for us.

I heard everybody's prayers.

And it just made us stronger

'cause we knew we had love from you guys

and our families and everybody,

so thank you guys. - And you know

the love was comin' back, right?

- [Contestants] Yeah!

- Right?

- [Contestants] Yeah!

[all applauding]

- [Uchenna] One more time!

- [Contestants] Woo!

- Congratulations.

[all cheering] [all applauding]

Congratulations. - Thank you.

[applause drowns out speech]

- [Contestants] Aw!

[applauding continues]

- Uchenna and Joyce.

[all applauding] [triumphant music]

- Rob and Amber, you are the second team to arrive.

- [Rob and Amber] Thank you.

- You guys were competitors right from the beginning.

Obviously not the result

that you wanted but you guys did

quite a very competitive race, that's for sure.

- Yeah.

- We gave it our all the whole way through

and right up to the end and it's frustrating,

obviously comin' in second

but hats off to Uchenna and Joyce.

- Where do you go from here?

- The next part of my life I'm lookin' forward to

is getting married and starting a family,

so that's gonna be an adventure in itself [laughs].

- [Rob] We finished second but I wouldn't change a thing.

I got Amber, so I'm in first place in my book.

- I love you.

- I love you.

[all cheering] [soft music]

- Ron and Kelly, you're the third team to arrive.

- Okay.

[all applauding] [all cheering]

- How do you see your relationship with you guys?

You wanna develop something more?

- I think I'm pretty much the typical woman

who's just ready to get married,

and walk down the aisle and start a family

and Ron to me is just kind of

that typical guy who's not ready

to get into a serious commitment,

and I think we're on different paths right now,

and I'm not sure.

I mean, I would love more than anything

for it to work out between Ron and I,

but I think time will just tell.

- "Amazing Race" was the adventure of a lifetime.

It was just a time to see things

in myself and someone else that I would never see.

It's just somethin' I'm gonna hold near

and dear to me probably for the rest of my life.

[all chattering]

- I'm so proud of us.

[all chattering]

- I was hungry as hell.

We went hours without any food.

- Well, that's not gonna happen again.

[all laughing]

- Woo hoo! - Woo!

- I've never been more proud of Joyce

than I am now and she's overcome great fears.

We've overcome some communication barriers.

We can talk now which is really nice.

We're lookin' forward to those things

really helpin' us grow more and more together.

- I love him so much.

This guy's the best partner, teammate, husband,

everything to me.

You're everything to me.

- I love you.

- I'm just glad- - It's good

to hear you say that.

It is.

- Lucky to have him.

- [Uchenna] I love you.

- [Joyce] I love you too, honey.

[all cheering] [triumphant music]

[cheering continues] [music continues]

[music continues]
