I'm glad we met, Kerissa.

You can have shared custody.

Remember what I said
before I left for Vegas,

about the future?

Well, once we get
to the bottom of this,

we'll talk about that future.

We're ready to concede
that your blood ties

to this property
proceeded our legal ones.

- You're giving us the house?
- I lost my way.

And you, you paid the price.

All I ever wanted
was to show you

what is possible with God.

But I'm afraid
that all I ever showed you

is what is inevitable
without him.

You showed us a lot
more than that, Bishop.

- A lot more than that.

[crowd] Amen.

I think you better leave.

[Lady Mae] What's the matter?

Thank you. I knew you'd get it.

I actually was...

What? Go ahead.

You were so upfront with me

I know.

Can we just...
Can we just call it even?

- Seriously?
- [Tara] Yes.

And I'm not even talking

I can't throw your mother
out of that house

or let her leave.

Not when I know exactly
how she feels,

how you feel. I can't.

Yeah, but didn't God
promise you a blessing?

He did. But maybe the
blessing He meant me to have

is something else.

So, either way, I can't do it.

Tell your mother that she can
call me whenever she wants to

and I am sending
all my prayers to her.

Other than that,
tell her we're good.

- [woman] Thank you.

- To offer you a job?
- Basically, yeah.

But if everything goes
well this Sunday,

then you'd be back at Calvary,
wouldn't you?

Charity told Kevin and me
you'd all be associates.

I wanna be here for my family.

But every time she contacts me,
I cannot take the call.

I can't say no to her.

I don't know what to do.

I've had a situation
like this once.

Advise me, please.

For the longest time,
I tried to be straight.

I tried so hard.

But I couldn't stop being gay.

Drove me crazy.

One day, a friend of mine said,

"What do you get

that this is a choice?"
