10x05 - The Bethlehem Haunting

Post by bunniefuu »

It was causing wicked
hallucinations.

My son -- I'm afraid he'll
be traumatized for life.

He's trying to k*ll them.

- He hits me.
- Yeah? Where does he hit you?

Did you touch me?

He pulled the trigger,
blew his head off.

I'm thinking he k*lled himself.

He's whispering, "You want
to k*ll everybody."

Panic, panic, panic.

My name is Amy Allan.

I'm seeing, like, blood.

The house just feels bad.

I see dead people.

This man
is completely insane.

I speak to dead people...

Whoo. Okay.
She doesn't like it in there.

...and they speak to me.

He likes to twist that Kn*fe.

But there's only one way to know
if my findings are real.

Something paranormal
is trying to k*ll them.

I rely on my partner.

I'm Steve Di Schiavi.

I'm a retired New York City
homicide detective.

Now does he die right there,
on the spot?

I know every person,
every house has secrets.

I think it's trying
to steal my soul.

It's my job to reveal them.

You ever get touched
like that again?

But Steve and I never speak...

We never communicate
during an investigation.

...until the very end.

I'm as stunned as you guys are.

When we uncover if
it's safe for you to stay...

I don't want anything
to happen to my daughter.

Or time to get out.

His goal
is to k*ll you guys.

I'm in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

It's an old steel town about
an hour north of Philadelphia.

I got a call from a single mom
named Nicole.

Now she says the very day
she brought her son home

from the hospital,
activity started going crazy.

The boy is 3 now and getting
picked on every day,

and she says if we can't help,
he's gonna get hurt.

Before Amy arrives, I look
for any leading information.

Photographs, paintings,
even children's art

can influence her findings...

so it's important that I cover
or remove them all.

When I'm finished,
the location will be ready

for tonight's walk.

Yeah, this is not good.

I hear yelling.

People are dealing
with bad stuff.

They're freaking out
and cryin' and screamin'.

Feel, like, panic,
lots of panic, panic,

like I'm gonna pass out.

It's like, "Aah!"

Well, Nicole,
I'm glad I'm here

'cause after talking
to you on the phone,

it sounds like you're
going through hell.

- What's going on?
- Our life here is a daily hell.

My son is having
such horrible experiences

that I'm really worried
for his safety.

Let's back it up a second.
Who exactly lives in the house?

Okay.
Well, it's me and my son.

August -- he's 3 years old.

- Okay.
- This is my friend, Patty.

She moved in a couple months ago
with her daughter, Haley.

It's just temporary.
They're moving out soon.

Are they moving out because
of what's going on here?

Yes. They really didn't believe
until they experienced it.

How long have you been
in this house?

I bought the house

So did you notice activity
soon as you moved in?

No. I only noticed it
after August was born.

Okay. Do me a favor.

Give me an idea of what
you guys are experiencing

on a daily basis.

Well, we feel like
we're being watched.

We hear voices.

And objects will move
on their own.

We all see shadow figures

and we get
physically touched.

Now I know you said
it's picking on your son.

How exactly is it
affecting August?

He is constantly seeing
a man with a mustache.

This thing can transform itself
to be almost anything,

and he says that this entity
punches him in the face,

goes into his head.

You sure this is not just him
being a 3-year-old,

acting out?

He behaves in a way that
I know is not my son.

His eyes will get black.

He will do something violent,
like punch me, hit me, choke me.

He becomes very disoriented.

He'll have no memory
of what just happened.

I'm afraid he'll be
traumatized for life.

And how you dealing
with all of it?

It's my number one stressor
in life, is this.

Sometimes, I think it's...
could make me crazy,

but I'm going
to stop at nothing

to protect my son.
- Okay.

So when I was opening,
I encountered

a...a male,

who's with me here right now.

And he comes in
and he's upset about the living.

He's extremely calculating
with the living.

He likes games.

They're also getting confused,

feeling like they have
early onset Alzheimer's.

Something mentally
is wrong with them,

and that's him, that, you know
... their minds.

What makes him happy
is thinking about k*lling,

and I got specifically family.

Okay, Nicole, so what's
going on in this room?

When I'm downstairs here,

it sounds like there are
knocking noises

coming from the basement.

Could it be pipes knocking?

No.

This happened at a time when
the heating system was not on,

and neither was
the central air.

Okay. Have you experienced
anything else?

I see these shadowy figures
going down the hallway

all the time.

What's that shadow figure
look like to you?

It's very misty.
It's not solid.

Sometimes it's one

and sometimes it's, like,
a cluster.

Would you consider it
to be of human shape?

I can't make it out
to be a human.

Okay.
Anything else down here?

I have this collectible
fire truck here.

It will just fly off
for no reason.

Now I know you have cats.
Could they have knocked it over?

No. My cats don't even like
to be in this room.

Okay.

I think the dude
would hang out down here.

He might get a little physical
with people down here

being down here,
because this is his place.

It's more of a feeling
like he goes through your body,

and you feel it.

He's causing
wicked hallucinations.

He basically reads their minds
and then projects out

what they think of as a ghost,

so he tries
to freak them out, too.

You know what I'm saying?

"I can make them think they're
hearing sounds down here.

"I can make them think
they're seeing

this, that,
or the other thing."

Like, he goes,
"I put it in their mind.

They see what they want to see."

What kind of thr*at
do you think

this guy might pose
to the living?

He's a...sexual predator.

I think it's a possibility,
and I hope not,

that he's perving out on them

while they're sleeping
in their beds.

They're feeling, like,
uncomfortable in the bathroom,

feeling sexually violated.

So, Nicole, I assume
this is your bedroom.

- Yes.
- So what's going on up here?

The bathroom, you know,

I constantly feel like
I'm being watched.

I took a shower, and I just
immediately felt this coldness

and somebody behind me.

It felt very creepy, almost as
if the person felt entitled

to be there,
very perverted feeling.

Anything else going on
in this room?

I was pushed on my hips
a few times.

Do you get the sense
if it's a male or a female?

I always imagined there was
a masculine presence here.

- Okay.
- Hi, Mommy.

Hi, Auggy. Come here.

- Hi.
- One, two, three.

Okay. Mommy was telling me
about all the stuff

that's going on
in this place.

You having
a tough time here?

Yeah. So Mommy says
there's a man bothering you.

Can you tell me
what the man looks like?

Tell them what he does.

Well, he hits me.

Yeah?
Where does he hit you?

In your head?

We're gonna try
to get rid of him.

That sound good to you?

I'm going to finish
talking with Mommy.

- Is that okay?
- Yeah?

- All right.
- All right.

Just be careful, okay?

Aw, he's adorable.

Thanks.

I get really down on myself
because I always wonder

if I'm doing enough
for my son.

You just
have to stay strong.

There's sometimes
no other choice.

It's a very lonely
daily existence.

I gotta ask you,

what are you hoping
we can do for you?

There's something
attacking my son,

and I would like for it
to be fixed.

He's my world.
I have to protect him.

What the...

Did you touch me?

- No.
- No?

Somebody is capable of touching.

I think it might be the guy.

What makes me nervous, though,

is that he might be touching
them inappropriately, sexually.

He could be touching them, like,
caressing their hair

or their face or their feet.

He likes it when they become
emotional and upset and scared.

He, like, breaks them down
mentally, psychologically.

It's really bad
because it's all set

on messing with
the living people here.

So, Patty,
Nicole was telling me

that you and your daughter
moved in here recently.

Yeah, 8 months ago.

Nicole called us in
because she thinks

whatever is here is
going after her little boy.

I mean,
you agree with that?

Yes.

There is a male figure
attacking at him.

I have seen him very scared,

and I don't know how
to help him.

I try to make him
feel more safe.

Why do you think whatever's
here is picking on him?

I think
because he's young, um,

and...

he can
be manipulated easier.

As far as you living here,

I mean, have you had
experiences?

I had something brush against me
while I was in bed.

Were you awake at the time,
or did it wake you up?

I was trying to go to sleep.

Okay.
Did that ever happen again?

I had movement on my bed,
and I turned the light on,

and there was nothing there.

Could it have been
one of Nicole's cats?

They do not go up
in my room.

Now do you think Nicole
and August are in danger here?

Yes. I have seen him
very scared,

and he's such a loving kid.

So when you see him sad,
you know,

you just want to
make it better for him.

There is a nasty woman
up here.

She does not want us here.

She wants us to vacate
the premises.

- Can you describe her?
- Okay.

She looking, like,
stretched out right now.

She's taking up, like,
from here

all the way to the other post.

This is her area.

Everything is wide.

I think she's related
to the angry guy.

I think there's a lot
of competition

between this male
and this female.

I think they're, like,
competing for attention,

but they hate each other.

What kind of experiences
might the living have with her?

She wants to be heard.
She wants to be seen.

So I think the living see her
and hear her

more than
any other dead person here.

She likes that.
And she is pissed off.

She is ranting and raving
and going back and forth.

Living people would hear
a lot of pacing,

noises, walking.

I think she would, like,
slam the doors,

throw...around.

Anything physical like that
would be coming from her.

She knows it scares them,
and that can take a toll.

So, Carl, I understand that

you're really close friends
with Nicole.

Yes. I've known her...
approximately 25 years.

That being said, I'm sure you've
spent time here at the house.

Yes.

She told me what's going on
here, and it sounds insane.

- Have you had any experiences?
- Yes, I have.

I was standing in the doorway
to the kitchen,

looking towards
the laundry room,

and I saw a black mist
float out

from the laundry room
into the kitchen area.

Now was there any cooking
going on in the kitchen?

No, absolutely not.

Had you ever seen anything
like that again in the house?

I have seen a weird
stretched-out apparition

in the piano room,
but there was no face on it.

From here down,
it was, like, um,

early 1900s dress,
like, frilly.

What was the size,
you think?

It was probably, stretched out,
about 6 feet long.

All right. So did anybody else
see this thing?

No. It had disappeared.

All right.
So you've seen a couple things.

Anything else?

The second floor hallway is
an area where you always feel

like you're being watched.
And down here in the basement,

I'm pretty much the only one
who will come down here.

You know, I gotta ask you.
Do you know the kid really well?

Yes.

So Nicole thinks something here
is going after August.

- You agree?
- Absolutely.

You can see when
he gets aggressive.

So how do you know this is
not just kid nonsense?

I've worked with children
for almost 30 years

as a counselor and a teacher.

This is something
I haven't seen before.

He's scared, scared for him,
scared for Nicole.

There's a weird
shape-shifter guy up here.

He did keep showing me,
like, images of, like, a demon,

him being a demon,

and then it shifts,
and I see this man there.

He looks like
an '80s metalhead guy

but without a face,

and like a kid.

This is very much the focus
of a lot of bad stuff.

They're getting the brunt,
the brunt of it.

This is, like, the metalhead
demon...guy's sole focus,

is make them lose faith

and turn them into
a dark, evil person.

He's whispering,
"You want to k*ll everybody.

Best if you k*ll your family."

He's trying to
either k*ll them

or cause them to k*ll others.

As soon as I get into town,

the first call I make is to
the local cops.

They knew all about
Nicole's property,

and it turns out,
there was a m*rder-su1c1de

right outside her front door.

I'm driving over to meet
with a county sheriff who says

it's one of the most senseless
killings he's ever seen.

Well, Sheriff Hanna,
I appreciate

you helping me out
with this case.

What can you tell me
about the two guys

involved in
this m*rder-su1c1de?

The two gentlemen lived
next to the property

that you're investigation.

The two men were
next-door neighbors.

First individual was a man
by the name of William Eck,

49 years old.

The other individual
was August Meinberg,

who was a German immigrant,
60 years of age.

What started the bad blood
between the two of them?

Interestingly enough,
it was over their lawns.

You know, I'm laughing because
I know that can get crazy.

- What happened?
- This started in 1949,

where William Eck had left
some trimmings,

tree trimmings
on Meinberg's property.

Resulted in
a verbal confrontation

which escalated to
a physical altercation,

and Eck ended up
choking Meinberg.

A neighbor that witnessed
this had interceded

and broke up the fight.

Well, obviously, this doesn't
end well for either one of them.

So what happened?

Well, fast-forward 1 year.

Once again,
a verbal altercation started,

so Meinberg then retreated
into his home,

emerged with a 12-gauge
sawed-off shotgun,

leveled it at
William Eck's head,

pulled the trigger,
blew his head off.

So does he commit su1c1de
right there and then?

He started waving the g*n around
and ranting, "Who's next?"

A neighbor stepped in and tried
to wrestle the shotgun from him,

at which time, he turned
the g*n on himself,

pointed the shotgun
at his chest,

and immediately k*lled
himself.

Unbelievable.

I mean, you weren't kidding when
you said this was senseless.

I'm seeing that
metalhead demon guy again.

I don't know if he lived here
for a while and moved out,

but he's a bad, bad person.

And I get the year 1942
with him,

so it's kind of weird
that he's, like,

portraying this '80s metalhead.

Something happened that
caused him to lose his faith

and become
an extremely dark individual.

When he d*ed,
he focused on being

as negative and as evil
as possible.

It's a possibility
that he k*lled somebody

during his lifetime.

Do you have any idea
how he d*ed?

He's talking something
about a su1c1de.

I'm thinking maybe
he k*lled himself.

So I've got
a mother worried sick

for her 3-year-old son

on a property next door
to the site of a m*rder-su1c1de,

but I want to see
if there's anything else.

Searching through old records,
I find a fatal car accident

that happened in 1997.

Turns out one of the victims
used to own Nicole's house.

I'm headed over to meet
a local author

who says the accident
devastated the family

and eventually forced them to
have to move off the property.

Before we even get to
the accident, what do you know

about the family that
this happened to?

Well, Ronny and Karen Robok

bought your client's
property in 1975,

and they moved in
with their three daughters.

What do we know about Ronny?

He was a supervisor
at a local supermarket.

All right. So the day of
the accident, what happened?

It was May 20, 1997.

Ronny was on his way to work,
just a few miles from his house,

and a tractor-trailer
swerved into oncoming traffic

and hit six cars.

Ronny's truck was crushed.
He d*ed at the scene.

Here is
the death certificate.

Okay, so they pronounced
him right there.

- Yes.
- Was Ronny the only victim?

Four people were hurt, but Ronny
was the only one who d*ed.

So we got one DOA,
four injured.

What about the driver?

Ever figure out
what the hell happened?

Benny Hilton was the driver.

They found that he had been
driving 19 straight hours,

which is twice as long
as he should've

been driving without a break.
- Okay.

They also found cocaine
in his system.

Okay, so obviously,
he was negligent.

What happened?

He was in prison for 5 years

and ordered to pay $145,000
to the family.

What happened with the family?
They tried to stay in the home.

It was just really
too sad for them,

and they ended up
moving out in 2001.

This metalhead demon guy
can really mess with the living.

He likes to create heart issues,
stroke, convulsions.

He also indicated an image
of a car accident,

and he called it his "big try."

It made me think
that he did try to cause

or create a major car accident.

I see two different scenarios.

One was a male in a car.

Then, I see a flash of a female.

He expressed he liked doing

because it could
potentially k*ll them,

or it could be a possibility
that in the future,

he's going to attempt this.

You know, another thing
caught my eye in research.

A family called the Gromans
owned my client's property

for over 60 years,

and they suffered
a lot of death.

I managed to track down
a descendant

who says when they weren't busy
burying family members,

they were busy fighting
with one another.

Well, Richard,
thanks for meeting with me.

I appreciate that.

Your family owned
my client's property

for over 6 decades.
When was that?

The house was built
in 1894

by my great-great-uncle,
Thomas Groman.

And here is his picture.

And he owned
the property until 1908,

when he sold it
to his mother, Rebecca.

So now Rebecca
has got the property.

How's that work out
for her?

She owns the property
until 1912,

but she gets kidney failure
and heart disease and dies.

Here is
her death certificate.

Okay, so she was only there
for a couple years.

Yes, for 4 years.

The property is now
transferred to Maybelle,

and that was
the daughter of Rebecca.

She lives there with
her husband for 5 years.

So why only 5 years
on the property?

Maybelle is diagnosed
with uterine cancer,

and she dies in 1918.

And here is
her death certificate,

and she's only 39 years old,
which is very young.

What a shame.

I'm seeing the woman who's
related to the angry guy again.

Do you have much idea
who she was in life?

I think that she lived here.

Any idea when?

Like 1915, and in that time,

she was looking to be
in her 40s or 50s.

And she's white
and she's got brown eyes.

Any idea how she's related
to this angry guy?

I don't know. I don't know,
but they...hate each other.

Okay, so now Maybelle's dead.
What happens to the property?

Eventually, it ends up
in the hands

of Maybelle's nephew,
George.

What do you know
about this guy?

George was the black sheep
of the family.

Okay, so black sheep
of the family.

What's the story with that?

One of the sort of
famous stories was

he eloped
and got married in 1907

to a woman
by the name of Hannah.

Within a year, he was
walking down the street

with two girls on his arm,
and his wife caught him...

and he bolted into
the nearest hotel

to try to hide.

This was
such a crazy story,

it made the newspapers
here in town.

And here is a copy
of the newspapers --

"Chased Her Husband
And Girl Companions."

I don't mean to laugh
at your family...

- Yeah.
- ...but this is pretty funny.

Well, I...
It's funny.

So does George wind up
getting divorced?

- What happens?
- No.

He and Hannah stay married,

but he does move back
into the property

you're investigating that
his parents were living in.

Does he stop there
and just straighten out?

No, he doesn't.
George was an alcoholic.

In 1930, he was passed out in
his car on the railroad tracks,

and the train was coming.

Luckily,
there were cops nearby.

They pulled him out
of the car,

so he didn't get hit
by the train,

and he was arrested.

Five years later, he was
in a serious car accident.

Drunk again, he wrapped
the car around a pole.

What ever happens to him?

He eventually dies in 1952.

He's 64 years old.
He's still living in the house.

And here is
his death certificate.

He d*ed of rectal cancer.

So we just have
this angry guy.

I couldn't gather if it was
his home, a business, or both.

It's even hard to know
what he did for a living.

He lived here for awhile
and moved out

and had come back.

I think the dude
would hang out down here.

He used to come down here
to escape his family.

So what's going on
with him and his family?

He felt like they were a burden,
took time away from

what he really wanted
to be thinking about or doing.

"You can't be down here.
This is my space.

You need to leave."

I think he just hated all people
and just wanted to be alone

so he could just do his thing.

It's just much harder for him
to live with people.

He did fantasize about --
about -- about k*lling

and -- and t*rture.

I'm hoping that this was
just his fantasy world.

And that lady I saw,

I don't think she was...
like, psycho in that way.

Maybe that's why
she hated him so much

'cause he's, like, a monster.

I saw several disturbing
things during my walk,

but two stood out.

First, the angry woman
at the top of the stairs.

She was very petite,
pale skin.

She had high cheekbones.

She stretched
her entire face.

Next, I described
the metalhead demon guy

tormenting a living person.

I was in a bedroom,
and there was a dead male

kneeling to the side

of the individual in the bed.

And he had long,
heavy metal-looking hair.

Amy, is that what
you saw?

Yes, that's what I saw.

Now that Amy and I have
completed our investigations,

we're ready to reveal
our findings to each other

and our clients
for the first time.

Well, Amy,
I'd like you to meet Nicole.

She lives here with
her 3-year-old son, August.

That's him right here.

She also has
a couple of roommates,

but activity here is so bad,

they're planning on
not sticking around.

This is
her long-time friend Carl,

and he's also had
a ton of experiences here,

but both of them are convinced
that whatever's here

in this house
is going after August.

They feel if we can't help them,

that he's gonna be scarred
for life.

So now that Amy knows
a little bit about you guys,

I'll ask her to describe
her walk for us.

So I encountered this
deceased woman upstairs.

It was obvious that
she didn't want me here,

and I was not welcome.

She does really like
scaring the living here,

even though she knows that
it's causing people here

psychological trauma.

She doesn't really care
because she is so desperate

for any kind of attention.

And one of the things
she'll do

if she gets bored
or frustrated

is she'll throw tantrums.

When she has these tantrums
and she's stomping around,

you might hear, like,
stomping sounds.

Wow.

There is a pounding
on the floor,

almost like somebody
is holding a broom handle

and pounding against
the basement floor.

Interesting.

She may try
to actually be seen.

One of the things that she can
do is actually throw things.

Nicole, tell her
about the fire truck.

There is a fire truck
near the mantel,

and it'll fly off
about 3 feet.

You said it's possible they
might be able to see this woman.

Any idea what it would
look like to them?

Yeah, so her whole face
and body was, like,

stretched out like that,

indicating to me, like,
"This is my territory."

I had a sketch done
of what I saw.

That's interesting.

My.

I've seen an apparition
stretched, too, at the top,

but appeared to be a woman
from about here on up.

Interesting.

About -- We figured about
6 feet long, about a foot wide.

So did you get any idea of
who this woman could've been?

I had a hard time
with that,

but a couple of things
stood out.

She was white,
brown eyes, brown hair.

Probably in her 40s.

She kind of came from

a really kind of dysfunctional,
crazy family,

and that she lived here at some
point between 1915 and 1925.

That's not a ton to go on,
but based on the time period,

I've got an idea
of who it might've been.

From 1912 to 1918,
this place was owned

by a woman named
Maybelle Groman.

Her relatives
are actually the ones

that built this house in 1894.

Five years after
she got this place,

she was diagnosed
with uterine cancer,

and she d*ed from the disease
a few months later.

Here's her death certificate.

You got it pretty spot on,
on the age,

'cause look how old she was
when she d*ed.

She was 39.

That's awful.

Is it possible
it's Maybelle Groman

that you might've seen?

Time-wise, age-wise,
interesting. Yeah.

The next person that
I ran into

was a deceased male
who is related to her.

This male
used to live here,

but I got that he was from
a much more recent time period,

maybe the '60s.

It seemed like he had moved out
and then had moved back in.

I couldn't initially tell
how he was related,

but the thing with this guy
is that he was very unstable

while he was alive,

and he really despised
his family,

and I saw him fantasizing
about murdering them.

He did fantasize about
k*lling and -- and t*rture.

I'm hoping that this was
just his fantasy world.

Maybe that's why
she hated him so much

'cause he's, like, a monster.

I saw him mostly hanging out
in the basement.

That's where he likes to be,

because he can be alone,
away from everybody.

The guy sounds a lot like
Maybelle Groman's nephew George.

Now after Maybelle d*ed, this
property eventually went to him.

But the guy you saw, George,
lived here a couple of times,

first in the early 1900s,

and then again
about 15 years later.

Now I talked to one
of Groman's descendants.

He told me George was
the black sheep of the family

and he embarrassed them
his entire life.

In 1907, he eloped
with his wife, Hannah.

A year later, he was caught
in broad daylight

cheating on her with two women.

After this,
the two of them separated,

and he ended up moving back
into the house with his parents.

So the descendant
I spoke to said that

the family allowed him to
move back in here

so they could keep an eye on him
and maybe try to control him,

but that didn't work out.

1930, he got drunk,

passed out in his car
on the railroad tracks.

Dear.

And the cops saw it
and saved him.

They actually pulled him out...

Five years later, he actually
totaled his car

while driving drunk,
and he got seriously injured.

Now, George ended up dying
in 1952 of rectal cancer,

and he was 64 years old
at the time of his death.

Now, is it possible the guy
you saw is George Groman?

Sounds like this one
could be him.

Yeah. Yeah.

Now does he do anything
to the living here?

Yeah. He is capable of getting
physical, so he can caress.

He can get violent
and possibly hit.

Tell Amy about when you got
touched on the hip.

Yes.

I've been pushed on the hips,
various rooms of the house.

One of the things that
he did to me

was up at the top of the stairs,
caressing my back,

and then it was playing
with my hair,

but, like, in a...
creepy...

- Yeah.
- You know what I'm saying?

Like, I saw him watching
living people in the shower.

I saw him wanting to be
inappropriate with the living.

You felt like you were being
watched in the shower.

Yes. Yeah, bathroom is
a hot spot for sure.

What I'm really concerned
about is how he likes

to mess with your mind.

He likes it when they become
emotional and upset and scared.

He, like, breaks them down
mentally, psychologically.

It's really bad
because it's all set

on messing with
the living people here.

The other thing with
this guy

is that he can create
and cause hallucinations.

He said that he can
go into your mind

and project back to you
what you're afraid of.

My son
sees a man constantly.

He describes him as...

red with a mustache.

Now, Amy, you said he can
project what you're afraid of.

Both of them have seen
shadow figures.

Last night, I literally
saw somebody

running through
my dining room.

I saw black mist creeping in
from the laundry room,

along the ceiling.

It's bad.

Okay, anything else?

This next person that I met
was a deceased male.

First encountered him,
I thought he was a demon.

But it's not.
It's a dead male.

He presented
his human form to me,

and it looked like
an '80s heavy metal rocker.

He's obsessed with
harming living people.

He's been trying to do this
for a very long time.

One of the things
he was focused on

was him talking about
his "big try."

He was showing me
a massive car accident.

He was leading me to believe
that this is something

that had occurred
in the past,

and something that he may work
on doing in the future as well.

One of the people who
owned this house at one point

d*ed in a very horrible
car accident.

So from 1975 to 2001, this house
was owned by the Robok family.

In May of 1997, Ronny Robok left
for work, and then on the way,

a semi-truck drifted into
oncoming traffic

and hit this poor guy,
k*lling him instantly.

Got his death certificate here.

Okay, so is it possible
the metalhead

had something to do
with this crash?

I think
it's a big possibility.

Yes.

So is this guy capable
of doing that to these guys?

Yes.

I'm worried because I got
that he's focused

on a young person here.

He likes to mess with this
person while they're sleeping,

and this is what he does.

He plants negative thoughts

to make the living person
do his bidding.

So I had a sketch done
of what I saw happening

with this dead man.

It's kind of creepy.

Wow.

Yeah, my son...
Jeez.

Yeah, my son did say
he had a lot of hair,

and that he can
make himself into anything.

You felt like August
was taken over a few times.

Yes. My son came running
and really super scared,

and all of a sudden,
he didn't have fear anymore.

He just stood up,
came over to me,

and slapped me
in the face...

Yeah.

...and then became extremely
disoriented afterwards

and was calling my name,
and I know that wasn't him.

Yeah. It wasn't him.

Now could he have
put the idea in Auggy?

Yes. Yeah, absolutely.

He would've been, you know,

possessed by this
freaking maniac to do it.

The thing that scares me about
him is that he wants death.

He wants this person
to k*ll people.

Wow.

Honestly, can't believe
that this could be happening.

Like, why my son?
Like, why?

This person just wants
death, mayhem, and m*rder.

Any means necessary.

It is on par with demons.

Are you serious?

So, Nicole, you called us in

because you were worried
about your son August,

and it's a good thing you did

because based on
what Amy's told us,

the problem was a lot worse
than you realized.

But now it's time
to answer the big question.

Can you raise your son
here safely,

or do you need
to get the hell out?

For that answer,
I'm gonna turn it over to Amy.

A lot of things need
to happen simultaneously.

The first thing is your son
needs a full-blown exorcism.

- An exorcism?
- Yes.

Now this doesn't necessarily
have to be done

by a Catholic priest,

but an exorcism
has to be performed

because he has been utilized
by this metalhead guy

for a very long time,

and we need him
completely 100%

out of your son.

At the same time, a psychic
and a medium will be showing up,

and they are going to remove

the three deceased individuals
from this home.

Now at the same time, you're
going to be being dealt with

by a reiki master,

who's going to remove
any and all cords from you

that these dead people
have attached.

This must all happen
at the same time.

It has to be
without a hitch.

It has to be going on
simultaneously,

so this is going to be
one heck of a day.

Okay.

And what would happen
if she picked up and moved?

Even if you were to leave,
they would go with you.

I know it's a lot, but are you
gonna take Amy's advice?

Yes, absolutely.

Without a shadow
of a doubt, I will.

It's my job as a mother.

I have to do anything
I can for him.

I don't know how much Carl can
help, but what can he do?

Just being supportive and
helping as much as possible.

Okay, will do.

We have to get this fixed.

I value, you know,
what you say.

I would've gone crazy.

I mean, I really appreciate
this, so thank you.

I wish it were easier,

but if Nicole is going
to overcome

what's happening
to her and August,

she needs to simultaneously
perform the exorcism

while the medium, psychic,
and reiki master remove the dead

and sever their attachments
to the living.

Only then will she and her son
get the peace they deserve.
