Post by bunniefuu »

I got an offer on Fairfield.

It's not exactly what we were asking, but it's definitely in the ballpark.

So you're gonna accept it?

I have to weigh all of my options, don't I?

That's what this trip's all about, isn't it?

Georgie: What are you doing?!

Going for a ride. You wanna come?

You can't! Jack would never let you!

Georgie: Hey! I'll fall! Jade: Hold on!

Woman: (On GPS) Make a left turn on range road one three five.

Jack: That doesn't look like much!

Lisa: The GPS is programmed to choose the shortest route.

Jack: Here goes nothin'.

Lisa: Nothing to worry about. Jack: (Chuckles)

Woman: (On GPS) Turn right in 100 metres.

Lisa: Hey, slow down, or you're gonna miss the turn!

I can't miss a turn that doesn't exist, Lis!

Woman on GPS unit: Recalculating.

If that thing says "recalculating" one more time, I swear I'm gonna huck it right out this window!

Okay! Gosh!

Well, what do we do?

Are we gonna go back the same way we came?

I don't think that's a good idea.

We've been on the road for hours now, we're running low on fuel...

I think the best thing to do is stay on course and hope this road ends up somewhere civilized.

Woman: (On GPS) Recalculating.

That's it!

Lisa: No, don't! Don't you dare! Don't! (Laughs)

(Rooster crows)

Amy: No, you're gonna ruin the surprise!

(Ty chuckles)

Hey, I appreciate you making me a birthday cake and everything, it's just... it's weird seeing you baking right now!

I mean when was the last time you boiled water?

Yeah, okay, I admit cooking isn't exactly my strong suit, but this is a cake, Ty, how hard can it be?

Dad, you're back!

Yeah.

Funny, I ran into Tricia downtown, and it turns out her mother is very sick and she has to leave for Toronto.

That- that's not funny.

Is everything okay?

Uh, so she asked if I would do her a favour.

What kind of favour?

Jade: Don't worry about me,

I'll just carry all this stupid crap myself!

Tim: Ty, Amy, this is Jade Virani, Tricia's daughter.

Do you guys have anything to eat?

I'm, like, starving!

(Dog pants)

Oh, hey there, roomie!

Jade?!

Who's this guy? He's really hot!

Gross! That's my brother!

And that's my charm bracelet!

Who said you could touch my stuff?!

Chill out, I was just looking at it.

Tim: Hey! Look at you two!

What is she doing here?

Jade? She's staying with us for a few days while her mother deals with a medical emergency.

My grandma's undergoing a major operation.

They say you're not supposed to have more than three facelifts in a lifetime.

This is her seventh.

Okay...

Anyway, you two hit it off so well at the fishing camp, I thought you might want to share a room together.

Gosh, Mr. Fleming, we did have a really good time.

I just love Georgia.

Georgie: It's Geor-gie!

Jade: She even let me borrow her charm bracelet.

Georgie: No, I-
Tim: Hah! Okay!

But- hmph!

Tim: So I'll see you later, and maybe I'll pick up a pizza for dinner, all right?

Bye!

Give it back!

I never said you could borrow it!

Relax, kid, I was just trying it on.

(Sighs heavily)

(Engine sputters)

(Jack sighs)

Well, it's official.

We're out of gas, and your GPS has no idea where we are!

(Lisa's door slams)

And I have no cell signal.

I can't believe it!

Okay... here's what we're gonna do: I'll head back toward the main road.

As soon as I find a cell signal, well, I'll just call for help.

And me, what am I supposed to do?

Well, you stay here.

Lisa: So if something happens to you and I end up here stranded, I'll just live off what's in my purse?!

Oh no, wait!

I have gum. I'll be good for a week, you go.

All right.

You and me, we'll go together.

Thank you!

So now what are you doing?!

I'm going to get Cinders!

I can't leave him abandoned on the side of the road!

He'll be just fine.

We can leave him where he is.

Jack, what if a logging truck comes barreling down here and smashes into the back of the trailer? No.

And what if we don't get back in time to water him and he dies of colic?

Sorry, I've invested far too much in that horse to do that!

Jack: You do what you need to do.

Please... hurry it up, we're losing daylight.

Yes, sir!

Woman: (On GPS) Continue on current route for 79.5 kilometres.
