Chuck: Hi, I'm Chuck. Here are a few things you might need to know:

Vivian: I have nothing to do with Alexei Volkoff-- I haven't seen him in years.

Sarah; Then why does he pay for the manor that you live in?

Vivian; Because I'm his daughter.

My father never gave me any key.

Yes, sweetheart, he did.

When you were young-- a token of his affection.

Your whole life your father's been grooming you.

You are his succession plan.

♪ ♪

Vivian: I give up.

Man: Strange reaction.

Most people show a bit more enthusiasm when they receive a gift.

Vivian: Sorry. Who are you?

Riley: My name is Riley.

I'm your father's lawyer.

You father left a letter for you.

(clearing throat)

(imitating Volkoff): "My dearest daughter Vivian, "as you know, "I've met an untimely demise...

Vivian: Sorry. "I... "

What are you doing?

Riley (normal voice): He specified that I read the letter in his voice.

He thought it would make you feel comfortable.

Vivian: Please stop.

Riley: I spent several weeks perfecting this.

But fine.

Uh...

"I'm sorry I was never much of a father.

"If I could do it over again, "I would trade my entire empire for another moment with you... "

(scoffs)

"but we can't relive the past, "which is why I have groomed you for the future.

"That card in my safe will help you rebuild Volkoff Industries... "

Vivian; Mr. Riley, I'm well aware that my father now wants me to take over his evil corporation.

So how can I say no?

Riley: Hmm.

Vivian; No.

Riley: Nobody ever said no to your father.

Vivian: Than I'll be the first to do it.

Riley: I'm sorry.

I can't allow that.

Now perhaps you'd like to rethink your answer.

(screaming)

Ellie: Okay, roses or orchids?

Sarah: Uh, I don't know.

Uh, roses?

What do you think?

Ellie: I think that flowers can really set the tone of a wedding. you know, roses are-- are beautiful, they're classic, they're passionate.

Not very whimsical.

Sarah: And that's good?

Ellie: If it's what you want.

Sarah: Uh, okay.

Uh, well... Orchids?

Ellie: (laughing): Sorry. Sarah...

Sarah; I'm sorry. I-I just--

I don't have a strong feeling either way.

I just don't think that maybe I'm cut out for this.

What if you just make the choices?

Ellie: Okay, you know what?

Maybe-- maybe this girly stuff is a little outside your comfort zone.

I will tell you that, at some point, every bride feels a little overwhelmed with this stuff.

I totally did.

But there was a moment where that all changed.

I remember I had gone to pick up our wedding bands and I finally held them in my hands.

And it all just became so real.

I was getting married to the man that I love, for the rest of my life.

And then I just broke down crying, which sounds ridiculous right now.

Sarah; Yeah, a little.

Ellie: A lot.

But it was a turning point, you know.

From that moment on, everything became magical.

It was my wedding.

I don't know when and I don't know where, Sarah, but I promise you, it's going to happen to you.

Morgan: You know what?

It will be very liberating.

So how is the apartment hunting going, anyway?

Morgan: It's uh... Oh, man, it couldn't be going better.

I found a place. A little pricey.

So I'm looking for a roommate right now.

Chuck: Well, that shouldn't be a problem, right?

Morgan: I hope not.

And you know what, in the meantime, it's kind of nice being at my mom's.

Chuck; Buddy, I gotta say, I'm, uh, I'm a little relieved.

Morgan: Chuck, this is needed on my part, okay?

I am growing mentally and emotionally, physically-- not so much physically.

But some people are saying that I'm acting taller.

They gave me nightmares.

Big mike: Yeah, cats.

Just a heads up-- Mm-hmm. those cats are having a romantic dinner tonight.

And there might be more cat fighting after dinner ends.

Unless your mom eats too much.

Morgan: Listen, I don't want to think about you and my mom doing... making a... slipping and...

Big mike: Son, when you move into the forest, you can't complain that the wildlife is making too much noise.

It's only natural.

And beautiful.

And frequent.

Morgan: I need my own place.

Big mike:,Yes, you do.

Sarah: So then you went to Volkoff's headquarters and you were att*cked?

Vivian: Yes.

I shouldn't have gone to Moscow.

I don't know what I was thinking.

Chuck: It's okay. You're safe here.

Sarah: Now, this man Riley-- he wants you to rebuild your father's empire?

Vivian: Yes.

But I told him I don't want to have anything to do with my father.

Chuck: Did he happen to say what his plan for rebuilding Volkoff was?

Vivian: I think this may have something to do with it.

Chuck; We need to talk to Beckman.

Beckman: So Volkoff has all of his money in the First Bank of Macau.

Sarah: We need to freeze those funds.

Beckman; We do.

But the First Bank of Macau is no easy target. it's really operated by the Guan Yi Crime Syndicate.

The guards are mercenaries.

We've lost agents inside of there before.

But we've never had an account holder working with us.

That makes Vivian the perfect asset.

With her help, we'll be able to get through the bank's security and access her father's account.

Chuck; Um, General, I'm not so sure that Vivian is really built for this sort of mission, you know.

Not to mention the fact that she was pretty clear about never wanting to see her father again.

Beckman: Well, it's your job to change all that.

You're a spy, she's an asset.

If this mission is going to work, you need to turn that girl into a Volkoff.

I need a hundred dozen.

Ellie: A hundred dozen? More?

Ellie; I'm sorry. So what did you think about the cake?

Did you like the hazelnut cream, or... ?

Sarah: I really liked it.

It reminded me of this amazing patisserie in Paris, and I think that maybe we should fly the cake in.

In fact, definitely we should fly the cake in.

Ellie: Oh, that sounds really expensive, especially after that dress that you picked out.

Sarah: Well, you only get married once, right?

And this is meant to be really special, and plus, it'll make Chuck really happy.

I should look into booking a private island for the ceremony.

Yes.

Ellie: Oh, my God.

Oh.

Chuck: Ellie.

What the heck was that?

Ellie; I think I created a monster.

Chuck: Yeah. Well...

'Cause I work... I work... I work at the Buy More, and that stuff sounds kind of pricey.

Ellie: Maybe you could just pick up a few extra shifts.

Or rob a bank.

Chuck: Ha. You...

Morgan: Oh, what's going on there, Case Logic?

Casey: Huh?

Morgan: Case Logic?

Mid-nineties, held your CDs?

All right, you're clearly not a nickname guy.

Casey: Oh, God.

Morgan; And well, look, I just wanted to apologize about, uh, you know, snooping around, man.

I just... I want you to know I just needed a place to sleep.

But, uh, between you and I, what was exactly going down there in Castle? I mean...

Casey: Nothing.

Morgan: Not very nice.

Well...

Ugh. then that wasn't, uh, some weird, mysterious door that I saw you walking out of?

Look, you're right.

I have no idea what I'm even talking about.

There's obviously some rational reason you would have a TR-476 in some weird, strange room.

And I'm just overtired.

I haven't slept, I haven't eaten.

And I just really want a place to stay.

Casey: Grimes?

Morgan: Yeah.

Casey: Are you leveraging me to stay in my apartment?

Morgan: I don't, uh...

Am I?

Let's say I was.

Is it working?

Casey: Okay.

You can stay at my place as long as you keep quiet, don't tell anyone-- especially Bartowski.

Morgan: God, Casey, you have no idea how much this means to me.

Come here.

Casey: Don't...

Don't get too excited.

Just keeping you close, make sure you keep your mouth shut.

'Cause if you don't...

I know where you live.

Morgan: (mutters): Right. 'Cause I'll...

Casey: Scram. Thank you, sir.

Morgan: Thank you.

(phone ringing)

Chuck: Vivian, it's, uh... it's Chuck and, um...

Look, I know that you must be feeling...

Just give me a call when you get a chance, uh... if you could, that'd be great.

Thanks. Bye.

Vivian: I'm ready to learn the truth about my father.
