Okay, it's been
approximately eight hours

since American entrepreneurs
David Curry and Robbie Garcia

went missing in Bangladesh.

They and their driver were ambushed

while David was on the
phone with his wife.

Oh, can you imagine?

This is their first time in country?

Yeah, first time anywhere.

They were in Dhaka to find a factory

for their start-up
clothing brand, Team Kings.

It's not surprising Bangladesh
was the country of choice

for two up and coming entrepreneurs.

They have the fourth-fastest
growing economy in the world.

So according to the embassy,
three foreigners were att*cked

and k*lled in broad daylight
by men wielding machetes

in the past two months.

There's been an up tick in
v*olence against foreigners

in and around Dhaka, but the abduction

at night while driving.

And abducted, which makes
me think they're still alive.

So the question is,
why and for how long?

So what do the local authorities say?

They believe this was
a robbery gone bad.

David and Robbie were in

the wrong place at the wrong time.

They're expecting this to end badly.

Monty, what do we know
about David and Robbie?

We've got a lot of unknowns here.

Yeah, unlike Jamal.

This unsub took his time with Robbie.

It's definite overkill.

Has a piece of cloth
jammed in his throat.

He might have suffocated.

I'm not gonna know more
until I can get a closer look.

This doesn't bode well for David.

No, it doesn't.

Somebody must have seen something.

Okay, I'm gonna take him back to the jet

and perform the autopsy.

Any luck with witnesses?

No, we just got a lot of
doors slammed in our faces.

People are afraid to talk.

Well, we struck out on
I.D.ing our third suspect,

but given the fact
that they were targeted

and the v*olence, we think that
this was a personal vendetta.

These were not the
cold, dispassionate kills

you'd expect from an
opportunistic offender.

- [Cellphone rings]
- Yeah, this is someone

deeply aggrieved.

[Beep]

Go ahead, Mae.

So Robbie was k*lled by a single strike

to his right anterior jugular.

But he was clearly physically abused.

He has bruising, suffocation,

his left knee was deliberately crushed.

Our unsub did a number on him.

Yeah, and get this...

Robbie's skin had traces

of a particular
combination of chemicals.

They're copper, dioxin,
and formaldehyde.

And all three, when taken together,

are used to dye clothes.

According to Haamid and Uday,

our unsub worked at the factories.

He had dye on his hands.

That must be where he spotted them.

Yeah, Robbie's knee was crushed.

He was beaten and suffocated.

It sounds like the hazards of working

in the ready made garment industry.

You think David and
Robbie are surrogates,

a way for our unsub to lash
out at a particular injustice?

Our unsub did stuff a
shirt down Robbie's throat.

It's the very thing that
they came here to buy.

Yeah, businesses here are driven by

Western clothing companies
outsourcing their labor.

Workers make the lowest
wage in the world.

In return, the work in
dangerous conditions.

- Hey, Jack.
- Monty, what can you tell us

about industrial
disasters here in Dhaka?

We think a factory fire or cave-in

was our unsub's stressor.

Well, for one, accidents
are surprisingly common.

It is pure negligence on
the part of the owners.

Well, you say negligence, I say malice.

These workers are treated
like they're more disposable

than the $ . T-shirts they make.

Our unsub's pain is fresh,

so let's focus on recent accidents.

Um, okay. There was a tannery
fire about six months ago.

Balan Plaza.

It was a mixed-use factory,

home to a number of
Western clothing labels.

Yeah, Balan Plaza.

The building was over capacity,

and the bottom three floors collapsed.

But it didn't get a lot of coverage.

The owner is well connected
and used his influence

to play down the accident in the press.

Yeah, dozens and dozens of
people were buried alive,

but they suffocated because the rescuers

didn't have time to dig them out.

And some lost whole families.

Simmons: That sounds
like the kind of trauma

that would give rise to a revenge-driven

angry retaliatory k*ller.

[Wails]

Mae: He's making David and Robbie suffer

like his family suffered.

What happened to the building?

It was condemned, isolated.

They can't tear it down till
they figure out what to do

with the toxic waste.

Monty, we need an address
and building schematics.

Monty: Coming your way A.S.A.P.

- Thanks.
